Anne is truly an artist in her profession. She has a way with words and design that creates sublime displays for all events. She helped us create our own custom monogram “brand” for our wedding. In addition to her knowledge and artistry, she is easy to work with and very friendly. Even through the Covid wedding planning process and paper companies all over folding, she managed to create our beautiful invitations using contacts as far away as India! She truly was a blessing in our wedding planning process and guys, I assure you, this is a FUN event to attend with your bride to be! -

The Best in the Business
Anne and her team at Girl General are the best in the business in my opinion. They created the most dreamy and perfect custom invitation set for my wedding. The whole custom process from start to finish was so fun and enjoyable getting to hand pick every detail with Anne’s help. She made everything go so smoothly with providing the addressing services and all we had to do was assemble each invitation. Anne also made custom koozies for our day and our matching thank you cards. Those were pure perfection as well. Her eye to detail is who you would want designing your Invitation set. Yes , pricing can be higher than online websites but having someone in charge of this important detail for your wedding and catching ever detail is worth every penny in my opinion. Everyone should contact Anne and the Girl General team for their wedding/event. -

The ladies at Girl General are fantastic at what they do. Some of the printed items they even do in-house, so their turn-around was super fast when I needed some emergency extras. All of our guests raved about the quality of our wedding invitations. We will definitely be going back for our future fancy paper needs! -

I'm amazed at the level of professionalism, the customer service, and the price. Girl General was my 2nd stop. They were twice as professional & half the price. Even though they did not do my invitations (we sent e-vites), they went to great pains to match the invitation (e.g.: colors, font, etc).
When the programs came in, there were a couple VERY minor things that I knew only I would would ever notice. Oh well, I thought. A couple of days later, they called and said they had re-printed the programs because they wanted them to be perfect for my special day. Now, THAT'S service. I recommend them 100%!Girl General's reply:

Working with Eleanor was an absolute breeze - she made everything so easy and straightforward. During our first appointment, she got a feel for what type of invitation we wanted, and provided suggestions for what fit our style. Once we decided, she went word by word with us to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted. After, she sent a few proofs to us before printing to make sure even more that everything was perfect. She was quick to respond each time! We liked them so much that we even got our programs with them as well - I would 100% recommend Girl General to anyone needing wedding invitations or printed materials in the future! -

Adele Sent on 12/17/2015I haven't fully used their services yet, but I have gone to their store and inquired about there services. I actually Yelped stationary places and this store surfaced. I was looking for a specific type of envelope for my wedding invites. I couldn't seem to find it anywhere online. I searched and I low. I called them and they seems to know exactly the type of envelope I was talking about. When I arrived at the store they had samples put aside for me. I found my envelopes, now I just need to order them!! Also, I asked them if they could create a seating assignment board with certain specifications. They informed me that there might be an issue with copy writes (who would thunk?). So instead of flat out saying "No", they told me they would look into it when the time comes for me to have that made up. They were truly accommodating. Definitely will go and seek their services. -

No sales pressure and just made the whole experience fun. They were prompt in checking with the printers to see the progress of the order. Very easy to work with and they care about doing the best job for you. Highly recommend them. -

Bonnie Sent on 02/28/2014We were having a Music Themed wedding and wanted our invitations to reflect as such. We went to several invitation companies who said they'd could do this, but for a price. Being on a budget, we started to accept that we were going to have to go with the same ol' standard invitation. We met with Anne who was the last appointment we had before we decided who we'd use. We explained our previous meetings and gave her our price range. She asked the all important question: "What do YOU want?" Of course, we wanted music theme invitations, but we knew we couldn't afford it. She said that if that's what we wanted, she'd make it happen, AND SHE DID! The invitations were absolutely beautiful AND affordable, and we received so many complements! We worked closely together on the design, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results. I highly recommend Girl General to anyone who needs invitations, especially custom made. -

Surprisingly, the invitation set I ordered here (invitation, RSVP card, info card, envelope, RSVP envelope) was a better value than anything I could have ordered online. I paid extra to have the store make cuts on the perforations and add the return address - definitely worth the extra small cost. Do yourself a favor and skip searching online for hours and just come here. They have plenty of choices and options. Do order plenty ahead of time though. I had to be a little proactive in obtaining and reviewing the edits before final printing. The end result was beautiful. -

Maryann Sent on 09/24/2013Anne's Store is a hidden gem in San Antonio! This store is a dream for Invitations & Unique gifts items! This Boutique has the most adorable, unique gift ideas. Anne did my Wedding Invitations for me which came out Beautiful! I couldnt decide on a design because there was so many pretty, elegant ones & she worked with me in combining 2 to get the one that I loved- She listened to my ideas & wording & worked with me. she even added vellum tissue paper which did not come with these particular invites (even though I wanted them) it was a surprise when I received the final order & they were in the box! Yayyy! Thank You Anne! I even had them monogram 7 men's button down work shirts (that she gave me the idea for) for my girls for when we got ready for the wedding- She suggested the shirts vs expensive robes- because they were sexy & cheaper! which I liked because she thought about saving me $$) That was impressive! & the shirts? They came out awesome! mine said Bride on the pocket & I got all the girls' Monograms on theirs. They came out Great & my Girl's loved them! (look for them on Anne's Facebook photos)
I will say this is a very busy boutique & make sure you give yourself ample time when ordering anything & make sure you get your quality time in & sit down with Anne- she has awesome ideas & so great to chat with, we just clicked together & I would definitely go to her again- Thank You Anne & all your staff for all your help!
