Giovanni Films is the Best!

Giovanni Films did an excellent job with our wedding video! They perfectly captured our special day. On the day of the wedding John and his assistant were very professional and totally blended in with the party - I forgot they were even there! John was very attentive and took the time to get to know our love story before the wedding day - he was so fun to work with! We are so glad that John perfectly captured this memory in a special video that we can share with friends and family. Thank you!!!!

Seriously the BEST!

Giovanni films was worth every penny spent and more! I am so thankful we decided to have a videographer at our wedding. Our video is something that I will cherish forever! Working with John was so simple and fun! He really is so accommodating and makes everyone comfortable in front of the camera. You cannot go wrong with this company!

Giovanni films is second to none! Booking them was one of the best decisions we made in the whole wedding process . The quality and clarity of every video we have is stunning. The drone video (an absolute must) flows perfectly , it captures so much that a video camera cannot. It sets your wedding videos aside from anything we've ever seen . Every time we watch our video the sounds and moments come rushing back and literally brings every moment back instantly. John and all his staff make the time before And the day of the wedding very enjoyable. I have highly recommend them to all our family and friends, I would even recommend to a stranger! We have no regrets about anything and look forward to having Giovanni films do more for us in the future!

John and his team were amazing. The investment was certainly worth the finished product. John is dedicated to creating a video that will capture the essence of the day and will be treasured for decades to come. I really feel that he got a sense of who we were and it was translated wonderfully to our video.

Amazing, Creative and Professional

When planning our wedding, we were unsure if we wanted a videographer or who to hire. I did a little research about videographers around me and found Giovanni Films online. I completed a simple contact form and within 24 hours John at Giovanni Films called me to discuss prices, packages and answered every question I had. From that point on, I knew that is who we wanted to work with. He was very professional, responsive to emails/texts, took the time to listen to what we wanted, and the day of our wedding he was so creative with different shots and even got out his drone even though we did not include that in our contract. In the end, he delivered the most creative, amazing video that captured our day perfectly and we are so happy we choose him to be our videographer.

Giovanni Films is the best

John was absolutely wonderful to work with from day one. For over a year of wedding planning, I was on the fence about booking a videographer. I did not think it would be in our budget, and so I told myself that I didn’t really want one. A month before the wedding, I began having serious second thoughts and worried I would regret not looking into it. When I saw the work Giovanni Films had done, I knew I wanted them to capture our wedding day. It was easily one of the best decisions we made! John worked with me to find a package that fit our budget and was flexible and quick to respond. He took the time to ask questions and get to know us as a couple. On the big day, John and his assistant were there on time and ready to work! They were professional and courteous and put me right at ease. When we received the link to our trailer, I was blown away and watched it over and over. They did such an amazing job! As much as I tried to take in every moment of our wedding day, it went by in the blink of an eye like everyone said it would. Because of Giovanni Films, we have everything on a beautiful video and can cherish it forever. Cannot say thank you or recommend them enough!

Awesome Videographer

At first we were unsure about hiring a videographer for our wedding but finally decided that it was something that we wanted to do. I had seen several of Giovanni Films videos and loved the work that John had done. From the moment I reached out to John until our video was completed, he was very responsive and professional. I was so excited waiting for our video and when we got it, it was even better than I had anticipated. From the very first conversation, John was so helpful and answered all of my questions. I could not be happier with my video. Everyone who watched it, called to let me know they couldn’t get through it without crying. We had a very small wedding, so it means the world for people to watch it and feel as if they were there. I have always loved watching wedding videos and I have dreamed of having a beautiful one of my own wedding, one day. Giovanni Films made that dream come true. From the very first conversation with John, we knew we had found the perfect videography fit for our big day. We felt comfortable from the start with his detailed description of services and friendly, thoughtful questions. He asked us to share our priorities, all of which were taken into to consideration in planning our day.

John's professionalism was apparent from the start, and it continued throughout the planning process. When our wedding day arrived, he came through with everything we had discussed and more. When we met in person, I felt I already knew him through phone calls and emails! His personality make everyone feel comfortable and happy in front of the camera, and that's quite a lot to say for guests who normally feel uncomfortable in front of the camera. Not only that, his assistant was professional and kind as well.

When the trailer video arrived after our wedding, it warmed our hearts and brought happy tears to our eyes - we were re-living our special day, and we knew we would have these moments captured to share throughout our lives.

Our wedding video is something we will always treasure; we already have plans to watch each year on our anniversary. We are so grateful we built this into our wedding budget, and we couldn't have picked a better person and company to capture these moments!

I had loved their videos of other weddings for years and was thrilled when I booked them! The videographer on the day of was very professional and made sure he got every shot we wanted. Waiting for the trailer was so hard but so worth it! It still makes me cry to this day. They did an amazing job!

Hiring Giovanni Films to be my videographer was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. They worked with me on every last detail of the highlight video and full length footage to make sure I was completely satisfied. The services I received were of the highest quality and I was very proud to share my video with friends and family. After the flowers had wilted, the cake was frozen, and the wedding dress was preserved, I came away with a video I'll be able to cherish for years to come.

At first I was very skeptical of spending a large amount of money on a videographer; it was the last area that we had to budget. We'd already chosen our photographer & I had great faith that she'd be able to capture our day. After speaking with many of our friends who'd recently gotten married, they ALL strongly recommended booking a videographer, stating that the video would capture & help relive more emotion than pictures would. With hesitation, we decided to book Giovanni Films after receiving a few recommendations to view his work. Once we booked John, he and his staff were a pleasure to work with. They were very professional & extremely talented. After receiving our wedding video trailer, there's no doubt in my mind that booking Giovanni Films as our videographer was one of the BEST decisions that we made during the wedding planning season. Unfortunately, our photographer did not live up to our expectations, which was extremely discouraging. I reached out to John & explained the situation & he offered to go above and beyond to get us pictures - still shots - from our video. I'd recommend this company to ANYONE planning their wedding & I'd assure them that they are worth every penny, plus more! Thank you John & team for making our dream come true :)

If you are in search of the perfect videographer/filmmaker for your wedding, DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER! John was awesome to work with!!! He was very accommodating with meeting our budgetary needs. On the days leading up to our wedding he was checking in with us. John was a joy to work with! He made what would have been a lackluster vow renewal into something magical and we are forever grateful for his creative expression of our love. We can't stop watching the video and all of our family and friends continue to contact us to tell us how the video made them feel like they were right there looking in our our beautiful love story. John and his team were truly amazing! From the initial phone call until we received our wedding video, John provided excellent customer service. He was so attentive and truly learned about us and our story. He was by far our best wedding vendor on every level. He provided outstanding customer service, was extremely responsive, showed up on time and clearly explained his role and the expectations and he truly captured every angle of our wedding. You will not find a videographer more talented! John truly understands people and has amazing talent. If you are undecided about having a videographer please do it! I promise it is worth the money. I am extremely pleased with both the short video that John Ficarrotta shot and produced, as well as the long version of my daughter's wedding. He brought along an assistant on the day of the wedding, and the tag team effect definitely showed up nicely in the finished product. In fact, at one point while watching the completed video, I found myself wondering if there was a 3rd videographer! He captured the essence of the ambiance that included lovely shots of the pre-event festivities, the venue and tablescapes, the landscape, the decorations, and managed to get the important moments without missing one.

I found John to be very professional in all of our communications, and most definitely on the day of the wedding too. We had a change of venue and his flexibility was appreciated. Communication of expectations for both parties is certainly the key when planning a big event and to capture the best moments, I'm pleased to share that Giovanni Films exceeded my expectations. The pre-wedding information he requested added to the end product along with his creative editing, John personalized the video to produce a life long treasure. I'm grateful for his creativity and well thought out scenes that captured my daughter, my son-in-law, and the joy we all shared with them that special day.

It's been almost 6 months since the wedding, and I regularly go look at the shortened online version which is a fun and entertaining synopsis of this event.

If you're looking for a professional videographer who is easy to work with, exceptional value, and a fantastic video that you will love for years to come, John Ficarrotta of Giovanni Films, without hesitation, should be your first call.

Giovanni films was AWESOME!!! We are so glad we used John for our video. Our video was high quality and contained all the important parts. John was even willing to send me some footage that didn't make the video because I thought it was important. You can really tell that John puts his whole heart and mind into making his videos and we really appreciate that! You should hire John for your event, you will not be disappointed! He works so hard the whole night and yet it doesn't feel like he is interfering at all! We loved John and our video and are so glad we invested in a video for our wedding!

We had an amazing experience with John of Giovanni Films on our special day. The variety of shots he took throughout the pre-ceremony and the ceremony were gorgeous. The editing in the highlights video with "our song" was jaw dropping. We were so incredibly pleased with the outcome of everything and so were all of our family members and friends. We are so grateful to John for the video he made for us. Our wedding day flew by, but it was a wonderful experience to be able to watch it all over again! He captured so many special memories and put them together in a video that made us laugh, cry, and smile. We will forever have these memories to watch and share with our children one day. John was real professional. He met with us to gain information on the wedding event and we all talked about what will happen, the different shots that he will do.

Even though mother nature didn't want to participate in our wedding (It rained), John adapted to the inconvenience of rain and still produced a quality video as well as trailer. We could not be happier and so glad that we decided to get a video done.

From initial contact through the entire process John was always available via email or phone and answered all of my questions regarding our special day. John of Giovanni Films was more than we could have asked for in a videographer! So many of my friends getting married in the next year are debating whether or not they want to have a videographer for their big day. My answer is YES you do! Giovanni Films had our footage back within a very reasonable time and it was the perfect gift to experience our wedding all over again. It was so beautiful to hear our vows spoken again and to see my husband's reaction as he saw me walk down the aisle for the first time. The trailer was a perfect way to share our day on social media and our DVD's that we received in the mail included basically every moment from our day. John was super flexible in communicating with me via phone and email, he arrived early on the day of the wedding to set up, and he was extremely personable and fit right into the groove of the busy day of schedule. My husband and I were completely thrilled with our entire experience with Giovanni Films. From my first visit to their website, to my initial friendly email exchange with John. I was so impressed with John’s ability to return emails quickly and address every possible concern I had. It is no surprise that he is a very busy person with numerous clients, however, I never felt like one of many.

We wanted a film that would capture our entire day and specifically include our wedding vows. Tia, our videographer, put a mic on my husband and you could hear our vows so clearly to go along with the beautiful coverage. She also captured many wonderful shots of the exterior and interior of the church.

Additionally, Tia worked tirelessly to get coverage throughout the entire reception. I never saw her sit down to rest one time. We were so lucky to have her at our event. She never intruded and was always discreet. I loved that she asked guests to say a few words or send us good wishes on the video.

I appreciated John making us a short trailer to share with friends, family or to include on social media. It’s the perfect short version that encompasses all of the important highlights. John and his team mailed our full length DVDs to our home and the cover included several professional photos from my wedding photographer. It was just an added touch that made the end product even more special.

I highly recommend Giovanni Films. If you are even remotely considering hiring a videographer- just do it! You will be so happy with Giovanni Films and the DVDs that you will be able to enjoy for many years to come!

I was leery about booking a videographer outside of my hometown city, but when I came across Giovanni Films' website I was blown away. Compared to many other vendors out there I couldn't believe all the services you received for a fraction of what others charged. Within hours after I emailed John, I received a phone call to discuss any questions and I had what we both expected to happen the day of my wedding. He completely calmed all my fears and went out of his way to assure me of any questions or concerns I had. He sent multiple videos, responded to emails quickly and called when necessary. The day of our wedding was amazing. He was prompt, professional and every one of our guests had nothing but kind words to say about him. The product was delivered as expected and it was beautiful! I couldn't believe how he got so much of our day as just one person! I loved it and will cherish it for years to come. My husband and I plan to watch it for every anniversary! Thank you John!!!

John and staff were great! Made it easy and convient to meet, the recap video as well as full footage it edited, and you receive DVDs for all of them. They even got footage of the bridesmaids and groomsmen getting ready! This was my favorite Investment we made for our wedding! We watch the video frequently and friends and family love it! John recorded both the Nuptial Mass and the reception for our daughter's wedding. He was always prompt in responding and pleasant and easy to work with. He was accommodating making sure that the final product met our expectations. He was able to capture the feel of the ceremony and the reception in the recap, not an easy feast since he had lots of recorded time. John was absolutely wonderful to work with, and I can't say enough good things about my experience with him. He traveled up to Asheville for my wedding for a minimal fee, and even with the travel fee, he is half the price of some of the other videographers I've seen, and in his case, you don't sacrifice quality for price. He arrived to the venue early, and stayed until our send-off. The entire time, he was on his feet capturing every moment. He was also a blast to have a the reception, encouraging my guests to have a good time and capturing it all on film. Also, a few months before the wedding, he made a picture montage Save the Date for my groom and I to share on Facebook and send to family and friends. It was really cute, and he did it at no extra charge. I would definitely recommend him for any wedding or special event!

My husband and I chose John to film our July wedding at Morning Glory Farm, and we could not have made a better choice! After our wedding, I could not wait to see the video. John was there for every step of the day, and I knew the video would be great! I was not disappointed, as the video was all I had hoped it would be. John did such an amazing job of capturing the emotion and joy of our day. The video brought tears, and it also brought laughs, just like our wedding! Every time we watch the video, we get to re-live our wedding. John is so responsive to questions, and leading up to the wedding, I never had to worry or stress about the videography thanks to him. We used John from Giovanni Films for our wedding in June 2013. We couldn’t have been happier! He worked all night and captured every important moment during the wedding ceremony and the reception. He arrived early, stayed late and worked in harmony with the photographer. At first, we felt we would only need a photographer, but once I saw Giovanni Films, I realized I wanted every moment caught on film. Which is exactly what he did! Giovanni Films did a great job capturing our wedding day. John was our videographer and he was everywhere! My favorite part of the wedding video is the recap because it's short and sweet and it really captures the whole day and all the little details that we worked so hard on. Hiring a videographer was a last minute thing for us and I am beyond happy we went with Giovanni Films!!!! I wasn't going to hire a videographer because I was over budget but John worked with us and I am sooooo thankful he did. Having live footage from our wedding day is priceless!!

Our video footage will be cherished for a lifetime! I cry everytime I watch the video- John did such a great job catching every special moment! And, I never knew he was always there. He is the best at what he does and he also has great ideas! I love that we have real footage of our vows, the wedding party, ring bearers and flower girls walking down the aisle, and us cutting the cake. We have sooo many special memories that are captured on live video that pictures just could not express. Govanni Films is a MUST for your wedding!

John was an amazing videographer! He was easy to contact and quick to respond prior to and after our wedding. On the days he was videoing he was prompt and worked the entire time and all was here, there, and everywhere. We are so glad we selected him as a vendor and glad he was able to capture our wedding day and make the amazing video for us to have forever.

I highly recommend hiring Giovanni Films for your wedding videography! While shopping for a videographer, I was at first impressed with the Giovanni Films videos I had watched on YouTube...each told a unique story, they were touching (my husband and I cried watching them) and they were fun! Basically, everything a wedding is and should be was captured in these videos. Then, once I spoke with John (owner) I was again impressed with the passion he has for what he does. He was excited about telling our story, and that meant a lot to me. He and his associates were very professional every step of the way. We chose the three camera/two cameramen package, which I highly recommend...it enabled us to get a lot more footage of our entire wedding, from pre-ceremony to ceremony to reception. Our video turned out beautifully! With Giovanni Films, you will be very pleased with how amazing your wedding day looks on film, and you will treasure it forever (I can't stop watching mine!)

John did a fantastic job with the wedding video. My daughter and her husband were very pleased. He was professional and courteous through the service and stayed as long as he needed to to get the job done well. The video took a little bit longer than I wanted to arrive but once it did it was outstanding and I am very happy with the result. I would certainly recommend him for your event. Thanks John!

My wife and I used Giovanni Films for our wedding in April 2014. I was a skeptic on the need for a videographer but agreed that it would be nice to capture the ceremony and the speeches. What we ended up getting was much more, and at incredibly good value.

John was very flexible and responsive throughout the process and allowed us to tailor his service to our needs. We did our speeches at the rehearsal dinner and chose to have him come out and spend the entire evening taping the rehearsal dinner in addition to the wedding day. John had a ninja-like ability to disappear and reappear during the events. He didn't miss anything, but was never in the way.

The final product exceeded expectations. We'll be able to remember all of the events from what previously was a blur of a weekend.

HE DID NOT SHOW UP! I was so excited because I thought I had found the best of the best... But he didn't even show! By the time I realized it was too late. We called and he said he just "forgot" and he had really "screwed up" um ya think?! We will never be able to get that day back nor will we be able to show our family members who live out of state and couldn't make it to the wedding or our future children and grandchildren our wedding video! Please don't make the mistake we did and be so so disappointed when they don't even show up!!!!!!
