Easy, pleasant and detail oriented!

They were a dream to work with. They went over and above what we asked of them. They were so easy and cared so much about our event. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. We had a stress free wedding because of the staff. Matt and Beatrice, the owners are amazing people!

they did my wedding at the moolah- very knowledgeable about the venue which was made things really easy. the lady who coordinated our event was awesome and kept everything on track

food was great- tastes very homestyle- we got roast beef, chicken marsala, green beans, mashed potatoes, mostaccioli.
and amazing for the price!

Great service and food

Held a luncheon at Genesis Banquet Center for a group of 70 family and friends. The service, food and accommodations were great! I highly recommend Genesis Banquet Center for all your banquet or celebration needs!

Absolutely Loved It!

My husband and I absolutely loved Genesis Catering! The venue was beautiful (we loved the lights), and we loved the fact that we could bundle with the DJ and the cake--it made life a lot easier. Everything flowed so smoothly, and we received so many compliments about the food! We highly recommend this place!

We were thoroughly pleased with Genesis! The pricing is great and we got so many compliments on the food. All of our guests had so much fun. I loved that they set everything up for you so it is one less stress you have to worry about. We had a couple odd requests (i.e. having the Blues game on the TV's) that they found a way to accomplish and make happen for us. I would recommend them to anyone!

Genesis created an everlasting memory for our family.

Excellent Venue!!! Everyone at Genesis went over and beyond my expectations for my Daughter and Son-in-law's wedding reception on August 24, 2019. Our guests are still telling us what a great time they had. Megan is so nice, organized, made all of the planning easy, stress-free and enjoyable. Megan and Sharon were so great at contacting me back when there were calls with questions I had. When I showed up at the reception, the room was decorated so lovely, From the entryway, to the centerpieces, the memory table, head table, and the lighting, it was truly amazing. Everything was perfect! Matt made sure everything was just how we planned it to be. Matt continued to make sure things ran smoothly throughout the whole evening. The Roast Beef, Chicken Modega, Cheddar Souffle Potatoes, Cavatelli Con Broccoli Petite Green Beans, Classic Caesar Salad and Rolls created a perfect menu for our reception. Thank you to the chefs for the absolute, most delicious meal. The buffet lines went fast, and there was plenty of food for everyone.
We had over 250 people at the reception, and had the whole place to ourselves. There was enough of room on the dance floor for everyone,
The photo booth was a big hit! It was used all night long. We have many fun pictures to look back on.
I can't thank Matt, Megan, Sharon, and the whole Genesis staff enough for working hard to make everything so perfect and memorable.

Genesis did an awesome job on my daughters wedding! Chad and Megan were very easy to work with and always available when needed. I called multiple venues and no one else had a price anywhere comparable to Genesis and the food was great! I would not hesitate to recommend them to others!

The staff at Genesis have been awesome! Response times are prompt, they’re very flexible and have been accommodating to all my needs, and also very friendly. I am very confident in the decision we made to have our ceremony and reception at Genesis. Now that our wedding is over, I'm going to miss checking in with Matt and Megan. They are the absolute best. Very friendly, very accommodating and very personable. At no point in time did we ever feel like we had a dumb question or too many questions. We look forward to keeping in touch and will look to have future events with Genesis. The food was amazing - we received so many compliments on how tasty the food was!

Thank you so much Genesis!

Our wedding was an absolute dream, and I put all of my fears in Matt's hands! Him and the staff set up our entire reception, they even set out our decor! This place is absolutely the greatest, from the very first consultation to the clean-up. They set up an accomodating payment schedule, helped us plan our layout, set up the decor, helped keep structure in the reception timeline, and had our 280 guests through the 4 buffet lines in no time! The food was absolutely amazing, we cannot wait to have an excuse to order their catering, the roast beef and mashed potatoes are AMAZING. Extremely nice family, we were so happy to work with! I hope we have a reason to use them again!!

This Venue Was Amazing! We Had Our Wedding Ceremony & Reception Here (July6,2018) And Everything Was PERFECT! From The Wedding Rehearsal To Our Wedding Day! Our Wedding Decorations And Everything Where Beautiful, I Literally Walked Into My Wedding Blown Away! Meagan is the most Patient & Flexible Venue Coordinator Ive ever meet. She was so responsive to every phone call, text , and email. Matt made sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding night and our bartender was THE BEST! She kept our drinks coming ! Everything was not only amazing with decorations & venue but also Price wise! Please please please for any event look into genesis catering & banquet you will not be let down !!!!!!

We had our daughters wedding reception at Genesis and I could not have been more pleased. They had just remodeled and the room was so beautiful! We had our own table decorations and they had everything perfect! The food was Amazing, everyone complimented on how great it all was! Thank you for making the night so special.

I had my wedding at Genesis in November and it was beautiful. The food was on point, the venue was recently updated with lovely neutral colors, and the staff was friendly. Genesis is the best bang for your buck! I was working in a tight budget and didn't think I could afford a banquet center but was able to. 10/10 highly recommend!

We had our wedding reception at the telegraph location on 9/17/17. It was amazing. Leading up to the wedding day they were great with answering any questions I had promptly. The day of I didn't have to worry about a thing. We dropped off all decorations the day before and it was taken care of. The food is SO good! Our guests raved about how good it was. Throughout the reception I was asked how things were going or if we needed anything, but they were on the ball so nothing needed to be requested! We went with the lighting they provide and it was beautiful. The day after I came to pick up my decorations all packed up. Thank you to Genesis staff for being extremely pleasant throughout this whole experience and the night of our reception. All smiles.

Genesis is the best value for the money in St. Louis!!! We received many compliments on the food - apricot chicken & top round of beef. I can't say enough positive compliments about Matt, Megan, Sharon, and their team. They were warm, helpful, professional, flexible. We used both sides of the banquet room, which made it very spacious. The facility is attractive and comfortable, but not super-luxurious if that is your desire. We found their pricing to be by far the best in St. Louis.

We had our wedding/reception at Genesis in September. The entire staff was wonderful and very helpful. I can't say enough about the venue, food, cake and DJ, it was truly a magically night. I couldn’t say any nicer things about Genesis Catering.It was the icing on top of the cake to such a beautiful day for us.
I had my wedding reception September 29th, 2017 at the Telegraph location. Dinner was amazing, the bar service was amazing and so were the employees. They make it so easy to plan your wedding with options for invitations, your wedding cake, DJ, Photobooth, and really anything you want. You can tell they really love their jobs because they do such an incredible job.

Everything leading up to the reception was so easy. Everyone whom worked at Genesis was so easy to talk to and answered any questions that I had. They helped set up put tables and offered any help they could.

We had a lot of people and wanted the reception to be spacious and the venue was perfect.The reception was so affordable and was at the highest quality service. If I ever have any big events again, I would absolutely use Genesis Catering again!!

So thankful for them!!

Very friendly people to work with who really went out of the way for us! Also VERY affordable. Everything was perfect! The food was delicious, their in-house DJ was great, and everything ran very smoothly. Megan also did phenomenal decorating for us (we dropped everything off the day before). The only thing I would have changed is getting to pick which food we wanted to try beforehand so we could have made sure to pick the best dishes (the tasting is standard). Highly recommend!

I remember going through the process of asking venues and caters for quotes for our wedding. One after another we kept getting figures that made you ask yourself, "how does anyone afford to get married?". Our wedding had upwards of 225 people attending so, we had to find somewhere we could afford and also give our guests a nice area to celebrate with us. We came across the Moolah Shriner Center in Creve Coeur, who uses Genesis for catering. Were we ever grateful we found them. The people at the Shriner Center and Genisus were very easy to work with and answered all questions that we had. We were also given suggestions for preferred Wedding Cake bakery (Wedding Wonderland) and DJ (John Hoffman), which made some of the other items in wedding planning easier. Our food items we picked had a mixture of both the Classic and Deluxe buffet items. The food was excellent. Mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed carrots, Pork Tenderloin, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Mostaccioli (St. Louis tradition) and the beginnings of bread and salad. We also had a open bar and the selection was pretty much anything you can find here in St. Louis. We stuck to the basics but the beer selection was great. It also came with mixed drinks. Over all, the price and overall experience was everything that simple folks like myself could ever want. Great food, great service, great venue, and a great night for our wedding. We would definitely recommend Genesis to anyone!

I could write a novel of glowing reviews for Genesis. Both my husband and I are beyond pleased with the job they did for our wedding reception. I stumbled upon Genesis thanks to the Knot and am so grateful I did. It offered everything we needed and wanted! When we began searching for venues, we had our work cut out for us! We had well over 300 guests, I didn’t want to share my reception with another wedding or with the public, AND they had to have excellent food! It seriously became mission impossible to find the perfect venue for us…until we came across Genesis! It was perfect! We were quite pleased with the price, the staff are beyond AMAZING and the food is honestly some of the best food I’ve had in my life, let alone at a wedding reception! The venue had plenty of space for our guests! Megan was truly a God-send! I swear we must have exchanged several hundred emails/phone calls, etc. and she was always eager to help in whatever way she could and answered ALL of my questions! I think she even became my wedding coordinator at times. She is the all-time perfect coordinator to have, especially if you’re a Type-A perfectionist like me! She made everything so easy for us! We are so appreciative and grateful for her! Matt was very helpful the day-off, too! My mom started trying to clean and tear down towards the end of the night and he insisted that he and his staff do it so we could enjoy the rest of the night! Seriously, the only venue I know of that would let you do that! I cannot even begin to describe how delicious the food was! Our tasting made it impossible to decide on the menu because everything was so good. We selected a few options that we didn’t even taste beforehand and I honestly wouldn’t have changed a thing! We still get comments from our guests about how good the food was and our wedding was over 3 months ago! I still crave their cheesy potatoes at times, so we will definitely be returning customers!

Chad, Megan, and the whole Genesis catering team were fantastic throughout the whole wedding planning process. They were always quick with responses whenever questions would arise. Most importantly, they were extremely flexible and did things that other caterers would have charged us a lot extra for. They made things run very smoothly the day of as Chad was there the whole night adjusting the time of the buffet after we arrived late and letting us keep our decorations at the hall for an extra week while we were on our honeymoon. I would definitely recommend Genesis for all of your catering needs.

I used Genesis for my wedding reception on June 11. I grew up in St. Louis but I now live in KS and have for the past 6 years. So I was having a lot of worry and anxiety from planning a wedding from a state away and being rusty on potential locations and vendors in the area.
Thanks to a suggestion from a friend, I came upon genesis. I had the absolute greatest ease planning with them!
They are so friendly! They are so kind and flexible when it comes to scheduling. They are so great to communicate with! And they do A LOT of things that you wouldn't think of!
Megan and Matt were life savers for us during the planning process.
The food was amazing. And the pricing is SO affordable!
I am very pleased with my experience with Genesis!

Chad, Matt and Megan were the best to work with for our wedding.
The staff prior to our wedding was always responsive. The food tasting was amazing. All of this made us very confident for our wedding day.

The wedding day I walked into the reception room at the Moolah and it was PERFECT. It was set up exactly how was discussed. The staff bartender (Cheryl) was so sweet and served the groom and I. The food was great. Everything turned out exactly how was envisioned we had no complaints what so ever.

If you're looking to host a wedding or any other big important life event, these are the people you want to deal with and this is the food you want to be eating. Chad and staff: Thank you so much for making our day 1 in a million! We appreciate it!

LOOK NO FURTHER!!! Genesis Banquet Center is THE place to have your wedding reception!! The staff is incredible…they are friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to accommodate any wants or wishes. The food is AMAZING and we got so many compliments on it from our guests. The room size can accommodate a large number of guests and there is still plenty of room for dancing.Choosing Genesis Banquet Center is really a no brainer. I used Genesis for my wedding in October 2015. They were great from start to finish. They answered all of my questions and were available every time I called and emailed. The food was also delicious- I was very happy with it! There are so many different aspects of planning a wedding and Genesis made that part so much less stressful for me! You want good food, great people to work with then this is the place. Matt and all the staff at Genesis were so nice and did everything they could to make our day so wonderful and stress free. I had a candy bar and they set it up exactly the way I want and keep it stocked with the candy I brought. The food was excellent and the room was so beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

You want good food, great people to work with then this is the place. Matt and all the staff at Genesis were so nice and did everything they could to make our day so wonderful and stress free. I had a candy bar and they set it up exactly the way I want and keep it stocked with the candy I brought. The food was excellent and the room was so beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Our daughter's wedding reception at the Moolah Ballroom catered by Genesis was absolutely fabulous! We could not have wished for a more perfect night! Chad and his staff were fantastic! They are professional and made sure everything was just as we requested right down to the smallest of details! Could not be happier!!!

Genesis Catering provided the dinner for my wedding earlier this year, and I'm still getting compliments about them months later! They were very reasonably priced, and the quality of their food was excellent! Everyone I worked with was very professional and helpful.

Genesis was absolutely wonderful in catering our wedding reception. We opted for an hors d'oeuvres buffet and all of the food tasted exactly like it did at the tasting. We had several people ask who our caterer was because everyone loved the food! Chad was wonderful to work with and they answer all of your questions quickly!

It was a total pleasure dealing with Genesis Catering in the planning for our daughter's wedding. Our primary contact was Chad, but no matter who you spoke with whether it be Matt, Megan or any other staff member they were extremely helpful in every step of the process. The food that was prepared for the reception was extremely delicious and the service was outstanding and we received so many compliments from our guests. If we do another event there's no doubt my mind we would pick Genesis Catering.

The staff at Genesis were all so helpful and efficient. They really made our day run smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests were very impressed with the quality. Their rates made our wedding and reception so affordable that it truely was a stress free event. I would highly recommend them for any event!

I just had Genesis cater my wedding reception on Nov 2nd. They did an absolute wonderful job! The food was amazing, the staff was professional, every thing was set up perfect. Several family members complimented me on how great the beef and chicken was! I LOVED how they plated the salads for my guest at the end of the buffet to save time at the buffet. Chad and Megan both were extremely helpful in any questions we had and were very friendly and professional. I’m so glad we chose Genesis to cater our reception. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Genesis was a great place to have our reception! I will be honest, I originally did not want my reception at a typical reception hall. After the powers that be (my parents) didn't give me much of a choice we found genesis. I was SO impressed with their ability to make the reception hall look and feel unique and individualized. They let me bring is so much and even set up the centerpieces for me! Megan in the office is always quick to get back to you and offers great recommendations for vendors. My breath was taken away when I walked in, the normally beautiful room was transformed into exactly what I wanted! And the food...WOW! Everyone in my bridal party got a second plate. I got more complements on the food and service than I ever thought possible! It's nice to know that my guests enjoyed it as much as I did!

Wanted to thank everyone from Genesis Catering for doing an OUTSTANDING job at our daughters reception! It was held in the Moolah Shrine Oasis Room. Couldn't get over how beautiful everything was...it was even better than expected! As the parents, we were a little nervous, so we arrived early to make sure everything was ready and in place. When we walked in, I had tears in my eyes....they turned the room into an elegant ballroom with dimmed lights, beautiful chair covers w/black bows and tablecloths, candlelight and formally dressed staff running around making everything perfect! Chad was there all calm and with a big smile....he knew we would be pleased, and we were! The bartenders were all ready to pour us a cocktail and they too, were ready for the night! The BEST part of the evening is when our daughter, the bride walked in......she said, "Oh mom.....it's so BEAUTIFUL in here!" as she just gazed across the room looking at everything. That is all I wanted to know....I wanted to know that our daughter and her new husband loved what we found for them. Also, our cupcake lady was a bridesmaid, so Chad's staff put together a display of the cupcakes for us.....that was so appreciated, because we were stressing about how to get them there and set up. Anything that was coming our way, Chad made it work so that we could relax and enjoy the night! Did I mention the food? INCREDIBLE!! Everyone raved about the roast beef.....I am still craving it today, it was fabulous! The whole menu was superb and having the open bar was such a bonus! Thank you Chad and staff.....you are were so courteous to all our guests and so helpful through the evening, I can't tell you how grateful we are to all of you! The people at Genesis are such a pleasure to work with. They walk you through the entire reception process. They were all willing to make time for you to go over how you wanted things to be set up, when you wanted to eat, ect. The facility was beautiful, and the staff well dressed. We had our September 1st wedding at the Moolah Ballroom and I can not say enough about Chad and the whole staff! He is such an easygoing, amicable person to work with! There was nothing that we asked that he did not do for us, plus some extras. The food was good, staff was very professional and super courteous to all of our guests. People have been talking about how lovely everything was and I am sure they will continue! I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to Genesis and I am glad we chose them to make our day even more memorable! I cannot possibly say enough good things about Genesis. Chad was AMAZING to work with - he answered every question we had during the planning thoroughly and always got back to us quickly. The food was outstanding and even picky eaters raved about how phenomenal the roast beef was! Special kudos to Genesis because one of my guests and I both have gluten allergies and they catered to our needs flawlessly. All of the Genesis staff went above and beyond the evening of our wedding to make sure that we were taken care of and that things went smoothly. Not a single detail was missed and they were beyond professional and kind to us, as well as to all of our guests. When I was 14, my entire junior high class went out and celebrated at Genesis Catering's event venue. I remember the food being absolutely delicious, and even at that age, I had them in the back of my mind. 11 years later, I found myself going back to them for my wedding caterers! The food and staff service was excellent - we had so many of our friends and family come up to us during the reception telling us how impressed and delicious the food was. We held our wedding reception at a different location, but fortunately, the Genesis team knew exactly what to do there and was on their game the whole night. As well, when we needed anything answered or had a concern, Megan always responded in a quick manner and assured us not to worry. I definitely recommend them as your caterer, especially if you like delicious food and great service!

Genesis provided both the catering and the venue for my reception, at their main location. They were AMAZING! They were by far the lowest price per person that I found in the St. Louis area (17.95 per), and that was partially due to us getting married in an off season (March). They were incredibly helpful throughout the process, and they were also just so friendly and set me at ease. The food was very good, and we weren't able to try it before the actual reception. Great staff!

Genesis Banquet Center has the best food around town. My guests are still talking about the food almost 4 years later. I wish I could do it all over again just to get a taste of the amazing food. They were very understanding and helpful during the planning of my wedding. My husband was serving in Iraq at the time that I was planning the wedding, and they reassured me that if he was not able to make it home for the ceremony they would assist me in any way they could.

Genesis was my favorite vendor I worked with by far. They were very responsive to every email I sent (which any bride can appreciate). When it came to preparing for the big day - they were very helpful down to ever last detail and discussed everything with me.

Our reception was an outside catering event. Genesis did an awesome job at the reception. They did everything from the setup, food, cake cutting, etc. I had so many comments about how great our food was. I also enjoyed the food! Genesis did everything they said they would and more! I was speechless by how amazing of a job they did.

We used them for our wedding reception and everything was perfect! They are reasonably priced and have great menu options. All our food tasted amazing! They went above and beyond my expectations...I had their classic buffet but my cousin needed food that was gluten free so they made him a plate free of charge. Genesis was the best decision we could have made. Everyone we worked with was super nice and courteous! They are teh best team and work with you for countless hours. The food was spectacular, much better than some reception halls we had tried and the price was awesome for how much we got compared to other halls charging much more for much less. I would recommend Genesis for everyone! We are talking about using them for our dad's 50th birthday next year.

Couldnt have asked for a better experience. They were extremely flexible, friendly and had a very fair price. The did an excellent job. I didnt have time to decorate the room so they told me if I brought out all my decorations and told them how I wanted them set up they would do it for me. And they did and it was perfect!!

we tried them at bridal show and went back to ther booth at several other shows to see if they were consistant and they were I can't say that about some other caterers. There food is great no complaints at all and the selection for the price was even better because of our budget I never thought that I would be able to have carving service at my daughters wedding but we did. Her wedding was on October 3 2010 a sunday afternoon odd but it was great there is a discount for friday evening saturday afternoons and all day sunday, which made it the more reasonable definately something to look at. They also did the weddding ceremony for us as well and did such a great job. I would highly recommend them for your wedding it not just the catering which is fantastic. What helps is that it is a family owned business so they really try hard and it shows. They also just redid the fixtures so it isn't gold anymore all brushed chrome it really was nice.

They were extremely flexible, the prices were much more reasonable than most competition we contacted, and the service at our wedding reception went flawlessly. We had a great experience at Genesis Banquet Center! We had plenty of space using both rooms to host our wedding reception of about 150 people. We were glad we used both rooms to make it not feel crowded. The food was quite decent for the price; many people gave compliments on it. The staff were so great to work with and incredibly generous, flexible and helpful. The price simply cannot be beat compared to other places we looked in the area. While it was not the most luxurious or unique location, our guests had a wonderful time, we ate well and there was very little stress in the planning of it. The staff even did a lot of the set up and decoration since most of our guests were at the wedding ceremony. It was also particularly beautiful to have had the Christmas decorations out as that really added to the atmosphere! Our only small complaint was that they moved the evening along so quickly and efficiently (which was great) that people may not have had time to get seconds of the buffet or realized that there was even a bar to get drinks from. Overall though, everyone had a wonderful time!

We greatly appreciated Genesis and would highly recommend it to others!

We are so happy we chose Genesis for our big reception. My brother had his reception here 3 years ago and it was so great that we decided to book here, too, even after looking at several other venues. Matt, Megan, and DJ John were fabulous! Our food was delicious. The open bar was great. My husband dropped off the centerpieces the day before with a picture of what I had in mind and Megan took care of them all. They looked better than I had expected! The staff was incredibly sweet the whole night, too. We chose John as our DJ and his system was so organized that we were able to basically pick exactly what we wanted. He could not have done a better job. It was seriously perfect. Thank you all so much for making our night so special.

Fajita/Taco Bar

We knew early on that we wanted Mexican food for our reception. We met with Genesis because we saw that they had a "South of the Border" package. We were able to fully customize the package down to types of tortillas and various toppings (black beans, pico, guac, olives, types of cheese, etc.) We were also able to coordinate chips and salsa at all 23 table for a very reasonable price. Many of our attendants later told us that they loved the taco bar instead of the traditional wedding fare.

Very informative and friendly

Megan was very responsive in replying to my emails when I asked her questions about their facility in regard to planning a wedding and reception. A few days later, my fiancé and I met with Megan. She gave us a tour of the room that we would use if we booked with them. She explained all the options and prices. I never felt pressured into making a decision and believe that she will try to make this experience enjoyable for us.

My husband David and I had our wedding reception here in April of 2017 and we were very pleased with the service and the value! We were going a little crazy looking for a venue that would hold our 350 guests, not completely break the bank, and look nice too. Thankfully we came across Genesis Banquet Center! We worked mostly with Megan leading up to the big day, and she was very accommodating and helpful! She answered any questions I had promptly and thoroughly. She allowed me to feel comfortable and confident as the day approached, and by the time the day came, everything went smoothly!

The venue is very nice with a large, open feel, raised head table, lighting options, and plenty of room on the dance floor! Our favorite part was that everything is negotiable in terms of additions to the base per-person price (chair covers, china, lighting packages) so we weren't paying for things that weren't important to us. We could add on the things we really wanted and so it felt very customized to what we wanted!

We had so many compliments on how pretty the venue looked, how nice the staff was, and how AMAZING the food was! We loved the buffet options we chose and so did our guests.

If you are looking for a venue that holds a good-sized wedding, you really can't beat Genesis Banquet Center in terms of value and service!

Genesis catered my wedding reception at The Moolah Ballroom. The people that I worked with (Matt, Chad, and Megan) at Genesis were fantastic. The food was delicious (I got many compliments even weeks after the wedding!) and the set up of the room was beautiful. Chad made himself available in the days before the wedding to make sure that I was happy with everything and to answer any questions that I had. They definitely made it possible for us to enjoy the perfect day ever and not have to worry about anything at all. I would recommend Genesis to anyone that has any kind of event to cater!

Brought the wrong green beans, very young staff member came to me (bride) with questions during the night, saw staff make angry frustrated faces and then smile large when they realized I saw them, BUT we had wonderful correspondance prior to event, food was great (we got many compliments), one staff member went above and beyond during the evening, and the staff dealt well with issues with our kitchen -

Great food but disappointed

Very easy to work with. The food was great and they were very professional setting up the buffets, cleaning the table, etc. The disappointment came when it was time to serve the cake. The bride and groom had cut the cake and about 45 minutes later it had still not been served. My florist actually had to take the top of the cake off and start cutting the cake! The servers acted like they had never cut a cake before. Many guests had already left so I ended up bringing half the cake home!!

I recently was married in early March of 2010 and I decided to go with Genesis Banquet Center to host my reception. At first I thought that Genesis was fabulous and could find nothing to complain about with their facility or their services.
A few weeks before the wedding I was given a diagram of the layout of the room that my reception would be held in and was asked to assign table numbers to the tables drawn on the diagram and then make table numbers so that it would help my guests find their seat. I thought this was a wonderful idea and appreciated them giving me the diagram, but was a bit frustrated when I was told that the room HAD TO BE set up the way their diagram said and that we couldn't arrange the tables any other way, but I accepted it and filled it out and returned it to them.
To my great frustration and embarrassment I arrived to my reception hall on the night of my wedding to find that the way the room was set up was NOT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE to the way they told me it was going to be set up. This wouldn't have been a problem except for the fact that the way they set up the table numbers and cards on the tables ended up putting my In-Laws on the outside of the room nowhere close to the head table by my parents. It made me look like I did that on purpose and they were not very pleased to say the least.
On top of that, my father had to repeatedly have discussions with the bartender about the amount of alcohol he was putting in the drinks (basically none), they removed the food off of the floor before everyone had a chance to get seconds if they wanted and then refused to allow my parents to take a portion of the leftovers home, even though they paid for the food, and then started to "clean up" the room while our reception was still going on!
I would not use this service again in the future. The only 100% positive thing I can say about them is that one of their employees, Megan, was absolutely wonderful and did her best to make the day go smoothly and I'm not sure how my night would have turned out if it hadn't been for her.

Please note the food was wonderful - it was simply everything else that wasn't. Communication is horrid. No one knows what is going on. The office staff can't answer questions and the owner is the only one who apparently knows what it going on & he doesn't return phone calls or emails in a timely manner. I got three different price quotes on extra bar time. Things that were said to be included, I found out later were not. I don't know why I bothered filling out any info sheets for the wedding day because nothing was set up by the time it was promised and most of what I asked for wasn't provided. I called specifically to ask about a locking card box for security purposes, was assured by the owner and marked yes to wanting one, and instead I got a bowl with a napkin put in it. Not only could someone have walked off with my cards but it looked so horrible and trashy next to the rest of our beautiful decorations. The poor man at the venue couldn't hardly find the table clothes, napkins or mirrors that were supposedly "easy to find" and on top of that, the venue had to call the catering owner to get the room layout sent over. My head table didn't have a table cloth or table skirt on it not did the guest book table or gift table, until 2:45 when the ceremony was at 430. This pushed my pictures back & shortened my time because we were all scrambling to get the tables in order.
Apparently the owner was at the reception but didn't bother to speak to myself or my new husband about how things were going. We also had several people upset over the food just being cleaned up with no notice. The wait staff at the venue was wonderful but I can't say the same for the owner or his office staff. They even lost my first deposit & when I emailed questioning what was going on I didn't even get a reply. I was just disappointed by the lack of professionalism throughout & then when asked why the things that went wrong occurred the blame was quickly placed anywhere but with this company.
