Jose and his team were awesome to work with! We had an Indian-American fusion wedding with multiple days of events and Jose shot video for both our Sangeet on Saturday and the Wedding on Sunday. Jose brought a drone, he had multiple people shooting with handhelds and also set up a few cameras. He captured the key moments of the wedding and even more candids from dancing, getting ready, guests arriving, and more. During our golden hour shoot he was even on a hoverboard taking shots of us! Would definitely work with Jose again he's such a cool guy and I can't wait to see how everything turns out. -

Godinez Films was a great find for us. We are so glad that Jose and his brother came and covered our wedding. They were very responsive, kind, and respectful. My wedding planner also said he responded to texts, communicated well, listened to directions that would help direct the wedding vision, and worked with well with other vendors. Jose also stood out because of his good and enthusiastic attitude. It is so important to have a good attitude when weddings are really stressful. Jose had a grounding and calming presence, which I can't say all vendors are like that.
They were timely with their product and worked with me on the preview. He was very communicative while he worked on the product.
We also had a corgi (who loves to bark) to incorporate as our guest of honor. At our wedding, Jose stood out as being the the vendor who worked best with our dog. He didn't flinch at all when my corgi was just being a dog. If Ube barked or didn't act perfectly, Jose did not have a problem with this. He seemed genuinely enthusiastic that Ube was a part of our wedding. He was able to capture a few special moments with our dog. Our highlight video made me tear up that he caught Ube looking at us when we were walking. I honestly wish we had set more time aside with Jose for capturing private moments with our dog and portrait style videography of solo shots of the bride/veil and groom. (Please note, only didn't get this because I did not set aside time and had a difficult photographer). So some tips for folks to make sure to set aside time in their timeline for this.
Also with the package we got, Jose was able to capture a lot of the dancing magic with friends. I know weddings are about the couple, but it is also about the people who came to celebrate. I want to remember and spend time with everyone, that's why I invited them. He had a really fun reception video where he shared a lot of that dance floor vibe and energy. Once you're an adult, it's hard to have those fun parties with everyone you love, he was able to capture the moments that'll last for all of us - couple, friends and family.
Unrelated PSA for any couples reading this: remember to practice standing straight! Think of pulling in your torso straight up (rather than your shoulders) - hope that tip works - I ended up slouching despite keeping my shoulders 'as straight as possible.'
Anyways, my husband and I both highly recommend Godinez Films - give them a chance to capture your magic, you won't regret it. -

We decided somewhat last minute that we wanted our day captured on video after all, and Jose made it happen! My wedding planner had tagged him in a post, so I asked her about him and she highly recommended hiring him. He was so fun to be around day of the, made us very comfortable, and got along great with the photographer and rest of the team! We barely noticed he was there a lot of the time but he captured every key moment. Oh, and before the wedding he was very responsive to our ideas over email.

Jose Godinez and Nadeen Sparks (photographer) are an excellent team and have YEARS of experience under their belt. They knew all the shots they had to get, the different angles they needed, and were always open to any and all ideas we had. I know there was a lot going on (especially with 400 guests!) But I couldn't be happier with my team. They overcame all obstacles, and I cannot wait to see the final product! Thanks again, for everything Jose and Nadeen! -

Phenomenal
We had the BEST experience hiring Jose as the videographer for our wedding. He incorporated every single detail we had in mind. He also threw in ideas of his own that we appreciated & loved. He was very generous & kind in helping us find & narrow places of where we wanted to take pictures. It’s safe to say wedding planning can be a bit stressful. But Jose truly made this part of our wedding the smoothest task ever. As a person he is great, such a lively person. His work speaks volumes! -

There are literally no words to describe how grateful I am to have worked with Jose Godinez. I originally had hired another videographer to shoot our wedding... However, the day of our wedding she canceled on us (I was so upset) … But luckily, she gave me Jose’s number. Jose and his team SAVED THE DAY! Jose was extremely accommodating by honoring the same rate as our previous videographer. Jose is professional and prompt with responses and super creative. I was absolutely honored to have him play such a large role in my wedding. I can't recommend him enough! -
