I was STUNNED by the work Shannon, Desilee, and Morgan did on the day of our wedding. I met Shannon once before for a trial and new that my makeup the day of the wedding would look amazing. On top of Shannon being great at her passion, she is a great person. She is so personable and down to earth. I could not recommend someone better to do your beauty on a special day. -

I will absolutely recommend Shannon over and over again. From weddings to any sort of formal event, she's definitely got you covered! With having a smaller bridal party, it was difficult to meet the minimum amount of services with other vendors. Her prices are fair and her personality is over the top! She provides some extras to help keep you make up looking fresh and perfect -

Glam house studios was everything I could have hoped for and more! These ladies are so overly sweet, and not only did they do amazing work, I’d hire them on personality alone!! My makeup and hair was everything I could have dreamed of. & best of all, it didn’t melt off in the Tennessee heat! If you’re thinking about coming here, just DO IT!!! -

Mountain Top Wedding
I whole heartily recommend using Glam House Studio for all your hair and makeup wedding day needs! I was sure it would be difficult finding someone to travel about 50 miles to our venue but it was no problem for Glam House. It was easy to contact Shannon Dodd and when needed she replied quickly to my inquiries. There was minimal phone service all day so we were pleased they were already there waiting for us when we arrived. We had a variety of hair lengths for Kasey to style which proved to be no problem for her. She transformed our hair in such a short amount of time, it was amazing. While hair was being styled others were having their make-up done by Shannon. My mother said she hadn’t looked so good in years. They both did an amazing job and did exactly what was asked for. Shannon and Kasey were relaxed, fun, and easy to talk with.
I would not have wanted anyone else to do my hair and make-up on my wedding day! It was perfect!

Amazing Experience!
I totally recommend using Glam House for all your hair needs! She was so easy to contact and replied very quickly! I had no phone service all day and she showed up right on time and found her way back to the room! I have super long and thick hair and that was no problem for her! I was amazing how she transformed my hair in such a short time! She did an amazing job and did exactly what I had asked for! She was so much fun and so easy to talk to! We even forgot to put in my clip at the end and she came back to help me! I would not have wanted anyone else to do my hair on my wedding day! -

We hired Glam House after deciding not to do makeup and hair ourselves. Shannon is incredible! She was so easy to work with and my mother and MIL loved their makeup! Both of them were worried they wouldn't look like themselves or look like they had too much make up on but they didn't! I would recommend Shannon and her company in a heart beat! -

Family pictures
I used Shannon for hair and makeup for family pictures taken in the Smoky Mountains. Shannon worked with our changing schedule due to weather and came directly to our cabin to get me, my two sisters, my mother, and 8 year old daughter and niece ready. She did amazing work and I would highly recommend her! -

After starting my hair and makeup experience with a HORRIBLE scam artist, I called Shannon to see if she still had our day available. Luckily, for me she did and I am so thankful for everything she did!! My hair and make up trial was so much fun and it helped us to figure out what needed to be done to make it that much better on my wedding day! The day of my wedding, Shannon and Hope came to my mother's cabin out in Townsend and did an AMAZING job! I could not have asked for kinder, more amazing people to be there for my wedding day! Shannon is wonderful and so kind! She even let us add in a couple last minute touches the day of, even though I changed the contract multiple times. We even got her to stick around for some of the reception, which was the best thing ever! Shannon stayed and did a couple of touch-ups to my lips after the ceremony and I am so appreciative of everything she had done that day! She definitely made my day better and her and Hope are so sweet and made everything PERFECT! I highly recommend them to everyone, especially if you want to look and feel like a beautiful queen! -

Shannon was absolutely a delight to work with. She has been so accommodating, I booked my hair and makeup last minute and she even traveled many miles to work with only one person (rare).
She is such a skilled woman. I called her the "Jill of all trades". Her background and experience helped everything run smoothly. She even took some beautiful pictures of our first look (secret photographer) . She was even my mini coach at times "breathe", while singing and dancing during our makeup session. Thank you so much Shannon, you did a wonderful job! -

Horrific Theft
Thanks Shannon, for stealing 900 dollars from me. No bride wants broken 20 year old eyeshadows and maybelline mascara. I have been ripped off and am merely posting this review here to prevent it from happening to other brides. Glam house studios is a company consisting of one woman who clearly doesnt understand the skill level, quality of product, or professionalism required for the bridal styling industry. I have never been more disappointed than seeing my face after my trial which she refused to refund any of the money I paid on a technicality. This is not a business; rather it's one woman charging 60 dollars per face for UNSANITARY drugstore product. She was fired after my trial and prior to my event for these reasons. If youre going for the melted prom queen look with strip lashes 1/4 inch away from your lash line and uneven lipstick etc, i suggest you book shannon dodds.
