My fiance and I looked at many venues - most barns that had been renovated as a venue. The Historic Round Barn felt like home for me. It was the ceremony site that sold me - looking out over the orchards up in the woods was everything I had imagined for a wedding ceremony. The venue is also so unique! Barns are so popular at the moment, but many look the same. The Round Barn has embraced its rustic charm in a way that others do not. When looking at the venue during the day it can be hard to imagine what it will look like decorated - but the barn really comes alive at night with the lights and decor you add. Plus Jess has tons of items for decorating at your disposal! She also allows any vendor you choose - but also provides a list of recommended vendors (which really helps!).
Jess and her team did such an amazing job keeping things running smoothly during our wedding. I know there were many fires they put out that I still don't know about (which is what every bride wants!). They checked in with me throughout as needed, but mostly were behind the scenes, making sure myself and my fiance could have a good time! Another added bonus for the venue is there are no other weddings planned the weekend you book the barn. We had access from Thursday through Sunday to set up and then clean up. This was a HUGE perk and not something most other venues offer. I was able to take my time decorating and deciding on layout and had plenty of time to clean up the next day, without feeling rushed.
I am so thrilled we chose the Round Barn for our wedding. We have received endless complements on the venue and how unqiue and cool it was. It made our wedding even more special. Jess and Rachel were great to work with, answering any and all questions I had and even reviewing our day of timeline in advance and giving feedback on things that needed adjusted. I had no worries things wouldn't go exactly as to planned (or as close as they can for a wedding) and I was able to enjoy our big day with as little stress as possible.The Historic Round Barn's reply:

The Historic Round Barn was one of the best decisions I made about our wedding. The location and vibe of the barn fit our theme perfectly (Appily Ever After). They were very accommodating and made sure everything was executed smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day. Another plus is all of the beautiful places to take photos.The Historic Round Barn's reply:

Absolutely fabulous!
I would recommend the Round Barn 1 million times over!!! Everything about the venue is beyond perfect. I can't thank them enough for making our day so stress free and beautiful. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Seriously don't look any further.The Historic Round Barn's reply:

User6166029 Sent on 09/27/2014All I can ever remember is wanting to have a rustic wedding. We found the history round barn and after going to view the venue it was breathtaking. I was set on a simple outdoor Wedding in the field. But little did we know that the owners of the barn were building an outdoor chapel in the woods that overlooked the apple orchards. So we married in a chapel in the wood and had our reception and the beautifully structured barn. I could not have asked for a better venue and Tonya was a great help! Thank you Knouse fruitlands. -
User2135755 Sent on 05/17/2015Absolutely beautiful venue. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to embrace our vision. Definitely has the rustic look many brides are searching for. Amazing ceremony space in the forest overlooking the barn and the apple orchards with handmade wooden benches. Beautiful, original, 1 of a kind, barn for the reception. Just gorgeous. Also have many items available to rent on-site and lighting is already in the barn.
