The Absolute Best DJ & MC!!!

Damian and his team were such an incredible part of our wedding! Not only did they help design a playlist that was perfect for our ceremony and dances, but they did an amazing job keeping the energy going the entire night. Damian was lovely to work with and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-tier DJ & MC who is going to make sure guests have a great time and keep the party going!!

Genesis Events, Damian, & DJ Unico are THE BEST!!

Damian and Genesis are amazing! We had our wedding at Sand Castle on 10/20/2022 and needed an English and Spanish MC and DJ who understood how to DJ properly for New Yorkers and Latinos! Just like Alex Sensation does from 97.9. Damian said him and DJ Unico were the perfect people for the job. They hit the nail right on the head! All of our guests told us how amazing they were and they kept the party flowing perfectly and beautifully all night. We told them we wanted nice bachata in the beginning and nice old school salsa as well for the elders in our family to dance to and enjoy. Then we wanted that gradually switched up to Hip Hop, Reggae, Reggaeton, and just hype music to keep the party going. They executed this vision PERFECTLY! Damian does an awesome job as a MC and keeping the party’s flow exactly how you request! I’d hire these guys for any party, any time! We loved everything! Also, we had FOUR different wedding dates due to COVID (and then me getting pregnant during this time as well). Damian was always able to accommodate our new dates and seamlessly reschedule. Just hands down, THE BEST!

Genesis Events Review

Our wedding night was the most AMAZING night of our lives, mostly thanks to Damian (MC) and Yianni (DJ)!! Damian was very patient and kind throughout numerous date and venue changes we had to deal with. We fell in love with Damian the first time we saw him perform at Floral Terrace and we knew we needed HIM to handle our party. His energy is contagious and he has an amazing gift of performing!
-The Party- was the BEST party anyone has ever been too and I'm still hearing it from people and I know they will be talking about it for the rest of their lives lol! Like my mother said to me "You know its a good party when the MC is dancing all night!". The timing of everything we had planned was perfect and everything ran smoothly, made it feel like an effortless day.
-Yianni was the BEST DJ anyone could ask for, his transition of songs into one another was flawless and he knew exactly what to play in order to keep everyone on the dance floor! He was able to incorporate every genre-to cater to everyone in the crowd and he responded quickly to requests. He truly brought the club to us and I'm forever thankful!
-Crowdsurfing off the Speakers- MADE MY NIGHT! I get to say I jumped off the "stage" and crowd surfed at my own wedding, thank god I had a lot of strong men there! Coolest experience ever, not a lot of people get to say that!
-I could go on for days about what an amazing team the guys were. I have A LOT of friends getting married and everyone has been reaching out to me asking about Genesis Events, I will always HIGHLY recommend Genesis Events to anyone who wants to hear it or not! lol.

Blown away and SO GRATEFUL to Genesis Events

Our guests were blown away by Genesis Events. We hired the saxophonist for the cocktail hour - she even played my husband's video game theme song requests. The guests raved about her talents. Damian was the Emcee and Raz was the DJ. Damian brought so much energy to the party and felt like a true friend. He worked with us on music, gave us advice, and was so flexible during this COVID environment. Raz created the perfect dance floor environment. The party never stopped. We even gave them a dropbox of old Italian music we wanted them to play - and they nailed it!!! We are recommending them to EVERYONE! One of our guests got their business card at our wedding and are reaching out to use them. Don't sleep on Genesis Events!

Celebration of Our Dreams - Loved Genesis Events!

Genesis Events did a fantastic job at our wedding a month ago! They provided the DJ, MC, photo booth and venue up-lighting for our wedding reception at Ethan Allen Hotel. The music is so important for setting the vibe of the night, and DJ Joe and MC Glyde really hit it out of the park! We were a bit worried when they said they would not need a specific song list as other couples told us they compiled a song list for the whole night (ugh so happy we did not have that huge task on our wedding to do list), but based on our music preferences, they picked the perfect songs! They got everyone out on the dancefloor and our guests had the best time. Joe and Glyde did a great job keeping the tempo of the reception and keeping our guests excited without being obnoxious or pushy. Our friends and family had a blast with the open-air photo booth! There are so many funny and spontaneous shots that only a photo booth can elicit. Thank you again Joe and Genesis Events for helping put on the celebration of our dreams!

Absolutely wonderful DJs!

We had an MC and a DJ from Genesis events and I can say without a doubt that I am so much more than satisfied with them. Not only did they play every song that me and my husband had asked for but they actually learned which genres we were most fond of and used that to decide on the rest of the music. It was like throwback after throwback and barely anyone was sitting during this wedding. I have had multiple people come up to me and say they need the name of this DJ company. My husband is Brazilian Italian and I am Italian and Irish and they definitely use our traditions when it came to planning out the music as well. I have had so many family members come out to me and say they’re so happy that they could go to a traditional Italian wedding again. Never been happier!

Amazing company! Highly recommended

These guys are amazing! My husband and I struggled for months to find a DJ that would fit our needs. We had met and spoken to plenty of arrogant DJs who charges insane prices and had such obnoxious personalities that we just couldn’t justify giving them our money. A coworker of mine recommended this company just in time! And boy we're we happy! From the planning to the execution we couldn't of been happier! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Non stop dance party

Our wedding guests were out on the floor dancing from the minute the reception started until the very last song - the dance floor was full the whole time, Genesis exceeded our expectation of entertainment and fun for our wedding - and we are party people. They were very organized and receptive to our requests during the planning process. Would definitely recommend them!

Our wedding was amazing thanks to Genesis events! We had Damien as our MC because he spoke Spanish and he spoke both English and Spanish since the wedding guests were both. We barely had to give any direction because due to the reviews we trusted they would do a great job. They played awesome music and Damien was the perfect Emcee for our event. The crowd was dancing the whole night and everyone came to us saying how great the DJ was! I could not be happier knowing that Genesis Events would make sure our guests would have a great time and one less thing for us to worry about. It was definitely worth going with them because they know what they’re doing. Thank you Genesis!!

Genesis Events is amazing!!! We had the pleasure of having MC Damian and DJ Amaro and all I can say is that I still have guests asking me who we hired as our MC and DJ and our wedding was in October. Damian was funny and kept everyone hyped. They had people dancing all night long and made my Honduran family and Dominican family very happy. They were also able to include a Hora Loca which we requested and everyone loved. When we met with Damian a few weeks before the wedding we told him that we trusted him and his team and other than a few songs that we picked to be played we just wanted them to go with what they thought was best, and I can honestly say Damian and Amaro did not disappoint.

I honestly don't even know where to start. People will not stop talking about our DJ and MC. We booked with Genesis because they did my sister-in-law's wedding back in 2016. Her MC was Fabio and he was so great! But when we went to book we met Damien and we had an instant connection with him (we even have matching ring tones). From day one he was excited to be a part of our day and was accommodating of all of our requests leading up to the wedding. The day of, Damien and the DJ blew us away. They had everyone hyped up for our entrances, all of our ceremony music was right, our first dance song was a little complicated as it was a specific version of a song, they got everything right. Nobody sat during the reception, people were itching to finish eating so they could get back on the dance floor. Damien danced with my wife, my grandma and everyone else. He partied with us all night, it was like we were hanging out with friends. Our photo booth was a HUGE hit, there was always a line to get in. I can honestly say Genesis is the best entertainment company out there. People are still calling us to tell us how great they were and how awesome our music was. Even the girl who works at the front desk loves us. You can't go wrong booking with them. We've already recommended them to all of our other friends getting married! We love Genesis!

Our wedding was at the Sand Castle August of 2017. My husband and I initially experienced the talents of Genesis Events during a Bridal Showcase. We were looking for a trendsetting, energetic, personable and entertaining group to keep our guest engaged and entertained. We found it all with GENESIS EVENTS! The customer service and expert advice from the entire group was impeccable. Fabio and my husband developed a nice bond, needless to say Fabio was our MC GENIUS!!! We WOWED our guest with the Red Carpet entrance as they struck a pose and were given framed photos as favors. Maria was extremely patient as we requested to use the original monogram from our wedding invitations on the backdrop. Once we provided the monogram, the art department provided us various selections to choose from. The end product was exactly what we envisioned. The DJ did an amazing job looping the bridal party’s entrance song into the ceremony. It was started too soon because the song played as the Pastor presented but he kept it playing endlessly. As I, the bride made my grand entrance the violinist played Pachelbel Cannon in D lovingly. The exuberating bridal party reception entrance got the crowd up out of their seats and ready to party! Fabio announced the indigenous names of our bridal party as if he’d known them all along. Details we didn’t think of was seamlessly taken care of and the grand entrance for the bride and groom was GRAND INDEED! First dance and second dance songs were on point with the perfect lighting to enhance the moments. For example, the second dance song was “Lady in Red” and Fabio changed the room lighting to red. It was gorgeous! The dancing was nonstop to tasteful music selections and the acoustics drummer was the perfect touch. The montage and snap shots were invaluable as we enjoyed looking at them for days preceding the professional photos. Guest are still raving about our wedding! Sean & Latanya Marshall

Words cannot express how amazing Genesis Events is. I recently got married on 11.18.17 and could not have picked a better entertaining company. We had 300 guests at our wedding and they kept the dance floor packed all night long. Throughout and after the wedding everyone was telling my husband and I how much fun they had and asked about who our dj company was. We had Fabio as our MC and Rosario as the DJ and they definitely delievered. They listened to exactly what i wanted played throughout the reception and definitely gave us the fun and energetic vibe we wanted for our wedding.. I hands down would recommend Genesis as your entertaining company for your wedding as I promise they will NOT disappoint.

Genesis was out favorite vendor by far. They did a truly terrific job. They gave us way more than we expected, including handing over a book of all the selfies people took at the photo booth at the end of the wedding. This was an incredibly special touch and allowed us to look them over the very next day and laugh. The zap shot photos Genesis took ended up being better quality and better taken than the TWO photographers we paid for. Finally, our DJ, God Bless him. He had to deal with a Romanian band that couldn't be stopped and he handled everything so professionally and with such a great attitude. He never stopped smiling. Thank you Genesis, we would recommend anyone else!

We chose Genesis for our wedding on 10/14/17 after meeting with the staff at a bridal expo. Genesis is the best! We had our first official meeting with Fabio at their store front and was matched up with Damian for our big day. Damian was excellent. He had our crowd going and had his own moves on the dance floor. Maria helped us with our final paperwork and photos and that was a huge help. My husband and I would definitely recommend making an appointment to discuss options with Genesis. They are welcoming and professional. They help you with all your wedding needs. Fabio was an absolute pleasure to work with! We used this DJ company because we had attended a friend's wedding where Fabio was the MC. We loved his energy and decided to specifically ask for him when our wedding came along! He really understood exactly what we wanted - music wise. The guests told us that this was the best music they've ever heard at a wedding and we have had multiple people tell us that Fabio is the best MC they've ever heard too! He was JUST enough! We all know that's a hard balance to find because we've all been to weddings where the MC's were just too much or not enough! He dances with the crowd, he hypes them up, and he genuinely has fun! His energy is amazing and him and his team did a great job in making sure every detail was covered when it came to ceremony music and reception music! We also had a Photo Booth with video, which the GUEST LOVED! He sent us over the videos the very next day! All in all, Genesis events is an amazing company! When I say THE best in the business .. I really mean it!!!!! From start to finish Genesis was on point! We chose Genesis Events because we had seen them in action at another wedding and were amazed at how much energy they had and that what we wanted at our wedding. Anything we had questions about they were right there to answer them. We had a set budget for the DJ and they came under budget which was great for us. The additional props like the photo booth, the album them made us with the photos from the photo booth, their photographer who did the slide show during the wedding, their LOVE letters, and even the costumed dais plate for the Mr. and Mrs. everything was beautiful and no one ever left the dance floor. The music was great we told them exactly the kind of wedding party we wanted the specific songs we wanted played. and they achieved all our expectations.

WE DANCED ALL NIGHT! Literally. When we saw Genesis Events at a showcase we knew we had to have them for our wedding! All of the MCs were fantastic, but we loved Damian's vibe. We also booked a percussionist, Raz, and a saxophonist, Mike. Our DJ was Gaspare. Each and every one of them went above on beyond in creating the perfect atmosphere for our night. Several times I looked at the dance floor and there was always people moving! I was completely and utterly in the moment at our wedding and I know the music was a big part of that! I cannot thank Genesis enough for all they did to make our day special. If dancing is what you want, Genesis is who you should get!

From start to finish, they were amazing. Our initial meeting was painless. We met and discussed the different packages. They do not try to push services on you. They will reach out to you when they need something from your end. They respond quickly via email and were very easy to get a hold of. Our DJ kept the whole family dancing all night long. Our MC Fabio was fantastic! We had so many comments from our guests that we had the best MC and DJ they ever saw.
They were really receptive to my ideas and playlists! Fabio had everyone up having fun and dancing all night. I would definitely recommend them!

My wife and I just got married on 9/25/16 in north Jersey. We heard about Genesis through some familythat we're at a wedding in NY. Fabio was our MC and man...the house was rocking from start to finish. A true pleasure to work with. They tailored the event to our taste of music, tempo and style. They are extremely responsive and so easy to work with. It made the experience a breeze and fun too. Music delivery: on point! Intros: on point! Crowd participation: on point! Light show: on point! They were also able to provide with a live drummer all night, violinist for the ceremony and cool up to date photo booth. They're a true one stop shop and at a fair price. So much fun! Everyone is raving about Genesis that attended the wedding and I'm so glad we chose them as our entertainment. I'm still dancing!

Genesis was an absolutely amazing DJ for our wedding. Damian was a great MC and was super attentive and they played every song we asked for. Damian was able to keep the party going, everyone was dancing all night long. Guests have told me that they have never seen everyone on the dance floor at a wedding. Genesis did an amazing job and we were so glad we decided on them to DJ our wedding. I would recommend them to anyone!

Everyone at my wedding is still talking about what an amazing DJ we had. As the bride everyone told me I wouldn't enjoy my wedding because I will be too busy doing everything else. well I have to say that my husband and I did NOT leave the dance floor. Our MC was so amazing and went along with the spirit of the wedding. We had a superhero theme and he made sure to go along with it. He was so funny and was always asking if we need anything. We had a little misunderstanding with the time of the event but the problem was solved before it became an issue. We also got the photo booth and everyone loved it! The DJ is the best part of the reception so its worth every penny

We got married 8/14 and Genesis was awesome! MC Fabio and DJ John were great, they played a perfect mix of music to keep all our guests entertained. Some old, classic and new! We had so many people on the dance floor, the guests really enjoyed and complimented how great they were after the wedding. To highly recommend them! So much fun!

Damian was the MC at our wedding and he went to all lengths to ensure that me and my husband were happy. The music was perfect - in fact, it was what we were complimented on the most and had the least to do with!! My best advice is to trust the Genesis team - they know what they are doing and were able to provide music that had all of our guests out of their seats and dancing the entire night. They were helpful and profession from the moment of our very first visit to the last minutes of the night. I couldn't have asked for a better team!

Our guests spent the night on the dance floor thanks to the entertainment provided by Genesis Events at our wedding. Fabio was THE BEST!!! He played a variety of music that appealed to all age groups and kept the party going until the very end of the night. We cannot thank Fabio and Genesis Events enough for making our wedding a truly spectacular event. Me and my wife just recently got married and I can honestly say that the most compliments that I got were about my dj and my MC. We got the pleasure of Damien and he was absolutely amazing. From the first song to last they had everybody dancing from young to old. To me the only thing I cared about for my wedding was that everyone had fun and I can say without a doubt that Damien and Genesis Events made that happen. I would highly recommend then go see Joe Miller the owner and you will not be disappointed.

I don't even know WHERE to start! There is no better team than Genesis! My wedding was a GIGANTIC SUCCESS with the help of Joe, Fabio and their team. The dance floor was packed the ENTIRE NIGHT! Genesis Events was BEYOND fantastic! I am so happy we used them for our wedding. They were very accommodating and worked with us with pricing, add ons, photo booth, etc. I knew when I heard them at the showcase that I wanted Fabio to be our MC. He has so much personality & he was an amazing Master of Ceremony! He followed everything we wanted to do, when it came to the traditional things like throwing of bouquet, garter, etc. and he made it SO fun, he got everyone involved and all our guests absolutely love him as we did too!

My husband and I also had a list of 4 pages of songs that we wanted played, our friends and family love to dance so we wanted our music on point and what we wanted and let me tell you, they listened to what we wanted. They played every song we wanted and you could tell - the whole wedding of 175 people were on the dance floor most of the night. Me, my husband and the bridal party did not stop dancing the whole night. Genesis Events was absolutely amazing, - I wish I could give them more then 5 stars!!

Genesis was an amazing choice for our wedding reception! Damian was our MC, and he kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night! They were very accommodating of our differing cultures (Egyptian, Italian, and German!), and everyone was having a great time. We heard nothing but good comments about the music and dancing. We also used their Photo Booth, which was a great addition to the wedding. We got a scrapbook with copies of everyone's photo strips, as well as digital copies on a flash drive at the end of the night! It was great to have those pictures as a fun way to remember the wedding. I would recommend Genesis to anyone!! Thank you!

Joe was really helpful in explaining all of the details with us. We were able to pick which MC we wanted after seeing them perform. We only used them for DJ/entertainment but they have a lot to offer such as photo booths, back drops, red carpet entrance, lounge type furniture, etc.

What can I say about Genesis Events, except AMAZING!My husband and I knew that music and food were two of the most important things we wanted to make sure we had, full of quality, for our wedding. We wasted no time and booked Genesis Events because we knew we wanted the best! Between Fabio's charisma and charm, he got all our guests that ranged from toddlers to late eighties year olds on their feet dancing. They were lively, professional, and made sure everybody got involved and was dancing the whole night. We loved our photobooth and even had zap photos. Our guests were a mix of Sicilians and Jewish American so we had an array of music, all of which all the guests were very pleased with. I have received numerous compliments on Genesis and even requests for their playlists. They listened to everything I asked. I highly recommend if you want to have all your guests up and dancing throughout the very last song (or even during the pasta course) choose Genesis and you will not be disappointed!

Absolutely AMAZING! I cannot even begin to express how amazing our wedding night was because of Genesis. We worked with Fabio as our MC and Razz as our DJ. They timed our Intro Music perfectly and knew exactly the type of night and music we wanted for our wedding. As a result, our dance floor was packed all night and people are still telling me what an amazing time they had and how good our DJ was! Fabio kept checking in with us all night to make sure the music and everything was how we wanted it and it really was!!!! It was the perfect variety of music that all of our guests loved. The Photo Booth was an absolute hit!!! People were in it all night long. We got the one that allowed for the video option which was so great because it was bigger too so we were taking pictures with large groups and everyone fit! They even gave us a guest book with all the print outs which was such a nice keepsake! They are the absolute best! Thank you so much Genesis!!!

Wow! Everyone at our wedding loved the photobooth. The pictures came out great. Our family and friends were even able to leave us video messages. At first I was hesitant but when I saw and tryed it out at a Bridal Showcase at Floral Terrace, I was sold. Made our wedding even more awesome.

THE BEST OF THE BEST! I cannot begin to describe how epic my wedding was as result of the entertainment provided by Genesis Events. Fabio and Co. were beyond reproach as far as professionalism and entertainment. They efficiently handled everything for my wife and I, and were even critical in helping us have a special "music mix" made for our introductory song. People danced the entire night and raved about how phenomenal the entertainment was....from the DJ, to the live musicians, to the lighting, photo booths and cigar rollers.....to the after party entertainment that was fantastic. My advice to anyone getting married and seeking entertainment....look NOWHERE else but to Genesis Entertainment. Now that I have time to sit and relax I want to provide an honest opinion to one of my favorite vendors that made my day so special, fun, and entertaining. I am so glad to have hired this company for my wedding day. Damian was our MC and he did a FANTASTIC job. He followed all our requests and did everything he promised he will do for us. I received so many compliments from my guests about his work which made me so happy. I forgot the name of our DJ but he also did a great job and played the music we requested. My dance floor was packed all night long!! My husband and I as well as our guests enjoyed every minute of it. Our photo-booth rocked!! Our guests loved it!

My wedding was a little over a year ago, but I STILL think about how getting Genesis was a fantastic move. We actually were going to self-dj with an ipod and then my husband pushed two weeks before the wedding to hire a DJ. Luckily they had an opening since we happened to be on a Sunday afternoon. Our DJ was totally on point, read the crowd's energy (it was a very mixed group of 40's+ and young 20-somethings). He was also fantastic about little announcements throughout the event and very self-sufficient. Would absolutely choose them again. In fact, one of our good friends is using them for their wedding in December.

Genesis is fantastic!! We had Fabio as our MC and Raz as our DJ and they were phenomenal! My husband and I only picked the key songs (1st dance, father/daughter, mother/son, and entrance songs) and left everything else up to them. And they did not disappoint! They kept the party going all night and made sure everyone was dancing and having a great time. Fabio even had my husband sing " My girl" to me before our first dance, and it was both adorable and hilarious since my husband had no idea he was going to do that either.

We also booked our photo booth through them and it was so much fun! They brought funny props and a beautiful book for everyone to post a copy of their pictures so my husband and I could see them. There was even a video messaging option in the photo booth so our guests could leave us hilarious messages, and Genesis sends you a DVD copy of those along with all the pictures that people took ( which is great because sometimes people forgot to paste a copy in the book).

We loved Genesis and will recommend them to everyone looking to have a fantastic and fun wedding!

Also, John the owner is the sweetest man! He made booking so easy and made us feel comfortable with everything!!

My husband Christian and I had our wedding at the North Ritz Club on June 26, 2015 and we used Genesis for our music. It was hands down the best night of our lives! We knew right away that we wanted to book with Genesis after seeing them at several other weddings. There were no hesitations, we knew that they were going to be the right fit for us. John was our DJ for the night and Damian was our MC. They were both AWESOME! Not only were they so sweet and accommodating, but they both kept the party going all night long! The music was absolutely AMAZING! No one left the dance floor! Everyone, including the older adults, were so pumped to dance. All of our guests could not stop complimenting them and the music, even days after our wedding. Everyone was sad when the wedding was over and the music had to stop. Many of our guests would like to use Genesis for their own events. We highly, HIGHLY recommend Genesis for any occasion, especially a wedding. We have been to a lot of weddings and we knew that great music was a major priority to us. From the minute we saw Genesis at a showcase, we knew they were for us. Damien and Catrina are outstanding to work with. Catrina helped us with everything and was always pleasant. We were so happy that she worked our wedding night taking ZapShots because she is so reassuring and helpful. Damien is funny and warm and our guests loved him. He interacts in a way that makes him a welcomed part of your party. Everyone was up dancing all night and multiple people told us how great they were before they even left our party. We used Genesis for our photo booth, our table placement board and for ZapShots. They were EVERYWHERE taking pictures all night. At the end of the night, we got a scrapbook that people signed with all the photo booth pictures. Genesis was our favorite vendor to work with and we would give them 10 stars if we could!!

Genesis was AMAZING. Anthony was who we met with before the wedding and was our MC. I highly recommend him; he has amazing energy and customizes the music and his style for you. I know I went to a wedding before mine and was a little nervous because they played a lot of oldies, BUT that was because it was an older crowd. I told them how I wanted all party music and they definitely delivered! It was exactly everything I wanted, played our entire request list, they made no mistakes with any of the music we had for events that were done at the wedding and kept the party going all night. The montage was so great and everything flowed very well. My family and friends won’t stop talking about Anthony and “the awesome music at the wedding”. Many people said it was the most fun and best MC and DJ they have seen at a wedding! I highly recommend them and I can’t wait to see my zap photography! They definitely captured some great moments!

I recommend everyone use Genesis Events for all their Parties. I used them for my Wedding, they were nothing less then AMAZING. Even with all the last minute changes that we had to make on the day, they were more then accommodating. I also had them play the music for my ceremony which I was told by many was beautifully done. All our guest were on there feet the entire night and all anyone is talking about is how mixed the music was. They catered for the young and the old and I can't every say enough good things about them. The Photo booth had to have been the biggest hit of the evening. Everyone had the best time.

Genesis ROCKED MY WEDDING!!! They without a doubt MADE my wedding. Damian was our MC, Jeff our DJ and Jason on the Sax, were the most amazing trio! I wanted more then just a regular wedding, I wanted a serious party and that's exactly what they gave us. I have never seen a more packed dance floor then at our wedding! Song after song, you just couldn't sit down! Jason was incredible on the sax and really added so much pop and fun to the wedding. People would crowd around him and just dance like crazy. Damian as the MC was SO professional and fun. He danced the whole night with us. When we first met, he took in literally every single thing I said. Every song I asked for, things I liked/didn't like, he took it all in and totally delivered. Everyone loved him! He was so energetic and hyped from the moment people walked in till the very last song. Jeff our DJ was exceptional! He played amazing songs, and everything I could wish for. Our wedding was the weekend of St. Patrick's Day, and my family is actually all from Ireland. I asked them to play a bunch of Irish music and they killed it with the Irish songs! We were doing jigs and jives, then for dinner they played nice slow Irish music and Italian for my husband. Genesis made our wedding what it was and I cannot thank them enough! Brides, if you want a party and a rocking wedding, you have to hire Genesis!!

There is no comparison Fabio is THE BEST Mc you will ever meet! I just got married last Friday and my guests are still asking us who our DJ/MC was because the energy he brought to the night was amazing! He made the night perfect from beginning to end. Everything was perfectly paced, everything went so smoothly. People literally asked if he was related to us because it felt like he was family. He really involved the guests and the dance was always packed. Our venue had a huge dance floor and we were fearful it wouldn't fill up but literally it was packed no one was sitting. Even my father in law who I have NEVER seen dancing was up and dancing. This was truly a miracle. They were so organized and on top of every detail! AMAZINGINGLY AWESOME!!! We used Genesis Events for music and photo booth. They were wonderful. All our guests commented on how great they were and how much fun they had. We would use them again.

Genesis first caught my attention at my cousin's wedding 3 years ago. When it came time for my own wedding, I knew exactly what company to use for entertainment. Genesis was accommodating from the beginning. They scheduled me an appointment to meet with a DJ within a week of me contacting them. Once booked, we didn't have to worry about a thing. When we went for our final meeting, we were still a little unsure of some song choices for certain points of the night. Damian sat with us and gave us ideas until we came up with choices that we liked. Damian ended up being our MC at our wedding (our original MC got injured) and we couldn't have been more thrilled to have him. Along with the DJ, Rosario, Damian kept the night moving. Damian didn't just announce things as some MC's do, but he was on the floor dancing and entertaining the crowd the entire night. I couldn't believe how fast the time flew since there were no dull moments.

Genesis also provided ceremony and cocktail hour music at our wedding. They played the ceremony songs exactly as written, and played the perfect selection of cocktail music. I was impressed that they were able to find some of the unique songs we requested. I would highly recommend Genesis for any event that needs a DJ/MC.

Genesis Events was absolutely amazing at our wedding, our guests are still talking about our DJ! We personally did not want a band at our wedding, we knew we wanted a DJ and MC and we couldn’t have picked a better company. Our dance floor was packed all night! It was so important for us to find the perfect DJ because the bride’s family was mostly Polish, and we had to mix in a few polish songs for that side of the family. We provided Genesis with a CD of roughly 25 of our favorite polish songs to mix into the party somehow, not knowing how this would turn out. Our DJ Raz mixed the songs effortlessly, he went from polish to English and no one even realized the language change, everyone just kept dancing to the beat. Amazing job Raz! We are so happy you were our DJ that night. Dino our MC was exactly what we wanted! He knew how to get the guests out of their seats, my co-workers are still talking about what a good time he was! Other items we had in our package with Genesis, included a GOBO (name in lights on the dance floor) which was a nice touch. The photo montage they created for us with our photos and song selection was so touching. We also got to keep a CD of our montage as a keepsake. Our package also included a zap photographer, which was great! He took pictures throughout the night and would upload them on to the TV’s. After our wedding, Genesis mailed us the CD of almost 400 candid shots our zap photographer took. Joe was always very helpful and accommodating. Overall, we would highly recommend Genesis Events to all of our friends getting married. They did a terrific job at a wedding where we had different nationalities & age groups, and all of our guests had an amazing time!Thank you Genesis Events for making our wedding truly memorable and the most talked about event of the summer! We especially want to thank Joe, DJ Raz, MC Dino for making our night absolutely perfect! We plan to use you guys again for our next big event!

We used Genesis events for our wedding 2 weeks ago, AMAZING!!! Fabio kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. He even threw in a few surprises for my husband and myself which made the night even that more special.
Great, great guys and knows how to keep a party going!!!

I would recommend them to everyone!!

You guys may be ranked #1 on Long Island but your #1 in our book anywhere. Your team of outstanding staff made our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception the best that we ever been a part of. The blend of music and impromptu comically situations were truly a blast. You kept everyone moving and involved. ! Snapshot photos shown throughout the night was a great touch. I cannot forgot the great job you did on our montage. All of our guests loved that as well. Overall it really was a amazing night with these guys and I can highly recommend them!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Our wedding was in our yard Upstate NY with a 100 guest under a tent, the lighting and colors made our tent glow, the televisions made everyone feel like they were in a catering hall.The way you guys worked with the other wedding staff the caterers , video crew and photographer was seamless and perfect. Our Guest were blown away by everything that day. The feedback is mainly how amazing our DJ was.

I recently had my wedding and decided to go with Genesis based off our viewing of them at a friend's wedding last year. We wanted John to be our DJ as we loved his style. We met with Gina (such a nice person) and went over all our songs and plans. When we wanted to change a song or two after, Gina was responsive and kind.

On the big day I was taken back when John did not show (he was sick), HOWEVER, the owner of Genesis took his place AND they added an MC free of charge! (DJ Joe, MC Damian, & percussionist Raz. They assured me they knew my list and songs and not to worry--I trusted them and you should too--because they executed flawlessly, they made my day perfect as music was such a big part to us. They did a phenomenal job and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

All I can say is Amazing!! Fabio and Joe had everyone dancing all night at my wedding. From our first meeting with Joe, and then subsequent meetings with Gina and Fabio, we knew we were in great hands with Genesis Events. And they proved us right. Our guests are still raving about what a good job the DJ and MC did. Thank you so much! And also thank you to Caterina for doing the zap photos, I didn't even notice her until the end of the night! Genesis Events DJ'd our wedding recently at Sparkling Pointe Winery and we could not have been more happy with them. They did an amazing job and had our guests up and dancing the entire night. The music was consistently great all night long and everyone had a blast on the dance floor. They were extremely professional and overall terrific to work with. We definitely recommend using them!

From day one, Genesis Events has been the embodiment of professionalism and customer service - in a time where my fiancée and I were swamped with vendors requesting we look at their services, we did not feel the least bit pressured by Genesis. More so, once we met with Joe - he made the entire process so easy. He was attentive and really helped us make the music selections personal for our day.

The day of our wedding, Fabio and Steve were absolutely amazing!

Steve did an excellent job mixing our selections seamlessly - from pop to 80's & 90's to disco and traditional Italian music. The dance floor was never empty!

Fabio is an amazing MC! He has been in this business for 25 years and you could tell that he truly loves what he does. He is charismatic and really knows how to get the party going - without being overpowering. He has an infectious smile and great personality which our guests appreciated.

To this day our guests are still raving about the great time they had and how amazing both Steve and Fabio were.

Hands down, my husband and I highly recommend Genesis and even more so both Steve and Fabio!

Great job! Thank you for making our day even more special!

We are "way beyond satisfied" with all the service your company provided in our recent wedding.
The event was a total success. My "red Carpet booth" totally impressed all my guest.
The music was completely balanced between american, italian and ecuadorian. Genesis was able to put together a picture montage in less than 24 hrs!

I found Fabio of Genesis events through my florist, who told me point blank that there was no one better for my wedding. From our first meeting all the way through to the end of the event, Fabio provided first rate service. He took the time to listen to what we wanted and tailored the party and the music to our idea of a good time. We trusted him and did not give extensive play and do not play lists, and he did not disappoint. He kept all the guests engaged and everyone had a great time. The tone of the event and the music was exactly what we had asked for. When there was a snag in timing or something unexpected happened (as I am sure happens in every wedding), he and his DJ Joe were quick to adapt and help the day go as seamlessly as possible. I would strongly recommend Fabio and genesis events.

Best DJ & services I have ever seen! I even has a surprise recording for my husband and they nailed it with the entrances. I just got married this past April and I can’t even begin to say enough great things about our DJ and MC from “GENESIS EVENTS”. Right from the beginning we felt comfortable with Fabio, he talked to us on a personal level and genuinely took interest in who we were as people.

The night of the wedding went flawlessly, DJ Raz didn’t skip a beat, and played everything we had requested (which wasn’t a small list) and then some. Fabio checked in with my husband and I throughout the night to make sure we were enjoying ourselves , they specially geared the lights to accommodate my cousin who suffers from photo sensitive epilepsy, and Fabio did all of the announcements in Italian AND English to accommodate my relatives who didn’t speak any English (which made their night!)
The montage was beautiful, the lights and sound were on par, ALL of our guests were on the dance floor all night, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. I would recommend GENESIS ENTERTAINMENT a million times over if you want your night to be perfect!

We are so happy with our choice! We insisted on Fabio as our MC and he was fabulous. They did the cocktail hour and gave us a CD of all the music, which was nice, as we didn't get to our cocktail hour at all. We gave them a huge "must play" list but allowed him to work the crowd also. I really didn't want anything like "Shout" but he knows his crowd and played it. Everyone loved it. The best candid shots of dancing were to that stupid song! The fact that we had everyone on the floor the whole time was the most important to us and Fabio delivered!
Genesis was completely trouble free: they just showed up and did their thing. I really appreciated that Fabio worked with our DOC and the BM to make sure we were kept up to date during the event on when we should do the milestones like cut the cake and throw the bouquet. They also helped us find our Tenor and other performers all of which were reasonable in price and wonderfully talented. Loved them!

These guys are FANTASTIC! My new hubby and I used them for our wedding at Floral Terrace on November 2nd, 2013. They are phenomenal at what they do. Very personable, attentive and they have fabulous suggestions and ideas as well. They made my guests WANT to get up and dance. Almost 1 month later, and I am getting compliments about my choice in DJ, EVERY SINGLE DAY. I have already referred anyone who will listen and will continue to do so. Genesis Events was awesome!

Our guests loved the music and entertainment at our reception. Fabio was great! His emcee style was engaging and kept the guests involved in all aspects of the reception. The music was great - they played something for everyone and kept to our requests!

The photo montage and GOBO were great. Our guests, families and friends are still talking about the great time they had.

I loved how Fabio threw in a surprise and had my now husband serenade me to the song "My Girl" with the entire bridal party as his 'back-up' singers.

I would definitely recommend Genesis Events for music and entertainment.

The DJ had everyone on the dance floor. The music never stopped and everyone loved it. The MC was a last minute replacement for the one we have booked and he did and amazing job filling in. Would recommend without a doubt.

The staff at Genesis really worked within my budget for the photobooth! This was something I thought about for a while, and I am SO SO SO happy we decided to use the photobooth and work with Genesis Events. From set-up to sending my photos ASAP, they were a pleasure to work with. Our photobooth was a huge hit and everyone raved how they loved the idea. It added a fun touch to our evening and I would highly recommend Genesis Events to future brides. So fun & easy to work with!

We hired Genesis Events for our wedding reception, and worked specifically with Fabio. I have to say we had the best time at our wedding because of Fabio and his team! They kept the dance floor packed, and played a variety of music to keep the younger guests happy, as well as older guests (a mix of American and Italian songs to make everyone happy). We also rented the newer photo booth which took up minimal space, and added a fun and spontaneous element to the party. Fabio was the best MC and DJ, he even joined us on the dance floor during the freestyle set! We really enjoyed ourselves and guests came up to us to say it was one of the best wedding they'd been to because the music was so well done! We will definitely hire them again for future events!

Joe and Fabio are by far the best at what they do, and what they do is make dreams come true. such professionals. Genesis Events made our wedding the wedding to top, from live musician Mike on the acoustic guitar singing our first dance, to the 60" LCDs TVs they brought in. To all the extra lighting, our name in lights and the biggest surprise to my wife and guest, Freestyle sensation Aby and Angel from TKA performed at our wedding. MC Fabio even brought them out in avery special way, they stared a freestyle set and Fabio was asking if anyone knew the words, guest was singing and then Dj Double J (John) stopped the music and this one guy sitting down at the table started to sing accapella ,the crowded didnt know what was going on, until Fabio intruded Aby and Angel from TKA they all went crazy.. It was definitely a show stopper. We would like to thank Dj Jason MC Fabio Dj Double J (John) Joe, Gina, Marty,Steve, Lil Pete for making Aug 30th 2013 ... Something to remember

When I first started wedding planning, I was dead-set on a band; I felt that DJ's reminded me of a block party and didn't feel that they were really wedding appropriate. I went to a band's showcase and wanted to book them immediately, but DH asked me to wait for Sand Castle's showcase before making any decisions. We saw Genesis and my mind totally changed. Fabio and Joe were so great, entertaining and fun that I decided that DJ was the way to go (although I let DH think I gave him that one ;) ). When we booked Genesis we also got the the percussionist (thanks for letting us play!!) and photobooth; both the best ideas ever! I also wasn't a huge fan of the photobooth originally, but I was so glad we did! I loved seeing all of pictures and video messages everyone took (we got a really nice book and DVD of everything!). Just getting around to all my reviews! It has been 3 months since my wedding at the Sand Castle and people are still mentioning how amazing my DJ was! Our wedding was such a blast and I do not think one person was sitting down! Fabio had everyone up even people that don’t dance... That just tells you how amazing these guys are! John played everything that we requested. We also had the percussion playing which was such a great addition to the music! We are soo pleased with this company :-) I had to of given genesis name out to like 20 + people lol The paparazzi corner was great! My guest really felt as if they were coming to the main event of the year walking the red carpet with the colored lights and having our names with the wedding date in the background! I will forever be recommending this company to everyone who needs a DJ We love these guys! :-)

Awesome experience! Joe and John were amazing and so was our live percussionist and photobooth attendant. Lighting was great and music was exactly what we wanted and more. John and joe even met us at our house to go over details since we lived far from their office!

AMAZING! I cannot even begin to express how amazing Fabio and John are! All we did was pick out the important music (first dance, cake cutting, entrance, etc) and we left everything else entirely up to them. Our dance floor was packed all night! What a great variety of music! So easy to work with, stress free and quick to respond. The photobooth was a huge hit as well. And it seconded as a guest book which was even better. Best DJ! Everyone should use them!

These guys were great!!!!! They did an amazing job at our wedding! Our guests and us had the best time. We used them for dj, mc, live sax, lighting, and vocalist. John, our dj, even went out of the way to find a singer who fit the exact style we wanted. He was great!!! we got so many compliments regarding the entertainment at our wedding. Genesis is amazing to work with! Fabio was my MC, Joe was my DJ, Rosario was the percussionist and I had a photobooth. The music was amazing all night and the dancefloor was always packed. Fabio motivated my guests to get on the dancefloor without being pushy at all. Guests had so much fun and we all enjoyed Fabio's enthusiasm and hilarious involvement with the bouquet toss! Every song I requested was played at the perfect time for the ceremony and reception. My husband was a little unsure of having the percussionist but admitted after that it made a huge difference with the life of the music and was a great add on. The photobooth attendant made an awesome book of the pictures. We had so much fun looking through the book the next day. We also added on tower lights, a gobo and wireless lighting (which I LOVED having under the tables) Genesis totally made my wedding amazing with their personalities, the added lights, and the fabulous music!! I highly recommend them to anyone!

Better late than never...I booked Genesis Events back in 2010 for my 2011 wedding without even really knowing who they were. I went based on a recommendation from a dear friend who knew the owners of the company personally. I am happy to say that my friend was 120% correct in saying that they are a great, professional company. My wedding day was the best day; my husband and I enjoyed every minute and danced the entire evening. The DJ's knew how to keep the crowd going the entire night. Genesis was (is) so fantastic that my sister booked them for her June 2012 wedding and absolutely loved them as well. She had a multicultural (Latin/Greek) wedding and Genesis knew how to keep the party going. Fabio was the MC for her wedding and all I have to say is "Fantastic". My close friend is getting married in October of 2014 and booked with Genesis since she loved them at my wedding.
