Gio & his team were absolutely amazing! We got married in June 2025 and booked photo & video with drone footage. We did our engagement photoshoot with Gio as well. He is very communicative, provides helpful direction & the photos/videos came back so quickly for the engagement shoot & wedding day.

He & his team worked tirelessly to capture the most beautiful photos & video of our big day - everything was stunning and we are SO happy with the results!

We had Gio Photography & Video for our wedding on August 31, 2024 in New Rochelle. From first contact through delivery of the final images, the experience was excellent. Gio and his team demonstrated a high level of skill, care, and artistry. The images have a beautiful balance of natural light and vivid color. Many moments that we barely noticed in real‑time turn out to be incredible photos (hidden smiles, lighting falling just right). Detail shots (rings, dress, decorations) are crisp and thoughtfully composed. The lighting and focus on those small things show real attention to craft.
Communication was smooth. They responded to questions beforehand, checked in about the timeline, and made sure they knew which moments were most important to us.

Very precious memories

I used Gio Studio for my wedding invitations, pre-wedding outdoor photo shoot, and wedding day.
Gio Studio was awesome in all their photography work related to our wedding! They guided us every step of the way and the pictures came out high quality.
We even made a high-light video and full video on our wedding day which came out great as well.

Gio did an amazing job on our wedding photos! His attention to detail is amazing. He was punctual and made sure to get all the must have shots I sent him. Professional Service, Amazing Photos!

We hired Gio after a recommendation from our cousin who had used him for our wedding. I am incredibly happy that we decided to go in that direction.

Gio took the time to understand what we wanted out of the day, and captured beautiful moments that were even at times unexpected. For example, he caught a moment when the light was just perfect in the foyer of the hotel and got some of the most amazing shots out of it. Our photos capture the weekend perfectly - the joy, the warmth, the family, the laughs! We were very happy with the variety of shots we got. They were not cheesy, which was something we were worried about.

Additionally, communicating with Gio was easy, he was responsive, fair and professional. I would highly recommend his services.

The wedding video was well done, and when we requested a small change, he was able to do so for us.

Exceptional!!

Gio and his team were absolutely incredible to work with on our wedding day and I cannot recommend them enough. Gio and his team were wonderful and kind the whole day. They made me and my husband feel comfortable right from the start! They braved the rain for us as we wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and the pictures came out stunning. Going with Gio is MUST for the perfect wedding!

We can’t say enough good things about Gio Jung Photography!! My Wife and I were married on Memorial Day Weekend 2023 and we worked with Gio over the span of 2 years on various emails and calls while planning our event remotely (We currently live in Illinois but had our wedding in Pearl River New York). Every step of the way, Gio instilled the confidence in us from a distance that Gio and his team could handle our event flawlessly and they did! What really impressed me about Gio’s business was the following: He is a real hidden gem for a self-run business. His services are unbelievably comprehensive at an extremely competitive market rate, yet he takes a deeply personalized approach to what we were looking for as clients. Our Wedding was at a very large venue and with nearly 150 attendees my biggest concerns personally was how an affair this complex would get captured in its entirety. Gio arrived at our event with an entire team that was incredibly professional and deeply knowledgeable while still remaining friendly and perceptive to what our needs were. Gio and his team pulled off our event flawlessly and his final work exceeded our expectations. We hired Gio for our small marriage ceremony, and we were very happy with the quality and range of photographs he produced. Look No Further

I recently got my photos and video back from Gio Photography & Video and couldn’t be more thrilled! The photos are stunning with a natural-light and airy quality, which is exactly what I was looking for. The video perfectly captured all of the wonderful moments that I am excited to look back at for years to come.

Throughout the planning process Gio was always very responsive and such a wonderful vendor to work with. My husband and I did an engagement session with Gio, used him and his team for 11 hours of photo and video coverage on our wedding day, and had him provide the photo booth for our reception as well.

On our wedding day Gio’s four-person team was there for all the important moments. While they captured everything from the first look to the last dance, they did so in a very subtle way, that never distracted from the wedding. I really enjoyed having my photography team and videography team work together. They communicated so well with one another and I feel that the photos and videos I received benefited from this communication.

Our wedding was on the hottest day of the year with a real feel of about 103 degrees. Gio and his team worked with such efficiency that me, my husband, and our bridal party were spared of having to be in the heat for no longer than was necessary and still got every shot we asked for and more. If you are considering Gio as your wedding photographer look no further!!! He is wonderful, professional and the pictures and videos speak for themselves.

Fantastic experience for our November wedding

Gio and his team were a pleasure to work with. One thing I personally loved was that Gio was involved in every step of the journey. He took our engagement pictures for us and was the main photographer at our wedding as well. With some other companies we spoke to, we would get photographers who were not the main owner or we would have to pay extra for this service. Gio was amazing at giving direction as well. I am quite awkward when it comes to taking photos but Gio was helping and thinking of different ideas during the entire process. While it took a couple months to get our official pictures back, they were 1000% worth the wait! We opted to not go with a videographer and honestly we weren't disappointed. Gio and his team did a fantastic job at captured the event from start to finish to make sure every moment will stay with us forever!

Gio Photography captured every single special moment on our big day and we are so happy with the results! Amazing Photos

Gio photographed our September 2021 wedding at the W Hoboken, and I would definitely recommend the team!

After being referred by a mutual friend's wedding in Hoboken/Jersey City, we first contacted Gio. After reviewing his work on Instagram and website, we knew it was the perfect fit. We were looking for a wedding photographer that is both modern and timeless and would capture the beauty of the NYC skyline behind us. The quality and style of his images stood out in a crowd of wedding photographers.

Our wedding was initially planned for November 2020, but we postponed it to September 2021 due to the pandemic, and Gio helped every step of the way. He made the planning process simple and responded to my many wedding questions.

The team went above and beyond on the wedding day; they arrived early and even helped me put on my necklace and veil since some bridal party members were running behind schedule. They took all of the photos I requested during our planning sessions and then some fun surprises and lighting tricks for beautiful images I was not expecting! Within a week, we received sneak peek photos that I was anxiously awaiting to re-live the day that is easily accessible in our private online gallery.

Gio and his team were amazing!

Gio and his team were amazing! We hired them for 13 hours, shooting/videoing at 3 different locations and they were so professional and accommodating. We originally hired them pre-covid and had to postpone for peace of mind. It was a seamless transition to our new date.

Gio was also very knowledgable. My husband and I weren't sure how to pose but Gio made sure to give us directions so that our photos look really natural.

Gio and his team were so friendly and were able to capture all the important moments. We especially love all the candid photos captured throughout the day. It really helps up relive our wedding day again.

Great experience with Gio and team

Working with Gio was a fantastic seamless experience. We chose Gio because of his professionalism, calm demeanor and wonderful portfolio. He made us feel at ease that everything would go smoothly for our wedding.

Due to Covid our engagement photoshoot and our Wedding were both delayed twice. With the flexibility and continued follow-ups, he made sure that even with the Covid delay, he never forgot about us.

On our contract with Gio, engagement photo session was only 2 hours. We had two locations and with our outfits change and the NYC traffic we were very late. He was calm and made sure no matter how long the day went our pictures were taken to perfection.

Our wedding day, Gio and his team was on time. My wife sent Gio the "Must take photos" and Gio actually printed them out and make sure as the day went all was fulfilled. His team even took out the time to help with placing flower arrangements at the altar, due to our florist being late. My wife is very particular and Gio and his team more than delivered. We were blessed to have them as our photographer on our special day. We highly recommend Gio and his team to all.

The Gio Photography team captured our special day perfectly. Outstanding Work!!

Gio and his team went above and beyond from the moment of inquiry to final product. Not only was Gio informative and responsive, but his professionalism and experience shined through. We had some changes due to COVID, but he was more than accommodating. Upon arrival at our wedding site, Gio's team made us feel completely comfortable and made it feel like we were working with friends! The pictures and video came out beautifully! Their creativity and eye for their work is so apparent and well beyond their very fair rates. Would hire them again and again and recommend anyone else to do so!

Gio photography was a great decision for my wedding.

Planning a wedding during a global pandemic is hard and moving a wedding during a global pandemic is hard.
But, Gio was so easy! He was able to move dates since my first date was during lockdown. He showed up on time. During the ceremony, cocktail and reception I didn’t even realize he was there, but he was, and he was capturing my night to perfection. The photos I received are incredible.

Gio photography was one of our weddings best decisions, and it could be yours too!

Gio and Eric are the Perfect Team

Gio and videographer, Eric were the perfect team! We got married at the height of the pandemic-- which meant ever-changing plans. Gio and Eric were extremely accommodating of all the last-minute changes-- including a venue change for the first look. Their photographs and video were so gorgeously done. They paid attention to even the smallest of details and told our story even better than we could have. They captured all of those magic moments and gave it a cinematic flair! They were extremely responsive and communicative throughout the entire process and now we have the most gorgeous photos and video to cherish. Thank you so much Gio and Eric!

Excellent and professional.

Couldn't have picked a better photographer

Gio worked around our tight schedule to do a casual engagement shoot session on Thanksgiving Day!!! Even for our wedding day shoot, he knew where to take us around our wedding venue (Jersey City) and produced BEAUTIFUL shots. Amazing!

Where do i begin.....Gio and his team were AMAZING!!!! I couldn't be more happier with my wedding photos and videos. Gio and his team made me feel so comfortable from the start. The entire team are so creative, from the drone shots ( which were my favorite ) down to the details on my dress. We got our videos and photos so quickly! My entire family were blown away with the shots that Gio captured. AND my highlight video ugh I'm obsessed. Beyond expectations

THE PHOTO BOOTH WAS A HUGE HIT! Gio and his team were fabulous. They understood the timeline well in advance and even came to the getting ready location half an hour early to capture the ladies getting ready. The photo booth attendant doubled as the photographers assistant and chased people around to sign the photobooth guest book. This was a huge asset. They constantly followed my husband and I around to get the most shots that they could. We had 45 guests so one photographer was more than enough. Gio also did our engagement photo shoot which yielded 200 photos, way more than expected. We got our photos back in 5 weeks with a thousand edited photos and all unedited on a flashdrive. Video takes about 8 weeks to complete. Gio was very responsive and answered all questions throughout the process and even offered a referral bonus. 10/10 stars!

We highly recommend Gio!!! Gio does an amazing job of making you feel comfortable from the start. Gio took our engagement photos and our wedding day photos/video. While we had no doubt in our mind that we would like our engagement photos, we were beyond thrilled with how they turned out! We knew our wedding day would be even better and Gio and his team still somehow exceeded our expectations.
Gio and his team are amazing at what they do. They were able to capture such intimate moments on our wedding day, but we never once felt like they were “in the way” or distracting. We loved that our photos were not posed which allowed for us to feel more relaxed and look more natural.

We had an amazing experience with Gio and his team. Picking the right photographer/videographer was extremely important to us so we did A LOT of research before we decided. During our initial phone consultation, Gio was easy to talk to and was flexible with his photo/video packages because he truly cares about making his clients happy. On the day of our wedding, Gio and his team were truly wonderful. The big day flies by so quickly that I was so thankful to have Gio and his team keeping us on schedule and capturing all the big (and small) moments we will want to look back on. A detail and candid photographer, adapable, and for a good price!

Gio was great! We had some photographs on the boardwalk and within a colorfully lit concert venue and they came out beautifully. It was a very non-traditional wedding, but he was very adaptable, dealing with outdoor shoots, detailed shots, and tricky indoor concert lighting. He specializes in candid shots and detailed, which made for nice cover shots. The photobooth option was really awesome: everyone came away with something!

Unbelievable Creative Caliber and Generous Service!

My husband and I can't say enough good things about Gio and his fantastic team. The best you can get

Wow, what could I possibly say about Gio that truly captures how insanely amazing this man AND his entire team is. I hate pictures but from the moment we sat down with him and saw his work I knew I couldn't go anywhere else. From our first photoshoot for our engagement pictures to my wedding day, it was flawless and easy. This man and his entire team are just immensely talented and kind group of professionals. My wedding day,(7/5/19) was chaotic as all weddings are, and Gio did everything perfectly. From our pictures to our video(drone is amazing!). Never crowded me and my wife, very nonchalant, the hidden pictures are the best. This man is worth EVERY single penny. It's not just about dollars and cents, this man is a genuine soul who shows why he's as good as he is. Detail comes second nature to him all the while making pictures seem easy, all in the moment. Amazing experience!

Gio and his team were fantastic from start to finish! Clear and easy to work with, flexible with all our requests and such a pleasant attitude from engagement photos through the day, they really helped put us at ease and we are not very comfortable in front of the camera.

Gio and his team were amazing. He covered both our engagement photos and wedding. Gio uses 2 photographers and we added a videographer. Gio's Team is the absolute best at what they do!

From our very first meeting with Gio we knew he was the one that we wanted to shoot our wedding. His happy and accommodating personality made our day truly special. Since it was the first time shooting at the venue we scheduled a walk through with him and we told him everything we wanted. Gio's team throughout the day was so happy and encouraged us during every pose. While it's not natural to go through a "photo-shoot", hearing them encouraging us and being genuinely happy about taking a photo of us made us feel like the most beautiful people in the room. When we received our photos they were everything we could've asked for. The photos were amazing and we will have memories that will last forever. These photos will not only live on our coffee table which Gio is putting together our album but all over social media for my friends and family to enjoy.

Wonderful crew with excellent pictures and video

Gio and his crew were extremely professional— both in their dress and their demeanor. He had a team of 5 professionals that somehow managed to capture the entire day without us even realizing they were there! Gio himself is a very kind and calm person with a good sense of humor. From our initial meeting, Gio was easy to work with. He was very prompt in answering any questions we had. The day of our wedding, they arrived at the hotel right on time. What was nice is we had two photographers and videographers. Gio and his team were able to capture both of our wedding preparation. He knew how to put you at ease and was polite on directing us on where to go and how to pose for each picture – no awkward moments. We received digital copies and links to our video within 8 weeks which was stated in our contract. We are beyond happy and satisfied with the turnout of all photos as well as the videos especially the highlights (which we’ve gotten so much compliments on). They also offer photo booth services (unlimited photos + props + digital copies + hard copies) it will print out two, one for the guest to keep and other to stick onto a book which they provide that can also work as a guest book. I have to say Gio is the best photographer out there. I love how my engagement and wedding pictures came out. They were the best quality and the day of taking the engagement photos, Gio was so helpful and it was so easy to take hard pictures. Using Gio and his team was one of the easiest decisions we made for our wedding. Gio photographed my best friends wedding and he did such a great job that it was a no brainer. Gio and his team are absolutely incredible! They are the only photographers you should be choosing for your big day. Their editing and lighting is sublime. The photos are of such high quality. The compositions are interesting and fresh! Absolutely perfect wedding photos.
Besides all this, Gio is extremely responsible over phone, email, and even text message. He answers very promptly. Additionally, a couple weeks before your wedding, he sends you a very thorough questionnaire to fill out, which he then uses to capture your wedding exactly as you'd like it -- of course with his amazing artistry. It also helps him with logistics so that on wedding day it's all smooth sailing.
I LOVED having Gio as my photographer. I would make the same decision a thousand times over. Do yourself a huge favor and book Gio and his team now! You will be so grateful.
(Side note: I also used their Photobook services and that was amazing as well! They give you a really sweet book with second copies of all the photobooth prints (one goes to your guests, one goes in the book) and have your guests sign the book beside the photos. So fun to go through after the wedding! And they give it to you THAT NIGHT! The photobooth attendant was also so professional and didn't leave the photobooth all night. There were also no printing issues -- which I've experienced as a guest at other weddings. They also bring really fun props! Go for the Photobooth with Gio too!)

I highly recommend Gio Photography! Gio was so easy to work with before, during and after the wedding weekend. We are an Indian family and hosted multiple events across New York City over the weekend - Gio and his team were able to capture all the traditional moments as he understands the important customs of the Indian culture. Gio's calm nature and positive energy was so comforting during a process and time that is somewhat hectic. My husband and I both have big families who enjoy taking photos on their personal phones/cameras, and I have to commend Gio for being so patient with them (as I know other professionals don't allow family and friends to take photos, which I find unrealistic). Gio and his team were so reliable (always on time to all venues/events) and professional. Most importantly, the photos and video came out great! They were creative in taking photos with different washes, lighting, angles, etc. Gio sent the photos/videos so quickly after the wedding (a lot quicker than what I hear from other brides!). We did a lot of research before choosing our wedding photographer and videographer, and are so happy that we went with Gio Photography! Thank you again to Gio and team!

Gio and his team were so easy to work with! I wanted a Korean speaking team for my family and they were fantastic! They were dedicated to taking beautiful photos before and during the wedding! They were capturing the day as it went and they captured group photos as we had wanted. They helped us take getting ready and first look pictures at the Brooklyn bridge which were wonderful! Gio is truly an artist and knew all the places that looked beautiful and where the light would be the best. Gio and his assistant Jane were absolutely wonderful - I cannot say enough good things about this photography studio!!

First and foremost - the photography is stellar - all of our photos came out gorgeous and professional. I'm a designer who works frequently in photo-editing myself, so I was pretty selective in choosing a photographer - and I'm so happy we went with Gio and his team! They went above and beyond my expectations. Gio's sense of lighting, color, and depth are excellent. Our planned photos came out great - but Gio also has a way of capturing candid moments beautifully. Whether it was an intimate moment, or something hilarious during our reception... So many photos we didn't even know were taken just took our breath away. Every point of our day was captured just as we'd like to remember it... and then some!

Outside of the photography being awesome, Gio and Jane were wonderful people to work with. Communication was simple and all of our questions were answered fully and promptly. They were warm and friendly, and always on time, even with them making the trip from New York to Philly. They were very flexible and ran around to all our pre-ceremony photo locations, capturing anything we asked for, with no hesitation. During the reception they captured so many great moments, and we hardly noticed they were there!! Especially considering some of the pricing you see for wedding photography these days-- Gio's quality, professionalism, and overall value was fantastic.

My husband and I can't stop smiling at the pictures and video received from Gio and his team from our wedding in September! The pictures were stunning and the video (full and highlight version) captured such amazing moments of our wedding day. I contacted Gio a year before our wedding and he was very responsive and answered all the questions I had and also considered the budget we were working with. He had a way of making us feel calm and not stressed at all about the photography & videography! We really liked that he went for more of the live and spontaneous shots because looking back now, it really captured the true emotions and excitement of the day. We also did some posed shots which are always good to have! Him and his team were very timely the day of the wedding and were so nice to everyone they met! Gio and his team were so wonderful to work with. The videos and pictures came out beautifully. The team was on time and had a great eye for knowing which locations and poses would make great pictures. Gio was able to get us our pictures and video in under 2 months of the wedding. This is super fast since I know many people who had to wait half a year or longer for there pictures and video. Gio was also very responsive via email and had us fill out a form before the wedding, informing him which types of wedding pictures we wanted to make sure we got. I would highly recommend this team.

We were referred to Gio through one of best friend and could not be happier. Even though it was bit tough to walk around with uniforms on, he made us feel very comfortable and of course provided us with comedic relief and entertainment. My husband and I searched online for a photographer who's work we'd enjoy, has good reviews and is fair in price, Gio and his team met all of these marks and we couldn't be happier with the results. Peter was friendly, professional and worked continuously during our small 5 hour ceremony and reception. The pictures are excellent quality and he caught a lot of special moments. I liked that he considered my ideas for some shots while giving me tips and feedback on others. Needless to say I am very happy with the results and will consider working with them in the future for other events =) Highly recommend!

Gio and his team did an amazing job! We got out pictures back in just over a month and they were so beautiful. The lighting and effects in all of them was so well thought out and executed. They arrived on time and started snapping right away. They seemed to be in two places at once getting pictures from all angles, but it never felt like they were in your face or overwhelming you. He even brought out a drone and some very cool lighting tool! We are so glad we chose to work with Gio and couldn't be happier with our pictures!!

We just got our wedding pictures back and we are completely in love! Gio and his team did an incredible job shooting our wedding (for 12 hours). In our package, we also did an engagement shoot down in Philadelphia, which came out amazing! He didn't charge us extra for the travel time either. Gio was quick to ease our minds with any questions, and he was without a doubt our most responsive vendor. He frequently got back to our questions within an hour of our e-mail! Gio knew his role as a wedding photographer and did not impede any of the ceremonial aspects, but still managed to capture our most precious moments. Gio is incredibly professional and trustworthy. He arrived on time and was amazing throughout. We also used his company for cinematography, which we have not yet received (though I know it will be great). This package will include a highlight reel with songs of our choice, as well as approx. 100 minutes of our most precious wedding moments. We used Gio for the photobooth as well, which was a hit! We got a copy of each of our guests' pictures and a sweet message pasted in a guest book.

I am so happy we went with Gio for all of these services!! You will not regret it.

Words can't expressed how wonderful Gio and his team are. Prior to booking Gio, I had met Gio a while back, when a friend of mine who later cancelled her event, was planning on booking him for hers. It was something about his style of photography that was unique when we met with him that day. Fast forward to my wedding, I had totally forgot about Gio. My husband and I had met with several other photographers, and we were not impressed because they did not capture the style we were looking for. It was one day while cleaning out an old pocketbook that I had, I stumbled up on Gio's card I had took from him when my friend and I met with him. I immediately emailed him, and shall I say the rest from there was history. On our wedding day, Gio and his team was not overbearing, they would snap pictures without intruding on conversations we were having with our friends and families. Looking back at the online gallery, something as simple as getting dressed, he made look beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed working with Gio and his team, and while we will be renewing our vows in 10 yrs, we already emailed Gio to let him know, we will be using his service again. Thank you Gio.

I truly cannot say enough about Gio and his team. He far exceeded our expectations with photo and video. His team captured every moment perfectly. The guests at my wedding even commented on how the photos truly portrayed the emotions that were felt during my wedding from beginning to end. He brought drones along with him that added great affects to my wedding video that everyone is amazed by! They took every picture imaginable and were early to arrive at my house. We were at every location that we needed to be at throughout the day for photos at the exact times we were scheduled. We made it to our cocktail hour with one minute to spare... I truly didn't know how they would pull it off but they did! Gio was extremely easy to get in touch with and answers emails within the same day... If not within the same hour! I had photos, my highlight video, and raw footage all back to me within 3 weeks! He's a great person and was a great company to work with! The quality of his work is out of this world! Thank you Gio! After talking with Gio and meeting with him, my husband and I decided to go with his photography team. On the day of our wedding Peter was our photographer. He arrived on time and starting taking photos. We had a few hiccups during our wedding ceremony and Peter stepped in and went beyond his role by guiding us on a few formalities that we were not aware of. We had a last minute change in venue from where we had originally planned on taking our wedding pictures. Peter was very flexible and able to work with the new environment which resulted in terrific pictures. We can tell he is very passionate about his profession as a photographer as he took every opportunity to shoot photos in the best position. We received our photos in a very reasonable time frame and they all looked amazing. We received numerous compliments on how professional the pictures look.
