We initially saw The GOD Squad featured on a network morning television show, and learned that they have a location here, locally.
After hearing recommendations from our vendors, and doing plenty of research, we decided on The God Squad as our wedding officiant. From the time I contacted them, until my wedding day, they were quick to respond, answered all my questions and went above and beyond in helping us plan our beautiful ceremony. Our minister was great, and very professional. He made us feel like we've known him for years. We couldn't be more pleased with deciding on The God Squad.

Beyond our expectations

GodSquad is doing the Lord's Work!
I am completely in awe with the GodSquad. The entire process was extremely stress free and informative. From the onset I was impressed by the scheduling which was very efficient and hassle free. Father Ken made sure I understood all what was required for our special day as well as the documents and pricing. Father Ken's expertise saved me so much time because I avoided having to ask the Shelby County Clerk's office questions and wait for basic information. On the day of our ceremony, me and my family were welcomed and had a great time as we tied the knot. Mrs. Carol was so nice and felt just like family, she made sure to take the best shots and not rush through the picture process. She was extremely detailed and made sure every memory captured was breathtaking. The team was punctual and ready to serve us, we arrived a few minutes early and were welcomed in to begin the process. Overall, such an amazing experience and I'm so blessed that I chose the GOD Squad to assist me in bringing in my big day.

Thank you so much for everything! Reverend Norma did an excellent job. She was patient with us as everything that could go wrong before the wedding happened and the bride was late. The service was heartfelt and eloquent. I don't really know what I was expecting when we requested a bilingual service, perhaps someone with my limited Spanish skills. However, Reverend Norma spoke fluently and transitioned smoothly from English to Spanish and back to English.

Non religious ceremony
Everything was great with Father Ken in terms of directing us and putting us at ease with how the ceremony would run and telling us where to be. However, we were very surprised when we had requested and agreed to a non religious ceremony, but Father Ken started quoting scripture while we were at the altar in the middle of the ceremony.

I honestly cannot thank these guys enough helped me arrange the perfect setting for my elvis crazy momma the gates of Graceland !!! Our experience was perfect!
David Poland was our officiant and he was excellent! We met beforehand and had a great
time learning some things about him and his wife. He was there for our rehearsal and was so much fun! The day of the wedding was a beautiful day and he made my day so much easier

Larry did a great job! I think he had a busy day because he was in and out very quickly. I didn't get to say thank you! But he was kind and did a great job speaking in English and Spanish. He's got the accent down! We were nervous but he walked us through everything.

A Wonderful Experience!
We were in a jam at the last minute and contacted the GOD Squad about hiring an officiant for our wedding. They responded quickly and put us in contact with Brother David, who was extremely friendly and professional. He performed a beautiful ceremony and even came to our rehearsal. God Squad Wedding Ministers were so easy to work with! They had so many amazing reviews, that made it hard to look past them. From our first phone call, I knew we were in good hands. It was very easy to get our date scheduled, and I was worried that we were booking a little late! Right away, I was sent a script of what our wedding ceremony would look like and to discuss any changes that would need to be made. It was perfect! Short and sweet!
We did have a change in who would be officiating our ceremony a couple of months out, but were informed immediately. Reverend Norman Bradfield was so kind as to personally reach out to us to introduce himself and to get our correct script so we were on the same page. Everyone was so impressed with him. So many of our guests complimented his work!
I would highly recommend them for your ceremony!

It was Great!

From KC to Nashville - God Squad was the right choice
We are from Kansas City but wanted a wedding in Nashville. We didn’t know anyone that could marry us in Nashville, so we searched the internet and found The God Squad. I must admit the name drew me in. So, I went to the site and put my information in and the same day I was contacted by someone from the squad. We were connected with a minister by the name of David Harbison. He promptly sent my fiancé and I an email and wanted to see if we would be available for a call. He took the time at the beginning of the call for him get to know us and asked questions about us. We really enjoyed our conversation and felt very comfortable with who was going to perform our ceremony and could tell that he truly cared about the details by asking what color suit he should where for our wedding. He showed up on time and with a smile on his face ready to perform our ceremony. Did I mention that it was 100 degrees and not a cloud in the sky and no shade. But Pastor David powered right through and performed a beautiful ceremony that moved us and our friends to tears. He is an amazing man, and I would refer him to anyone. He is professional but also makes the ceremonies personal too. Thanks to The God Squad and Pastor David we had the ceremony of our dreams!

We used Father Ken for our wedding on June 4, 2022 and he was wonderful. Leading up to the wedding, he was always super responsive and helpful. We initially saw The GOD Squad featured on a network morning television show, and learned that they have a location here, locally.
After hearing recommendations from our vendors, and doing plenty of research, we decided on The God Squad as our wedding officiant. From the time I contacted them, until my wedding day, they were quick to respond, answered all my questions and went above and beyond in helping us plan our beautiful ceremony. Father Ken was amazing! He was very personable and made sure to get to know both myself and husband (fiance at the time). He called a few days before the wedding to go over details and showed up early the day of to make sure everything was okay and offer words of endearment. He has a very calming presence and wanted to help however he could. Father Ken married my mom and stepdad 17 years ago, so I knew I wanted him for my wedding as soon as I got engaged!

After having our first officiant cancel on us, my husband and I were scrambling to find an officiant. We were truly blessed to have found the GOD Squad! Our minister was such a joy to work with and was also very professional. He was extremely professional and very responsive in all emails and telephone calls. Our ceremony was beautiful and went smoothly, it was exactly what we wanted! They were also extremely affordable and helped save us a ton of money compared to our first officiant. I had contacted a few officiants before finding the God Squad. Most of them were nice but not only was our minister pleasant to work with, he was informative. He made the planning process easy for me which was very important. He gave me direction and advice and made my special day beautiful. Thanks God Squad

Billy was the best!
From the first meeting to rehearsal to the day of! Billy was 10/10! He met all of our requirements and also made our ceremony special! He was easy to communicate with and felt like family! I would have not trusted anyone else with our wedding! I would recommend him to any bride and groom!

Great experience
My wedding started later than the scheduled time but my officiant was very understanding and flexible. He was so nice, he made my wedding go so smooth. Thank you so much. I’m glad I found you.

Very happy with this service
Steve was our officiant for our wedding this past Saturday. He is WONDERFUL!!! He did an amazing job! He is very professional, thorough and personable. Very easy to work with made our wedding day very special and the wedding ceremony even though it was a short notice ran smoothly because of his help, the ceremony was stress free with his input everything turned out as we had pictured it. Thank you so much Steve!

Very caring minister
We used the God Squad for our wedding and we couldn't have been more satisfied. Our minister was very warm and so friendly and really made me feel at ease. My husband is from a Hispanic background and had trouble pronouncing some of the vows. Our pastor was great and modified our vows so that my husband was more comfortable saying them during the ceremony. I would definitely recommend The God Squad to anyone wishing to get married. You have enough stress as it is planning your big day and having an officiant who is so organized and efficient will make things so much easier. :)

Wonderful service
The God Squad was perfect for my daughter and her husband. They took their ceremony very seriously and had specific requests. Our pastor was flexible in working with them to get exactly what they wanted. He even inquired about the wedding colors so she could dress to fit in with their photos! I would recommend the squad very highly.

There for us every step of the way
My husband and I chose to have a non religious ceremony. We looked all over online and went to the bridal fairs but found God Squad Wedding Ministers was perfect for us. We contacted them, and they were great! They gave us all the information that we needed from the name change, marriage license to everyone's role in the ceremony. They gave us examples of other ceremonies and found one that we thought fit us perfectly. The staff was full of information that helped guide me the technical part of the wedding such as name change. Despite me messing up on my vows, our helpful minister's voice kept me calm. The God Squad made our wedding memorable.
