We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect than the wedding photography Genevieve provided us with. I have a close friend who is a photographer, and the emotions (not to mention the sunsets) captured in Genevieves work actually made her cry. She was very friendly and down to earth, there was no sense of any rush at all, and her prices are fair and affordable. I would choose her again in a heartbeat! Thank you Genevieve!!! You were amazing!!! <3

This is our second time using Genevieve's services and were even more thrilled with the results this time. Who would have thought that was possibl?. My husband and I got married on Maui last October and we brought the kids back to the very same beach for some family photos this summer for his 50th birthday. Genevieve made it a point to get individual pictures of everyone as well as multiple combinations amongst the 6 of us. She was attentive to even the smallest details and had unique posing ideas and even went over our allotted time to ensure everything was just right. The photos were ready so quick and there wasn't a single one we didn't like. We couldn't be more happy with the result, and would definitely recommend her talents to anyone wanting top notch results for a very affordable price.

Genevieve was super wonderful to work with! On time (although the "Bride" was a little nervous and late herself.. She had such wonderful ideas for capturing the "Perfect Moment" ! If I had to choose just one photo it was her idea for the pose and it was magnificent! She is no nonsense and silly at the same time. It was a very special day and she made is light and beautiful! If you can choose her for your special event, I recommend her 100%. Gracious and deserves every penny that she earns.. Love her Robin N. Borrego

I am so grateful that I found Genevieve for my wedding photography. She is a pleasure to work with and such a talented artist. If you are looking for someone very down to earth with a positive spirit that is very experienced, you have found the perfect photographer. I believe that as a bride you really need to connect with every vendor, and Genevieve is very easy to connect with because she is nonjudgmental and easily relates to people. I loved having her be part of my wedding day and highly recommend her to everyone. Not only is she a beautiful person, but most importantly, she is a phenomenal photographer and artist!

Thank God for Genevieve! We could not have asked for a better turn out. We decided to go with a very simple ceremony but Genevieve found the most beautiful location for us and we absolutely loved Rev. Al! (She made that happen as well) She was so creative with her photography and made the most of every special moment! If you are considering a wedding in Maui, no matter how big or small, you owe it to youreselves to choose Genevieve!

Genevieve was unbelievable! She made sure that every detail was taken care of for our wedding. Our wedding day was absolutely unbelievable. The pictures turned out beautifully. I had such a hard time picking out which ones I would use, because they were all amazing. My husband and I are not very photogenic, and believe it or not, you would think we were. Words can not express how wonderful Genevieve was at our wedding. Believe it or not, we were married on January 9, 2000 and this website will only go back to 2002 so our actual wedding was during the Millinium Year and Genevieve was absolutely unbelievable. My husband and I live in Fairbanks, Alaska and when we decided to get married in Hawaii, I started looking at the website. Before I even finished writing a request to Genevieve for more information -- my phone was ringing with her lovely voice on the other end. She was so warm and made me feel so secure with the planning -- that I immediately booked her services. We didn't know what to expect -- but whatever our expectations -- Genevieve exceeded every single one of them. We recently viewed our video that Genevieve talked us into doing (we weren't planning on it originally) and we can't believe how perfect everything was. Our photos are absolutely beautiful and we cherish them every single day. Genevieve took us all in -- and completely took care of everything where we didn't have a worry in the world. We are planning on seeing Genevieve for lunch on our next trip to Maui -- after 12 years of wonderful marriage -- and can't wait to share some of our newest memories with her as she started us together. Gen was the perfect wedding planner for an impromptu wedding that she only had 2 days notice to plan! She found a wonderful location, the most amazing, soulful minister (Brother Al), and beautiful wedding leis for us. And most importantly, her photography is fantastic. She is truly an artist and a lovely, warm person who made our day extra special. I would recommend her to anyone.

Gen made me feel very comfortable in the type boudior photography. I have always wanted to do something like this. She took her time to make me feel comfortable in my own skin and has an eye for beauty where I would have never view myself as having. It was a day of fun and great pictures.

Gen was fabulous! I was extremely honored to do my first BOUDOIR shoot w/Gen for my Husband's Valentine's gift! (He LOVED ALL the shots!) Gen made me feel so comfortable! Genevieve was incredible. A very down to earth person with great professional attributes. Even when we were lost, she went out of her way to try and locate us...funny story..lol. She arranged everything for us which reduced the stress level with any marriage. Her eye for photography is second to none. My husband and I were renewing our vows of 20 years alone on the beach in Mauii and we chose Genevieve Derego as our photographer. We are not young beautiful people, yet i felt young and pretty and so in love in her photographs. Alot happens in life and a marriage over 20 years and Genevieve was able to capture the spiritual, deeply loving, deeply meaningful testiment of those 20 years of love in her photos of our renewal. A vow renewal to us was more meaningful and intense than the initial wedding Genevieve knew the reality and meaning of a renewal and was able to capture the multitude of feelings in our faces in every photograph she took. She was totally professional unobtrusive and chose the most poignant of photos to shoot. We are grateful and glad we chose her we highly recommend her as she captured the essense of our love with her fabulous work.

Genevieve has a wonderful personality and is very easy to work with. She did our ceremony photography during our one week trip to Maui, Hawaii. It was all arranged through phone and internet and when all was done and over, the service far exceeded our expectations. The photos that she took were very professional and high quality and we had a very hard time choosing which one to print on canvas since all were so amazing. We also requested for the DVD of the pictures to be FedExed to us and she sent it so promptly that we had it in our hands in couple of days. We strongly recommend her and give her a "FAR EXCEED."

Excellent job all around. Took charge of things and got beautiful shots of our ceremony - better than we could have dreamed of!!! Genevieve ( pronounced Jenna-Vee ) was wonderful... She was such a pleasure to work with... Her personality is darling... I highly recommend her and would to my best-est of friends !!! My husband and I were both extremely happy with her work, her style, her creativity, her surprises, and the final turnout of our wedding photos. Genevieve did some custom closeup shots of the flowers, the rings, and my mothers prayer book and rosary, that came out so beautiful. My sister commented, during the after wedding photo shoot, that Genevieve was our "perfect" wedding photographer. She has so much enthusiasm and spark !!! We could not help, but to have perfect smiles on our faces in the photos. Genevieve was awesome in the way she handled everything !!! She captured us, in her photos, like I could not have imagined. I was so excited to share the photos with everyone !!! Genevieve's on-line photo gallery made that very easy for us to do !!! WOW, Genevieve exceeded my expectations in her professionalism and her personalized attention she gave to us during our event. It was so easy to work with Genevieve via email to set up our event (vow renewal). Once we were on location, she immediately made a connection with my 3 year old daughter and the pictures are proof that my daughter had the time of her life during the photo shoot. Genevieve captured all the key moments of the ceremony and the emotion of the event. The photos are absolutely beautiful that I had to have a copy of all of them. Next time I am in Maui, I will be scheduling another photo opportunity event with her to add to the collection we now have. Genevieve is the best. Genevieve provided top of the line photography service and excelled in all aspects of quality of service. I can tell she is passionate about photography and that seperates her from the others. She was prompt to reply whenever I had questions. It was refreshing to have Genenvieve not only get back to me quickly, but also provide solutions to my needs. On the day of our wedding we were both nervous as bride and groom. Genevieve's charastmatic personality and encouraging words helped us from being nervous. Genevieve DeRego was everything I could have ever asked for in a wedding photographer. She corresponded with me for months leading up to my wedding day on the island of Maui. She answered any and all questions patiently and promptly and I always felt secure that everyone was taken care of and I was going to get all the shots I could ever want or imagine. Genevieve's commitment to customer satisfaction shows in her work. She planned our wedding in a very short amount of time. And layed out detailed sequence of events that were very easy to understand and execute, She lifted the burden off of me so I can concentrate on pressing work related items. We used Genevieve for some Honeymoon picutres. Genevieve was amazing to work with. She is such a friendly and creative person. Her work is wonderful. There wasn't one photo that she took of me and my husband that we didn't like. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Genevieve DeRego was wonderful! I'm a terrible procrastinator and I didn't get around to contacting her until about a week before my husband and I were scheduled to leave for Maui but she was more than happy to work with me and the short time frame was no problem at all. We had a very minimal, small ceremony (i.e. the 2 of us and the minister lol) so it would seem that there wouldn't be much for Genevieve to take pictures of but she did an amazing job caputuring us, the ceremony and the incredible beach around us. In addition to taking fantastic pictures for us she even arranged the minister for us, a wonderful gentleman named Dennis, who was very good about accomodating a non-religious ceremony for us -- even though he himself is a Christian minister -- in the true Hawaiian style, conch shell and all! It was one the hightlights of our trip to Maui. I would recommend Genevieve to anyone and her rates were very good. She made us feel comfortable and helped greatly in keeping our big day stress-free.

Kent and I were so pleased with Genevieve De Rego. She is outstanding in all ways a photographer should be. She made us feel relaxed and at ease. She helped us have fun with something that we are awkward around, cameras! Genevieve was able to get our package to us very quickly. We had everything ready for a party that we were having in just 1 week after we returned.

Photos and CD are beautiful and exactly the qaulity we wanted. Wish she could be at our party Saturday to photograph that event!

Our wedding day was captured perfectly by Genevieve who was absolutely delightful and fun to work with. She had great fresh ideas and and was stress free. Thank you for being a part of it! We would definitely recommend her and work with her again, we wouldn't have it any other way!!

Genevieve took the most amazing photos that we have ever had done. She is amazing and was very easy to work with. She was very flexible and willing to work around our schedule. I would not call anyone else for photography in Hawaii.

Genevieve was extremely helpful leading up to the ceremony. Since I live in Oklahoma and in a time zone with a five hour difference to Hawaii, she was great about returning my phone calls, texts, and emails in a timely manner.

I was referred to Genevieve from a friend of a friend and I was reluctant to let someone else plan my wedding ceremony, especially since I had never been to Hawaii and was unclear about the beaches, weather, time of day for weddings, etc. However, after speaking with Genevieve and looking at her photos online, I was confident my wedding day would be perfect.

Genevieve made sure my husband and I set up an appointment for our marriage license and she took care of the beach permit for the ceremony. She provided a wonderful officiant who was extremely efficient and made our ceremony unique. She also provided two authentic leis for my husband and I and did the photography. She picked out the perfect location on the beach for the ceremony and suggested that we do a sunset wedding, which ended up being perfect for pictures.

Genevieve was very professional and straightforward about her prices and expectations to make the wedding a success. She even allowed for us to buy additional pictures at a discounted rate after my husband and I decided to purchase more than our original wedding package provided. She took wonderful pictures that my husband and I will enjoy for a lifetime.

I would definitely recommend Genevieve to anyone who is planning on a wedding ceremony in Maui. Her prices are very reasonable and she takes her job very seriously.

Genevieve is a pleasure to work with. She listened to us and made sure to understand what we wanted to take away from the special day. She took some amazing photos and was very easy to work with in getting the digital copies.

Really the only thing I'd change is I wish she shot in raw format instead of jpg.

Getting married in Hawaii sight unseen was a little bit unerving, however, Genevive's calm and cool demeanor kept me grounded. She was always repsonsive and kind even when she was very busy with other clients. Although I wondered she came through on every detail. She helped us pick a fantastic spot for our vows and our pictures were great. You can't even tell that there were tons of people (strangers) on the beach snooping on us. lol.
