Amazing photos

Gina and her husband were amazing. We love them. They kept us on track with our photos. They were well organized. They were both friendly and professional. They did everything we wanted and more. And the photos are beautiful. We are so happy they were able to capture our special day.

Fantastic Photography- Smoothest part of our Wedding Planning Experience

We worked with Gina for engagement photos and then on our wedding day. Finding a photographer we felt comfortable with and trusted was a priority in our wedding planning, knowing the photos would be how we could relive our Wedding day over and over for years to come. Communication was easy and prompt. She was truly the smoothest part of our planning process. We were fortunate to also have her husband Doug as her second photographer which made for an even better experience as they work seamlessly together, helping to move things along for efficiency, but also making sure we were able to get the specific shots we wanted. They had many unique ideas for great photos and gave us great direction which was critical in keeping the day moving. We had an amazing wedding day and were so happy with how Gina and Doug were able to capture all the special moments.

Never Had More Fun Taking Pictures!

As everyone knows posing for professional photos can be laborious and grueling but not so with Gina Halferty Photography. Gina has an innate ability to make the process stress free while constantly causing one to bust a gut laughing. My wife and I found our experience with her to be a really special moment. During the chaos and stress of the wedding our session with her was a peaceful, quiet interlude where we could be alone together and reflect on the fact we were now husband and wife, made all the better by Gina's professionalism and charm. Her shots of the reception were spot on as well, capturing all the fun of the evening. In the run up to our engagement shoot the weather wreaked havoc and we had to scramble to find a new location in time. Gina was very attentive and responsive and reassuring. The shoot was smooth and easy and fun. It was just a really great experience. They were also very prompt on photo turn around time. During the run up to our wedding they were very engaged. We felt prepared going into the day. It was also really great having her and Doug so that they could split up and catch different things throughout the day. We felt at ease and had fun while we were shooting with them which made great photos just happen. They made getting the photos and photo albums, etc afterwards very painless as well. They were very professional and transparent throughout and just a delight to work with.

Fast, Professional, and Astonishing

After working with Gina, it has become clear to us that she perceives the world differently than most people do. The photos that she took of us for both our engagement and wedding left us absolutely stunned by how beautiful a place can look if you just get the right framing, angle, or distance. For our engagmenet photos, Gina took places that we have passed by hundreds of times and made it look like they came out of a fairy tale. For our wedding, Gina captured all the key moments that brought back all the joy, bliss, and other emotions that were felt that day. No moments were left out, and we could recreate the story of that day with our loved ones just by looking through all the pictures that she and her husband Doug took.

Gina is also a very fast worker. All the pictures of our wedding were available on their website the week of our wedding so we could share them with all of our loved ones. As a plus, we received the finished product of the photos of our wedding day within 4 months of our wedding date, which was a lot faster than we had anticipated.

Gina is also very organized and easy to work with. Anything you thought of that might make your special day a little easier, she's already thought of it. She always responds to our emails and texts in a speedy manner, has very clear structures for outlining the work that she is going to do with you, is very upfront about what she can and cannot do within a specific time limit, and she is very flexible tailoring her work to what you want or need. Her sense of humor and warm personality made it very easy for us to step out of our comfort zone to take pictures that displayed more affection than we were previously comfortable with.

In conclusion, Gina is the perfect photographer you've always wanted! Her professional level of service, warm sense of humor, and astonishing photos will leave you wanting to hire her again for your next big event!

Gina's photos provided us with the perfect memories of our wedding day. From our first consultation all the way through to preparing our wedding album, Gina used her expertise to help us get the most from our pictures.

Our family was so impressed how quickly and efficiently she could marshal all 45 of them for our group picture, all while keeping us on schedule.

She implemented little personalized touches that made us feel so special and let us know how important our day was to her as well.

I would honestly recommend her to anyone for weddings, engagement, or family photos.

My husband and I used Gina Halferty Photography for our wedding in June of 2107. Gina was very professional yet easy going and friendly. Gina is such a great photographer! My husband and I first met Gina and her husband Doug at a wedding fair. We won a raffle to do an engagement photo shoot with her :D She was very professional from the beginning and the time and quality she spends on her pictures are amazing. So of course after a successful engagement shoot with Gina, we booked her for our wedding! She and her husband did such an amazing job at our wedding. They were very sweet and accommodating. They were great with time and you can just tell they work really well together. Sometimes I wish I can get married all over again just so that I can have Gina take my pictures again! I hope to work with her again in the future! Thank you Gina and Doug! You guys are the best!

Gina and her husband were so wonderful to work with on our wedding day! We had also won a free engagement session with Gina from a bridal fair and loved her work so much that we knew we had to go with her for our big day as well. She's fun, makes you feel comfortable, and provides helpful and great instruction/tips during the whole session so that you don't end up looking super awkward or weird in the photographs ;) She's very responsive via email and was always so understanding and professional. Gina Halferty is hands down an amazing photographer, my husband and I couldn't be more happy to have chosen her for our wedding day. A year prior to my wedding, I reached out to at least 10 different photographers. I chose Gina because I loved her photography style but also because she was extremely personable and happy to work with me to create an individualized photo package. During our engagement session + wedding, it was clear that she is a perfectionist when it comes to her photos. Gina is genuinely patient and takes time to get the right angle, lighting, etc. She also made sure to incorporate my favorite poses! Gina has a great sense of humor and personality; which helped my husband and I be at ease (initially we were pretty nervous, haha). Anyways, 5 stars for Gina, the quality of her work is worth every penny!

I won an engagement session from Gina through a bridal fair and was very impressed with her as a photographer and a person. She was great to work with and made the session fun! It can be awkward to stare at your partner in these "romantic" ways for all of these photos but Gina made us feel comfortable. The photos reflected who we were as a couple. Great eye as a photographer!

Gina and her team we extremely professional yet they were so calm and friendly that they blended right into our wedding.
They went above and beyond to get us all of the shots we wanted (we had a very ambitious list).
Our pictures were/are amazing and really covered every detail that we worked so hard to put together (many of them we were so impressed that they picked up on).

Their expertise in both portraits and candid imagery is impressive and we feel it made all the difference. It gave us a well rounded collection of memories.

We were so pleased and thankful that we continue to recommend them to friends and plan to use them again for future family portraits.

With all the hard work that goes into planning a wedding, choosing Gina as our photographer was delightfully easy. My wife and I booked her originally for the engagement shoot, and we loved the way the pictures turned out. Gina artfully captured the best attributes of my wife and I (we aren't photogenic people). What I appreciated most is, due to our lack of knowledge of how photo shoots work, Gina was able to make suggestions and steer us into some truly remarkable and memorable photo opportunities. This is where Gina's wealth of experience really shines: the way she set up our poses, she captured the way both my wife and I felt that day--in love.

We booked her for our wedding, and couldn't be happier with the results. Not only was Gina a wonderfully talented photographer, she was also gracious and personable, and we were delighted and comfortable with sharing our special day with her.

Gina and Doug photographed my friend’s wedding a couple years ago…They did such a fabulous job that the second I got engaged I booked them for my wedding and we hope to use them for family/kid photos down the road. They are amazing!!!! Not only did they travel far for our wedding, they went to our venue site a couple weeks before the wedding to see where the best pictures could be taken and what the lighting would look like. The day of they were organized, cheerful, flexible, and worked well with all of the wedding staff (wedding coordinator, videographer, DJ, etc.). Our family and friends have commented on how stunning our photographs turned out. We will treasure them for a lifetime. Thank you Gina and Doug!

Had the pleasure of working with Gina a year prior to our wedding. She did such a great job with our engagement session that my now husband and I didn't hesitate to book her for our summer wedding. Aside from being such a great person to work with, her photography skills are amazing. She was so on top of every detail and listened to us about how we pictured our perfect day. There were times when I would email her and she would reply very quickly, which is something that made planning a wedding extra helpful. When it came down to the big day, Gina and her husband did a great job with everything. All in all, I'm very happy and pleased to have met Gina, with such a sweet personality and amazing photography skills, I feel I couldn't have found anybody better.

Gina is Amazing! Hands down and this is why..

I met Gina and her partner at a bridal show right when I got engaged. I got her information along with a bunch of other photographers info. I had attended about 2 other bridal shows and Gina's photos still stuck out to me.
About a week later we were contacted for a free engagement photo session for winning her raffle. We met with her in the city and she was so much fun! My husband is not photogenic and she made us both feel comfortable and the photos turned out great. She does some great stuff with enhancing the light and not really touching us up. I don't like when photo shop goes to far and makes the person look unrealistic.
For the wedding her and her partner were on time, and did an amazing job at directing us on what would look best for the environment and lighting, they blended in and didn't stick cameras in our face the whole time like I have seen at other weddings. The photos were also ready on her website quickly so everyone from the wedding could look at them there instead of bugging me for them on not being able to see them at all.
I can go on and on but she deserves 10 stars for just how fun and cool she is!!

Gina Halferty Photography was the perfect fit for our wedding! Before the wedding, she did a free engagement session for us at Big Basin. She drove over two hours to take pictures for us at one of our favorite places! In addition, she met with us to make sure she knew why style and types of pictures were most important for us. At the wedding, Gina and her husband, Doug, were extremely professional and worked tirelessly the entire day to get all the pictures on our wish list. Our wish list was very ambitious, but they got all our pictures! They truly captured the feeling of our wedding. I will forever cherish the pictures and be grateful for their amazing work! We plan on using them again in the future for family photos.

Gina and Doug were AMAZING! My husband's parents said it best, "Gina captured beautiful photos of everything that mattered to us!" Gina and Doug were wonderful to work with. They had great advice, listened to what we wanted, and had great suggestions on timing, locations, and poses. They got stunning photos of just the two of us on the beach in Monterey, CA, and then great pictures with our family and friends. They captured the smallest details of my dress, flowers, rings, through to great group shots of all of our guests. The photos turned out so well - I am still receiving compliments on our favorites. I recommend Gina Halferty Photography all the time to my friends. We were so happy with our wedding photos - highly recommend them!

Look no further, she is an amazing photographer!
Gina and Doug photographed my daughter's wedding in November.
She brought to life every moment and used the beautiful setting and lighting to create pictures I can't stop looking at. They are once in a lifetime beautiful, creative and in the moment. The portrait of my daughter is priceless and looking at their photos brings back every joyous memory. She made the bride and groom feel relaxed and really listened to what they wanted. We had a tight timeline for daylight and we got every photo we wanted. She does so many thoughtful things for her clients and she is a class act. Most of all, Gina and Doug are outstanding professionals who infuse beauty and capture the magical moments so perfectly. I will never be able to adequately express my gratitude and appreciation. We can't recommend Gina enough! Our experience working with her and her husband Doug was one of the high points of our wedding. Before the wedding, Gina was attentive, detailed, flexible, and responsive, and she and her husband Doug took the time to scope out picture-perfect locations at the venue. During the wedding, their calm competence put us at ease, despite the stress of the day. Both Gina and Doug radiate good-humor that rubs off on everyone they photograph and turns each picture into a work of art. They have a rare talent for capturing special moments at just the right time from just the right angle. And when they work with groups, they are incredibly skilled in relaxing people, creating natural, beautiful poses, and making photo sessions a whole lot of fun.

The emotion, beauty and nuance that fill each one of Gina and Doug's photos blew us away when we first opened their album. Every time we return to it, we relive the joy and love we felt during our wedding--and feel grateful all over for Gina and Doug. I first met Gina at a wedding expo. I won her raffle giveaway of a free engagement photo shoot with 1 free photo. When scheduling the shoot, Gina was prompt and professional in her emails. My now husband and I wound up having a great time at the shoot. Gina helped to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. When we were were able to view the photos we loved them to much that we wound up using one of the photos as our Save The Date.

We knew after that we had to use her services for our wedding. She was such a pleasure to work with. Her husband, Doug who is also a photographer wound up helping out to take photos at our wedding as well which was a wonderful surprise! They are such a great team and made my husband, wedding party, and wedding guests feel great! Gina's attention to detail helped to capture some amazing emotions at the wedding. As shy as we are, we were so happy that Gina worked like a ninja and she captured some beautiful, awesome moments of our wedding and reception without us knowing that she was right there. She was absolutely flexible, sensitive to our needs, researched the sites in a timely fashion, and delivered photo access before we even asked for it. Gina Halferty of Gina Halferty Photography did an wonderful job on our wedding. Her and her talented and professional husband photographed our engagement and wedding photos. They were fun, personable, and a joy to work with all day. They became like friends during our wedding experience. Gina brought a fun personality and professionalism to the photo session and wedding. One of my favorite touches was when she provided cards to pass out at the wedding that contained a link for family and friends to view the wedding photos. I would and do recommend Gina to any Bride in search of a great photographer.

Gina's gift as a photographer is that she really listens to her clients and works with them to create an artistic product that they'll cherish. The first time we met with Gina as our potential wedding photographer she had already researched our venue and had many creative ideas for photos. She really got to know us as people and incorporated our interests and personalities into her plan. No other photographer we met with treated us this way, and it was an easy choice to book her for our wedding. She became not only our photographer, but a great supporter through the whole process. During the wedding, she and her husband seamlessly captured the highlights of the day without being intrusive or time-consuming. Our videographer commented that he had never worked so well with a photographer before ( she was gracious to their artistic process). After the wedding, it was only a few short weeks before we got to see our photos. Many couples we spoke with on our honeymoon told us they had to wait over a year to get their photos back! Our photos are breathtaking and we couldn't be happier with them. Gina was patient during the wedding album revision process and allowed us as much time and revision as we needed. Working with her has been an absolute dream and we plan to book her again for any of our future professional photo needs.

Gina and her husband Doug worked very well together as a team at our wedding. She had already impressed us when she took our engagement photos (which we won in a drawing at a bridal fare) by being professional, creative, patient, and helpful when we had not even planned to use her for our wedding. All the products and performance which were in the contract were delivered on time and to our expectations, plus Gina was very accommodating to our special requests, including last minute changes and upgrades to the wedding albums. She did all the pre-wedding preparation, including checking various camera angles and settings at our wedding venue in advance, and reviewing/recommending our options with us. We've been very impressed and happy with all our dealings with Gina.

It was a pleasure working with Gina and her husband. Gina is very friendly and easy to work with. She is quick to respond and easy to get a hold of. I recommend doing an engagement photo session with her to get a better idea of how she works and her style of photography.
