Alexandra was the best wedding planner we could ever think of. She helped us plan every detail and was completely available for calls, emails, and messages in what I will call after office hours. My husband and I felt very special counting with her on our wedding day, she made sure everything happened flawlessly and every detail we planned showed up. Alex made the process of getting married in Santorini but living in the United States such a smooth process! We were so nervous to have such an important event without living in the same country to scout out the vendors and the venue. She was extremely accommodating with every detail, willing to come up with other options when we had a different vision than her first recommendation, and even set us up with a next-day brunch celebration! If we could do it all over again we absolutely would! Alex and her assistant provided 'day of' services for my niece's wedding earlier this month. I am from the U.K., where such services are not often used. In my opinion, this service was excellent! I know weddings all have their hiccups, but I can honestly say that our wedding day went off without a hitch. Alexandra was amazing at organizing everything, including activities before and after the wedding, dinner reservations for when we were just visiting, she truly went above and beyond.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to have Alexandra help plan the wedding of our dreams! Not being able to see venues in person, try food, scope DJs, etc. may be uncomfortable when that’s all out of your control so it’s important to have someone you can trust and rely on. I choose the full package that included a videographer, photographer, hair, makeup, etc. and it was worth every penny! She not only helped plan our wedding day but offered assistance in booking dinner reservations before and our beach party the day after as well. Alexandra always made us feel at ease while still offering her honest opinions. She truly exceeded all our expectations!! The wedding day itself was absolutely perfect (really not one thing went wrong) but was even better was hearing all our guests thank us for planning the trip of a lifetime! They were so appreciative of everything and still can’t stop talking about it being the best wedding and experience of their lives, which means the world to us. She crafted memories we’ll always cherish, and I will be forever thankful for that. HUGE thank you to the `Gold weddings team!!! The service that we received from Gold Weddings was incredible. Initial contact through their website, then we flew to Italy and they showed us 6 venues... We chose a venue and the planning began. Frustratingly, COVID then hit. Alex and team worked with us and the venue to move the date twice. They reassured us as much as they could that the wedding would eventually go ahead... and it did. We got married in last week at a gorgeous villa in Lake Como . Gold Weddings made all the supplier recommendations and would find anything extra that we asked for. They made all the arrangements and bookings. We flew over again for food tastings, hair trial and to meet our celebrant etc. (that was a fun trip!). Then, on the day itself, they took care of everything (timings, guest arrivals etc.) and ensured that everything ran smoothly. I never thought too much about weddings, I just wanted to have a great party. So having Gold Weddings take care of all the admin was SO good. They're extremely reasonably priced as well. If you are thinking about getting married abroad in Italy, then I highly recommend Gold Weddings. We live in London and could not have planned our destination wedding without them

Gold Weddings Santorini were fantastic and I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a planner to GET IN TOUCH. Don’t hesitate as they have it all under control! I really didn’t feel I was planning a wedding abroad due to having Alexandra making me feel at ease all the time.
We wanted to marry in Santorini and Alexandra was on hand from the beginning of the ‘thinking about stage’, to recommending venues, all the way through deliberating the smallest of details and ensuring our wedding day was perfect.
Nothing was ever a problem and she always provided good, honest advice and got us the best deals possible with suppliers to keep within budget.
Alexandra was so easy to communicate with. We did this via telephone calls but mostly in WhatsApp chats. She was on hand at all times and responded to all my questions very quickly.
A lot of other brides talked of their planners not responding or taking a while. This was not the case with Alexandra. She made everything so easy and flawless and if I’m honest, made me feel so chilled and relaxed, even when she did all the rearranging of our wedding date with suppliers, due to covid postponing our wedding for a year. Nothing was ever a problem and Alexandra supported us through all of this, having everything under control with an eye for small details on my big day. She set up all tables and accessories and made it look beautiful.
I really found it easy to put my trust in her and everything worked out perfect. Our special day was more than we could have ever of dreamed of and we can’t thank Gold Wedding Santorini enough for this. Alexandra you really are amazing and such a lovely person!!
Don’t hesitate to book as your planner, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Our perfect wedding
If you are in need of a wedding coordinator, look no further. We live in Chicago and could not visit Greece prior to our wedding due to the pandemic. Over the last 2 years, Alexandra helped us book and coordinate every aspect of our wedding. No detail was too small to be overlooked and our every request was granted.
With her expertise, we booked the BEST venue, photo & video, DJ, hair, makeup, flowers, and more. We talked over Zoom, WhatsApp, and email. She coordinated all contracts, deposits, and final payments. Alexandra met with us twice before the wedding and even arranged a walkthrough of our venue the day prior to meet with venue staff. She set up our table numbers, favors, menus, etc. She kept us on schedule the day of and made sure everything on our timeline was completed. She even set up a Zoom link so our family back home could watch our ceremony. We cannot recommend her services enough!

Alexandra has been incredible from start to finish helping us to make our dream wedding in Santorini a reality. When we had to postpone our original date in 2020 due to the pandemic she was there every step of the way. She changed everything over to our new date seamlessly and took all that added stress off our shoulders. Finally this year we were able to have our perfect day at Santorini Gem and Alexandra planned everything to the letter. It really was the most amazing day and worth the wait to get there. I cannot recommend her enough, as well as being an excellent wedding planner she is a kind and genuinely lovely person.

I can't say enough great things about this wedding planning company! They went above and beyond with helping to plan our wedding and execute it the day of. Since my husband and I chose to have our wedding at our property, there was a lot of logistics that went into the planning. Alex and her team really pulled through with decor, tent set up, creating a satellite kitchen, and even valet parking to ensure effortless entry for our guests. They also had great suggestions and vendors that they could recommend, which took a load off from reading a million reviews my self.

Hey Guys!!I wanted to share my review with you all of my Italian wedding!I could not have imagined my wedding day without Alexandra and her team . I am very particular person and tend to micromanage everything. Before I met Alex, the thought of putting my wedding into the hands of someone else was terrifying to me. My biggest fear was that I would not be able to “let go” and actually enjoy my wedding day.But the team was perfect on the actual wedding day so I let my hair down and had the best day ever.

Alex is a phenomenal proposal planner. I shared my vision on how I wanted to propose to my now fiancée and she not only brought it to life, but made it into something truly incredible and beyond my wildest imagination. The pictures came out amazing and her emphasis to detail, creativity and professionalism all allowed me to live in the moment without having to worry about anything. We planned our wedding from abroad, and hiring Gold was the best decision we made! We ggot married at Lake Como in Italy .All our vendors were recommended by them and we were happy with all of them. When we first contacted Gold we worked with Alex, who made us feel like we really could plan a perfect day.Alex was available to answer our questions before the month of, and the month of the wedding they handled everything. Our coordinator was beyond amazing. Anytime we were feeling stressed talking to her would calm all our worries! When unforeseen last-minute issues popped up, she handled them seamlessly. Our wedding was better than we ever imagined, and it couldn’t have happened without them. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

The most professional and experienced wedding planners, with incredible commitment to make our wedding a memorable and smooth experience. These guys put in all the effort to make your vision and dreams come true. Developing a fort structure is not easy task. But they did. A royal wedding with all grand entry, Everything was perfect.Literally every member of the team tirelessly worked throughout our wedding to ensure that everything follows through perfectly. Everything was picture perfect and beyond what we had dreamt it to be.. Throughout the wedding planning process, the team was so flexible and easy to work with. Working from two different countries was no hurdle and in fact communication was a breeze. The team were the perfect guides which is what we needed, gave their honest opinions when we got carried away and never afraid to suggest innovative ideas. What more could you ask for! Fast forward to the wedding time, and we were absolutely blown away. From the airport pick up to drop off, every event was executed to perfection. Nothing was too much to ask for and the entire team was so proactive.

We met various wedding planners in Santorini 2 years ago and to be honest, with Alexandra we both immediately had a good feeling. Our wedding was scheduled this year but due to Covid it has been postponed to 2021. Alexandra was so helpful and responsive during this period. She rescheduled everything so smoothly! Alexandra is such a professional. I don't know what I would've done without her. She was kind and very helpful. She was able to make sure everything ran on time and that everyone was at the right place at the right time. Many of our guests were pleased with her services and were giving her praises after the wedding. In my opinion, hiring a wedding planner is the most important thing a bride should do. I have a friend who is getting married next year and I will definitely tell her to use Gold weddings for her planning services.

Alexandra from Gold weddings was FANTASTIC. Please work with her if she’s available for your date. If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator at all, I highly encourage you to talk to her. We originally wanted just a day of coordinator (required by our venue) but we loved her so much from the get go, I ended up getting extra month of services plus additional advisory by the hour. My now-husband and I had a fairly good handle on organizing things but just having Alex for peace of mind and experienced guidance made an enormous amount of difference. Alex kept her warm, kind, and positive attitude all throughout the process and was a calming voice of reason for our million questions. If you want a coordinator whom you can just trust implicitly to help make sure things get done – work with Alex.

The services provided by Alexandra from Gold Weddings are simply amazing! I contacted her a year ago asking her for help with the legalities around our wedding as we were on a tight budget, but she did so much more and exceeded all of our expectations to a whole new level! She singlehandedly helped us finding the best rates and provided us with so much help and even kindly offered us her help in decorating our reception area! Alexandra is not just someone that you hire to do a job, she is your friend on the island and do everything in her power to negotiate your ideas and interests. She also helped us find some amazing places when we were there where we had the best food far away from all the mass crowds of tourists. Highly recommend her services by both me and my wife!

Friendly and helpful
Myself and my partner decided to get married in Santorini and initially found it difficult to pick a planner. After reading many reviews we decided to go with Gold Weddings and they didn't disappoint.
Alexandra was relaxing and calming throughout. She reassured us and took away a lot of the doubts and worries about getting married abroad.
As soon as we met her, we were at ease. Alexandra is very knowledgeable and knows Santorini extremely well. We were offered advise on trips, restaurants and places to visit. She is very quick at responding to messages and questions and even organised flowers for us a couple of days before the wedding.
We had an amazing day and definitely have Alexandra to thank for this.
I would highly recommend her.

The Best wedding planning company!
The team was just fantastic, they took care of everything from documentation to the set up. It was seamless. Just as advertised, highly recommended. With the wonderful weather, it all culminated in a perfect wedding by the sea.

Dreamy & stress free experience
Alexandra was so patient in answering all of my questions (I had quite a few). I wasn’t sure what to expect because destination weddings require you to put a lot of faith in someone else. Choosing Alexandra was the best decision I could’ve made. Everything was seamlessly coordinated from transportation, to flowers, cake, and photography. She even volunteered to coordinate dinner reservations and added videography to our package at the last minute. I was blown away by how seamless the wedding day was. It was absolutely beautiful and all of the vendors she provided exceeded my expectations. She was so reassuring and professional throughout the process. Alexandra customized everything for our wedding and choosing her services was the best decision I’ve made in a very long time.

Alexandra was great! She has such a friendly personality. The hairdresser, makeup artist, and florist she uses are also really good. We got married in Santorini on 18/6/19 at Le Ciel. The venue and the day itself was amazing and this would not have been the case if it wasnt for Alexandra and her team. We first got in contact with Alexandra over 3 years ago and in that time she has been nothing but totally professional. She is very responsive to emails and messages and was never totaly satisfied until we was happy, there was never enough she could do to help. Her knowledge of the island and expert eye for even the smallest things in next to none. Alexandra was very unwell on our wedding day and had to leave to go Hospital but she made sure she returned after to ensure everything was as it should be and was constantly on the end of the phone to her assistant throughout the day.

Alexandra was an absolute life saver throughout the entire planning process and even more so on the day of the wedding! I tend to like control over everything and Alexandra allowed that but also took care of things that I didn't even know about! From finding a doctor, to finding a cake cutter, to sweeping broken glass off the dance floor.. she was everything we wanted/needed and then some!! I can’t even tell you how wonderful and amazing Alexandra is! I met her 2 years ago when she took me and my fiancé venue shopping. We looked at the ones on our list but she could tell they weren’t what we were expecting and she happily took us to the Santorini Gem! And we absolutely loved it!
We had a pretty big destination wedding of 64 people! All from USA. It was pretty stressful having to plan a destination wedding with such a large party but Alexandra made it so perfect. All of her suggestions and most of all advice was so useful.
I can be a bridezilla for sure but Alexandra helped make things so perfect and flow just right. Even when we had some hiccups she made sure to communicate with us in every way. Her team set up all the decor that I brought and throughout the whole things she kept me updated.
Our wedding day was absolutely amazing. Throughout the stress and the tiredness the day was just great!
I loved our wedding so much! Alexandra you have done absolutely the best! For the past two years of us communicating it has been hard since we are both from different sides of the world but you always replied to me when I needed you.
She is professional, prompt. But also someone you can talk to about anything.

Our experience with Gold weddings team was absolutely perfect from start to finish!
Me and my now wife are from the UK and after looking into weddings locally we found that the cost was just outrageous, this is when we decided on a small private wedding in Santorini! The price we were quoted was a fraction of anything we had looked at previously and let me tell you the value we received was excellent!
We had never travelled to Greece at all before but Alex answered every question we threw at her never waiting more than a day to receive a reply, literally nothing is too much trouble for this woman and we are truly grateful for the experience we were given and will never forget it! From the wedding planning to the photography, the professionalism and quality is brilliant.
We highly recommend this company for all of your wedding needs and trust me out pictures are out of this world!

Alex, responded quickly to our texts, e-mails and phone calls. She listened carefully, asked detailed questions and confirmed replies on issues, both big and small. She also had a great rapport with the caterer, the photographer and the DJ which helped things run smoothly.
On the big day, Alexandra orchestrated the event like a maestro. Her experience was apparent, and her professionalism shined through.
