Sharayah was fantastic from start to finish. We began with a FaceTime consultation. Then we set up my trial for hair and makeup. Sharayah really listened to me and made sure that everything looked the way I wanted it to look. On the day of the wedding she made everything perfect and even followed me to the church to make sure I looked picture perfect for wedding photos. She also reminded me throughout the day to breathe and be calm. I would book her again in a heartbeat. -

I don't even know where to begin about Sharaya. I found her through my wedding photographer, and drooled over her gorgeous wedding looks for months. I made an appointment to have her cut my hair and she was so sweet and kind! Above all, I could tell she knew what she was doing. I have never gotten more compliments on a new haircut than that one. She did my hair and makeup for my bridal portraits as well as on my wedding day. I have never felt more beautiful and confident. The hair and makeup lasted all day and night for me and all my bridesmaids. On top of her amazing work, she was so lovely to have around on the day of the wedding. So calm, and helpful. I cannot recommend her enough!!! -

Best updo I’ve ever had
Sharayah was amazing start to finish. I really appreciated her easy going personality. She did a great job figuring out exactly what I was looking for and organized everything. My trial run hair and makeup turned out great and my wedding day hair and makeup was even better. I can’t say enough about how happy I was with the updo. I would not have changed a thing. Worth every penny. -

Dream makeup + hair artist!
Sharayah was incredible! As soon as I contacted her we were on FaceTime talking about my vision for the day. She looked
at my hair and face and gave suggestions on what would look best. She made my dream come true and I was so happy with the end result! She also came to my venue and did everything there which was such a blessing!

I found Sharayah through a friend in the industry and I am SO thankful I did. She was incredibly flexible with all of our changes and needs and ensured my morning was exactly the way we envisioned.
Make up artists probably deal with the most stressed out versions of the brides - with the highest nerves. And she went above and beyond to calm and relax me with an eye mask and breathing techniques.
Her calm demeanor and sweet personality are exactly what every bride needs and hopes for on their big day!
She also has the CUTEST salon for your trial run. Absolutely loved my experience with her.

Best hair and makeup ever!
I mean WOW, how many good things can I say about Sharayah in this review, she was absolutely amazing. From my initial inquiry, to my bridal preview, to her proposal, to the week/day of, Sharayah was on top of it. I would describe her as highly communicative and responsive, understanding and receptive to feedback, very professional, awesome at what she does, sweet and thoughtful. I couldn't have been happier with the way my hair and makeup turned out for my wedding. After the bridal preview, I gave her feedback on the things I'd like changed and she nailed it on the day of. We went with a Hollywood glam wave for hair, and a softer glam for makeup - it was beautiful! I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Sharayah, from the bottom of my heart!! -

Amazing Artist!
Sharayah did my hair/makeup for my wedding day and I have been going to her for haircuts ever since! Sharayah cares for her clients and is always attentive to any requests while being able to provide recommendations based on what you’re looking for. She’s been in the business for a while and is experienced, talented, and professional. She’s the perfect person to hire for your special day! -

Working with Sharayah was great. I loved how I looked on my wedding day, she really listened to what I was wanting and made sure everything was perfect. I had shorter hair but wanted my hair pulled back, she managed to create a beautiful twisty updo 😍 My makeup stayed flawless all night, which is impressive after all the dancing and champagne! SALT Beauty was amazing and will make you feel gorgeous ❤️ highly recommend. -

I canceled with Golden Hour a month before my wedding. Sharayah was often rude and didn’t listen to my requests for hair and makeup. I found her rather belittling. I started to get very anxious about having her there the morning of the wedding. Even though I have decided to do my own hair and makeup for my wedding, I feel so confident with my decision. I would not recommend.Golden Hour Artistry's reply:

We are sorry to hear about your experience. We strive to help our bridal babes look and feel flawless on their big day and are known for our exceptional customer service and professional expertise. We appreciate you revising your original review to mirror the contract and past conversations we have had through text. While we understand you are upset, Golden Hour Artistry did their very best to accommodate all of your needs. After having a successful trial run- we understand sometimes ideas for what you hope to look like on your wedding day may change. To ease your mind we offered an additional complimentary run through to practice new styles, unfortunately one of Golden Hour Artsitry’s earlier guests had an emergency which caused us to adjust all clients through that day. This is not normal for us, but we strive to take care of all guests equally + fairly. We understand this was upsetting, causing you to cancel. Though our deposit is non-refundable and you cancelled outside our 90 day cancellation policy, we offered you a partial refund for rendered services since we did not live up to your expectations.
We wish you nothing but the best and congratulations to you and your husband.
