Beautiful and Delicious Deserts!

We worked with Kelly at Glass Slipper Gourmet for our wedding cake and desserts. At our tasting and design appointment she walked us through the entire process and her wide range of cake flavors had something for everyone, sweet, floral and/or rich. Her signature flavor “Honey Bee Mine” was so well balanced and original, our guests could not stop raving about it!

Kelly helped us come up with a unique design based off of a couple of pictures that complemented our overall event, and also made a sheet cake to supplement as well as a mini dessert bar with brownies, rice crispies and cupcakes for 80 people, and delivered them to our venue.

Amazing cake designer!

We're beyond happy we chose Glass Slipper to cater our September wedding in Berkeley. Kelly worked with us to create a very personalized cake taste and design that was tailored to us, and she was super helpful coordinating everything from the design, to the taste, to the return of the items she loaned us (which we accidentally stole – she was incredibly understanding).
Many of our attendees were blown away by the design, which was non-traditionally beautiful (we had a mountainous landscape with a starry night). Additionally, the cake flavors we had, honey lavender and almond vanilla, were tasty and highly distinct. Highly recommend!

If You Want a Fantastic Cake, You Can't Go Wrong with Glass Slipper Gourmet!

The cake we got for our wedding was spectacular, both visually and in terms of its deliciousness! We opted for a more modern style, marbled color on fondant, and the result was stunning, a great centerpiece for our wedding. In addition, both the cappuccino and blueberry cake flavors were phenomenal. The blueberry in particular was not just good but very interesting, truly unique and unlike anything we’d had before.

In terms of planning and preparation, Kelly was extremely professional. We had a pleasant experience tasting a variety of flavors, and she took plenty of time to work with us about our ideas for a wedding cake and come up with something we’d really like! She was also so helpful guiding us in the planning process, as we hadn’t gone to look at linens/colors yet, right away Kelly sprang into action, gave us a recommended vendor for rentals, called them up to see what availability they had and explained the process/order of planning to us. It was extremely helpful and definitely above and beyond!

Due to an emergency closure of our initial venue we had to make some minor schedule changes relatively late in the planning process, and Kelly took this in stride and took care of everything for us.

Lovely Experience, Great Cake!

Kelly was welcoming, accommodating and very professional throughout our cake tasting, helping us to make our flavor and design decisions much easier. She gave thoughtful recommendations and answered all of our questions, which helped narrow down the field of options in a timely manner.

Once our wedding day arrived, tasting the cake vindicated our choices. Our thanks to Glass Slipper Gourmet for being a part of our special day. We highly recommend this vendor and the Honey Bee Mine flavor cake.

Beautiful cupcakes and cutting cake!

After our May 2020 wedding was postponed, we agreed with our vendors to follow up the following year about our new date of October 16th, 2021. Unfortunately, our only vendor that fell through was our baker, who retired. We had our hearts set on the flavors we had initially chosen and the person who took her business over was unable to accommodate our dream cupcake and cutting cake menu. Although we were worried about finding a new vendor, it ended up being a silver lining, as we found Kelly with Glass Slipper Gourmet and were thrilled with her work! She was quick to respond, professional, completely accommodating of our hopes for our flavors, and when we met for our tasting we realized how lucky we were to work with her! We went in with our original menu set in our minds, but upon tasting her signature flavor (Honey Bee Mine) we were completely blown away and knew we had to add it to our cupcake menu immediately! Our guests raved about the cupcake flavors and the presentation (including our cake topper featuring the bride, groom, and our feline companion) and our cutting cake were just beautiful. We are looking forward to having our frozen leftover cake on our 1-year anniversary!

Amazing desserts!

Kelly was our dessert vendor for our wedding and I can't recommend her more highly. Her creations are stunning and she has the most amazing flavors - I challenge you to pick only one! We had change our large wedding to a small backyard gathering due to COVID (with the hope of a reception later on), and Kelly was very flexible about letting us move our deposit for the bigger event and working with us for a smaller scale dessert set-up for the backyard gathering as well. We went with a simple cutting cake in the Mexican Hot Chocolate flavor - a marble cake spiced with cayenne and cinnamon that is to die for, which Kelly artfully arranged flowers from our florist on top of - and cupcakes modeled off her signature Honey Bee Mine flavor, lavender blossom cupcakes with blueberry filling and honey cream cheese. Our families absolutely loved the desserts and understood why we'd been hyping them up since we booked. I can't wait to work with Kelly again in the future and highly, highly recommend that you order one of her cakes!

I Still Dream About This Cake

I was so happy with how this cake looked and even more impressed with the taste. Kelly was fantastic and was able to help me refine my vision. We were able to do an in-person tasting which was also amazing- it was hard to narrow down to two flavors for our two-tier cake. I loved how this cake turned out and everyone raved about the two flavors- Princess Cake and the Blueberry Lavender.

Delicious & beautiful cake

We are so happy we went with Glass Slipper Gourmet for our wedding cake. Kelly was great to work with leading up to the day. On the day, she delivered the cake to our restaurant, used some extra flowers from our florist to decorate it, and even said some kind words to help me calm down when something unrelated to the cake didn't go as planned. The cake itself was a hit! We chose the Honey Bee Mine and the Chocolate Divine flavors. Both were delicious, and it seemed like all the guests liked one or the other flavor. Overall, a great experience with Kelly and a delicious cake!

Kelly was an absolute pleasure to work with from the first email to my wedding day. Not only are her cupcakes and cake absolutely delicious but the work and craftsmanship that goes into them is absolutely beautiful. Perfect!!!

Kelly did a wonderful job. She listened to what my vision for my wedding was and made them a reality. Not only were my cupcakes beautiful they were delicious. She put everything together just as I wanted it. I had so many compliments on how good they were. Kelly was always prompt in replying to my questions. We were three or four months away from our wedding and our original cake maker wasn't able to help us.
From the moment I reached out to Kelly to help us with our wedding, she was immediately responsive, excited and ready to help us. My husband and I wanted something unique to us for our wedding cake and we asked her for a Napoleon cake. We sent concept ideas back and forth, she gave me ideas and explained the logistics for the day of. Oh and the the tasting was such a spectacular experience, and delicious.
On the day of, the cake could not have been more perfect. It was beyond beautiful. All of our guest were in awe of how beautiful it was as well as the taste ;)
Overall, Kelly provides the best quality, customer service and price. Highly recommend for any event!

We met Kelly only 3 months beforw our wedding. We originally wanted to go with a new backery that was recommended to us by closw friends of the backers. After months of planning our cake they canceled on us and we didn’t know what to do, I started reading reviews and found Kelly. We had some email back and forth and I was so happy that she had that one day still open. We went in for a cake tasting and it was incredible, all the cakes where so good. We decided to go with Kelly’s signature cake. What we really likes about Kelly was that she gave us recommendations on how to cut the costs reather selling us more and more. We were on a very tight budget from the start so we really appreciated that. She also took a lot of time to explain options and flavors and decor with us and we felt how passionate she is about her business. On the day of our wedding Kelly delivered the cake and it looked so beautiful and tasted even better. Everyone was raving about it and we were lucky to take the little that was leftover home and enjoy the next day! I highly recommend Kelly, finding someone who is so passionate about her art is rare! We look forward on hiring her back on for future parties.

Making the choice to have Kelly make and design our wedding cake(s) was easy. After seeing how many outstanding reviews she has received over the years made me feel comfortable and confident in choosing glass slipper gourmet, which is a huge deal when you are planning a wedding because it feels like you are constantly worrying and making decisions you aren’t too sure about. When we first met with Kelly for our tasting we were very impressed with how easy it was. She walked us through everything without overwhelming us. She got to know us as a couple and helped steer us in the right direction. We had her make our main wedding cake (3 tiers) and two small cakes to showcase our parents wedding cake toppers. Her flavors are all to die for. We chose 2 flavors; her famous “honeybee mine” which not only tastes fantastic but visually it was a total show stopper & our second flavor was a chocolate stout which is a new flavor she has recently added making all chocolate lovers fall to their knees.....YUM!!! Kelly was very professional and easy to work with. I never had to worry. She was on top of everything from double checking on venue details to letting me know exact arrival time to reminding me to reach out to florist about leaving flowers for her to place on the cake. I cannot say enough great things. There are always a few things that don’t go exactly right on your wedding day and I am happy to say that my cakes were not one of them ....everything was PERFECT!!! Thank you Kelly!!!

Our beautiful cupcake tower wedding was absolutely perfect. The cake was absolutely delicious! We had Snickerdoodle, Mocha Cappuccino, and Pucker Up (Lemon) cupcakes. There was a variety of unique flavors that Kelly offered that we would have loved to include but we stuck to three! Kelly followed through with my vision completely. The cake was better than I could have possibly imagined. Kelly was very professional and paid attention to our wants and needs.

I would highly recommend Glass Slipper Gourmet for your wedding. Kelly was affordable and incredibly professional. I am so happy with our wedding cake. It was delicious and beautiful.

Kelly from Glass Slipper was great to work with & I highly recommend her. The cake was delicious, which is really the most important thing! She also took the vision from our invitations and transferred that same style onto our cake. It came out SO beautiful! I loved her options to have different size tiered cakes in combination with additional sheet cakes to fit our budget. With so many trendy dessert options out there, I wasn't sure about going with a traditional wedding cake, but I am SO glad we did. One of our best decisions!

Booking Glass Slipper was one of the best things I did! Kelly is personable, organized and very helpful. And she bakes the most delicious cakes I have ever tasted! I had every confidence that the cake would be delivered as expected and be thoroughly enjoyed by my guests, and it was! My husband even tried a piece of the left over wedge we brought home from the wedding after our honeymoon. He sliced off the outer edge and the cake inside was moist and delicious! I don't think that would be possible with any other cake! Thank you Kelly!

My cake was perfect!!! Kelly was so amazing to work with and she took a picture of a cake I liked and duplicated it perfectly: I live in Texas and never had the chance to do cake tasting so I was very worried. I am so very happy that I chose Glass Slipper Gourmet for my wedding cake! Kelly was really professional and worked with my budget to give me a beautiful, tasty and elegant cake. When we first met she was kind enough to come to my home and let me and my groom taste some of her many flavors, let me tell you they were all really good! We ended up picking the flavor of Honey Bee Mine which is her own signature, and the most unique and wonderful cake that I have ever tried. All of my guests loved it and I love it so much that I saved the top layer from her suggestion for our 1 year anniversary and I cannot wait to dig into that! Kelly was amazing! When we had our tasting appt I was blown away with how many varieties she prepared and they were ALL delicious! My daughter chose the pink champagne cake. People at the wedding who don't typically like cake went back for more! Her design was beautiful and creative! She really caters the design to your wishes. Can't say enough about the care and attention to details. I will definitely need to plan a family celebration soon just so I can get more of this deliciousness.

We recently had Kelly from Glass Slipper Gourmet make our wedding cake and it was truly outstanding! We had tasted cakes from several other places before finding Kelly, and had been repeatedly disappointed - some places had cakes that didn't have the right amount of moisture or sweetness, and most places only offer a small selection of pretty standard flavors. As soon as I saw Kelly's menu I knew that that would not be the case with her, and once we met with her and tasted the cakes we knew it was a perfect match!

Many of her flavors are really delicious, and we ended up going with the more traditional Princess flavor for our tiered cake (white cake with vanilla custard, raspberry jam and almond buttercream filling), and getting an additional sheet cake for back-up servings that was the Mexican Hot Chocolate flavor (marble cake spiced with cayenne and cinnamon with chocolate custard, caramel and white chocolate truffle). The Mexican Hot Chocolate cake disappeared almost immediately at our wedding - it really was out of this world - and the Princess cake was also very delicious.

On top of that, the decorations were exactly what we wanted, and so beautiful! We knew we wanted a simple but elegant design, and Kelly helped us think through what different textures and colors would look like, and how it would fit into the feel of our venue. In the end, she helped us pick out the specific color of piping we wanted, and based her piping design on the lace from my gown, working off a picture that I sent her. In the end, we were incredibly happy with Kelly's work - both the taste and the look were absolutely divine. Thanks Kelly!

I was referred to Kelly by a friend who has used Kelly for her wedding (she said their frozen top tasted exactly the same a year later as it had the day of!) and then for many other cake-worthy events in life (aren't those all of them, though???). We had a few back-and-forth emails before my guy and I made a trip to the Bay Area (we planned our wedding from out of state), but then suddenly I didn't hear from her again for a possible tasting (my emails were bouncing back to me). I was pretty bummed, but moved on with my life. When I got back, she sent me an email - my email ended up in her spam! She felt bad that we hadn't met up for the tasting, and since we weren't planning on going back to the Bay Area before the wedding, Kelly did something amazing: she arranged to overnight us samples of cakes in a cooled box for us to taste. WHAT!!?!? It was amazingly generous of her to do so, and we did select the Snickerdoodle cake flavor for our wedding cake.
I was hesitant to spend so much money on a cake to feed our guests plus have a layer to take home to freeze for our anniversary, so I ended up supplementing our "show off" cake with some sheet cakes from elsewhere for cost reasons. I also had Kelly add a "faux" layer to the cake to make it look like there was enough there for everyone and no one seemed to notice at all! The cake was beautiful AND delicious and I can't wait to eat it all again!

We hired Kelly for our wedding desert table 2 weeks ago. The cake was amazing, as well as the cupcakes, cookies, lemon bars and fruit tarts!
There was a lot of variety, different flavors like Lavender and blueberry which was a huge hit!
I had a very specific look and feel for the desert table that Kelly helped execute perfectly. She is great about helping you come up with the right sort of menu for your event while keeping in mind the season, occasion and budget.
I would highly highly highly recommend her services.

Kelly is a JEWEL!

My husband and I met Kelly O'Brian back in 2009 and hired her to design our wedding cake for our 2010 wedding, which we ended up forfeiting to elope! So when we made the decision to RENEW OUR VOWS (WEDDING STYLE) for our 5 year anniversary, it was NO DOUBT Kelly was our choice!

She allowed us to DESIGN OUR OWN cake and she brought it into fruition absolutely EFFORTLESSLY! Her custom flavors were a HIT at our event and our guests are still craving more of it post wedding! Lol.

Thank you SO MUCH Kelly for being such a "ROCKSTAR" -- We will definitely choose you over and over again for every major event we host!

She was also extremely patient during the design process! My groom was very hands on during our wedding planning and I had my own extravagant ideas courtesy of Pinterest. Kelly was able to pull our ideas together, while adding her own touch of elegance. Our wedding cake was so beautiful, that I didn't want to cut into it. We chose Honey Be Mine as our flavor and it was divine! So much in fact, we are tossing tradition and pulling the top tier from the freezer to enjoy now!

not only was my wedding cake absolutely beautiful in appearance but it was so delicious! Many of my guests that weren't a fan of red velvet flavored cake are now obsessed with it. Kelly not only was super easy and flexible to meet with and accommodating with having every flavor of her amazing cakes that we wanted to taste. From the second the cake hit our lips we were sure that Kelly would be making our wedding cake, it was also clear we were going to have a hard time narrowing it down to just 3 types. There wasn't a sample we tasted we didn't like. We finally narrowed it down to her Chocolate Divine, Red Velvet, and Glass Slipper Gourmet's own Honey Bee Mine. I thought instantly how much my guests and I were going to be enjoying the cake at the reception. But I suddenly realized that I still had to decide on a design, after having a look at her gallery and sharing some pictures of my ideas Kelly and I decided that it was going to be a surprise. She would have full creative license, and just use the colors, pink and white, with touches of red and black. The day of, all I could think about was how beautiful my cake was going to be. And when Kelly arrived I was not disappointed. I was elated before me was the most beautiful and intricate cake I could have ever imagined. She far excceded our expectations. Not only did the design flawlessly tie in every aspect of artistry we had discussed. It had a few surprises, that just made it even better, edible ribbon, flowers and amazing attention to detail. It was everything I had ever dreamed of and more. Best of all the cake was delicious and every one of my quests agreed, most of them tasted all 3 flavors, and I couldn't have counted the number of compliments I received on how incredible the cake was. Kelly created a fabulous three tier vintage cake for us. She accepted us on a late notice because of a mixup with another baker. She took inspiration from some photos we sent and we selected a flavor based on her extensive list. On the event day she was running late due to traffic and was in constant contact with text updates well before the scheduled time. The cake itself was so delicious and everyone at the Wedding loved the flavors and the impressive design. It was perfect!

We used Glass Slipper Gourmet for our daughter's wedding on 9/27/14. The cake turned out spectacular and the flavors (we had 3) received nothing but compliments.

The theme was elegant vintage and Kelly's creation was perfect for it. One person actually asked me where our cake was because she thought this was a museum piece (venue was filled with antiques).

Kelly was also used for the bridal shower, which was vintage tea party theme. The cupcakes were equally as perfect and each were beautifully decorated and again very flavorful.

The intricacy of detail was amazing and both the cupcake and wedding cake were a work of art.

I will definitely use Kelly again for any special events.

Yummy! I loved working with Kelly to get the perfect cake for our wedding. We stayed under budget for our guest count, and we got two flavors. Kelly met us in our own home to do a cake tasting of like 12 different flavors (wow!). I showed her some pictures on Pinterest of what I wanted, which was actually a pretty simple 3-tier cake with some flowers on it. She said it would be no problem at all.
The cake was delivered with ample time to spare the day of. We had a sheet cake with lemon flavoring and the tiered was Oreo, and OMG- the Oreo one was AMAZING. I seriously ate the whole top tier that we opted to bring home. It took me a while, but I did...
The cake looked beautiful for our vintage chic inspired wedding, and everyone complimented their slices. She was very responsive and super truthful about all questions I asked. I liked her professionalism and the fact that she gets straight to the point.

Kelly from Glass slipper gourmet went above and beyond for our cake. I am so impressed! We had an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding and having a whimsical cake is a big part of the event. Not only was the cake delicious but it was beautiful. Kelly sculpted the most amazing cake decorations out of gum sugar from flowers, over size teacup & saucer to a golden pocket watch, the details was amazing! Our cake was WOW! It was like a work of art. Kelly was really creative and attentive to the look we desired. Our wedding was going to be in a wine cave and we wanted a cake that had sugar-coated champagne grape accents. Unfortunately we were getting married when they were not yet in season but Kelly managed to find artificial ones online for us and coat those. I’m telling you – you could NOT tell that they were not real. And the cake was gorgeous (and surely very tasty!). So many of our guests snapped photos of the cake because it was so pretty. . The Glass Slipper Gourmet made my wedding the most special day of my life. Aside from the beautiful presentation of the cake, my guests couldn't get enough of it. Kelly at "The Glass Slipper" was so great to work with! Our cake turned out to be exactly what I wanted, even more! The cake for me was my "Big" important thing for our wedding......when I saw the cake I was in awe! It was so beautiful, I did not want to cut into it! Besides, the beauty of my cake, it tasted great! Her cake flavors were all so yummy, but, we decided on three, and were very happy with our selection. Another great benefit of working with Kelly is that her rates are extremely reasonable....it really helped our with our budget, and I got much more of a cake (work of art) working with her than I would have if I went to a bakery.

We had a Cinderella Themed Wedding, and Wedding Cake. Kelly O'Brian was the person we chose to make and decorate our cake. Kelly O'brian was and is a very professional baker, and it shows in her work !!! Our wedding cake was OUTSTANDING ... our guests are still raving about it today, as well as the taste and flavors of our cake !!!

Amoung several things that I loved about Glass Slipper Gourmet, besides the professionalism, and the decorating, was the unique flavors of cakes, that Kelly has to offer !!! We had 3 flavors on our wedding cake. One was called Princess Cake, another was an Oreo Cookie Cake, and Honey Bee Mine Cake, which was purple inside like the colors of our wedding. All three of these flavors were EXCELLENT !!! And we have the wonderful pictures to prove it. And we will be willing to show anyone interested in a Cinderella Cake !!!

We had e-mailed her inquiring about a cake for our wedding. She came to our house for a complimentary cake tasting with about 10 flavors, all were amazing! She told us that she already had an event that day but she could do our cake if she could deliver it at 2pm. We ended up picking two flavors and she decorated it beautifully! Glass Slipper Gourmet did our engagement party cake, wedding cake and grooms cake. They were all amazing. First, Glass Slipper Gourmet was able to meet with us on short notice and work around our schedule. It was amazing to find a bakery that was able to give us the time and attention, rather than booking us in a tight window weeks away. The cakes were amazing. My cake was amazing. OMG. Kelly is a fantastic person to work with. She will give you the cake you want!!! Her cakes are a little pricey, compared to other vendors I tried, but worth every penny. SHE DOES NOT USE BOXED CAKES like some vendors ... at least they taste like they do. The cake she made for my wedding was commented on time and time again. Love love love Kelly!! From the first tasting to the day of was such a fantastic collaboration. She is experienced and very professional but she is also so friendly. I wasn't 100% quite sure of the style of cake I had wanted but throughout planning Kelly was very accomodating and thorough in responding to my e-mails. The cake was one of our favorite things at our wedding. It was even more beautiful than I had imagined in my head. Not only that but they tasted amaaaazing, we had so many guests compliments. She has so many flavors to choose from that it was hard only picking one so we got two! My husband is dying for our one year to come so we can eat our top tier. We would definitely hire Kelly again for future birthdays, anniversaries, and any other occasion we can think of for an excuse eat more of her cakes :)

Absolutely AMAZING! The cake was beautiful AND delicious. Even the tasting process was great (she comes right to your house and doesn't charge for it!).
We could really tell that Kelly put a lot of time, thought and energy in to the design of our cake. She took the theme of our wedding and the detail on my dress as inspiration and it turned out beautiful.
My new husband and I as well as our 75 guests were extremely happy with the design, detail and flavor (Jamaican Rum) of our cake.
The prices are incredibly (and surprisingly) reasonable for everything we got. She definitely could charge a lot more for all that was done for us. You can tell that there is a lot of passion put in to the cakes that are produced and to me, it's the small details that make an incredible wedding. Kelly helped to make ours all the more special.

Kelly was very accomodating to our needs. She came to our home with 17 samples of her delicious cakes and even combined two flavors to suit our needs. She delivered our wedding cake to our venue, assembled it and make sure all or our needs were met. Kelly was absolutely a dream to work with. From the very beginning working around our tough schedule (450 mile distance between us) to accommodating our wishes for custom cakes. Kelly is an amazing artist! She created my wedding cake this past October and she was such a joy to work with. Our cake turned out better than we even imagined. My fiance and I found a design that we wanted to personalize on our wedding cake and let Kelly roll with it. We were ecstatic at the results and the cake was gorgeous! Kelly did an amazing job on our wedding cake and I was very happy with the final product. We had gone back and forth on the final design before settling on one and she was very flexible and accommodating the all the chances. She was able to incorporate a design element from our invitations and meld it with a picture that I found online.

Her consultation was very informative and she really has the experience and knowledge that we wanted. She made us feel very comfortable and even customized our cake flavor based on our responses from the tasting.

One piece of advise when going through the consultation or finalizing the order is to discuss specifically what the cake stand will be so that the cake board works. I failed to mention that the cake stand we were using was round and had a round cake on a square board on top of a round cake stand. Little oops! but could have been easily resolved if I had thought to say something.

Kelly's cakes are wonderful! We had ~15 flavors to try out during our cake testing and each of the flavors were unique and delicious. We chose two flavors for our wedding: "Honey-Bee Mine" and Tiramisu (special request- she even made a sample for our cake testing!). All of our guests raved about both cakes (we ordered enough for everyone to have a slice of both).. The "Honey-Bee Mine" had amazing texture, color, and flavor- blueberry, cream cheese, lavender, honey.. The Tiramisu cake was perfect- the espresso soaked through the layer of lady fingers and the cheese layer was the perfect ratio to cake layers.

Overall, Glass Slipper Gourmet was a "dream vendor". Kelly was very responsive to my numerous emails, was willing to make special order flavors, and two weeks later- people are still raving about the cake and inquiring who baked it. Kelly's cakes are a steal- the value greatly exceeds the cost.

Our cake looked great and tasted even better! The price seemed high at first, but after checking with other businesses, it was fairly competitive. My husband and I were very pleased with the result, and recommend Glass Slipper Gourmet to everyone!

Kelly is very professional and completely willing to work with you on cake design and cost. The cake was gorgeous - Kelly went off of the design of our wedding invitation. Most importantly, the cake was very moist, flavorful and delicious. We received so many compliments on our cake ( Honey Bee Mine cake flavor). Kelly has amazing talent!

If you are looking for your dream wedding cake, then Glass Slipper Gourmet is the place you will find it. My experience was nothing but the best from designing the wedding cake look to the flavors and taste (superb), you will not go wrong with choosing Glass Slipper Gourmet. All details were covered and it was one less item to worry about on the Big Day because Kelly with Glass Slipper Gourmet covered it all!!!

Kelly does AMAZING artwork with her cakes. And not only do they look like works of art, but they taste outstanding! It was important to us, our cake taste unique and delicious and it was just that. We provided a picture of what we wanted it to look like and described our style and Kelly helped it come to life. She was also very detailed and easy to work with. Tons of flavor options.

What a pleasure it was to work with Kelly. We had several tastings with other vendors, and she outshined them all not only in flavor but also in her creativeness with flavors. She made us the most delicious apple spice cake for our wedding. Not only that, but it was beautiful to boot! She made it exactly how we pictured it. I didn't want to cut into it, but when we did, we weren't disappointed and neither were our guests.

Planning our Clayton wedding was difficult; I was living in Honolulu and had to research all of my vendors on the internet. Needless to say this was difficult because of the time difference and the fact that some businesses didn't check their emails....then I found Kelly at the Glass Slipper Gourmet.
She IMMEDIATLEY emailed me back with quotes, suggestions, and even various meeting times. I emailed her a couple of pics of cakes I liked, along with my wedding "flower" (dusty miller), and she combined them all. Very cool.
When I met Kelly for a testing she brought like 20 different flavor combos. I was fat and happy by the time it was over - her cakes were top notch! She was also so fun and likeable; she didn't rush the meeting, offered suggestions, LISTENED, and even sketched out a rough draft. The price was only about $150 more than Safeway! For Fondant! Jeesh, why on earth would you go anywhere else??
Kelly was my favorite vendor, and honestly, when I look back on my wedding planning, she is the first person I think of. BTW, of all the decorations and vendors at my wedding, the cake got the best reviews. Perfect :)

Kelly at Glass Slipper Gourmet designed the cake of our Bride's dreams. It was so very special. And the night of the tastings, we couldn't believe how many to choose from, and what a hard decision it was. Then, later on we threw in another small Groom's cake and she accommodated us without a complaint. The cake was exactly as designed, and tasted like heaven! It was delivered with time to spare, and she set it all up. The cost was great compared to other bakers we had looked at too! What more could you ask for? Highly recommended!

The Glass Clipper was fabulous. I ordered a wedding and groom's cake and cookies for the favors. Everything was wonderful. Everyone loved the cakes. The groom's cake was in a shape of a fireman's hat and the cookies were also a fireman's hat. Everything tasted fresh and Kelly was wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend the Glass Slipper to everyone!!!!

Our experience was fabulous from start to finish � the personalized service was unmatched and we had beautiful and yummy cake!

We had both our wedding cake and our rehearsal dinner cake made (and delivered). The rehearsal dinner cake was a surprise for my husband and had a sculpture of the LOVE statue in Philadelphia (our new home)�everyone was in awe.

I wish we could ship a cake to Pennsylvania�actually maybe I should ask!

I love their cake.. simply love it love it love it.. they matched the color of my dress with the cake color... and the cake was simply delicious!!! Yum!

When my husband and I met Kelly (of Glass Slipper Gourmet), we found her to be very professional, very flexible, and very enthusiastic about her craft. She worked with us to incorporate our cake design, and the tasting was fabulous! So when the wedding day arrived, we thought, "oh it's not a big deal, we know what the cake will look like." However, we were speechless when we saw our cake, it was gorgeous and more than we could've dreamed of! So much so, that it was almost a shame to have to cut the cake and serve it...

But boy, if the aesthetics of the cake was breathtaking, the cake it self was unbelievably delicious! It's very hard to think of food when you are the bride, but I actually made sure I had a piece of each of the flavors our cake had!

Kelly is an amazing artist and an amazing chef! She is creative and very pleasant to work with; I highly recommend Glass Slipper Gourmet!

We absolutely loved working with Glass Slipper Gourmet (Kelly)! She really lets you be a part of the process in choosing the right type of cake for you in terms of flavor and design. We thought that we were going to do cupcakes until we met with her. She is also highly flexible and extremely reasonable. She is one of the best choices that we made for the wedding and we highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a beautiful cake that is super delicious. I think that we had at least 20 people that told us it was the best wedding cake they have ever tasted.

In meeting with Kelly, she was very prepared and came with lots of pictures of her cakes to get some ideas, and several cakes to taste, all which were very fresh and great, making it very hard to chose from. I showed Kelly my wedding colors and a description of what I wanted. Kelly was able to creat a virtual mockup of what the cake would look like.
On the day of the wedding, the cake arrived just like the virtual one that she created. It was absolutely beautiful, and tasted great. I received many compliments from the guests.
Kelly is very professional, friendly, helpful, and makes great cakes. I highly recommend Glass Slipper Gourmet.

We loved the cake Kelly made for our wedding. Not only did it look wonderful but it was absolutely delicious! From the moment we met her, she was very helpful, extremely friendly and created a design that captured both me and my husband's vision. She brought many different flavors for the cake testing so we got to really pick out what we liked best. Kelly delivered the cake on time and even helped set up/decorate our cake table. We couldn't have been happier as how the cake looked and tasted. We definitely recommend her service!

Kelly was fabulous. My husband wanted mini cakes after watching a wedding special on Oprah and Kelly came through. The cakes were not just beautiful..everyone raved about the flavor!! She definately went above and beyond.

What can i say, i had the best wedding cake! The cake design was what i had envisioned, and Kelly made it come true! The cake flavors were amazing... we picked out two different cake flavors, irish cream for the tiered cake and cappucino for the flat sheath...we had lots of compliments and everybody could not get enough of it!!! Im glad we chose Glass Slipper Gourmet. Kelly is awesome! Now i have to come up with an excuse to have some of Kelly's amazing cake!

Kelly was amazing! She actually came to my home for a tasting! Her cake samples were fresh and numerous and delicious! She came with magazines and books, most importantly she was easy to work with and was able to listen to what I had in mind and transform it into the perfect cake! She even sent me a digital image of what the cake would look like! When I saw the cake the day of the wedding it was everything I had hoped for and it tasted amazing! I would definetly recommend her to everytone!

kelly's work speaks for itself ... absolutely beautiful AND delicious. working with her was "icing on the cake" ... she was so nice, professional, flexible, attentive, and is a master at her craft. we were thrilled with the quality of her work considering our budget. her cakes really are works of art. all you have to do is meet with her for her cake tasting...you'll be hooked by the samples and her personality! you will not be disappointed.

Kelly from Glass Slipper Gourmet is special. Normally, I would not take the time to complete a review, but when she asked, it was a no-brainer. She provides the highest level of service, quality, taste, and fun for her clients. It's rare that a cake generates so much interest during a wedding, but her cakes are one-of-a-kind. Without sounding too cheesy, Kelly provides love to baking and she is a class act. I would recommend her services without hesitation.

Glass Slipper Gourmet and sweet Kelly O'Brien....WHAT would our reception have been without her? I was thrilled from the first moment I met Kelly! Both my husband and I are very creative and we felt that every time we met with a cake vendor, it was their vision that mattered and not ours. NOT WITH KELLY! She was so excited with our vision and immediately began to connect with that vision. She came to our home to provide the cake tasting opportunity, which made her feel like part of our family. Even more important....the cakes were delicious and our guests made comments even weeks after the reception. And an added bonus? We froze the top of our cake and each month on the 28th, we take out a piece of the cake to celebrate. The cake is JUST as delicious after six months in the freezer. I truly believe that Kelly is the right choice for any couple who wants an amazing cake (or cakes!), a peaceful experience, and satisfied guests! :)

Kelly at Glass Slipper Gourmet was amazing. She met with us and we knew instantly that this was the person to do our wedding cake. The cake not only met our expectations but far exceeded them. It was absolutely beautiful and many guests came up to me at the wedding and commented that it was the best wedding cake or any cake for that matter that they had ever tasted.

My sister actually found Glass Slipper Gourmet through a referral for her own wedding and she invited my fiance and me to participate in her cake tasting session. We had already tasted 2 other bakeries and were disappointed with them both, so we were thrilled to have found Glass Slipper Gourmet.
Kelly was a pleasure to work with. Her cakes are delicious and she offers beautiful designs; both classic and modern. Our biggest problem was deciding which flavors we liked best (we loved so many). Kelly took my vision and color scheme and brought it to life on the day-of!
I would highly recommend Glass Slipper Gourmet to my family and friends!

Glass Slipper was the BEST! She came to our house, brought a number of different samples (about 20 in all), and I wrote her a check right on the spot. Her prices were so affordable and her cakes yummy. We gave her a picture of what we wanted and she replicated it with ease. We met with 5 other cake designers and none could create the taste that Glass Slipper did. I knew immediately, that this was the cake (designer) for us! We love Glass Slipper Gourmet!

Kelly made a delicious and beautiful wedding cake for us! Most surprising and nice was when she came to our apartment for the tasting and brought my husband and I each a small piece of 19 different cake flavors that she offers- excellent service!! We were able to narrow down our choices with her help and finally decide on a flavor. Our cake was beautifully designed, moist, and delicious. The only thing I would have changed would be to have made our middle tier more gold color than it was. Her prices are also extremely reasonable. We would definitely use her again.

Kelly is an awesome baker! We were extremely happy with our wedding cake and everyone loved the flavors. When I called for a tasting and consultation, Kelly was very accommodating and was able to come our house. She brought 13 different cake flavors and 2 icing flavors. She even brought a second set of tasting cakes so my soon-to-be-husband (at the time) could try the flavors when he came from work later that day. Everything was moist and delicious. We settled on three flavors: Pink Champagne, Oreo Cookie, and Mexican Hot Chocolate (our favorite!). When it came to the design of the cake, I showed her a picture of something we liked, and she was able to make it even better than the picture. It was beautiful! I would definitely recommend her to a friend or a stranger.
