We got married on 4/4/26 at Lovegrove Estate and used Goldbug Events for our wedding planning. We picked the Bumblebee limited wedding planning option and it was perfect for us as we had chosen our vendors but needed help tying up loose ends the month before the wedding. Caroline Atkinson was our planner/wedding coordinator and she was an absolute dream! She started assisting about a month to month and a half prior to our wedding day and was such a huge help. She scheduled video calls with us to go over our vision, timeline, layouts, etc. She is very organized and we utilized a google drive to keep all contracts, invoices, decor, and all wedding information organized. She was always available, promptly assisting us with any questions or concerns we had. Goldbug also has a decor list of things you can borrow for your big day which was super helpful!. It was such a relief not having to answer 100 emails a week in the weeks leading up to our wedding and having assistance with communication. She helped our rehearsal run smooth and made sure everyone felt confident with their roles and walking order. On the wedding day, she kept everything perfectly on track with a calm vibe that made everyone feel relaxed for the day. She and her assistant made sure every detail that I envisioned was executed and I could not have had a more chill and perfect wedding day. There are not enough ways to thank her and Goldbug Events enough and I seriously could not recommend them more!! -

Caroline from GBE was amazing! There was so much background work done that I didn’t even probably realize needed to be thought about or done, which made for a stress free afternoon/evening! Leading up to the event she was always available via text or email to help my mom and I with anything we needed. Everything at our wedding went as smooth as it possibly could! She kept my husband and I fed and always a drink in our hand! GBE really goes the extra mile providing various things to borrow ie reserved seat signs, cupcake holders, and she saved the day when I needed Bobby pins for a windy ceremony! She also talked me off the ledge when I wanted to cut out my build in pads of my dress 10 minutes before the ceremony 😂 . These gals are the way to go if you are looking for extra support on your big day! 🤍🥂 -

I contacted Caroline at Goldbug Events when my daughter and her fiancé decided they wanted to get married in Charleston. We lived in North Carolina so having someone in Charleston to help us with the wedding planning was needed. We hired Goldbug for partial planning. Caroline was there for us from day one of planning until we were all packed up at the end of the wedding night. She was so attentive to the details, recommended vendors and kept us on track during the year. She is so sweet and was always quick to respond to emails and answering any questions we had. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistants worked tirelessly to make sure every detail was carried out. I didn’t have to worry about anything and could mingle with the guests and focus on celebrating with my daughter and her new husband. We started with a wedding planner and ended up with a sweet friend. I highly recommend Goldbug Events for wedding planning! You will not regret it! -

Caroline Atkinson was my lead planner and she did an amazing job! She was so easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it to be. She was always quick to respond and she was very organized. Highly recommend her and her team!!! -

Absolutely wonderful to work with. Personalities and work ethics were professional, calming and yet very productive and efficient. The welcome packet with all the recommendations for vendors was extremely helpful. Once we made the decisions of which vendors to go with and sharing what we wanted Goldbug took over dealing with the logistics, details, and communication. The whole day ran smoothly and went better than I could have imagined. The flowers were stunning and so well done! Absolutely loved my bouquet! When we walked into the reception our planner immediately offered us an app plate and drink. The planner continued to check in on how we were doing, if we needed anything, kept things flowing. Again, the whole wedding was such a dream come true and went seamlessly from beginning to end. -

I don’t even know where to begin with how pleased we were with Goldbug Events. Both Caroline Montieth, the owner, and our lead planner, Caroline Atkinson, were professional, personable, knowledgeable and extremely responsive.
Their guidance, vendor recommendation and planning guide made the planning process so smooth, stress free and enjoyable. We could not have been happier with the vendors we chose (most of which were recommended from Caroline!). All of our vendors also told us how much they enjoy working with Goldbug Events!
I was so at ease going into our wedding day because I knew I was in the best hands. Our ceremony and reception were PERFECT because of Caroline A’s close attention to detail, planning and execution. Her assistant, Abigail, was amazing too and met every need we had throughout the day.
You will not regret choosing the Goldbug team to plan your big day!!

A must for the perfect wedding!!!
Upon my first meeting with Caroline I knew she was the person to trust with our special day! We chose the full planning package and had the pleasure of Caroline's expertise and support throughout the entire planning process. Caroline was extremely accessible during the planning process and came to every meeting prepared to discuss all details. She provided us with wonderful vendors to choose from for everything from flowers to tents to hair and makeup. Our wedding day was PERFECTION thanks to Caroline and her team. We had a challenging venue to design and manage on wedding day and Caroline made the transitions throughout evening absolutely seamless. So many friends and family commented on how seamless the night was and how amazing and detail oriented our wedding planner must've been! Caroline handled everything behind the scenes on wedding day which made it easy to not be stressed and to focus on the joy of the day! Caroline came prepared for every possible emergency on the day of including mending my husband's bow tie before photos and even helping to perfect my complicated dress bustle. If you're looking for a stress-free wedding planning process and day of I highly highly highly recommend Caroline. She was truly exceptional and instrumental in our dream wedding day!! -

Where do I even start to put into words how thankful I am for Goldbug Events!!! I connected with Caroline early on in the wedding planning process and knew she was the one I wanted to trust with our special day. She is truly made to work in the wedding business. Her attention to detail, organization, communication and no-nonsense attitude is exactly what we needed to get our plans in gear for the big day. Prior to wedding day, she worked religiously to iron out all of the details that I didn't even realize needed to be done! I never once doubt everything going to plan because I knew Goldbug had put in the work ahead of time to make sure our day would be seamless. And it was that and so much more. Caroline was even able to put my mom's mind at ease and she was more nervous/anxious about the big day than I was! I never once had to think about the little behind the scenes details on wedding day-everything was just done. I will forever be singing Caroline & Goldbug Events' praises. Because of them, we will forever have the most treasured memories of our wedding day. If you are looking for any level of planning (partial to full), you have found the right people for the job. -

Great customer service and very professional
I highly recommend Goldbug Events / Caroline Fraylick and her team for your wedding planner. She was so professional and personable. Since we had little experience with planning such a big event (200 people), she asked what we wanted for the special day and she walked us thru the whole planning process. She clarified what we needed to do and by when and what she and her team would do so we didn’t have to worry. Everything was organized and decorated beyond how we envisioned for our daughter’s wedding held at Hibernian Hall. Caroline has a great relationship with all our vendors and was able to coordinate all our requests. My friends and family commented how a great wedding planner she is and we totally agree. I would recommend Goldbug Events for any and all events you have. -

Caroline was hired for our "day of coordinator." For the months before the wedding, she communicated well and was kept up to date. We met for our "walk thru" and I knew that we were in great hands for our wedding. She was personable, confident, reliable and very affordable. I was able to relax the entire day, knowing everything was in her hands. She followed all of our instructions. The set up of the chapel and the venue for the reception were absolutely perfect. In addition, she packed up everything nicely for my brother and sister-in-law to return to us the next day. I highly recommend Caroline for a coordinator. I appreciate her dedication to provide us w/ lasting memories of our special day. -

Wonderful!
Caroline was absolutely amazing to work with! Very prompt and professional. We had a smaller / more intimate wedding so we went with the beetle day of coordination package and it was perfect for what we needed. She went above and beyond for us and was extremely helpful. Her “decor closet” had anything and everything we could’ve wanted - all included in the package price! Saved us a lot of time searching around for things like signage and table decor.
Goldbug truly exceeded all expectations. -

Caroline was absolutely fantastic! I have been in meeting/event planning for many years so I would never have gotten a planner on my own but LUCKILY I was required to have a day-of planner at Merchants Hall. I say luckily because I had no idea how valuable she could be! She was so organized and took things off my plate so that I could enjoy the day. She handled everything the day-of and I had not one worry in the world. She also helped greatly with wrapping -up the last minute planning which is always the most difficult, communicating with all vendors, creating an outstanding timeline. I did not receive one call on the day of my wedding from any vendors... pretty impressive! Caroline has a gentle, clam, reassuring demeanor that makes you feel comfortable and safe in trusting her with your biggest day. I had a very quick flip of the room and she did an amazing, seamless job of making that work! I would not only recommend her but tell you to contact her right away!! -

Don't Think Just Book
I met with a few wedding planners and Caroline with Goldbug events and I just clicked. My vison for my wedding was very specific and she understood it and executed it flawlessly. Any time I had an emergency she was there to fix it and had it taken care of within minutes. I had some miscommunication with a vendor that resulted in me needing to find another within 2 days and once Caroline was aware of the issue, within an hour she had multiple options for me and the vendor we got was absolutely accommodating and amazing. Any time an issue came up, she was there to calm me down and assure me it was fine and it was. She is organized, connected and a great communicator. She has a great way of presenting ideas that are helpful and not overwhelming. My wedding was every single thing I wanted and more and it would not have been as successful as it was without her. Wedding planning should be fun and something to be looked forwarded too and with Goldbug events, that’s what you get. -
