Stunning Performance That Elevated Our Ceremony

We had The Giovanni String Trio perform at our wedding, and they were absolutely superb. They played beautiful classical pieces before the ceremony, Hallelujah and Ave Maria during the ceremony, and contemporary arrangements afterward. The music truly made the event and added so much emotion and elegance to the day.

Beyond the performance, they were incredibly easy to work with—professional, prompt, friendly, and clearly outstanding musicians. Everything was seamless from start to finish.

Highly recommend The Giovanni String Quartet for any special occasion.

Wedding Quartet

Every wedding needs Giovanni String Quartet! They added so much to our daughter's wedding, setting the mood with their beautiful music. Prior to wedding, the weather was being persnickety, and the musicians graciously said they could amend their schedule to fit in with the weather. Thank you Giovanni Quartet for making the wedding ceremony such a memorable occasion. Our daughter was thrilled with the music and was so glad they were part of her wedding day!!

Music for Mother’s Memorial Service

My mother loved classical music. Having the Giovanni musicians play for her memorial service honored her. It was very easy to work with them to develop the program. I asked that they do Pie Jesu by Andrew Lloyd Weber and they were the consummate professionals being performance ready in a short period of time. I would highly recommend them for any event one desires to have string music.

They were absolutely amazing! I hired a string duet for our ceremony and they were perfection. Anastasia who was my contact for the booking was friendly and professional. When I struggling with the music selection, she walked me through the set list and offered suggestions/ solutions. I highly recommend hiring Giovanni Quartet if you're looking to make your wedding memorable and special.

Awesome String Quartet

We hired the Giovanni Quartet to play our wedding ceremony and our cocktail hour. They provided great communication and their music was beautiful. Their repertoire is pretty extensive, but they were able to learn additional songs for us. Overall they were fantastic and received many compliments from our guests.

Giovanni Quartet is Excellent!

I highly recommend Giovanni Quartet for any couple that wants a professional, responsive, experienced, amazing sounding string group for their ceremony. The owner (Anastasia) is a pleasure to work with and truly cares about making it a customIzed experience for the couple. She was always quick to reply and/or call if needed. Must have at your wedding!

GSQ provided the most elegant, lovely music for our wedding. They collaborated with us to create our perfect set list and were super easy to communicate with (especially Anastasia). We were blown away by their talent and professionalism throughout the pre-ceremony and ceremony. We HIGHLY recommend!!!

Beautiful Music Set the Tone for the Whole Day

We hired the quartet for our wedding and the moment they started playing you could feel the magic. The music was so beautiful and essential to making our day feel incredible and special from the ceremony to cocktail hour all the way through dinner. They played all the songs we picked from their list perfectly from classical songs to popular hits and made them flow perfectly. I couldn't image our wedding without them there! I highly recommend them for any event you want to feel extra special.

Best string quartet - for any occassion

Stasie and the Giovanni String Quartet were WONDERFUL!!! They were responsive, professional and most talented. It is one thing to hear music and another to physically feel the music notes vibrate. We had a small reunion of family and neighbors (mostly novice to classical music) and wanted to have a "Summer Concert" in our garden/backyard. Our group aged from 9 to 74 y/o and we were all amazed and moved by the music. The musicians even took the time to teach the children about the instruments and also provided a brief commentary before they played each song. There is nothing that compares to live music and none that compares to live classical music. The Giovanni String Quartet the the String Quartet for ANY occasion. Will definitely have the GSQ team back!!! Thank you Stasie and the Giovanni String Quartet.

Great experience with GSQ!

We heard the string quartet perform at a friend’s wedding and were very impressed, so we had to hire them when the time came for our own wedding!! Great music selection, very talented musicians! Very professional and responsive for all the prep leading up to the wedding (including postponing due to Covid). Highly recommend!

From start to finish Giovanni String Quartet was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding. Super responsive and attentive. They also have a breadth of songs to select from so the chances of needing them to learn a song is low. Amazing, Excellent and Professional

The performance of “The Giovanni String Quartet” was excellent, delightful, alive and very much appreciated by my guests. I hired Giovanni’s for my daughters wedding, it was so perfect, and lovely, my daughter will treasure the memory of walking down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon in D. Anastasia was so professional and helpful, she assisted us with music selection and accommodated our music choices, she kept in contact with us since day 1 until the big day. Musicians were so professional, on time, and played magically Game of Thrones, Mozart’s, Vivaldi and Beethoven songs, just to mention a few. I absolutely recommend The Giovanni String Quartet, they proved themselves worthy of every accolade that could be granted to a string quartet performance. Bravo!

The most AMAZING wedding musicians!

The Giovanni String musicians were absolutely amazing from first contact to finish. I can't recommend them highly enough. The Giovanni Quartet played my wedding ceremony and it was amazing! We received several compliments from our guests and it was even better than I had hoped. We decided a few weeks before our wedding that we wanted a string quartet and working with Anastasia couldn't have been easier. I was initially worried about the tight timeline but she guided us along and made the process the easiest part of my wedding. They played exactly what we wanted and all the pieces sounded beautiful! Flawless experience

I had a wonderful experience with the quartet. I booked the trio for my wedding, and they were very easy to work with, communicative, and played beautifully! Not to mention, the cost was the best I could find. Everything was set up via email, and it really didn't take much effort on my end other than choosing the songs and letting them do their thing.

The Giovanni String Quartet (in my case Trio) did an absolutely superb performance for my Birthday #60. My guests truly enjoyed them and having them perform just added so much to the celebration. Very talented!

We had the duo for our wedding ceremony and they played beautifully! The musicians are very talented and they played everything we wanted. They were easy to communicate with and the cost was very affordable. We are so happy that we hired them instead of using a DJ. We had a lot of compliments from guests on how much they loved the duo. I would recommend them to anyone!

They played beautifully for my daughter's wedding! They offered great suggestions and even played a song during the hand tying ceremony when I forgot to tell them beforehand to do it! I'm so grateful that they read my mind! No one knew I made a mistake because they were intuitive! I highly recommend this talented group!

It was so easy to work with Giovanni String Quartet. They clearly have a list of songs for us to choose from and provided us with a comprehensive play list that incorporated our selections as well as adding in songs that fit. After hiring GSQ for my daughter's wedding in 2015 where the music absolutely wonderful I knew that GSQ would be the perfect group to perform for the inauguration of Mayor Keller and City Councilors Sanchez, Pena, Borrego, Gibson, and Harris on December 1, 2017. We could be more pleased to have chosen Giovanni String Quartet for our big day! They were amazing! Several of our guests spoke about the music being their favorite part. Giovanni was professional, flexible, and skilled. I'm no music afficiando but they walked me through making selections. We are so glad we booked Giovanni for our wedding ceremony! They were super easy to work with and even learned two songs for us within 2 weeks of the wedding (and played them beautifully-- John Legend "All of Me" and Bruno Mars "Marry You" as duets). We were VERY pleased with the Giovanni string quartet at our wedding ceremony. They were incredibly responsive to our requests- I asked for a processional song they did not already have the sheet music for, and they tracked it down free of charge and played it BEAUTIFULLY. We asked them to select 30 minutes of music as guests were seated, and their selections were perfect. They were kind, professional, and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them.

First and foremost, the Giovanni Quartet are excellent musicians. Their repertoire is a great mix of classical and contemporary. At my request, they played the former pre-ceremony and the latter during the cocktail hour. Our younger guests were delighted to recognize familiar work by such artists as John Legend, Jason Mraz, and Coldplay. The older guests enjoyed the Bach, Handel and Etta James. There was something for everyone. Karl was very easy to work with and the quartet did two new arrangements for the processional that I requested. I am so glad I chose this group for my son's wedding. It worked out wonderfully!

We hired the string quartet to play for our wedding. Karl was very responsive with my initial inquiry and very easy to communicate with. The quartet was well rehearsed and prepared all the selections I requested for our welcome celebration, ceremony, and cocktail hour. The Giovanni String Quartet performed for our in-home wedding in early July. I rated this group with a 5 in every category, as they exceeded my expectations in every way. Karl was very easy to work with prior to the wedding and the performance was flawless. I would highly recommend this group to anyone in need of live music. The amount of elegance added to the event far outweighed the cost. Having GSQ play at our wedding was easily the most enjoyable part of the ceremony architecture. Giovanni Strings provided excellent music for our mom's birthday. We felt comfortable with the manager as he responded promptly and with all of the pertinent information we needed. He sent a contract that spelled out everything. The manager was always professional and the musicians were also. When they showed up to our private home for a private party of about 25 guests, the quartet set up and they were very courteous to everybody at the gathering. During their break they said hello to guests and again were very courteous and kind. The group worked with our schedule for the time frames we were looking at. The website is very easy to navigate through and the group provides a repertoire with some songs we could listen to played by the group. The repertoire is pretty large. We chose our songs and sent them to the manager with the signed contract. The quartet played our songs we chose and some of them were in a specified order to go along with a birthday slide presentation. The birthday was special in part due to the music provided by Giovanni Strings. We went with the quartet and glad we did.
