Where do I begin?! We had our wedding at Villa Cini in Tuscany back in July. Our villa manager (Claudia) had recommended Giulia for hair and makeup. She was absolutely one of our best hires for vendors. She showed up early with her team, was extremely professional and easy to communicate with. I was very nervous on our wedding day, and she did not rush me at all.. I asked to push back my hair/makeup by an hour or so and she had no problem. Giulia has a very calming demeanour., getting my hair and makeup done felt like a spa session before the wedding and i really think that’s what calmed me down before walking down the aisle!!
She made me feel comfortable and asked if I needed breaks to eat or drink in between. I also didn’t have a specific hair style in mind , but with the heat I really wanted the hair out of my face. She suggested Hollywood curls.. best decision ever!!!!! I asked her what she recommended and trusted her professional decision.
Everyone was commenting on how well my makeup and hair were holding up all night … even the guys !! (Who you think wouldn’t notice 😂).
My bridesmaids and the rest of the bridal party actually went swimming afterwards and our makeup did not move !!! I should also mention we had our wedding in the middle of a heat wave and my makeup stayed on all day and my hair did not move. She uses high quality makeup and great brands.
My bridesmaids and I were soooooo happy with all our hair and makeup. She is truly an artist !! It’s hard to find good hair and makeup artist like Giulia in my hometown. Her expertise and dedication to her craft and her customers are very evident. I would recommended her to every one!!!!

On my wedding day in Tuscany I was set on working with vendors who would help me feel comfortable, calm, and like I could fully trust their vision and Giulia overdelivered! She is the sweetest and her work is so impressive as well as her team who brought my bridal look and my bridal party to life for our big day. Even after a hot August day, some rain, and jumping in the pool at the end of the night my hair and makeup stayed flawless. Spending the hours leading up to the wedding with Giulia and her team made the day that much better, and it felt like they were just part of our friend group as we listened to music, talked, and popped champagne. This is by far the best way to go for a day you won't forget! -

Giulia and her team were absolutely wonderful for our Tuscany destination wedding (I'm from the US, husband is from the UK!). From the start, they were incredibly professional and prompt in all communications. Despite the distance, Giulia accommodated a trial run which gave me complete confidence going into the wedding day while I finalized things at my venue - everything looked exactly how I envisioned.
Her English is perfect, which made coordinating all the details seamless and stress-free. On the wedding day, her team arrived on time and worked efficiently to make sure everyone looked and felt beautiful. The makeup and hair lasted beautifully throughout our celebration.
If you're planning a destination wedding in Tuscany and looking for a talented, reliable makeup and hair artist, I can't recommend Giulia highly enough! -

Giulia was absolutely incredible to work with. Not only is she immensely talented, but she is also one of the sweetest, most calming people to have by your side on such an important day. I normally don’t love getting my makeup done by others and my hairstyles rarely last, but everything Giulia did was absolute perfection.
Because I’m based in the U.S., I wasn’t able to do a trial beforehand, which made me nervous. But Giulia eased every worry. She took the time to have meaningful conversations with me ahead of the wedding, listened so carefully to what I wanted (and didn’t want), and was incredibly informative about how to prepare before the big day. Her communication and professionalism made me feel completely confident walking into the wedding morning.
On the day of, Giulia and her assistant were truly amazing. They not only made me feel beautiful, but they did stunning work on both of our moms and my bridal party as well. Everyone looked flawless and felt their best — the makeup photographed beautifully, and the hairstyles held up really well.
Giulia’s artistry, kindness, and calming presence made such a difference, and I am beyond grateful for her. I can’t recommend her highly enough to any bride looking for someone who is both incredibly skilled and genuinely lovely to work with. -

Guilia was recommended to me by our wedding planner and I’m so glad she was. Everything from our first communication, the trial, to the wedding day was perfect. I don’t love feeling like I’m wearing a lot of makeup. My makeup was so skin forward and I felt beautiful and like myself.

Giulia is truly a master at her craft. She is kind, patient and creative.
Hair: Having curly hair I needed to find someone that really knew how to style it naturally. During our trial she was able to immediately see my vision and brought my wedding hair dreams to life.
Makeup: I was looking for something natural, which was hard to come by before Giulia. During my trial I was open to her suggestions (I’m not big into makeup) and she did not disappoint. She chose colors that complimented my features and talked me through colors that she felt would capture my makeup goals.
Day of: I don’t even know where to being. Giulia and her assistant were beyond amazing. Not only was she there for my hair and makeup but she was there for incredible support all day long. Needed a snack? She called someone over to feed me. Need a drink? She’s got someone on it for me.
Since she stayed past the ceremony she was able to help with photos, fixing my makeup, helping to pose me, fixing my dress. If I recall, she may have carried my train to the aisle with me.
Giulia, I don’t think my day could have run as smoothly without you. Thank you so much for make me feel beautiful and helping to make my day unforgettable!

Giulia was the 4th makeup artist I tried for my wedding. I was looking for a natural bridal look, but I found most MUAH applied makeup very heavily. Giulia listened to what I wanted and kept checking I was happy throughout the process. Makeup was probably my biggest worry on my wedding day, but with Giulia I had no concerns! I couldn't recommend her more highly. She also somehow managed to make my hair retain curls - an impressive feat! -

I am so grateful that I found Giulia! We met on the morning of my wedding in Bologna. She had reviewed the photos I sent her beforehand, listened to what I wanted, and advised me on what would look good. I trusted her judgment completely! She helped me feel calm and relaxed. She was a perfectionist but efficient. Her estimate on how much time we would need was accurate and I didn't feel rushed. I really appreciate her flexibility - she was willing to work at the same time as the hairdresser, for example. She communicates perfectly in English, which was essential since I don't speak Italian very well (yet). The makeup lasted all day and looked great in the photos. I highly recommend, Giulia! -

TLDR: I never write reviews, but I had to for Giulia. She is worth every penny and more.
When my planner gave me a long list of makeup artists in Florence Italy, I was LOST. We asked our photographer for a recommendation, & he said Giulia — who happened to be the most affordable on the list.
When she did my trial, I was blown away. I told her about an insecurity I had on my face, & she literally made it go away. As if I’d had plastic surgery! I was sold.
On the actual day, I woke up with a giant pimple on my forehead and after just a bit with her in the chair, it was gone. The makeup and hair was amazing, but she also went above and beyond. When a couple junior bridesmaids felt left out bc they weren’t scheduled for makeup (totally my fault), she had it done for them, which was so incredibly nice. Her energy and good vibes were exactly what I needed. And when issues arose, even if it wasn’t her job, she jumped in to help. It was like having another wedding planner.
I’ve been married about 10 days and my husband and I have talked about how lucky we were to have her just about every other day.
Book her, thank me later. -

Being this was a destination renewal, we didn’t get a chance to have a formal meeting. Giulia arrived in time even with the rain and us being in San Gimignano. She really put me at ease and setup quickly. Our photographer worked so well with her. We will be sending brides to her for a lifetime. -

Giulia is an extraordinary wedding hair and makeup artist. I provided her with a photo for a look I wanted and she nailed it! She is amazing at what she does. If you need her assistance for the whole day for touch ups for hair and makeup during a shoot, be sure to ask as that is also a service that she provides. Giulia went above and beyond during my shoot. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me with on an important day. She made my life so much easier! Thank you Giulia!!!! -

Amazing stylist!! Very sweet and reliable
I very much recommend Giulia to anyone looking for a hair and makeup stylist in Italy! Her work is amazing, I love how she worked with me to get the style I wanted for my special day. She was very personal and we had a great time talking while she “did her thing”. 😄

Giulia is the most amazing make up artist…she made me feel and look like an absolute princess on my wedding day!
I had a trial with her a few months before the wedding and she was extremely patient and knowledgeable in helping me create my perfect bridal look. She made helpful suggestions of what would suit me; all of which were perfect!
On the wedding day Giulia was so patient and calm and made me, my family and bridesmaid feel so relaxed! Her attention to detail was incredible and I enjoyed every second of the day. I was very stressed and nervous before the ceremony and she made me feel so relaxed and happy.
My hair and make up honestly looked incredible and despite the crazy heat me humidity the make up stayed perfect the whole day and night.

Amazing to Work With!
Giulia was an absolute dream to work with! I did a trial with her several months before the wedding and she took all of my feedback into the wedding day. She is so kind, easy to work with, and truly amazing with what she does. My makeup and hair looked flawless on my wedding day and I still felt like myself. She also did my Mom’s makeup and our celebrants hair and makeup - everyone was so happy with the outcome. I highly recommend Giulia, she is passionate about her craft and an absolute pleasure to work with. -
