Having a band was on my non-negotiables list for our wedding - & Good Musicians FAR exceeded our expectations. Philip was so wonderful to work with - you can just tell by his demeanor that he is ready to keep the energy alive all night long. The amount of dancing at my wedding was something I've never seen before, and I am confident it is all thanks to the band. They played each song we selected for the 'special' dances, and we were simply blown away with talent among the band members. If you are contemplating booking them for your event, DO IT. There are so many details from the night that ended up not being as important as we anticipated - but the energy the band created is something I will truly cherish forever. I really don't know where to start with Good Musicians. Philip is a 1000000/10. From the communication to the delivery of our event, I felt so seen and heard the entire time. In the lead up to our wedding, Philip worked hand in hand with me to pick the band set up that best matched our vision. We had some pretty unconventional ideas and he never even blinked, he just made it happen. On our actual wedding day, we experienced some pretty unexpected and CRAZY weather. Philip and his team pivoted immediately and found a rain plan solution that worked even better than the original plan. They kept me so calm and delivered a performance that all our guests are still talking about. I genuinely don't think I've ever had that much fun dancing at a wedding before. They were so interactive and kept everyone dancing the entire time. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Don't even think about- just book them! Worth every penny. Thank you Philip & team for the best night of my life!!!! -

I genuinely believe that the performers completely make or break a wedding and, with that said, I cannot recommend Phil + Good Musicians enough. After (and even during!) the wedding everyone commented the same thing - "The band killed it!" Highly recommend going with the larger ensembles - the horns went on the dance floor with us while playing - it wasn't just a performance, they made it an experience
Furthermore working with Phil leading up to the wedding was both easy and enjoyable, he's an absolute pro who can clearly execute the typical top 40 wedding setlist, but also knows and loves music enough to put together a more unique, yet perfect, setlist after only a couple conversations. -

My wife and I are so thankful that we chose Good Musicians for our wedding reception. Philip and his team were one of the biggest highlights of our night, from their vocals to showmanship, everything about their performance was world class and made for a truly memorable evening for us and our guests.
In addition to not only being incredible performers, they were also wonderful and easy to work with as we were in the process of planning our wedding. They laid out everything they would need in terms of setup and seamlessly integrated into conversations with our wedding planner and venue when it was time to talk about details. Additionally, they allow you to curate your wedding playlist on Spotify, so you and your partner can add songs to the list as you start thinking through the musical themes of the evening – and with so many talented performers at Good Musicians, that can become a very extensive list.
Finally, Philip, the band members and the entire Good Musicians team really did care about making this an amazing experience for us and our guests. There were constant check ins with us, ensuring we had what we needed, thoughtful questions asked throughout the planning process making sure everything was to our specifications and an overall willingness to work with us on all of our requests.
Throughout the night and next day, we had so many guests comment about how amazing the band was and how much fun they had dancing all night to the litany of songs that were played. If you are looking for a band that will raise the wedding experience for you and all of your guests and help make your reception the experience of a lifetime, you should book Good Musicians ASAP!

We hired Good Musicians for our destination Key Largo wedding. We had the RAVE hybrid band along with Philip on acoustic guitar for ceremony. They were genuinely the highlight of our wedding! So many of our guests said that it was the most fun they've had at a wedding. They are still talking about how great our band was!
The talent and energy that they brought was amazing. They had everyone of all ages out on the dance floor all night, including family members we had never seen dance before. We did not even need to go around to all the tables because we saw everyone out on the dance floor. I remember feeling like I was dancing with my friends and family all at the same time. The energy was so high, and everyone was just having a good time dancing together.
Philip and his team were easy to work with and so flexible compared to other DJ/bands we considered. They listened to our requests and we felt comfortable to trust them with the rest. They understood our vision and exceeded our expectations. I keep saying I wish we could throw another party just to have them perform again! -

When we first started planning, my fiancé wanted live music and I was interested in finding a DJ. The solution: let’s do both! RAVE from Good Musicians was everything we could’ve wanted and more! They were so thorough with the song selection and ensuring that there was a good mix of genres that met our taste and variety for our guests. The dance floor was filled all night and they brought the energy and fun! We danced so hard we didn’t want the night to end. Our guests could not stop raving about how great the band sounded! Thank you so much Rave for the most amazing wedding we could’ve ever dreamed of! It was perfect! -

Amazing acoustic guitar/DJ combo
We hired Philip from Good Musicians for our wedding and he was phenomenal! Philip played acoustic guitar for our ceremony/cocktail hour and then transitioned to a fantastic DJ for the reception! He did such a great job playing the song requests we had on the guitar, and he even learned a few that was very important for us to be played! We got SO many compliments from the guests of the wedding on how well he preformed- including family members that are singers and performers themselves! Then for the reception, he brought the PARTY as the DJ. He was able to really capture the vibe of what we were looking for as well as what the guests wanted to hear. Prior to the wedding, he was very attentive to what we were looking for in terms of song request and do not play lists. He also provided a very large song library of suggestions, as well as songs he knows how to play via Spotify- this made our lives SO much easier and was such a great resource! We also rented uplighting and cold fireworks for our wedding though Philip, which really elevated the party atmosphere. I highly recommend to hire Philip/good musicians for your wedding, he was such a pleasure to have! I can only imagine how talented his band is as well!! -

Good Musicians recently handled all of our entertainment needs at our wedding in Bonita Springs, FL. Good Musicians handled everything from the string trio at the ceremony and cocktail party, the band at the reception, to the DJ at the afterparty. All of our entertainment went off without a hitch and our guests are still raving about the entertainment almost a month after the event (the dance floor was absolutely packed!). Philip is fantastic to work with and listened to all of our needs and requests leading up to the event. We are beyond satisfied with our experience with Good Musicians and we would HIGHLY recommend them for your future entertainment needs! -

Philip was such a highlight for our special day! Music is so important to John and me, and we knew that the songs we picked for the wedding and cocktail hour were going to really be special to us as a couple. I came to Philip with several requests and he played and sang them so beautifully. It really helped John and I be in the moment with our wedding ceremony. Philip even went along with a last minute request from me when I asked him to play a song in the middle of the ceremony. He was ready, and it was a great touch. Philip is a talented and trustworthy musician you should for sure hire! -

Philip was the absolute best to work with from the very beginning. He was responsive and professional. Philip played and sang every song from walking down the isle to all of the first dances. My guest couldn’t stop complimenting the band! They were a hit! I Highly recommend working with Philip! -

Made our Wedding Absolutely Perfect!
We would choose Philip Bixby over and over and over. Three months before our big wedding in Minnesota during Covid we decided to downsize and move our wedding celebration to Florida. Philip was extremely responsive, understanding, accommodating, and helpful. We were still hesitant to plan much knowing that restrictions could change and we would have to change plans again. One month before our Florida wedding, we had to change venues due to covid restrictions. Philip provided me with a list of other options and was, again, responsive, understanding, accommodating, and helpful. We chose one of Philips recommendations, and the wedding was perfect. All of our guests complimented the band and said they would consider a destination wedding solely to have our band. It was a blast. Every minute of the wedding was so much fun. I highly recommend Philip Bixby. He made planning an out of state, Covid wedding easy. -

Philip was excellent! He played at our wedding reception and was such a hit. The guests loved him and the music he played! His song list ranges from oldies, to Ed Sheeran, to Leon Bridges, to Drake, and so much more! He can really play anything! You won’t be disappointed if you hire Philip! :) -

We were delighted to have Philip Bixby play the acoustic guitar and sing during our wedding ceremony on the beach in Islamorada and all we could say was WOW! His musical talent was on point and he was extremely accommodating when it came to singing specific songs when we walked down the aisle. I highly recommend him for weddings or other events that require a live acoustic guitarist! -
