We had our DREAM wedding at the Georgian Hall! The space was beautiful and functional for our guests, and the team (Lindsey and Meagan) were fantastic to work with throughout the planning process. Not to mention the catering at the Georgian is INCREDIBLE - our guests cannot stop talking about it even two months after our wedding! The service by the Georgian team on our day was also top-notch. From the first phone call made to Georgian Hall I could tell they knew their business and my event would be perfect! So kind and pleasant to work with and very quick to reply to any questions! Would love to host another event at Georgian Hall! -

Lauren and Lindsey helped to make the wedding planning process seamless and easy! The food, beverages, staff, and venue are fantastic! It was a dream wedding venue and I can't recommend it enough! Our guests were in awe as well! -

Choosing the Georgian was the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. I’d dreamed of getting married there for years and they made sure everything was perfect. The commutation was great and I didn’t have to worry about a thing during the best day of my life! -

We had our rehearsal dinner here and it exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible, the staff was so helpful, and the set-up was painless. They were easy to work with and responsive. We received so many compliments from our guests. Would definitely recommend this venue to anyone we know. -

Rehearsal Dinner at Georgian Hall
I could not have been happier with our Rehearsal Dinner at Georgian Hall in December 2022! Our venue manager was very professional, easy to work with, answered all my questions promptly and thoroughly, and had me feeling at ease throughout the entire process. Even with my not being able to attend a tasting or ever seeing the actual venue space, I felt like I was in good hands. The space is beautiful and it is a real plus that they are associated with South Kitchen where the food is known to be excellent. That really cut down the stress level knowing that I didn’t have to pick an outside caterer and the food we picked was outstanding! My guests all raved about my event and the staff was fabulous.

Our family picked Georgian Hall as the venue for the Rehearsal Dinner for our son and his bride. The experience was made easy from the initial booking until the night of the event. Lindsey and Shannon were a delight to work with. The entire staff made our event seen effortless as professionals. Our evening was perfect! Georgian Hall is beautiful and the food catered by South Kitchen was off the charts Delicious! We’ve had so many compliments from our guests on the venue and food. The bartender and servers were friendly and courteous. Thank you Shannon for helping us organize and create the perfect evening. The Andersons -

Best Venue You could ask for
Deciding to go with Georgian Hall for my wedding reception was the best decision I made besides marrying my husband of course. The food was amazing, our guest can not stop raving about it. All the food is catered by the restaurant in the same building. When we went to our tasting, all the food was delicious it was so hard to decide what to serve at our reception.
The events team is great, they are very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure our day turned out perfect. There are lots of emailing back and forth to make sure they have every detail down, and once you have the final headcount they send you a 3D rendering of what the space layout. It was really a one stop shop, they provided all the tables, chairs, linens, dishes, flatware, cake stand, etc. Also they linens don't have to just be white or ivory. You have lots of colors to choose from and they give you the option to upgrade them to fancier linens for a small fee.
The Venue is somewhat small, it was the perfect size for my wedding which we had around 95 people. I would say anything bigger than that it might be a tight squeeze for a sit down dinner.
Overall it was a great experience and I don't have a single complaint. -

My family used Georgian Hall for my brother's rehearsal dinner, and it was everything we could have asked for and more. Shannon and Lindsey were exception and so was the food and venue itself. Can't recommend them enough! -

Georgian Hall is your one stop shop to have an AMAZING, stress-free wedding of your dreams. The team is beyond knowledgeable, quick, honest, and so incredibly hardworking. They went above and beyond by accommodating every request and answering all of our questions, regardless of how small. The food from South Kitchen was amazing, as many of our guests said it was "the best food they've ever had at a wedding by a long shot". This venue just made wedding planning so easy and seamless - from the food/drink, florist, band set-up, and all the other details were handled by the team with ease and professionalism. Thank you SO much Georgian Hall Team!!!! -

Georgian Hall was the absolute perfect venue for us! The venue itself is already stunning without having to add a lot of "extra." The catering by South Kitchen is also a major plus! From the initial venue tour, to the tasting, to the final walkthrough, to the wedding day, the process was seamless and the staff was on top of everything! -

Absolutely hands down my daughters wedding couldn’t have been any better!! Maddie and Lindsey were the two I worked with the most and they were ALWAYS so kind, patient (I must’ve sent 1000 emails ) , calm, organized , punctual to every meeting , and so talented at what they do! They helped me give my one and only the wedding of her dreams ! Maddie was always so quick to respond to my calls and/or emails and was also so gracious! She always met me with a smile and always went out of her way to meet me at extra times if I just needed to see something one more time! The day of went perfect! Lindsey always made sure the bride and groom as well as myself had something to drink as well as fixed us a plate to make sure we ate! She was very attentive! They worked very well with all of my vendors! Everyone had a fantastic time and are still talking about “how charming the venue is” and how much fun we all had and how delicious the food was! It was all absolutely amazing ! I cannot put into adequate words how wonderful everything was and how easy they are to work with! If you want a flawless start to finish wedding with people who are so good at what they do - don’t hesitate to give them a call and book your wedding at Georgian Hall! -

Perfect Athens wedding venue!!
I would have had my wedding reception at no other location in Athens!! Maddie and Lindsey are so organized and detail oriented and were so attentive to our every need. The planning process was so easy and stress-free, Maddie was always so quick to respond to emails, several times after normal business hours! She was able to answer all of our questions in detail and even if she didn't have the answer right away, she would check with the appropriate person and get back to us ASAP. However, we didn't have that many questions because Maddie seemed to think of everything, several things that we didn't even know to ask and hadn't thought about! Another pro, we used several different vendors, most had a history of working at the Georgian and were so excited to hear that was our venue, and Maddie worked so well with all of them. Every staff member did a fantastic job and we are so grateful that the Georgian team worked so hard to make our wedding the perfect night :) -

I had my wedding at Georgian Hall and it was AMAZING!! Not only is the venue space absolutely gorgeous but the team there is the best!! Lindsey & Maddie were so helpful from the very beginning! They answered every question, calmed our nerves around the pandemic and were SO responsive. Every request I had, they made it happen! I can't thank them enough for making my dream wedding happen!! -

Georgian Hall- Flawless Planning & Execution
We hosted our son and now daughter's Rehearsal Dinner at the Georgian Hall and we could not have been happier!!
The venue, the staff & service and especially the food was spectacular!
I received so many positive comments from our guests about every detail. It is a gorgeous place and the venue coordinators are amazing.
Maddie never missed a thing...she was a pleasure to work with and very professional. She made it super easy to plan since she was on top of everything!
Thank you to the staff at Georgian Hall for planning and executing a flawless special family event!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Georgian Hall and Paige and the rest of the team couldn't have done a more fantastic job. They were such a joy to work with and made the process such a breeze. The space was gorgeous, the service was impeccable, and the food was out of sight. They were also so incredibly accommodating and flexible when I postponed a full year due to Covid. I would choose Georgian Hall as my venue a million times over. -

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Georgian and Lindsey and Maddie were excellent to work with. We had a lot of changes secondary to COVID and they were incredibly flexible, understanding, and accommodating with each change. The food was phenomenal and the service was outstanding. Our guests felt comfortable and well taken care of all night. It was also the perfect location and a beautiful historic building. We cannot recommend the Georgian enough! -

My husband and I had the reception of our dreams at the Georgian Hall! From the passed hors d'oeuvres, incredible food stations, amazing staff and beautiful space, we could not have asked for a better night. Our guests are still going on and on about how much they loved the night at the Georgian Hall (and the shrimp and grit station was an absolute hit!). In addition, the Georgian Hall ensured we felt safe in the space during COVID. Maddie and Lindsey went above and beyond to support me throughout this process, especially as a very stressed out COVID bride! -

My husband and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding! Not only was the space absolutely stunning with its stained glass windows, tiled floor, and stately columns, but our coordinators were also a dream to work with. Lindsey, Lisa, and Maddie were always prompt with answering my emails, and they gave me so much encouragement along the way. The Georgian also streamlined the daunting wedding process for us since they handle all of the food, the linens, the tables/chairs, and set up. The food was delicious too! We can highly recommend the Georgian for your next big event! -

Georgian Hall made all of our wedding dreams come true. From the moment we stepped into the venue on a tour, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. It’s classic and elegant ballroom is breathtaking enough; however, we underestimated the incredible team behind those gorgeous wood doors! Lindsey, Lisa, and Maddie are a dream team. Through the entire process, they were informative, helpful, calmed all of our nerves, and just overall wonderful people! After every meeting we had with them, my fiancé and I would always leave feeling reassured about our day and feeling so lucky to have the opportunity to work with them. You can trust this team to accommodate to their best of abilities all of your wishes and requests. They even worked so well with a couple of our other vendors who had never worked an event at Georgian Hall. We can’t say enough good things about this venue and their incredible staff! -

My husband and I could not have asked for a better reception than ours at the Georgian Hall. Upon our first visit we were still between venues but Lindsey's knowledge on every detail of the building and the location being so convenient (in the heart of downtown Athens) made our ultimate choice a no-brainer. The space is so beautiful and elegant; the old-meets-new charm cannot be replicated and it photographed so perfectly! As if everything wasn't perfect enough, THE FOOD cannot be beat! I have heard from so many of our guests about how impressed they were by each food station and a lot of people have said it's the best wedding food they have ever experienced. We may be biased but definitely agree with them. I would recommend the Georgian Hall to absolutely anyone - everyone was so easy to work with and allowed us to give our reception as much personality as we wanted. We will forever cherish every memory from our engagement and wedding weekend knowing the Georgian Hall was the highlight! -

Georgian Hall was an absolute dream come true for my husband and I - we originally booked our reception to be there after a ceremony elsewhere in Athens and then COVID hit. We were able to move our event completely to the Georgian and were able to change the date twice with the help of Lindsey. Lisa helped first and then came Paige and Maddie. All were so wonderful and on top of it. If you want a nice wedding steps from DT Athens, here’s your spot!
