Alecia is a wonderful hair and make up artist. She did a great job listening and making sure my hair and make up were everything I dreamed of. Alecia took the time to schedule a trial. She did not disappoint. My hair and make up looked beautiful. I’m always asked who did my hair and make up for my wedding. I will always refer them to Alecia. -

Alecia was super responsive and accessible during a time of crisis! Nine days before my wedding, my hair stylist got into a car accident that limited her mobility and therefore she wasn't able to do hair as she recovered. I was recommended to Alecia from the professional I secured for my makeup and she re-arranged things to save the day. She was able to do not only my hair, but also my bridesmaids' hair. And she did it all with a smile. She attended to our wants and needs, and came in with curling irons and blow dryers blazing. She was fantastic! -

Alecia was amazing! I used her for a fashion show with a tight time schedule and several girls and she was completley organized, professional and efficient. She was easy to work with, responsive and timely, and every girl who had her make up done by Alecia looked absolutely beautiful! I was lucky enough to be one of those girls and I want her to do my makeup every day!!! I highly recommend her and will definitley book again! She is trustworthy, reliable, flexible and talented! She made that part of the event run like clockwork! -

I've known Alecia for a couple years now, she went from being my tanning girl to my go to makeup artist (for any special event) and now my hair stylist!! She cuts and dyes my hair! Always satisfied! She's super flexible and always makes sure you are 100% happy. Can't wait for my next makeup sesh! :-) -

Makeup By Alecia is Amazing. I was beyond thrilled with the job that she did on not just myself, but all my bridesmaids for my wedding. She even did the makeup for my mother & mother-in-law, & my mom is extremely picky about her makeup & completely loved what a great job alecia did. She is really professional but treats you like your great friends. She made the whole process a total dream for me. She is highly recommended in my book, you will get your moneys worth. In fact one of my brides maids booked her for her own upcoming wedding after she experienced the great job, & I am a part of her wedding & trilled because I get to experience Alecia's amazing work again, Yay!!! -

Alecia did a great job with my hair and makeup. I also had my niece's, my mum's and mum-in-law's hair and makeup done by Glam Squad. Everyone's hair was very nice. My niece's, 16, makeup was light yet made her features brighter. The mums could use less foundation, but we fixed everyone before the ceremony. -

Alecia was AMAZING! Not only was she very flexible for both my trial but also on my wedding day, but she was early and made us all beautiful! She even adapted to my mom's skin, which is very sensitive. I am so glad that I went with Alecia for my makeup artist. I recommend her and will use her again for other events! -

I called Alecia after last-minute searching on the web. She had good reviews on Yelp and was by far the least expensive of all the make up artists in the area. And to hear that she was available on my wedding day, I was thrilled. She arrived on time and was very personable. I described the look I wanted and she did an amazing job. My sister, who is very critical, told me my make up looked perfect! I felt beautiful the whole day of my wedding and never had to touch up my make up (except a smidge of lipstick after I ate). It made me realize how important make up is as an integral part of the whole beauty package on my big day - just about as important as the dress - and mine was gorgeous. I would recommend her in a heartbeat! -

Alecia and Toni did hair and makeup for 6 girls. Hair and makeup stayed strong all night long! And I never felt more beautiful. They are truly talented! And, they are also extremely professional. I had a mini freak out the morning of the wedding due to some miscommunication regarding a traditional ceremony. It didn't faze Alecia or Toni at all and they made us all look and feel great! -

it was really a pleasure to have my makeup done by Alecia. i was really impressed by the level of detail and expertise. during the trial run we zeroed in on the look and Alecia recreated it with some tweeks i suggested for the wedding day. my makeup looked flawless all day and showed perfectly in photos.
together with Lauren Giovanetti, who was able to control my unruly curls into a perfect hair style, the girls made getting ready stress free and fun. if i had to relive my wedding day, i would hire them in a second. -

Aloha tan did a wedding package last year for me and my bridal party it was makeup and tanning. they did such a great job. I got a spray tan that i was really leary about it at first, as you all have heard the horror stories of turning orange, this one however was so far from that. It was a perfect glow tan and there was no steaking and no oranging at all. It lasted almost two weeks!! I loved it!! now when i go on trips i go back by and get one... The Makeup was done great, all my girls and myself looked fabulos. Alica (the owner) is very professional and great at what she does!!

I recently got married at Mission Ranch in Carmel, Alecia did my makeup, the bridesmaids and moms makeup. Alecia is very professional and did amazing beautiful makeup for everyone! Her timing was great, everyone was done and set with plenty of time which made things a lot less stressful for me. The airbrushing that she used allowed my makeup to last all night and the color match was perfect! I highly recommend Alecia for all of your wedding, special event, makeup needs!! -

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Alicia at Aloha Tans! She did some wonderful makeup for the women in my Fashion Show and they looked fabulous! They loved it and the audience loved it. On my wedding day I had to be ready by 1pm and my wedding day festivities ended at 11pm. Alecia did so much more than just make me look beautiful on the most important day of my life! She was prompt and completely understood the look that I wanted on my wedding day her experience really showed. My makeup lasted through the entire time. The only time I touched up my makeup was my lipstick and nothing smeared even when I cried. My makeup looked just as fresh at 11pm as when she applied it at 1pm. I just wanted to look good and Alecia made me look better than I have ever looked in my life the one day it really mattered! If I ever want to look fabulous I know she will be there to help. She is talented and professional. I highly recommend Alecia! -

I have to say that my wedding planning was very unconventional, since my then husband to-be and I began our planning four months before our wedding date. We had originally began making plans in Aug. 2008. Unfortunately, in the following October my mother was diagnosed with kidney cancer and all our plans came to a halt as our priorities completely changed. My family and I put everything we had in helping my mom fight her battle with cancer for 2 years. So, my husband and I decided to simply have a priest marry us with our immediate family present. My mother then reminded me that it was important to honor and recognize the love of our 19 year relationship, so we needed to celebrate that- as she put it. So she encouraged us, and we decided to do it. And of course so many details and with endless decisions to be made we scrambled to make our wedding happen. So, I had the important task of choosing my make-up stylist. I asked a trusted friend, and was referred to Alecia. Not knowing anything about her I took a chance and scheduled a trial with her! She asked me what I had envisioned for my look. She not only understood me, but ecstatically ran with it. She paid attention to every detail to make sure my make-up was flawless. I even changed my mind a few times as some brides do and she was very accommodating. She has great passion for her work and it translates so well! My bridesmaids also had their make-up done and LOVED it! My mom was reluctant to have her make-up done but on the day of the wedding quickly decided she also wanted to have her make-up done by Alecia and her team. It was the last time we would have that beautiful experience with my mom, because we lost her 2 months later. My mom was soo gorgeous! That day was so perfect, and will forever be in my heart. It was made possible by Alecia, and I will forever be grateful, Thank you! (I also tried spray tanning for the first time ever at Aloha Tan, and Alecia gave me a perfectly even natural glow...) -

My experience with Aloha Tan was wonderful! I was thrilled with my spray tan, which looked flawless and most importantly natural. On my wedding day, Alecia expertly blended my makeup to match my tan. I was also impressed with how skillfully Alecia applied my makeup. I felt like a movie star. This is how every bride she feel on her big day. I would also like to give Alecia props for making my bridesmaids look absolutely beautiful!

May 29, 2011Wedding - Alecia at Aloha Tan was great!!! I was initially nervous since I planned my wedding from Dallas and did not do a trial. She was great at giving suggestions yet listening to what I and the bridesmaids wanted. We were all pleased with the outcome and the great service provided. -

Alecia glammed me up for my wedding; her work was....well, beautiful.
Alecia is incredibly talented in her artistry for both make-up and hair. On the day of the event, she arrived early, was organized, focused, and kept to a tight schedule doing make-up and hair for me and four of the women in the Wedding Party. The end result -- amazingly beautiful women ready to walk down the aisle.
Alecia is a very grounded professional with a calming demeanor. It was such a pleasure working with her. Thank you, Alecia, for making me look gorgeous on my Wedding Day!
I plan on working with her again for make-up and hair for portfolio photos for my corporate website. -

I had my wedding April 21,2012 . I hired Alecia to do my makeup, she's a great person to work with , amazing job . I was so happy with the results she made me look sooo beautiful on my special day. Also very flexible,because my wedding was in Milpitas so she drove over there with a reasonable travel fee. nice personality. I recommed Makeup by Alecia to do ur weddings as well. Or any kind of event. :) -

Alecia Hernandez was a life saver. She put together a glam squad for Notre Dame Alumnae Association 4th Annual Fashion Show. She contacted and followed through with her make up artists and made sure that all of our models had make up and were ready for the show.She also stayed for the entire show. We have booked her for next years event. -
