We got married at Glen Magna Farms in June 2025 and could not have dreamed of a better wedding venue! The gardens were stunning for the ceremony, the lawn was the perfect setting for cocktail hour, and the reception under the tent was incredible. There are so many beautiful locations on the property for photos. We worked with Paige as our day-of coordinator and she was phenomenal. Our day went perfectly smoothly thanks to her professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail. Vinwood Caterers and their staff were incredible, as well. Our family and friends were raving about how gorgeous the venue is and we will look back fondly on this day and this special venue for years to come.

The Perfect Venue & Team for our Wedding!
We are so happy to have had our wedding at Glen Magna, it was the perfect location for us combining natural beauty and gardens with a reasonable cost. Our coordinator Sam McHugh was great to work with, she is laid back and made us comfortable throughout the process, while offering great advice and guidance from her many years of experience! Glen Magna is a well-run machine, partnering with Vinwood Caterers, we were so impressed at how smooth the entire day went and we felt taken care of throughout the whole process! It made us so happy to hear from all of our friends & family how stunned they were by the grounds. For our June wedding, the flowers came to bloom just in time which made the whole scenery magical. From the very beginning, Heather Palm made the booking process so easy and stress-free. Later, Harmony guided us through all the catering details with such professionalism and care, helping us customize everything to fit our vision. And on the wedding day itself, Sam McHugh, our coordinator, truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran flawlessly. She anticipated every need before we even had to ask and made us feel completely taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Perfect in Every Way
Glen Magna was truly absolute perfection. We had our wedding in early August, and the flowers were magnificent! The grounds, the house, the tent, it was all just incredibly beautiful. The staff at Glen Magna were also incredible from everything leading up to the wedding to the wedding day. They were attentive, responsive, and made everything in my vision come true. The catering was also exceptional. People are still bringing up the food at our wedding. And, working with the caterers was an exceptional experience, too. The variety of options was amazing, and the food was actually delicious. Everyone thought so! If I could change anything about Glen Magna, it would be to do it all over again! Most beautiful wedding venue on the Northshore!
Tiffini was the key person in making our August wedding run extra smooth leading up to and on the day of. Her experience in the wedding industry and solid advice she gave during the decision-making process made us feel confident we had chosen the right venue and was gifted the best talent to execute our dream fairytale wedding. My husband and I are very particular, and she listened to and met every one of our needs. Not only is she very patient and understanding, but her attention to detail, organization and ability to delegate (even the rowdiest, unorganized of crowds), is impressive. Choose Glen Magna Farms
All we can say is WOW!! The Glen Magna crew was outstanding. They were helpful, flexible and professional. They understood what was needed and also gave a few opinions on the decorations that really helped with our decisions. We could not have asked for better service or location.
Glen Magna Farms was an absolute perfect venue. Our venue coordinator, Sam, was extremely accommodating, helpful, and made working with her so simple. She did everything she could and more, to make sure our day was perfect.
The grounds are beautiful, and they were able to accommodate everything our wedding needed. The tent itself was enchanting. Complete with gorgeous string lighting, beautifully dressed tables, chairs, and place settings. The dance floor was reasonably sized and the space had easy access to and from the mansion/bathrooms. The extensive grounds made it easy for guests to spread out and enjoy the beautiful gardens and take in a dream-like environment.
Everyone fell in love with the venue and all of its scenic backgrounds . We took some beautiful pictures and gained loving memories that we will treasure forever. If you want a perfect venue with professional and friendly service.......choose Glen Magna Farms!!!

The perfect venue for our special day!
We fell in love with Glen Magna right away! We worked with both Heather and Tiffini and they were rockstars. From the very beginning they were very responsive, answered all our questions and just over all really welcoming. The space speaks for itself with the gardens and the home. If you are looking for a gorgeous outside venue and a charming inside space both packed with amazing photo opportunities then this is your spot. I cannot thank Heather and Tiffini enough as my husband and I both got covid just days before our original wedding date in June and they were so quick to jump in, gave us open dates and helped us move everything to a new date. They honestly helped save our wedding and for that we are so grateful. The day went smoothly, and their team was professional, hospitable, and really took care of us and our guests. If you are between two venues, don’t think about it anymore —this is your venue – you won’t regret it!

Dreamy wedding in lush secret gardens
Gorgeous venue, like a series of secret gardens! Beautifully kept and cares for greenery and grounds. Samantha and her team at Glen Magna Farms are super on top of it and easy to work with. The venue is contracted with a great caterer (Vinwood) which made things really easy and smooth in terms of coordination. Even as foodies with a critical palate, the food was 10/10 (especially the gelato bar and hors d’oeuvres, though the halibut was kinda dry). The bridal and groom suites for getting ready were lovely, and the house itself was beautiful . We had our dream wedding here and our guests had a wonderful time exploring the lush grounds.

Most amazing venue ever!
So when walking into this venue I just knew it was it. The stunning garden and the mansion were breathtaking. The Staff is also soo sweet and helpful. I unfortunately had to postpone my wedding very last minute. Which was extremely devastating for me. They were so understanding with it all which was amazing.. We plan on revisiting in 2024 to planning our wedding then. I can't think of my wedding being anywhere else. Please check this place out. You won't regret it. The catering vinwood is also amazing. The staff is so kind, the food is to die for and they will work with you on anything you need. They truly make you feel special.

Look no further!!!!
If you are looking for a venue for your wedding that is romantic, timeless, and professional. Seriously, look no further. Glen Magna has been hosting weddings for YEARS and still isn't known by many which made our wedding that much more special. This breathtaking venue is tucked away, down a long gravel road, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The opportunities for photos are EVERYWHERE. The pergola is the perfect location for that whimsical ceremony, the tent for a moody candle lit evening, and the mansion as your rich focal point. They work exclusively with Vinwood caterers who blew us out of the water with their HOT and FLAVORFUL apps and entrees. Heather was our point of contact and day of coordinator and without her I don't know if our day would have been as special as it was. She was extremely professional, gave spectacular advice, and even provided us with personal photos she took behind the scenes. It may seem silly because although they aren't professional photos they gave us the guest perspective of our day which brought smiles to our faces as we could see how beautiful everything truly was.
We are so grateful for her, the Vinwood team, and the ground keepers of the property. If it wasn't for them, none of our greatest memories would have been made possible.

Glen Magna is exceptional
We cannot say enough good things about Glen Magna. So many guests told us what a beautiful place and wedding it was. My cousin got married at another venue on the North Shore and commented that she couldn't believe that Glen Magna existed and it was the best venue on the North Shore! Heather made everything run seamlessly, we weren't worried about a thing for setup, break down, etc. The food was delicious, especially the hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. The gardens in late August are just incredible -- everything is blooming with so much color. If you're looking for a garden wedding, Glen Manga is for you. It is so charming and beautiful, all our guests were thrilled.
Not only is it a stunning location, but their staff went above and beyond to help us reschedule our wedding during Covid. We were supposed to get married at Glen Magna in June 2020, but delayed until August 2020 because of Covid. When it became clear that August 2020 would still not be safe for a large wedding, we postponed until August 2021. Glen Magna worked with us to easily and seamlessly move our wedding TWICE, and never changed the pricing. They then allowed us to hold a short, family-only ceremony under the tent in August 2020, and let us use their tables and chairs. It poured during that ceremony so we held it under the tent, but their day-of staff (Paige) held an umbrella over me while I walked down the aisle. The ceremony is still beautiful under the tent because the gardens make a lovely backdrop, so your rainy day back up is set and seamless.
We cannot recommend Glen Magna enough. Their customer service is exceptional and the charm and beauty of the venue just cannot be beat.

Dreamlike Venue
This was the absolute perfect wedding venue for my spouse and I. When searching through we didn’t think the photos online appealed to us very much, but walking around the beautiful house and grounds, we knew it would be exactly what we wanted. But we were still so blown away the day of after all the tables, decorations, and everything else was put into place. We are still to this day talking about how no other venue could have lived up. Many guests said the same thing, they all said it was one of the most beautiful weddings they’ve ever been to, and so many of them were running around exploring the house and various garden paths to snap as many photos as they could. The romantic garden was exceptional for our ceremony, the house and grassy lawn brought the unique flair for cocktail hour, and the cozy tent surrounded by flowers and brick walls was absolutely stunning. Our coordinator Sam knocked it out of the park – she was extremely responsive and was great about reaching out to vendors for the things we didn’t know how to handle. There were hardly any hiccups and if there were any bigger issues, Sam must have taken care of it because I didn’t hear or notice a thing! They also impressed me with the speed of the cleanup – we went from a full tent and decorations everywhere to everything in our cars ready to go in about 45 min. Wonderful and professional venue, my spouse and I will always treasure using this for our wedding – Thank you Glen Magna!

Gorgeous Weddings Are Possible in a Pandemic
Like most COVID-19 couples, we didn't know what to expect or what would be possible for a scaled-down wedding during a pandemic. We had reservations with another venue and less than a month before our wedding date, we booked with Glen Magna Farms. From that moment on, everything seemed possible. The location is out of a fairy tale (trust us, go visit the large Willow Tree they have on their property) and our guests could walk amongst the gardens and grounds to socially distance when necessary. The staff were incredible, keeping us up-to-date and on schedule during the reception. Their exclusive caterer is Vinwood Caterers and all our guests complimented us on the food. Right now, everyone is more comfortable outside and Glen Magna has a wonderful tent that allowed us to have 50 guests (including us!) plus their staff, our photographer, DJ, etc. We didn't feel the pandemic "looming over us" at all; instead, we got to have a beautiful wedding at what may be the most gorgeous venue Greater Boston offers. Walk the grounds (it's free to visit) and book a wedding in 2020. You can your special day if Glen Magna is hosting you.

Glen Magna Farms is a hidden gem! We got married here at the end of September and it was absolutely beautiful. They do a great job maintaining the grounds and the estate is really unique. Heather was our coordinator and was great to work with. She was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the process and kept everything moving along as planned the day of. Amazing Venue especially for Small Wedding
We got married at 09-23-2018 and everything was perfect!
1. The garden was so cute so that we immediately decided this was just the place where we'd like to hold our outdoor ceremony. The flowers were all in bloom.
2. My site coordinator, Robin, was incredibly amazing! We DIY our wedding and Robin helped throughout the whole event, assisting in decoration I just told her two days before the wedding! Our wedding was bilingual, but Robin still made everything so nice!
3. The catering service was also fantastic. The food and service was outstanding. The waiters were so sweet that they especially served me with snack and beverage to make sure the bride OK during the whole event. They also helped Robin with the packing up all decoration once the wedding ended.
4. Our wedding size was small (40 guests) so we held our reception in the mansion. It was so cozy and lovely. Actually we searched several venues and Glen Manga was perfect and affordable especially for the small wedding.

The Garden Party to Remember
Glen Magna Farms is a beauty to behold and a fantastic space to host a wedding. The perennial garden is what sold us on the venue, but it is complimented well by the historic mansion and recently-added permanent tent setup. The team at Glen Magna was great to work with, both on communication and day-of. Since the site is owned by the Danvers Historical Society, there are a few restrictions, but everything was understandable and none of them took away from our wedding day. The venue also pairs with Vinwood for their Catering and Bar services. If you have your heart set on a specific vendor for this its not great, but for us it was one less thing to worry about and the Vinwood team produces some amazing meals. We would definitely recommend this venue for any couple, especially those looking for a more historic, garden-party atmosphere.

All my husband and I have to say is WOW!! We were so happy with our choice to use Glen Magna as our wedding venue since we first saw the grounds and beautifully renovated mansion. There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like - everything was so perfect!! The new tent was also absolutely perfect, it was not only beautiful but functional. All of our guests were blown away by our ceremony in the spectacularly gorgeous gardens. The pictures were completely beautiful with the mansion and exquisite grounds as a backdrop. We seriously were so impressed by the staff and how attentive they were to our needs, our day went off without a hitch. My husband and I were recently married, this past Labor Day weekend, and it was beyond INCREDIBLE!! We cannot say enough positive things about Glen Magna Farms! The venue was absolutely breathtaking between the pristine landscaping, flowers, and fabulous new tent, which only added to our perfect day! We got married under the Pergola, which was like a dream come true! Our guests couldn’t believe how magical Glen Magna was and many said “It was the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to”. Not only was the venue spectacular, but our Wedding Coordinator, Tiffini White was hands down an absolute ROCK STAR, as she went above and beyond during the course of the night! Tiffini was incredibly attentive towards myself, my husband, my parents, and in laws, as she constantly checked in to make sure that we had everything we needed. Not only did Tiffini help immensely throughout the night, but she also took the time to assist in packing up ALL of the event decorations so they were ready to be loaded back in the car once the wedding ended. In addition, to helping with the packing of all the decorations, Tiffini recognized that the transportation of decorations was going to be a little difficult, so she sprung into action and drove her own car back to the hotel with a number of our items that we couldn’t fit into our own car! We HIGHLY recommend Glen Magna Farms as well as Tiffini White for your special day! As it relates to a catering service, we would HIGHLY recommend Vinwood Caterers! Vinwood’s food and service was absolutely outstanding and they are without a doubt the best catering company in the state of Massachusetts! Not only was the food and service second to none, but the level of support and attention to detail that they provided during the planning process, which carried throughout the wedding was unbelievable!

After looking at a few venues, as soon as I saw Glen Magna Farms I knew it was something special. The gardens are so lush and beautiful and the mansion is just gorgeous. My photographer was having a field day because everywhere she turned there was new beautiful backdrop to have in our pictures. We were lucky to have Tiffini as our day of coordinator. She was amazing!! There were a few glitches on the day of but I had no idea because she took care of all of them without me knowing. We are so thankful we found Glen Magna and chose it for our wedding venue!!

Our ceremony was held in the garden on the premise, which our guests absolutely loved the fall flowers that were in bloom it was beautiful.
The reception was held inside the mansion and on the veranda, I barely had to decorate since there is so much charm and character that the mansion already holds.

From the moment I stepped foot on the grounds at Glen Magna, I knew it was the perfect place for my whimsical garden wedding. Every detail was worked out perfectly and I had nothing to worry about on my wedding day, except to have fun! The gardens are gorgeous and lend to a magical outdoor ceremony. The estate itself is charming and romantic. The perfect place for a wedding!! Highly recommend!

Glen Magna was an amazing venue for my daughter's wedding on October 22. The gardens were still lovely (in spite of the rain) and the manse was beautiful. We received extensive complements regarding how unique the site was. While the ceremony was planned for outdoors, a last minute change to indoors due to weather was no problem what so ever., There was nothing we needed to do other than arrange for a florist to bring the flowers and Heather and our selected caterer took care of all the rest. Heather ran the show in a way that was extremely well organized and efficient while not being intrusive in any way. She was reassuring throughout the process and we were fortunate to have a beautiful family wedding with 90 guests. I would highly recommend both the venue and Heather as we had an outstanding experience!

This venue was absolutely perfect for the vision of our dream wedding. We wanted an outdoor wedding in a garden setting. The natural beauty of the outdoors and the lush beauty of the indoors of the house made for stunning photo opportunities. The house is perfect for a reception for a small wedding party. We couldn't have been happier with Glen Magna Farms and the staff. Our wedding and experience were a dream come true.

It was the first and only venue we looked at because it blew us away from the minute we showed up. I can't imagine having a more perfect wedding experience. Robin was amazing and thought of everything to make sure our day went off without a hitch. Her enthusiasm, generosity and humor put us at ease. We had the best day of our lives thanks to everyone at Glen Magna and cannot recommend it highly enough!

My husband and I had the most amazing wedding at Glen Magna Farms. We had our ceremony in the garden which was absolutely breathtaking, our cocktail hour on the front lawn, and our reception in the tent. Everything was flawless, if anything did go wrong we had NO idea. We had Paige as our wedding coordinator, she was professional and answered any question we had in a timely manner. All of guests kept commenting on how beautiful and fun our wedding was, and we owe a lot of that to Glen Magna. If you get married at Glen Magna, be sure to hire Vinwood....the food is amazing and so is their stadff! They work along with Glen Magna's staff to make sure everything is perfect. Thank you Paige and Glen Magna Farms!!

Our wedding was held at Glen Magna Farms in middle October. I can't tell you how many people and vendors told us what a lovely place it was to have a wedding at. All our guests (and vendors) were highly impressed with the beautiful setting indoors and out. With their award winning gardens/grounds, and the historical interior, you can not go wrong for a late Fall or Winter wedding. In summer/spring there is also the option of having a tent. This venue also made it possible to have open bar at a reasonable expense because the purchase of alcohol is wholesale through a choice of 2 preferred vendors. Their catering preferred vendors are amazing, it was hard to choose from. Paige, the Day of Coordinator ... was simply amazing, and a top-notch professional. She had everything covered down to the smallest detail. Such a beautiful memory. I highly recommend Glen Magna Farms for a beautiful wedding site.

My husband and I recently got married at Glen Magna Farms this past September and they had beyond exceeded our expectations in every way. From our first visit the Venue, completely mesmerized us as it did to each of our guests on our big day. The beautiful historic estate is hidden away surrounded by so many fun and unique gardens/coves on the grounds. Which made for breathtaking photos.
Heather and Robin were great and very helpful. Robin was our wedding coordinator the day of our wedding and she was amazing! She ensured everything went smoothing and kept my day stress free. Our day couldn’t have been more perfect and it had a lot to do with the great team and beautiful grounds at Glen Magna Farms.
I would highly recommend any couple to visit Glen Magna Farms because I guarantee they will walk away just as mesmerized as my Husband and I were.

Glen Magna Farms was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. We had our ceremony in the gardens under the pergola, and the setting was just gorgeous. However, one of the main reasons we chose Glen Magna was for the beautiful "plan B" setting on the curved stairway of the mansion. None of the other venues that we saw had comparable plan B settings.
Paige was our main coordinator. She did a great job organizing and directing the rehearsal, setup, ceremony, and reception. It's clear that she has a lot of experience coordinating weddings at Glen Magna, and several of our guests were quite impressed with her professionalism.
We had a small (<80) guest list, so we all fit into the drawing and dining rooms for dinner. Cocktail hour was on the lawn, and dancing was on the porch and just below the porch.
Glen Magna helped to make our wedding day go smoothly, and all the vendors were integrated seamlessly, even the 6-piece band that had never played at Glen Magna before. My dad was actually surprised at how little we spent on the venue considering how spacious it was and how beautiful the gardens were. I would highly recommend GMF for a couple looking to host a fun garden/mansion wedding. Thank you, Paige, Heather, and the GMF team!

Glen Magna Farms is extraordinarily beautiful. Both the house and the grounds are amazing, and you really can't go wrong with either the A or B plan. I fortunately had beautiful weather, and gardens were amazing. It's not inexpensive, especially if you rent a tent for an outdoor reception, but in my opinion it's absolutely worth it. The venue is so beautiful that it really doesn't need much in the way of decorations (there are flowers everywhere)! Also, you get your own alcohol delivered from a liquor store rather than buying it from the venue, which saves a lot of money. Heather, the venue coordinator, is extremely organized, and you can be sure that everything will run smoothly. I highly recommend Vinwood for catering at Glen Magna - they have catering there down to a science and do an amazing job. My wedding ran absolutely perfectly thanks to Heather and Vinwood!

We had an unforgettable wedding ceremony and reception at Glen Magna! The property is absolutely gorgeous, from the historic house to the well kept gardens & lawns. Our decision to have our wedding and reception there was solidified when we started working with the personnel there. Robin, our assigned event coordinator was pure joy to work with. She's done this a few times, and it showed. It was comforting to leave her with details with full assurance they would be tended to. On the wedding day itself, she was in the background making sure everything came together as planned. In terms of value, we couldn't find anything even close in price for what was provided! The fact that Glen Magna provides the option for on-site ceremony setup and take down at no additional cost (with an indoor option in case of rain), full use of the house, including a period furnished bedroom suite for the bride & bridesmaids and a room for the groom & groomsmen to prepare in (which looked great as captured by our photographer!), are just a few of the details and added value we didn't find at other locations. One of the biggest values, is that Glen Magna only books one event per day. This provides the flexibility to hold your event at any hour you choose (within the general working schedule), without being rushed! If we had it to do all over again, we wouldn't change a thing!

Her suggestions on set up and overall vision for our special day meant that despite the rainy weather we had an amazing time. I can't say enough great things about this venue. The mansion and house are beautiful and provide a unique setting for your special day. I had the pleasure of working with Heather for our wedding and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for me.
I had planned a lovely outside garden and lawn party. However, between the thunder storms and tornado warnings, we had to make a few changes. Heather ,add these changes seamlessly. What could have been a disaster was still a perfect event. I even have a picture from my photographer of Heather moping up the dance floor where the rain had snuck in.
I would highly recommend Glen Magna for your special day!

Oh my gosh! Our wedding day was such a whirlwind that I can't even remember if I thanked Paige properly before we left. When we chose Glen Magna we were in contact with Heather. Protocol is to assign a day of coordinator in January of the year of the wedding. So we chose Glen Magna November 2012 for our May 2014 wedding. Since Heather was so fantastic we had hoped she would be our day of coordinator. When we were assigned Paige in January we had no worries. She was really quick to respond to emails. She was patient and very easy to work with, had great advice and was just super helpful in general. Our catering vendor (Fireside/Maura - a must hire!) knew Paige well from having worked so many events at GM so that made things easier as well.
On the day of the wedding? Paige was cool as a cucumber! She had everything under control. Everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. As far as I know everything went off without a hitch. Any hitch was taken care of by Paige. Including the bustle of my dress. When my MOH got a bit turned about Paige was on the floor on her hands and knees helping to bustle my dress. If you were wanting an outdoor ceremony but weren't sure about the weather? No worries! Paige let us decide as late as 30 minutes before start time. How's that for accommodating? If you do have to switch to an indoor ceremony it will be just as beautiful as the outdoor plan. We lucked out with gorgeous weather when the prediction had been not so great. Everything else was due to choosing an amazing venue with incredible staff and the best team of vendors. Thanks so much Paige!!

Glen Magna Farms provides a beautiful and historical backdrop to a wedding ceremony and reception. However, it is the hard work and professional attention from its staff that rivals any for-profit organization in terms of venue management and quality of service. We had the great pleasure of working directly with Heather King during our wedding planning. She was highly responsive, supportive and provided many stylish (yet affordable) suggestions for our event. Although primarily responsible for venue management, Heather took on several aspects of "wedding planner" on the actual day of the wedding that were invaluable to us and our guests. We remain entirely grateful for her tremendous patience, energy, and professionalism on a cold wintry Saturday evening that might have been better suited for hot cocoa and a movie at home! In addition, we were permitted as much flexibility as possible in event set-up (given the historical nature of the structure) and in the flow of the ceremony and reception. We discovered great value in scheduling with Glen Magna during the winter season as rental rates were lower than in spring/summer months. We will absolutely consider holding another event at Glen Magna Farms in the future and we have already recommended the venue to several colleagues, family and friends for their events. Many of our guests mentioned that they had never been to as beautiful and unique a setting for a wedding as Glen Magna Farms.

We really can’t say enough about the way Glen Magna handled our wedding. When looking back on the day we think about how smoothly everything went and what a great time everyone had.
We chose the venue for the gardens. We planned an outdoor ceremony under the pergola, wanted to get pictures of our wedding party by that cool tree and enjoy summer cocktails on the veranda. And then the torrential downpour of rain came and that plan went out the window! When planning an outdoor wedding, you obviously have your A plan and your B plan. And for as smoothly as everything went you never would have known the Glen Magna staff was working Plan B. Heather King was our coordinator and Paige was there to assist her. They did an amazing job!
When we were standing on the veranda watching the pouring rain and waiting to move into the tent for introductions, we asked Heather (who looked like she just went swimming her hair was so wet) if we had the worst wedding in terms of weather that she’s ever seen. She said top five. It was pretty bad! The staff was absolutely unbelievable. They got wet while keeping our guests dry and everything went off just like it was supposed to. Once under the tent it was as if it wasn’t even raining. And even in the rain everyone had wonderful things to say about the venue. They thought the house itself was gorgeous and the grounds were beautiful…soaked, but beautiful. If Glen Magna can host the best wedding my guests have ever been to in the weather we had, then I think any couple can be confident planning their wedding with them!
Aside from the amazing work they did during our event, the staff is also easy to work with throughout the planning process. After getting prices from various venues, this is without a double the most affordable way to go if you want open bar all night. So in conclusion, Glen Magna is beautiful and the amazing staff can pull off the best wedding ever in a massive downpour.

Robin was and is the BEST! She was so helpful with any question that I had and provided top notch customer service, which not every vendor out there does, so I appreciated her guidance and input. Plus, the preferred vendors that the venue works with are top notch so that made my life so much easier when it came to planning. And we LOVED the fact that we could bring in liquor via Kappy's or Gordon's - this can help you save money....i.e. you only pay for what you drink. The grounds were gorgeous and really provided many beautiful photo ops! Robin was our events coordinator and she did a wonderful job. She kept everything running smoothly, made sure the caterers were on their game and even dealt with fussy relatives for us. Many people have told us that it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to. Looking back, the only thing I would change would be to extend the event so it could've been longer!

My wife and I were looking around Massachusetts and Rhode Island for an estate where we could hold a wedding ceremony and reception in the summer. After looking at a few candidates, we zeroed in on Glen Magna Farms, and it was the best decision ever. The event manager that handled our account was extremely friendly and helpful from the time we first visited to look at the mansion and grounds. She had extensive experience with weddings and was able to help us make decisions throughout the planning process. We quickly learned to highly value her opinions and recommendations. She was also very receptive to our requests and ideas. When it came to the big day, things went off without a hitch! The mansion was in top form, the grounds were beautiful, and everyone had a blast. After months of searching for the perfect venue all of our hard work and searching paid off after seeing our wedding come together so perfectly last Saturday. Everything went so well and beautifully thanks to Heather our coordinator at Glen Magna. I couldn't be happier and a lot of our guests said it was the best wedding that they had been to.
Being able to bring our own alcohol really saved us so much money and the flexibility to choose our own vendors really made the whole event so unique.
I would highly recommend Glen Magna to anyone looking for a naturally beautiful New England location to host their wedding.

So I dreamed of the outdoor garden wedding with the cocktail hour on the lawn, and dancing on the verandah... 10 months of planning every detail down to the second, and it all got blown away by Hurricane Irene. The house lost power, and only the emergency lights were on, and every detail I had planned had to be changed at the last moment. Robin and Heather and all the staff worked so hard to make my wedding a success. They went out and bought candles, they got generators, they got umbrellas... Even though not one single thing went as I had had planned, it was a beautiful wedding and all my guests loved it! The power came back on, the storm died down and we danced in the drawing room and on the verandah! It was a perfect wedding, and without the hard work and scrambling by the people of Glen Magna, it could have been a total disaster. It is a beautiful spot, with a great crew. If you are having your wedding here, use Vinwood Caterer in Ipswich, and use CZone in Natick as your DJ. They were the BEST team ever!

We were blessed with the most gorgeous day for our daughter's noon wedding last October -- perfect for an outdoor ceremony at the pergola. Following the ceremony our guests enjoyed passed hors d'oeuvres, beer & wine on the lawn. A number of guests said this was their favorite part of the wedding since they were able to explore the grounds and enjoy the beautiful day. Our meal was served inside followed by music & dancing on the veranda. Many people said it was the best wedding they had ever attended -- and they meant it! We would not have changed a thing...

Everything was perfect for our wedding at Glen Magna (even the weather!) Heather and Robin were amazing and kept everything running smoothly. They both made sure all the little details were taken care of and that all the vendors were on the same page. Everyone knew what to do and when to do it. From our very first meeting with Heather until we were heading home for the night, she was there to make sure everything was right! I would recommend Glen Magna to anyone in a heartbeat! We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day!!!!!!

Working with Glen Magna for my wedding reception was an absolute pleasure. The grounds are beautiful, my tented reception was lovely, and I have nothing but the most positive reviews from all of my families and friends. Heather was extremely helpful and always quick to respond, they even helped with a medical emergency in my family and made sure that I (the bride) knew nothing about it. She acted as a true wedding coordinator and ensured that the vision I had for my day was perfectly enacted. I could not have asked for a more special day at a more special venue.

As soon as I set foot on Glen Magna, I knew this was the place I wanted to get married. We worked with Robin and she was beyond amazing Robin and the rest of the Glen Magna staff gave us the wedding of our dreams. We were married under the pergola, our cocktail hour was on the grass outside, we ate dinner inside the gorgeous house, and our wedding guests danced the night away on the veranda. Many people told us our wedding was the best they've ever been too and that the grounds were the most beautiful they've seen. I cannot stress enough that Robin and Heather are PROFESSIONALS and if you want an absolutely perfect wedding that you and all your guests will never forget, have it at Glen Magna.

Exceptional on all levels. My husband and I were looking for a unique venue to host both our ceremony and reception. The "one-stop-shop" kind of reception halls did not really interest us because we wanted the day to be a reflection of who we are and what we represent. A venue like Glen Magna Farms allows you to use your creativity and really make the day your own. The staff will point you in the right direction for every possible vendor you will require to make your day perfect. The day we had at Glen Magna was one of the best days of my life and it is moments like that you can not put a price tag on.

Glen Magna Farms and Heather King made our rehearsal and wedding a perfect as we desired. The property is beautifully maintained. Heather King was extremely responsive and willing to work with us. She made it easy for us time after time. She also recommended excellent vendors for the catering, tent, cake, and DJ. All of those parties worked very well together to make it a seemless day.

The mansion, the grounds, and the service were all incredible. Janice and the whole staff were incredibly accommodating, barely batting an eye even when I asked to hang a pinata on one of their beautiful old trees. They were also extremely helpful to me when I had a bit of a crisis with a caterer, providing advice and giving reassurance. I did not have a problem getting in touch with people to resolve questions and as quite happy with how the whole day went.

This is a uniquely beautiful spot to exchange your vows. Whether you are married inside on the gorgeous curving stairway or outside (as I was) under the Pergola, your guests will feel as if they stepped back in time and were attending a garden party at some fantastic mansion. The grounds are immaculate, the service before during and after was amazing...they kept everything flowing in a nice, smooth manner. Heather King is a doll to work with. She has fantastic ideas and foresight into what might be needed on that day. I got rave reviews from all my guests saying that they'd never attended a better wedding at a more beautiful location. The only drawback is you must have an open bar, a cash bar is not allowed on the grounds...my fiance and I were already planning on an open bar so this didn't impact us at all, besides...the price was right and the service was great!!

Glen Magna Farms is a wedding venue straight out of a DREAM! I fell in love with its combination of history, elegance, and natural beauty the moment I step foot onto the grounds, and the team at Glen Magna helped our wedding day live up to that first feeling. If you are someone who has dreamed of a garden wedding (honestly, even if you aren't), the Chamberlain gardens will leave you breathless. We were able to hold our ceremony in the gardens and let me tell you, rounding the bend to see all of your loved ones nestled amongst the gorgeous flowers and your bridal party waiting for you under the stone pillars is nothing like you will ever experience. Although I would have booked the venue for the gardens alone, the rest of the grounds as well as the estate (which you have full and complete access to during your event) are stunning themselves. There were more gorgeous backdrops to take pictures with than we even had time to do. We opted to use the sailcloth tent (which you rent at a discounted price special to Glen Magna) for our reception since our wedding was in August and we loved being able to continue the event utilizing the beautiful grounds. The tent provided a romantic glow when it was lit up as night fell. Something that saved us a lot of money was that Glen Magna requires that you purchase alcohol from an outside vendor (we used Kappys), so we only ended up paying a fraction of what we would have paid for alcohol that does not do this. Robin, our event coordinator has tons of experience and definitely had our backs throughout the process, even working with my mom to come up with a plan B rain plan they had never done before, to do everything possible to make sure I wouldn't be disappointed if the weather didn't work out! We used fireside catering which was honestly the best wedding food I had ever tasted. Glen Magna is truly a hidden gem of a venue!

Glen Magna was BEAUTIFUL--everything we wanted for our wedding day. It offered everything we were looking for: exquisite gardens, a viable indoor option in case of rain, extensive grounds, and a well maintained house that you could actually use (some of the historic houses give you use of the grounds and a carriage house, but no access to the actual larger home itself). We had both the ceremony reception on-site, which made everything so easy logistically. Our day-of coordinator, Heather, was great. She kept the day running smoothly and went above and beyond to make sure all of the DIY details were taken care of.

Glen Magna was Fantastic
We absolutely loved having our wedding at Glen Magna Farms. The venue is stunning—between the beautifully maintained gardens and the elegant tent setup, the space truly speaks for itself. We barely needed any additional decorations because the grounds provide such a gorgeous backdrop on their own.
Glen Magna partners with Vinwood Caterers, which made the planning process incredibly seamless. Having the venue and catering team work so closely together took so much off our plates and helped everything come together smoothly.
A special shoutout to our coordinator, Paige, who was phenomenal from start to finish. She responded quickly to every email and question, offered thoughtful guidance, and even coordinated with our vendors directly, which made the lead-up to the wedding so much easier. On the day of, she was just as helpful—calm, organized, and on top of every detail.
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a better team. Glen Magna Farms is truly exceptional.

The most beautiful hidden gem!
I fell in love with this venue the first time I saw it, which was in the dead of winter! Even with nothing yet in bloom I could picture exactly how my wedding would look and how magical Glen Magna would make it. At my first visit when I confirmed that the pricing and amenities were accurate to what I was seeing online I almost cried I was so happy and relieved after dealing with a number of other venues with hidden fees etc. The team at Glen Magna is so straight forward and accommodating. The venue is absolutely incredible. We actually had rain on our wedding day and our coordinator Sam did everything she could to make sure we could get our picturesque ceremony in the garden, which we did and it was even more enchanting with the weather. Vinwood catering was also amazing and we had a great experience all the way from the tasting, to altering the menu to the staff and food on the day itself. If you're looking for a beautiful garden wedding with an incredible 11 acre property and stunning historical home I cannot say enough good things about Glen Magna. I'm so happy we found it and would relive that day over and over again if we could!

Breathtaking venue
We could not be happier that we chose to get married at Glen Magna Farms! The gardens are truly breathtaking, and walking into the venue feels like you have been transported to another world. We loved having our wedding spaced out in different parts of the property, with the ceremony in the garden, cocktail hour on the lawn behind the house, and then the reception under the included sailcloth tent. The property is impeccably maintained, and our wedding guests enjoyed being able to explore the grounds during our wedding.
Beyond the beautiful property, the inclusions with our rental of Glen Magna were a bonus. We were glad to avoid the extra cost and hassle of sourcing our own tent or tables & chairs. Although we had initially wondered whether the their exclusive catering contract with Vinwood was limiting, we came to see this as a benefit since Vinwood’s longstanding relationship with Glen Magna translated to the catering staff working like a well-oiled machine on our wedding day.
We had easy communication during our planning process with the Glen Magna manager and day-of coordinator. Getting married at Glen Magna Farms felt like we had found a hidden gem of a wedding venue in the Boston area!

Incredibly beautiful wedding venue
We hosted our wedding at Glen Magna and could not have been happier with the venue! The garden was absolutely stunning in August with full blooms and so much color. The house is a wonderful statement piece with lovely rooms inside to take photos in and get ready. We loved that we could host our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all on the grounds. Our guests were so impressed with the venue, it was truly a fairytale garden.
One of the real highlights of working with Glen Magna was Ellen. Ellen was our main liaison leading up to and on the day of our wedding. She was incredibly helpful and responsive and made sure our day was perfect. Ellen was ever present throughout the day, including helping me bustle my very complicated dress not once, but twice! She was truly outstanding and our day would not have run as smoothly without her.
Overall, we are so happy we chose to have our wedding at Glen Magna. It was an incredible venue for a magical wedding day. The only part that was not a perfect 5-star was the fact that we couldn't do a sparkler, rose petal, or really any sort of send-off due to the historical nature of the house.

After weeks of searching, which felt like months, we finally found Glen Magna, and I am so happy we did! The grounds are absolutely breathtaking, and the proximity to Boston was perfect for us, as we wanted our guests, who were primarily from out of state, to be able to stay in the city but only endure a 30 minute shuttle ride to the venue. After the winter we had (2015, you will go down in infamy), I can't deny that I was nervous about how the grounds would look. I needn't have worried - everything was STUNNING! We had our ceremony in the garden and reception under a tent on the lawn, which perfectly hit our need for outdoorsy beauty and weather protection. The house itself is beautiful, which put me to ease for both getting ready and our ceremony rain plan. I know it's near the freeway, which made me nervous, but I can promise you that you cannot hear noise with leaves on the trees. I highly recommend Glen Magna!

Glen Magna Farm is the most amazing place in Massachusetts. It has the most beautiful gardens and landscape. The mansion has a historic charm. There are so many areas of photo-ops; you can look like you are in a secret garden in one section while imagining a totally separate space under the pergola or at the gazebo. I am beyong words. The staff is so helpful throughout the planning process; always getting back to us when we emailed them. They kept us on top of our plan; scheduling time with our PROVIDED day of wedding coordinator and caterer. The preferred vendors are amazing at what they do. The service is just impeccable. I wish I could get married there all over again and now it is our special little place.

My wedding day was perfect thanks to Heather who worked/communicated with all my vendors, not one thing went wrong! I was so busy and had no idea what was going on behind the scenes but somehow everything was done just the way I wanted. The pictures come out amazing because the grounds are so beautiful....and my guests could not stop raving! My ceremony pictures look like I am in Italy, not the middle of Danvers. The staff was professional and accommodating, and while they did limit us to a few select caterers, it ended up being great since we loved our caterer, the guests raved about the food, and they were so familiar with the venue already. It was also great that due to the local liquor laws, you buy alcohol at cost, which saves a ton on open bar. Excellent venue!

When I walked into Glen Magna Farms during my wedding venue search, I knew right away that this was it! This is where I was going to get married. I got married early August 2012 and Glen Magna was by far the most perfect choice! The gardens were breathtaking, the coordinator, Robin, was wonderful, and everything was perfect
(even the severe rain storm threats held off all night!). I am amazed at how many of our guests have told us that our wedding was the best they have ever attended and the most beautiful as well, thanks to Glen Magna Farms!

My husband and I planned our wedding remotely from California, so it was very important we found a venue to help ease the stress. We could not have been happier to find Glen Magna.
We primarily spoke with Heather King, and she is a true professional. She let us the terms of using the venue, which is essentially bring your own everything (minus chivari ballroom chairs, tables, linens, glass- and silverware), and that some categories of vendors had to be on an approved list. It was no problem for us since we used the approved vendors list to pick everything (it was majorly helpful). Ms. King's foresight made her an amazing day-of coordinator for us.
As for the venue itself, the cost is a bargain for the gorgeous scenery we got in return. (FYI, our wedding was on June 17.) The overall feel of the place was romantic and fairytale-like. There are tons of picturesque places for your photographer to take amazing pictures. The scenery helped make our wedding album gorgeous.

I loved this venue. The person I worked with, Heather, was very helpful. She made decision making very easy. The gardens are beautiful. My wedding invitations were inspired by them. I really chose this place because it had the charm and organic feeling I wanted without the ridiculous price tag. The surrounding neighborhood is not ideal, but it is only about a half hour away from Salem. It wasn't impossible for our traveling guests to get there. I loved this location also because it had a consignment liquor policy. Let me tell you... that saved us a lot of money! It's basically an open bar, but you only pay for what people drink... and you pay liquor store prices. I could go on and on about this place, but just go check it out.

They were fantastic! If you're looking for an outside venue, I would highly recommend it. It's expensive since you have to rent the place and then rent the tent, tables, chairs, etc) but it's so beautiful it's worth it.
The staff was great and made everything easy. We had a really hot day (96 in September) and then a lightening storm which caused a power outage and they wedding coordinator took care it gracefully. She put votive candles all around the house, moved all the cocktails tables and food up on to the porch (befor it started raining). She was soaked by the end of the night but she never seemed put out by it.
Highly recommend it.

We loved glen magna
Glen Magna was the perfect location for our wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous and everything went off perfectly. Caroline was our day of coordinator and she made sure we had everything we needed! She was very helpful and attentive and we made sure we had the most perfect day!

Thank you so much for making our wedding so special. From start to finish, everything was perfect and it was EXACTLY how I always imagined my wedding day to be. All of our guests said that it was by far, the best wedding that they'd ever been too! The grounds are gorgeous, making our wedding pictures unbelievable. Vinwood Catering did an amazing job!!! The service, food and prices were better than we hoped. We got a lot of nice feedback from all of our guests and we will never forget our wedding at Glenn Magna. Thanks again ;)

I wouldn't leave the money box on the piano. That is the one thing that many guests said to us. They said it was a bad place and that a lot of people were afraid to leave the card there.

Glen Magna is a beautiful little esatate with very friendly staff. The grounds are amazing, and the house looked so beautiful on our wedding day. The venue is really designed for a small wedding however, especially if you want to have it inside the house (we had 55), and the sound system was somewhat problematic.

One of the most beautiful spots on the North Shore, I would recommend Glen Magna to everyone! Heather is knowledgeable and so helpful in working with your other vendors. For the price, you cannot find anything better in Massachusetts!

Glen Magna is such a unique and gorgeous venue. We had an outdoor wedding in July, everyone is still telling me how beautiful everything was. Can’t say enough great things about it!!!
