  I did my first (and ONLY) hair and makeup trial with Glam Spot NJ. Their small boutique was absolutely adorable and Heather and Kelsey made my wedding vision come true. About a year out from my wedding, I didn't think I was 100% ready to book my hair and makeup, but they made my decision easy! I'm still speechless from my trial and I can't wait to work with them on my wedding day!

  I am SO happy that I chose Glam Spot for my hair and makeup for my wedding!! Heather and Kelsey took such great care of my at my trial, I was bragging to all my bridesmaids & parents how great they were all going to look at the wedding! We had 10 girls to get ready for the wedding, and at 6 am a team of 4 makeup and hair experts showed up with smiles on their faces ready to make us all beautiful. They were a joy to spend my wedding day with! Jamie stuck with me until the reception began, and she was so lovely! She took great care of me & my girls all day long - 14 hours and she still had a smile on her face!!

  Glam Spot NJ was different from the start. I requested a price quote from them and 3 other vendors, and the response I got back from them was so much more professional. Some of the vendors just answered my questions, with no additional information.
  I chose to do my "trial" appointment after looking at the website. I just knew after looking at it, I had nothing to worry about. I met heather and her assistant and before we even started working I knew she was "it" The little place is so calming, and adorable. I felt pretty just sitting in there. The ladies were so personable. It added to the whole experience of prepping for the wedding. (I wish all my planning was as easy)
  I showed them like 10 ideas from pinterest. They somehow figured out exactly what I wanted. I wish I could load the picture on here. I thought my trial was amazing, and then the day of the wedding came. I looked even better! BETTER then I knew I could look! I felt beautiful! I get tears in my eyes when I describe the way Mark looked at me. A feeling went through me that I had never felt until that moment. The girls from Glam Spot NJ truly MADE my wedding day Perfect! My MOH and 3 bridesmaids looked beautiful too, Recently my father passed away and he wasn't there to walk me down the aisle. My entire wedding party was very "weepy" These girls stayed, even wiped away tears, and fixed smeared eyes! Unbelievable! I will tell everyone I know about them! Literally Everyone!

  I can't say enough about the difference the Glam Spot NJ team made being there with us on the most important day of my life. Their presence really made the morning fun and relaxed and exciting! I felt so anxious before i saw my now husband (eek! :) ) but the girls kept me laughing and distracted and not to mention they all did an incredible job beautifying us. We all looked fantastic! The Glam Spot ladies are super talented and just lovely to be around. My five bridesmaids were in love with your work. As was I!
  Heather, I just can't with how incredibly loving and talented you are. You are truly an incredible artist. I am blessed to have met a makeup artist like you. You, my friend, are an angel.
  Kelsey, people could not stop complimenting my hair. It was a masterpiece. Also, your calming energy was so appreciated and your bubbly way is too cute. You're amazing.
  Mariah, you are an ABSOLUTE DOLL to stick around to touch us up. We really loved having you and you did such a great job. My mom couldn't stop talking about how much she loved her diva eye liner... And I can't stop laughing that she wanted more!

  Heather was amazing. I was originally planning to do my own hair and makeup but made a last minute decision to go with glam spot. I had a morning wedding so Heather and her assistant had to come to our hotel at 5am to start getting ready. Everyone loved not only how my hair and makeup looked, as well as my bridesmaids - but we also loved the fact that Heather and her assistant were cheery & upbeat - even at 5am!

  I first worked with Heather, the owner of 'Let's Makeup' on a movie set; She was absolutely personable and it became immediately evident that she was a pro - evidenced not only by her equipment and variety of products - but, also by the artistic bent of her approach to creating a look.
  
  It was some of the small details that indicated that she took her craft seriously - and the well being of the actors seriously as well - for instance, I had my own personal mascara used throughout the shoot (that she gave to me once the film wrapped)!
  
  Those details aside, she really has a lovely hand at creating a beautiful look that is specific to what is desired - and she does it without the diva attitude that many makeup pro's often harbor. I recommend Heather with the utmost confidence that you will be working with someone who wants the same thing that you do - to see you and your wedding party looking absolutely perfect on your big day.

  Heather and her team are very passionate about and take pride in their work. The makeup during trial and on the day of the wedding were flawless (done by Heather and Danielle). The hair during trial done by Kelsey was very neat and professionally done, but not in the style I preferred. Being new to the process, I did not know that one could try a few styles during trial, so I ended up paying for the second trial, although I got a break. So just remember that you can try a couple different styles at trial. At the end of the day, I was very happy with the work product. The prices are moderate, especially given the high quality and expertise.
  
  As constructive feedback, please note that the client has a right to see specific photos of work product by a team member who they have not met during trial. The photos were provided but after being told that this is the first time such a request was received. I would have been equally happy if a couple of photos were pointed out to me on the website at any point; I just needed to see for myself what to expect rather than being told that the whole team was published and advertised on TV and in magazines, albeit true. Hopefully, that was just a miscommunication.
  
  Our team on the wedding day was very attentive and prompt. The owner is fun, prompt, patient and has your best interest in heart.
