We selected the Golden Glow to cater our family Christmas party, and they did an excellent job. The food was timely and very tasty. It was nice knowing that the burden of preparing for our family Christmas meal was not on us, and the Golden Glow exceeded our expectations.

Outstanding Catering Experience
The Golden Glow provided on-site catering and bar service for our Yeo & Yeo 100th Anniversary Open House and the food and service was excellent! We had over 300 guests and they all raved about the food and the catering and bar team provided outstanding service! We had plenty of food and they did a great job of cleaning up before they left! Jessica did a fantastic job coordinating everything for us and provided the excellent customer service we were looking for. We give them 5 stars and will definitely call them again for our next event!

I cannot praise Golden Glow and Jessica enough. The staff went above and beyond in every single way - the space was beyond gorgeous, it was the best wedding food we've ever had, and the CAKE was gorgeous and delicious. We even had a little floral issue and the staff went out of their way to assist and get flowers for our cake. Jessica was there for me every step of the way and was an amazing communicator for my thousands of questions. Golden glow was absolutely amazing and is a top tier wedding venue for you and your family.

Having our wedding at Golden Glow has been nothing but an amazing experience! We booked both our ceremony & reception here. The ceremony took place outside & it was an absolutely gorgeous spot with great photo opportunities. The reception was beautiful with delicious food, cake, and an open bar. Not to mention the staff is wonderful! Jessica made sure to take care of us the entire time & she is such a sweetheart!
We chose this venue, not only because it is beautiful & staff is friendly, but because you can create your own package and include things like the food, cake, liquor, DJ, photo booth, photographer...etc, as they contract them out. This made planning so much less stressful- I highly recommend you use some of their services as well!
The only problem we experienced at Golden Glow was the DJ they had contracted out to us, but they immediately made it right, the second I brought up our disappointment they offered a refund.
Overall, we are so thankful to have found Golden Glow & to have made so many fond memories of our wedding there! We will forever be grateful! Thank you, Golden Glow!

Best Wedding Venue!
Jess at Golden Glow is absolutely AMAZING and made the whole process so easy and smooth! From booking to the end of our wedding night Jess was so responsive and caring! As I didn't have a wedding planner and had never planned a wedding, I had a million questions for Jess. She always responded quickly, yet was never annoyed with my questions. In the weeks leading up to our wedding day and on our wedding, Jess was checking in on me, my husband, and the wedding party constantly, but not annoyingly, to make sure everything we needed was taken care of. Along with Jess, the staff at Golden Glow was very attentive to me and my husband but also to all our guests. On top of that, the food was AMAZING! After the wedding, we have so many compliments about how great the food was and how attentive and friendly the staff was! The entire experience with Golden Glow was amazing and helped to make our wedding absolutely picture-perfect for me and my husband! We could not have chosen a better venue!

Bridal Shower in Pavilion
We held my daughters bridal shower/brunch in the Pavilion on 9/17/22… it was a beautiful covered area with its own private bathrooms and indoor and outdoor bar areas. The wait staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and saw to our every request. Jessica was extremely helpful and walked me through the whole reservation process, from choosing the food, scheduling, and answering all my questions. The food was delicious and plentiful. I have no complaints and highly recommend the Pavilion as an outdoor/fresh air venue. The photos don’t do it justice!

A beautiful venue that goes above and beyond for your special day
We had our wedding at Golden Glow Ballroom in September 2021. They made the stress of planning a wedding a breeze. What’s great about Golden glow is they take care of so much for you so you don’t have to think twice about it. The food was incredible, they made sure I had everything I needed and even upgraded our event to the full ballroom since there was a cancellation! This venue is beautiful! We had our ceremony in the glow garden, which made for incredible pictures! I highly recommend this venue to anyone searching for your upcoming wedding!

Best. Day. Ever.
Everyone at Golden Glow was so easy to get along. We were getting help from Jessica & she made our whole day as stress free as possible. We had a few hiccups along the way, but our day was perfect!
When we were looking for a venue, we wanted something that kind of was all inclusive as possible. This was THE place! It didn’t break the bank, we even got some deals, & our centerpieces were (mostly!) included! I immediately fell in love with the garden so this was the place to have our wonderful day!
Oh & the food was delicious! They even made a side dish that wasn’t on their menu! My husband and I both said that it tasted like what we make at home.
I would recommend going to their Bridal Expo (two times a year) to get a feel for yourself! We went once & was able to decide if this was the place. COVID wouldn’t allow us to attend another one to confirm our choices, but they were super accommodating.
I wouldn’t want to have our wedding anywhere else. It was literally the best day ever. ❤️

A beautiful dream come true
Jessica and the entire Golden Glow staff were absolutely amazing to work with. They made our dream wedding come true, Jessica was in touch with use the entire time always quick to answer our questions, and would ask if she didn't know the question and get back with me within 24hrs. The food was perfect, all of our friends and family are still talking about it. Highly recommend the ham with a ginger glaze and pineapple. As soon as my husband and I stepped foot in the Golden Glow we were instantly in love. The Golden Glow was an easy choice, their prices were extremely fair, plus they had great deals. You were able to use all their decorations for free or you could bring your own and the staff even sets it up and takes it down for you. We also recommend their Photographer Alicia at The Looking zglass Photography, as well as their Dj Night Life Entertainment. The whole team made that night one if the best nights of our life.

We originally planned our wedding on a date that ended up falling just after COVID had become a serious issue and everything was on lockdown. Because of this, we had to reschedule twice and it was stressful redoing everything eacb time; however, Jessica at the Golden Glow was so kind and helpful and worked hard to make everything perfect so we were beyond happy in the end so it’s almost as if any trouble that came along was non-existent! Golden Glow was absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Jessica and Zach. They went above and beyond to make our day special. The Glow was absolutely amazing!! Chef Maria and Jessica were very friendly and easy to work with. They answered all of my questions very timely. Chef was able to create a delicious gluten free dinner roll and crisp for us. The service staff were very polite. The food was absolutely delicious and was EXACTLY what we ordered. My wife wanted salmon and Chef prepared a single piece of salmon with a delicious pear apple cherry compote on top. We had a full service buffet setup under a tent in a backyard, and The Glow team knocked it out of the park. I ABSOLUTELY recommend them for any and all services needed for a wedding or any type of event.

The venue was worth every penny. Now that we are getting our photos back, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful location to really liven up our photos! We were under our head count and we’re told they ran out of chicken so some people had to wait a bit, but they handled all of it so I wasn’t being bothered by a thing!

I had nothing but a positive experience with Golden Glow. First off Jessica and Mia were the nicest and most helpful ladies I have ever met. Jessica is well organized and ALWAYS made time for questions no matter the time of day. You can tell she loves her job and connecting with each bride who comes in. The day of the wedding I was understandably nervous but she was with me all day and night and reassured me that everything would be great. My wedding was everything I wanted it to be and more. To say the venue and service was perfect would be an understatement. We had our ceremony out in the beautiful garden and reception in Ballroom A. The bridesmaids and myself were able to get ready the morning of in the foreman room, which made it easy for me to direction set up while I was getting hair and make up. I could go on and on about my terrific experience but you just have to take my word that this is the place you need to have your wedding! You cannot beat the price for everything that is included with the venue. It really is a one stop shop. I plan on having my baby shower here as well and want Mia to make my cake. She is very talented and can do any dessert you want and any cake design as well. Just bring in a picture! Thank you Golden Glow for making our wedding one to remember! My guests raved about the food and said it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time. Could not have done it without Jessica. Please give her a raise.

When I first found this venue after attending a bridal show they were out of my price range using the online calculator. I was contacted by a coordinator telling me that they could work with my budget, even though it was about half of the estimated cost online. I thought, okay I'll go see what they can offer for a $3,000 TOTAL wedding budget. To my surprise, they customized an entire food menu, drink menu and gave me the best time of year to have a low cost wedding. They helped me pick a Friday in April, with doing so, my wedding looked elegant and people can't believe the entire thing (minus attire, DJ, Photographer, make-up, cake) cost about $3,500! Fortunately as the year went by we were able to expand our budget some and added on a few things. I literally did no work at all! They set everything up and took care of everything after! They followed every request I had.. I wanted to do the first dance before dinner, so they moved the buffet line from their typical space to make it happen, they hauled my cake to the dance floor for cutting, they let us come late the day before to do rehearsal after everyone got out of work and provided an amazing rehearsal dinner (pizza buffet-super affordable and it was a huge hit, plus the convenience of having it all right there was AMAZING; they also recommended that to me!), I had requests so little that could've easily got forgotten.. like folding the napkins a completely different way, certain table cloth colors, different spots for typical things.. they remembered EVERYTHING! If something went wrong on my wedding day, I literally have no idea! They handled every single thing and I just showed up. No family was stuck setting up or cleaning up which was super important to me as my mom would've never relaxed. Everyone loved the food and the mixed drink, sweettart, we opted for with beer and wine rather than an open bar, was a huge hit with everyone (I was 6 weeks pregnant so I wasn't able to try it).
I would 110% recommend Golden Glow to anyone! The comfort I felt walking in to my wedding day knowing everything was taken care of was such a relief that was indescribable. I wish I had any other reason to use their venue for hosting (I already had a baby shower a few years ago, or it would definitely be there too!)! Oh, and Jessica literally became like a bff for me! She answered me anytime of day or night and reassured me anytime I had concerns. She is literally a huge asset to the Golden Glow!!

Hall Wedding
I don’t think we could have picked a better place to have our wedding. First of all Jessica is amazing! From the moment I met her, I knew that was where I wanted to have my wedding. She ensured that I had no worries with me wedding from start to finish, she is absolutely the sweetest woman with the kindest heart. Maria made the best tasting food possible, everyone complimented the food and we have some people in our families that REALLY love their food! The bartenders and the staff cleaning up.... everyone was great and friendly and it was all around a great experience. Courtney ran through our rehearsal with us a number of times to make sure we had it had it perfect since we had a friend marrying us. I highly recommend anyone to use the Golden Glow, they will treat you like family. They are truly a class act venue.

Elegant and Full-Service Ballroom
The Golden Glow and their entire staff made my night perfect. All of my guests were wonderfully fed, the bar service was quick, and the decor was on point! They have many different tiers of food and beverage packages to choose from, so they are literally the venue for any budget! The vendors they work with give you SO many options for linens and decor. The baker and chef, Mia, is so skilled! Our multiple cakes were amazing, both visually and taste-wise! All of the food she prepared was amazing, my husband even asked if we could have Golden Glow remake the food for our first anniversary next year! This venue will be as involved as you want them. If you want them to plan your day, they are knowledgeable enough to do it and do it perfectly. They are also capable of taking your vision and making every little detail come to life! I am so happy this venue also offers itself for every other party you ever want to host in the future!

Amazing! Ask for Jessica, she was the most helpful and amazing wedding organizer ever!!! I was not in the state while planning my wedding and Jessica made sure things were so easy and reassured me that everything would be taken care of anf it was! I really can't day enough about her!

Working with the Golden Glow staff members for our wedding was an exceptional experience. Jessica was a delight to work with. She went up and above every expectation I had when working with a venue for a wedding reception. She helped plan all aspects of the wedding, even items such as timelines that she did not have to be directly involved with. Jessica was supportive, accommodating, helpful, and just an overall joy to work with. She assisted with setting up decorations, everything the day of the wedding, and the night/day after. Everything was boxed up for us the next day to come and pick up so that we didn't have to worry about doing it that night. Jessica went above and beyond with helping us make that night more than amazing. She made everything that night feel beyond magical. I would highly recommend anyone to work with Jessica at the Golden Glow for any type of event.

I absolutely loved working with Jessica and the rest of the Golden Glow staff. They were so helpful and always so positive. No matter what kind of question we had, they had a quick answer and were willing to work with us on everything. Words can not express how much we loved having or wedding at Golden Glow! They are all simply amazing!! From paying attention to every detail to making sure everyone was taken care of. From the first time we meet everyone there we knew we just had to have our wedding there and fell in love with the venue and everyone who worked there. We had a great experience with Golden Glow Sept 15, 2018!!!!
From the coordinator Jess originally talking to me late at night on facebook trying to get a consult started, that showed me dedication. She made everything extremely smooth and great!! She was always available when I had a question and always answered. She was so, so amazing to work with.
When we had our food tasting there, my husband is very picky and always adds things to foods. Well Maria, a cook there, was a ROCKSTAR! He wanted to have egg put in the macaroni salad so she literally brought him a huge bowl of macaroni salad on our wedding day with egg in it, specifically for him!!!!! We were sort of bummed out the beef tips we had for one of our 2 entrees ran out before the first line of guests go through to eat, but they did have a back up of ham. my husband was bummed he couldn't get more beef tips which was his favorite of all the food we had picked. The food was beyond amazing and we are still getting compliments about the food!!!!
The decor we used, the photo booth we got for free, the staff the night of our wedding, EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!!!! We had such a great experience with everything at Golden Glow!!!! They made our reception so beautiful and it ran so smoothly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience!!!!

The Golden Glow is a one-stop shop at a beautiful venue. Not only does the Golden Glow have almost everything you’d need for your reception (ceremony sites (inside and outside), centerpiece items, linens, etc.), but the food is so good too! Jessica and her team at the Golden Glow made sure our day was exactly what we envisioned and I would be happy to recommend this venue for anyone in the mid-Michigan area looking for the perfect wedding location!

The wedding coordinator, Jessica, was such a joy to work with! We switched our date 3 months prior and she was so accommodating in getting everything in order. We had a bit of a slip-up with the linens (the wrong color were ironed and set out for us to use) the day before while setting up, but she was extremely willing to help and get everything figured out. I highly recommend using The Glow for your special day!

We truly can not recommend the Golden Glow enough. Jessica was extremely helpful and flexible with everything we needed and requested. It looked exactly how I imagined it would and we received so many compliments on how beautiful it was. It was everything I hoped for! The staff working that night were very helpful and friendly. We also heard a lot of compliments on how great the food tasted, and we agree! The pricing is very reasonable and we were so pleased with the results. It truly was an incredible night for us and we couldn’t imagine it being better.

Jessica is an absolute GEM! I instantly fell in love with the ballroom & her! It was my first place I looked at & the only place! Jessica makes you feel like you are more than just a dollar sign, she makes you feel like you're family! I even wanted to ask her to be one of my bridesmaids after meeting her for the first time! She makes the entire experience worth it! She goes above & beyond to make sure your day is perfect & exactly what you dreamed it would be. This venue is probably the best around- when you add in Jessica's customer service, you can't get it anywhere else!

Simply stellar! I made lasting friendships with the staff at the Glow! I never felt like a client but as a friend and family! I was so excited for my big day and to have everyone at the Glow to be apart of it as they worked as hard as I did to make it perfect! Jessica, Jacob and Maria are absolutely amazing!! Our wedding turned out more than amazing, words honestly could not describe it! Jessica was such a tremendous help, especially since I was transitioning out of the Army and in Texas the whole time I was planning a Michigan wedding! She was always more than willing to help me when my endless amounts of questions being so far away. My wedding party and both sides of the family were very pleased with how everything turned out!

My husband and I had our wedding at the Glow this past October. Everything was beautiful and perfect! Jessica the event coordinator honestly went above and beyond in every aspect. Our wedding night would have not been the same without her. I recommend this venue not just because it is amazing and gorgeous but mostly because of the very helpful staff.

From the first meeting to the last pick up of forgotten items, the experience was awesome. The event itself was stress free, the decorations and set up beautiful, the staff and service excellent. The food, from the the hor dourves to the late night pizza, was superb. The extra attention to the bride and groom as well as my 7 year old grandson was exceptional. They were treated like royalty.

On many of these catergories I would have happily given more than a 5 out of 5! The team at Golden Glow is truly exceptional! They always quickly responded to our questions and requests and worked with us above and beyond what we expected. The venue is warm, inviting and beautiful, but part of what make it so special for us was that the staff genuinely shared in the delight and happiness of our special day and expressed their sincere want in making sure it was absolutely perfect for us. Jessica, the event coordinator, feels like family to us now - she’s amazing! We couldn’t have chosen a better venue, no question. I would recommend Golden Glow in a heartbeat!

What an awesome place! Not only is the glow a beautiful place, but the staff there is out of this world! Working with Jess was such an amazing experience... She did everything we asked for and more! The food was great and so was the cake! I am so so so happy we chose the Glow and I would recommend it to anybody!!!

The Golden Glow Ballroom was absolutely amazing! They were good priced and were very quick to help my now husband and i on our special day! We wouldn't have changed a thing! They are also a one-stop-shop, and made planning so much easier

My wife and I were married at the Golden Glow Ballroom on 9/2/17. I have nothing but good things to say about the way our event was run. A wedding day can be stressful and the biggest issue we ran into was forgetting a pen for the guest book. I call that a perfect day. The facility is beautiful and clean. Anything that we needed was available on demand and any "mishaps" (and they did happen) were handled so well that we weren't even aware of them until several days later. The food was phenomenal and staff was friendly, attentive to everyone's wants and needs, and readily available for anyone's request. Ed ran the show for us during the reception and I have nothing but good things to say about this man. Again I cannot believe how well everything was set up and any issues that arose were handled so quickly and discreetly that we never noticed. I would recommend this facility any day of the week.

The Golden Glow is a great option for a reception and/or ceremony! It's a very nice facility with fantastic chefs. Go to one of the complimentary wedding showcases to taste the food, and you'll see how good their food is. The facility can host several weddings during the same time slot because of multiple ballrooms and entrances. The event coordinator, Jessica, is very helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly for set up and the reception. The outdoor Glow Garden was available during our reception, so we were able to use that space for taking family photos. Golden Glow's prices are definitely a great value, too! My only wish is that they offered rental of Chiavari chairs (or had a recommended company that did), or had banquet chairs in a more neutral color than maroon and gold. Chair covers and sashes are available for rental, but I did not want chair covers.

The staff at the Golden Glow were amazing right from the start. They are very flexible while working with the bride and groom--they just wanted to make sure we were happy with every detail of our special day. I don't really have anything to complain about, apart from the fact that the last invoice came in only a couple days before the wedding and that large payment was due the next day.
People raved about the food at our wedding, especially the green beans. I only wish that I had more time to eat, but the bride is always busy busy.
Our DJ Jeff was also through them and he did an awesome job! He kept people (including my husband and I) on the dance floor all night long. He was very interactive with the audience, but not in an annoying way. In fact, he even got the crowd to get the bartenders out there dancing with us.
Which brings me to my next point, the bartenders were also great. They were friendly, and people seemed to really enjoy the drinks they made ;) In fact, my stepfather was highly complimentary about them.
I don't want to make this too long, so I'll end it there. If anyone is looking for the perfect venue for their wedding and/or ceremony, go see Ryan at the Glow because you will NOT regret it!

Phenomenal!
They allowed us to create our own meal that was different from their listed options to choose from, were very easy to work with, and were the perfect space for our wedding! So glad we were able to take advantage of their winter value dates and get some discounts!

The Golden Glow was very easy to work with, organized, and classy along with a beautiful area to have the ceremony outside or inside as well as a spacious venue for the reception. The wedding coordinator Jessica did a fabulous job keeping everything running seamlessly!

The food was fantastic, our bartender was phenomenal we never had to sit and ask him for a drink, he would see us walking up and have it ready for us as we got to the bar. Our wedding planner Jessica was great to work with and made it easy for planning our ceremony and dinner, if we ever had a question either she would answer our call or call us back shortly after we tried calling or texting her. The venue was great for the price as well.

They were very nice during the whole planning. We got so many compliments on the food and the beautiful hall. The staff and bartenders were great the whole reception. We did the beer and wine option and because there was so much beer or wine options to chose from guests didn't mind there was no liquor. I have a few relatives with sensitive stomachs so they even made special things not on the regular buffet offerings for them. Their pastry chef was so great about baking us the cupcakes we wanted. They helped me keep a special kind of cupcake my husband wanted a secret (bacon maple) and brought a tray of a dozen of them to the head table so he could have the first ones and share them with the whoever he picked. He was so thrilled when he saw the cupcakes.
Really liked having a private bathroom for the wedding party.
We also rented their photo booth and guests loved it and were lined up to use 15 minutes before it opened and were using it till the end. My husband and I were dragged in there a few times with people eager to get a funny picture with the bride and groom. It was a lot of fun.

The food was amazing (alteast that's what I was told by the guests - I was to busy to eat). The dance floor needs a little improvement, kind of small and there was a slight odor issue with the private bride room facility. If that is corrected it is the absolute BEST place for an event if you are getting married in Saginaw County.

Over all it was a beautiful venue the staff was very helpful, courteous, and friendly. Jess was very helpful and was always there to answer questions immediately. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is getting married in the tri cities.

They served the wrong beer. 1/2 of my guests at the reception said their food was cold. I was soooo happy with one of the hostess who played games with my son when he was getting tired and wanted to go home. She really calmed him down and made him feel special. The owner and his son are very rude people. They thought because I was getting a good deal they could push me around and not give me when I had paid for. I am very angry with them. They like to raise their voices at their customers. I will say the building is very nice and the food tasted good even if it was cold.
