Love Personified

Where to even begin about this gem of a human and her amazing skills? I know I am one of so many that has gushed about Genica, but I’m here to add to the heap of love. The hype is real, y’all. Genica immediately put my mind at ease with her calm vibes and easy conversation. I felt like I made a new friend! Her dog Mabel tagged along and is seriously the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Genica was so patient with my mom who’s super finicky about her hair, and made her look like a goddess. She listened to what I wanted and executed my vision flawlessly. I told her I didn’t want to wear foundation and she was able to buff concealer here and there to perfect the look. I am so picky about makeup and hair, and had seriously considered doing it myself, especially after I wasn’t crazy about my hometown trial. I’m so glad I didn’t, this woman knows her industry! I felt so beautiful, and more importantly, I felt like myself. Amazingly, the makeup held all day. Genica, you are an absolute doll and your skill set is top notch. Thank you a thousand times for your role in such an important day!

Talented and All Around Amazing Person

Just hire her. She is amazing. I don't even know where to begin. She is incredibly talented and just a wonderful person to be around. She makes you feel comfortable from the start. While she is very talented, she is open to any feedback. I had a trial run of hair and makeup prior to my wedding and she made sure to ask multiple times if I had any comments about things I would want to change (immediately after the trial, a couple days later, and prior to applying the makeup for my wedding). As for how well the makeup lasted, it stayed put throughout my wedding and reception and I never had to mess with it all. My hair also stayed how she styled it despite some strong wind. Could not recommend her more highly.

Beauty from the inside out!

Genica is one of the most beautiful and bright souls I have ever met. I think in the beauty industry there is a lot of "fake" beauty circling around us. For me that is one of the most unattractive things and I don't like surrounding myself around that. I was really nervous hiring a MUA for my wedding day for that reason. I was battling a lot of insecurity and doubt, even leading up to my wedding day. Genica was a breath of fresh air and really grounded me and set the tone first thing in the morning. She nailed my bridal look, she totally kept to my vision, but also added elements I wasn't even thinking about. The whole time she was doing my makeup and hair we were talking about LOVE, all LOVE. It seriously made my feel beautiful on the side and then the work she did on the outside just made beauty radiate from me all day on my wedding day. I give a lot of credit to Genica for setting that tone for me. She is filled with so much grace, love, and light and it is infectious. She was so much more than just a MUA on my wedding day, she really was a Godsent.

Turned me into a starry eyed beauty!

Genica was fantastic to work with. I couldn’t ask for better. She was easy to communicate with, responsive, and really seemed to understand my trepidation about makeup, since I hardly ever wear any. I felt so very at ease with her! I opted to pay a little extra for a trial run, and it was well worth it. I was so excited and confident about what would happen for my big day - there was not a moments hesitation or trepidation! I absolutely loved what she did for my hair. With my fine wimpy locks, I felt like a regal princess without feeling overdone. It was so nice to feel so good!!!

10/10 Amazing for my wedding

Her skills are top notch, she's so nice and professional while also being like your best friend. I couldn't have made a better choice for my wedding. She did my hair and makeup together and I looked STUNNING. My whole family was shocked how beautiful I looked. She even made my mom cry by asking her sweet questions about me and my husband. I love her.

Transformed frizzy unmanageable hair and erased age

I am a ‘mature’ bride, with thin, frizzy hair. In less than 90 minutes, Genica erased 15 years from my face through expert makeup techniques. More importantly, she transformed my hair into smooth, shiny, touchable tresses. My hairstyle lasted three days! AND she was incredibly sweet and helped calm my nerves. She was amazing!

Would have paid her just for her emails

Genica was, besides my mother, perhaps the most excited person about my wedding. Her big sister energy was sooo appreciated during the crazy process of planning a wedding from out-of-state.

Hair Goddess

Genica did my hair for my elopement and I can't believe how amazing it came out. I travelled from across the country, so didn't have a trial. I showed her a few photos of hairstyles that I liked and she immediately knew what to do. I still cant believe how beautifully it came out! We hiked to our wedding location and throughout the day my hair remained perfect! Not to mention, Genica is so, so sweet & fun. Simply the best!

Best makeup and hair artist in ABQ - BOOK HER NOW!!!

If you want to feel (and look) like a princess on your wedding day, hire Genica. She is truly in love with love and will make you feel beautiful, pampered, and gorgeous.

I had 4 total in my wedding party (myself, mother of the bride, and 2 bridesmaids). Both of my girls looked gorgeous and could not stop looking at themselves after Genica was done. My mama looked beautiful and, most of all, I wanted to cry at how lovely my makeup came out.

I worked in makeup for some time and am usually picky about how my makeup looked but Genica is true artist and made sure I looked how I wanted to. I cannot recommend Genica enough. Do yourself a huge favor and hire her now! She is worth every penny and more!!

Genica is the best!!!!

Oh man, I can't recommend Genica enough!!!! Let me start by saying that I am not one to let people touch my hair or make up- I have truly hated every prom, homecoming, or special event hair/make up I've had done, so I was worried about hiring a HMUA for the wedding. If this is you, please know that Genica is a totally different story- she made me feel so comfortable, confident, and beautiful, and is SO skilled at what she does. She is truly a joy to be around. She makes you feel like a literal celebrity, and truly cares about getting to know her clients. Her work is incredible! She perfectly highlights features without looking cakey, clumpy, or overdone. My mom and I both felt so beautiful on my wedding day, and the ease of not having to worry about doing your own hair and make up is priceless. For my hair, she did beautiful braids, and she artfully arranged flower pins and a crystal accessory. Seriously, stunning. She listens to what you want and then executes it in a way that's better than you could imagine! If you are a nervous bride like I was, just work with Genica- you will look and feel like an absolute princess

Warm, Talented HMUA

Genica was amazing to work with. We needed hair and makeup for 4 ladies. That being said, none of us are make up people. Great experience even as someone not used to getting H&M done!

Genica did my hair and makeup for my wedding a couple of months ago and she was great! I usually wear minimal makeup and don’t do much with my hair. She was super friendly and great at making me feel at ease while going through a process that I wasn’t accustomed to. After we did the trial session, I had some thoughts about how I wanted my look to be different on the day of, and she was great at receiving feedback. We talked through what I was going for again, and she changed her approach to reflect what I was looking for. Throughout our planning process, she was very accessible by email and always replied quickly and was also easy to reach by phone. On the day of our wedding, she was super prompt and got everything done quickly and did a great job! Although I cried a lot during our ceremony and danced like a crazy person, makeup and hair all stayed intact from when she left at 11am through the afterparty at 2am. Strongly recommend Genica!

Sweetness encarnate!

Genica is an absolute doll! She made me and my whole family feel comfortable and well loved during the prepping with her engaging conversation and beautiful nature. I absolutely adored working with her as she's a fascinating woman witha heart the size of Texas. When I asked for more natural, subdued makeup, she happily obliged. Even though I was concerned it was still too much (since I don't usually wear any makeup) when I saw it outside it was absolutely perfect. My hair was gorgeous and even held up to a whole night of fast swing dancing! I can't recommend this beautiful soul enough.

Genica is so kind, talented and wonderful to work with! She did my hair/makeup trial the week of the wedding and I felt so comfortable having her with us on the wedding day! Her assistant Caitlyn was also so sweet and talented! Everyone’s hair and make up looked just as beautiful at the end of the night as it did in the morning! (Even after an outdoor ceremony, mariachi parade and cocktail hour in the Santa Fe wind!) She was able to give everyone the exact look they wanted & we all felt so beautiful! Genica really listens to what you want but still offers her opinion because she does have so much experience and such a great eye. 10/10 she is the best!!!!!

So fun to work with! Beautiful job!

Genica was so much fun to work with, and does incredible work. She's a very relaxed woman, which was a welcome presence on my wedding day. She was able to hang out with all of my crazy bridesmaids, my mother and mother-in-law, and all of us at once! She did hair for the moms and bridesmaids, which all turned out beautifully, and finished with my hair and make-up. She gave me a lot of reassuring words and some final moments of peace and relaxation before everything got crazy, which I was so incredibly thankful for. And she did a phenomenal job! Incredible stylist!

Genica captured the exact look that I wanted for my wedding day--she totally NAILED it! I wanted an updo, and she made it look exactly like the photo I showed her (even though my hair was thinner than that in the photo). She is incredibly kind and a joy to work with. I loved having her as part of my wedding day! When I looked back at wedding photos, I thought wow what if I hadn't found Genica to do my hair and makeup because it seriously looks amazing and held up so well in the 30 mph winds we encountered on our day. At the end of my wedding, we did sunset photos and my hair and makeup still looked perfect 10 hours later! Genica made all my wedding beauty dreams come true while keeping my look authentically me, and I highly recommend her for hair and makeup services!

It's hard to express how wonderful Genica is! On your wedding day she will take all the beauty inside of you and put it on the outside. She's so amazing at what she does, she takes care to understand what you want, but she also has such a good vision for what works with your skin/hair/eyes etc! Her photos speak for themselves, but I have never felt so pretty and yet so me! Not to mention that she's such a wonderful human and a pleasure to be around on your special day! I cried my way through my wedding, paraded around outside in a thunderstorm and a rainy cocktail hour and my makeup and hair held through it all! Don't even hesitate to book Genica!

Do yourself a favor and book this beautiful soul to do your hair and makeup for your big day. Genica is skilled, patient, and knowledgeable in her art and I assure you that you can trust her to make sure every hair is in place for the entire day. I seriously cried at least 3 times and my eye and face makeup didn't budge. She makes you feel comfortable right away and will make your dream look become reality. I waited until the last possible moment to wash off my makeup that night because it STILL looked so good even 12 hours later!! Don't be dumb and not hire Genica. She. Is. The. Best.

Genica should be one of the first vendors you book! Everyone looked absolutely beautiful on the day of my daughter's wedding. She and her assistant arrived on time and set up in the suite. She added to the calm nature of the day. She listened to what my daughter wanted for herself and for her bridesmaids. EVERYONE commented on how beautiful the wedding party looked. I will always highly recommend Genica. She was fabulous on my day. She arrived very punctually on my wedding day, and our designated "getting ready room" wasn't ready so we had to go to another room. Half way through we got the call our room was ready, she was very flexible with changing rooms. I provided her with a makeup item I had purchased myself, and she had no problem incorporating it into my look. She is friendly and easy to get along with. She gave me a sense of reassurance on my big day when I was having my meltdowns (because lets face it, you know its going to happen) And I could not have been happier with the end result. Genica is absolutely fabulous!

Genica is the kindest and most loving soul you'll ever meet. I knew she was going to be amazing in her work from our consult, but what really sold me was her personality and thoughtfulness. She is an incredibly professional person but doesn't put aside being a beautiful human being. I would recommend her to anyone for any occasion. So much love to her!

Genica was so wonderful to work with!! She has the sweetest soul and is incredibly talented. We did a trail run and she was not only amazingly quick, but spot on. First run was absolutely perfect! She was also so patient and helpful along the way (with all my questions and lack of knowledge in the beauty area).
On the wedding day she came up to Santa Fe to do my hair, as well as 6 other ladies. She tracked me down and jumped right in. Everyone's hair looked just amazing, we were so thrilled! When she was about to finish up, she put flowers in my hair. Genica then decided that all of the other ladies needed some as well. So sweet of her to want to go back through everyone and do that. It was the perfect touch, just gorgeous!
I am so thrilled with Genica Lee!! It was so much fun to work with her and my hair was just incredible! Loved the entire experience.

Genica did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup! I wasn't able to do a trial because I was planning the wedding from a different place but she was able to capture exactly what I wanted. She was recommended by a friend, and was such a great value. Not only was I incredibly happy with how my hair and make up turned out, but I really enjoyed talking to her throughout the process. My sister also loved her makeup. I highly recommend her!

Genica is the absolute best! Due to my own time restraints, I didn't have time for a trial run of hair and makeup, but Genica truly listened to my desired look and totally nailed it! She's endlessly gracious and affirming, and she moves mountains to work with you. From coming to my in-laws' house for a makeup trial to arriving early to do my makeup on my wedding day (immediately after working on another wedding, no less), she was a joy to work with! Genica was a complete joy to work with from beginning to end. She came into my family home to do my hair & make up for my wedding plus 2 bridesmaids and she was such a gentle, sweet professional. Genica did a wonderful job with my hair and makeup for my wedding. I completely changed my mind after we did my trial 3 months prior to the wedding, and she understood and worked with me to create sheer but beautiful makeup and hair that was totally me. She also did my 3 junior bridesmaids/flower girls and completely made their day with their beautiful hair styles. She did my mother's hair and makeup as well and she looked gorgeous. Genica is simply amazing! This was my second time to ever have my hair and makeup done by a professional, and to be honest I was a bit worried. The first time was at my brother's wedding where I was a bridesmaid, and it turned out really strange to say the least. I could never pull off a thick makeup look, and so when I showed that makeup artist a picture of what I was wanting which was a very simple look, it didn't look anywhere close to it! I had eyeliner as thick as a bush! But with Genica, she took one look at the makeup style I was wanting and went straight to work. It turned out perfect! For my wedding day, I wanted that flawless Korean wedding day no-makeup look. Now I know that may sound contradictory to the point of having your makeup done, but there really is a difference. And I have to say, Genica did it perfectly! Not only did she complete my hair and makeup beautifully, she did it all while making me feel so comfortable. If there was something that I didn't like 100%, she changed it immediately and kept reassuring me that it didn't bother her at all (I don't like bothering people...). She also made me feel so beautiful! Now, I've always thought I looked average at best, but she really made me feel like a princess, not with the way she did my hair and makeup, but with her words. And I could tell she was genuine with her compliments, which made me feel so good! I already miss her :)

If you are wanting a hair and makeup artist who will do everything to perfectiom, look no further and go with Genica!

Genica was absolutely wonderful to work with. Not only did she make me and my bridal party look gorgeous but she made us feel so taken care of. I live in NYC and was doing a destination wedding in ABQ at Los Poblanos and contacted Genica thanks to her glowing reviews. When I went out for a planning trip with two of my bridesmaids, she graciously got together with us for lunch to get to know me better and find out more about my dream look. After that, we were in contact frequently and she did a wonderful trial session for me in NYC when she was in town, since it hadn't worked out for me to have one in ABQ. She was so accommodating and always made me feel beautiful. The day of the wedding itself was a dream. She kept all my girls happy and everyone had their own unique look to suit their tastes. I felt like a goddess when she was done with me and I'm sad it's all over since I won't see her again for such a long time! I cannot recommend her enough. 100% perfection.

There are seriously not enough words to describe how grateful I am to have found Genica to do my wedding hair & makeup. She not only is crazy talented at what she does, she is also a beautiful person (inside & out!), and her calming presence on the wedding day was invaluable. She was flexible, on-time, and just full of "yes" - I didn't have a finalized headcount of friends and family who wanted H/MU until a few days before the wedding, and she was still able to accommodate with the right number of amazing assistants.

From the beginning, she was super responsive and helpful in answering all my questions. She took time out of her busy schedule to come to my house for the trial run (something I'm SO glad we did - even though we went with a slightly different style on the day of the wedding, it was helpful to get an idea of what does and doesn't work...and getting to spend more time with this awesome lady was an obvious plus!). She was open to my comments, but then also gave her professional advice when I didn't know what I wanted (and as someone who is not used to wearing proper makeup and having fancy hair, I definitely needed that).

On the day of the wedding I was way more nervous than I expected to be, and Genica gave me all the quiet I needed as she worked her magic on me. This quiet time was perfect for setting me up to be present for that special day, and her mad beauty skills made me feel so beautiful and confident the whole day long.

And I don't mean to put him on blast, but just to give her full credit, the groom totally cried happy tears when he saw me ;-P

I can't say enough nice things about Genica. I was very nervous when I started the process of finding a make up artist for my big day because I hardly wear any make up. Thankfully my awesome photographer sent me Genica's way with a great referral. After my first correspondence with Genica I could tell how sweet and genuine she is. She actually already had a wedding booked on our wedding day but graciously made time in her busy schedule to accommodate myself, my mom and 4 of my bridesmaids before she had to go doll up her other wedding party. When I met her at my trail (which she drove to my house to do) I felt so comfortable with her. She is just the sweetest and has the warmest spirit. My make up was EXACTLY what I wanted, so natural and beautiful. She truly made me feel like a princess on my big day and my mom and all of my girls looked stunning! I absolutely loved working with Genica for my wedding. She was extremely responsive from the beginning, and her enthusiasm put a huge smile on my face, even in the midst of crazy wedding stress. I was so excited to meet her at my bridal hair and makeup trial, and fell in love with her sweet and genuine personality. Not only did she do a fantastic job with with my hair and makeup (I've never felt prettier!), but she was so fun to talk to and made me feel like a million bucks, on the inside and out. I had an amazing experience with Genica. She did my hair and makeup, all three of my bridesmaids, and my grandma... on location!! Everyone looked amazing!
She did a trial with me months before the wedding. A month later I changed my mind about the hair style. So on my wedding day, thanks to my indecisiveness, she had to wing it. She did a wonderful job! My hair and make up looked spectacular on the big day. My makeup was flawless all night... until my husband smeared cake all over my mouth and cheek, but even after clean up, then the makeup looked fantastic.
I couldn't have made a better decision to have Genica take care of me and my gals. We didn't have to drive to a salon or deal with the chaos. She showed up early and finished on time. I even gained a great friend in the process. I highly recommend Genica's services. Thank you!

She took my tips as to what colors/looks I wanted for my wedding day and was able to exceed my expectations. I had eyelashes applied which stayed on without a problem all night. My makeup stayed practically flawless throughout the day/evening. My hair was longer than what I had anticipated, yet she was able to come up with a last-minute hairdo which is still the talk among all my friends and family. It was stunning!! Genica is a purely sweet, kind person and so skilled and talented in her work. I get to know Genica of her great reviews and happily she was even better than the reviews. She is very good on responding emails quickly and hearing your requirements. Because of living in California, our contact was merely emails and I only see her on my wedding day. She was very good at timing and she exactly knew how much time is needed for my hair and face make-up. Of course, it was my wedding and I was really nervous but Genica was so kind talking to me during preparation and made me so much calm. That’s the main reason I believe she is so pleasant and wonderful. For the make up, she listened to my needs and apply them the way I liked. She checked the colors of all makes up with me and never put something without consulting to me. She was very good at listening even she carefully listened and understand my brides maid idea about my make up. Genia did an incredible job with my hair. I showed her only a picture of my favorite hair style and by one look she made that hair style for me exactly the same. I was marveled and amazed on that. I got so many compliments on my make up which was beautiful and natural. Both my hair and make up were stayed for a long time. I constantly danced and jumped up and down for 5 hours after the ceremony but my hair didn’t change it’s shape even a little bit. The eyelash she put on me was pretty good and never annoyed me even I weared contact lenses.
She also did my bridesmaid hair style and they were so delighted with it and their experience with Genica. We had so much fun, laughing and joy during our preparation with her and my bridesmaid. She is such a sweet incredibly lovely person.

Genica is amazing. Not only is she great at what she does - everyone loved their hair and makeup (bridesmaids, my mom, my grandma, me!), but she's the exact type of person you want with you the morning of your wedding. She's calm but upbeat. She's super sweet and very happy.

I had my hair and makeup trial but wasn't going to be back in town again until the wedding, so when I told her (the day of the wedding) that I wanted something different (decided once and for all that my hair doesn't want to go up or stay up so why bother fighting it), she didn't bat an eye. Not a problem!

Genica was wonderful to work with for hair and makeup for my wedding. She was so flexible for the hair and makeup trial, which ended up being on different days and made the wedding day so stress free. Being from Texas, I did not have any real recommendations on who to use and I completely lucked out. I recommend her wholeheartedly.

Genica Lee is absolutely AWESOME! She was recommended to me by my photographer at SweetWilliamsPhotography. I did a lot of research and was excited that she worked at the New York Fashion Week before. I mean... how cool is that!?!?! I was afraid she was going to be expensive but it turned out to be in the average price range. The quality of her work is far superior than most! She is worth every penny I spent and then some!!! She is very flexible with my schedule. I work until 6pm every day so it was nice that she came to my house to do the hair and make up trial. I looked up some bridal pictures online to show her a few ideas I had. I normally only wear an eye liner for my "make up" so getting my face totally covered with make up horrified me at first. Genica put that to rest. She listened to my needs and understood that I want a natural look. Then she added her own extra touch with making my eyes popped and that was totally awesome. She uses high end products. It felt like whatever stuff that she put on just got absorbed and blended to my skin. My face didn't feel sticky or flakey or oily after 8 hours. My hair was like princess hair. She braided in a string of pearls. The contrast of the white pearls against my dark hair was genius. There was a lot of bobby pins in my hair but none of them showed or hurt my scalp. My hair stayed put. I was dancing and pumping to the music all night at the reception and I got no flyaways, no white flaky things from the spray. Genica also went above and beyond her call of duty by helping me talk my mom out of wearing a giant gangster style gold chains the size of my finger. That was starting to stress me out but luckily my mom listened to her and wore a pearl necklace instead :) I can't thank her enough for that. I can rave on and on about Genica... but the bottom line is this; she is absolutely AMAZING and she made me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world!!!

I loved working with Genica! She is not only a talented artist but is also an amazing person to be around!! Genica traveled to Santa Fe the day of my wedding to do my hair and make-up for the wedding. We had a total of 4 girls, including myself. No one was rushed or hurried or overlooked in any way. She listened to the overall look we were going for and executed it beautifully! She also made everyone she worked with feel important and lovely. Everyone looked amazing! She also has very good pricing!!! I highly recommend using this amazing lady for your hair and make up needs!! xo

Dear Lord is Genica a treasure. Not only is she a talented auteur of makeup/hair, she is also a wonderful and pleasant human being to be around. She did my mother's hair and makeup and managed to put her at ease about the big day at the same time. She did my hair and makeup as well, and it was GORGEOUS. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful human being. She is exactly the kind of person you want to be around during your crazy big day.

Amazing! Best wedding decision I made! Genica came out to Hacienda Vargas in Algodones for no additional charge. I am not a girly girl so I didn't feel confident doing my own make up. I wanted to feel pretty and look 'different' for my wedding but still look natural. Genica got it perfect, she made me feel like a beautiful bride. I can not even express how in debt I am to her! Thank you Genica!!

I struggled to find a hair and make-up (HMU) artist for our wedding day and was getting nervous with how little time I had left to book someone. My two criteria: a HMU artist that I felt comfortable with and trusted and someone who could come to the wedding venue versus us having to go to them. Genica delivered on both! From our first conversation on the phone, to text messages and emails nailing down details of wedding party and timeline, Genica was very responsive in our communications and flexible with the changing needs of my bridal party. She also helped coordinate my HMU trial with a photographer for a boudoir shoot. We met for the trial and I instantly felt a sense of calm around Genica. She is such a sweetheart and just exudes passion for her craft. I had a general idea of the look I wanted but nothing specific. I showed Genica a couple pictures and let her do her thing- and I LOVED the look! Genica made sure to open the door for any feedback or changes that I might like to make. On top of the HMU trial and the planned wedding day services, I (last minute) asked Genica to help with my HMU for our small church ceremony the day prior. She happily accepted and drove to my house bright and early (just before 7am) to do my HMU for our church ceremony at 10am. The next day (the BIG wedding day), Genica and her assistant arrived by 9am, with big sunglasses, awesome gold cowboy boots, a wagon full of gear- all smiles, ready to rock it. She was such a big part of making our wedding day special. She set the tone for all the girls who were part of the wedding by working with the look they wanted and helping make them feel even more beautiful. In the end, Genica and her assistant provided HMU services for (8 people): MOB, MIL, 3 bridesmaids, and myself, and hair for sister in law and flower girl. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out. Genica captured each girl's beauty and amplified it. Genica is a gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend her!

Genica Lee was the most amazing blessing to have do the HMU for myself and my bridesmaids. She brought out beauty in me that I didn't even know I had! It was such a dream! She is so helpful and gifted, and she makes you feel so comfortable in your own skin. She is sweet and kind and has such a bright personality- which helps you glow form the inside out! She is flexible and will do whatever you ask her to make sure you look and feel exactly how you want for your special day. Even after she finishes your hair and makeup she will change anything you need to make sure it's perfect for you! She is absolutely the best and I would recommend her to anyone!

Genica deserves a higher rating than just five. She truly is wonderful to work with and a pleasure to be around. As you can see on her website, she is a very talented makeup artist. She offers a natural look that doesn't feel like you are wearing tons of makeup, however it still lasts all day and night. Overall, her pricing aligns with that of others in town, but I would easily pay more for her services.

Genica was delightful to work with! She did my hair and makeup and my wife's hair, and we looked fantastic (if we do say so ourselves). I didn't have any real idea about how I wanted my hair or makeup, and I left Genica to her own devices. She did a fantastic job and I got a lot of compliments about how young I looked (I'm a 50 year old bride). Genica was professional, thorough, well-prepared, and has a wonderful sense of style. I wholeheartedly recommend her!

Genica was so amazing. She is so creative. She was very attentive and made all of us even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She is a beautiful soul as well!! I really enjoyed having her there on our special day!! The amount of compliments on all of our hair and makeup were unreal!!!

Genica was an absolutely fabulous makeup & hair artist for my wedding. She understood exactly what I wanted and was very responsive to what I wanted changed from my hair & makeup trial. I wanted a complicated vintage updo, and Genica definitely delivered -- I got so many compliments on my hair and my makeup, which was beautiful in photos but still managed to look natural and not overdone. Also, her Instagram account, genicalee_hmua, has some beautiful examples of her work. I would definitely recommend her!

Genica is such a sweetheart and very easy to work with. She came out to my house to do the practice run of my hair and make-up about a month before my wedding (something I would strongly suggest doing). It was a great way to meet Genica and it created an opportunity to get a feel for exactly what you want. It also gives her a better idea of what natural features you're giving her to work with (since everyone has different skin, hair, etc.). She was very open to hear what I liked or what I might like for her to tweak. Then, on the actual day of my wedding, we all knew what to expect and everything went smoothly. That's saying something since I also had her do hair and make-up for all 4 bridesmaids and 2 flowergirls! But Genica and her assistant finished with time to spare. I thought her prices were very reasonable, especially when you consider the fact that she comes to you. She's sweet and fun but definitely a professional and she's very good at her craft. I loved working with Genica and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a hair and/or make-up artist.

Genica was very professional since the first day I met her during the trial appointment. She was able to work with my crazy work schedule and went to my hotel when I was in town during the wedding planning process. She listened to want I wanted for my special day. My sisters also loved their hair and make up as well. Over all, it was a great experience working with Genica-Lee.

Genica is amazing! She and her team truly listened to each of the 6 bridesmaids, 4 grandmothers, 2 mothers and the bride and every single person was so happy with the results! Hair and makeup were flawless and everyone looked and felt beautiful! I HIGHLY recommend Genica, not only for her talents, but for her beautiful spirit and what she adds to the entire experience. She is a very special person and she definitely contributed to the joy we experienced at our daughter's wedding.

I can't say enough about Genica Lee! All day long everyone told me how beautiful I looked. My hair stayed up all night, and my makeup stayed vibrant. Genica is also a very friendly, poised, and warm person. I had a scare- the chapel was closed and Genica started my makeup outdoors, then it started to rain. Genica had a calming presence and went with the flow, and still did a flawless job. I will use her again whenever I need makeup and hair, she's a true professional!

So grateful to our photographer for telling me about Genica!! I tried other hair and make up venders but none could even come close to being as amazing as Genica. From the very start she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and just what I wanted. She is very skilled as well and can do any look you are going for(everyone in my wedding party wanted very different looks). Genica is a gifted hair and makeup artist! You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it's reflected in each woman's hair and makeup. She worked with me, my 4 bridesmaids, mom and mother-in-law the day of my wedding (she also did a trial run with me for our engagement photos). Genica and her assistant came to where we were all getting ready the day-of my wedding, which was very convenient. She listens to what each person wants, and skillfully delivers. I wanted a natural look, and she had some great suggestions and knew what would look best in photos as well. By the end of the night, we were all impressed with how well the makeup held up throughout the festivities. Genica is professional, kind and personable. She made me feel at ease with having my hair and makeup done. My mom, who has sensitive skin and is picky about her makeup, was hesitant to have anyone do her makeup; I assured her that Genica was great. Afterwards, my mom raved about it, and said she needed to have Genica move to Arizona so she could do her makeup every day! I'm very thankful for all that she did for me and those I love to make us all feel beautiful on my wedding day. I would highly recommend her!

Genica was an amazing make-up and hair artist. Not only did she invite me into her home for a preview session, she worked magic the day of my wedding. She took last minute requests from bridesmaids and flower girls to do their hair and make-up with out hesitation. And of course, she made me more beautiful than I dreamed I could be! I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone, for any occasion.
