The MVP of Our Wedding Day

My husband and I got married in August and I truly don't even know where to even begin with expressing how much I recommend Generation Y Entertainment. Caleb, was genuinely the MVP of our wedding day. He played music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and each moment was so perfect. He was flexible, incredibly talented, so extremely kind, patient, and such a fun and cool human being. My husband and I enjoyed working with him so much that right before our exit, we told him that when we are back in town, we wanted to get dinner with him and his wife LOL! We wholeheartedly were going to miss our interactions and didn't want to part ways. His talent in song selection and being a DJ is out of this world. He works so diligently to curate the perfect vibes for your day. He sends over such a detailed google doc and asks so many great and important questions before your day to ensure the music will be spot on. During our last call in preparation for the big day, I was mentioning a funny story about how on my bachelorette, we played "What's Up?" by The 4 Non Blondes about 500 times, since that is my favorite song. I was expressing to Caleb how it was the theme song of my whole bachelorette trip. Fast forward to our wedding reception and he queued all my bridesmaids to the center of the circle and played that song so I could enjoy it once more with not only all of my girls, but my husband. He played it at the perfect time and I think you could see my smile from 1,000 yards away! It was such a highlight of the reception and it shows how much he listens and cares about all of his brides & grooms. My husband and I STILL have guests who rave about how that was the "best reception DJ they have ever experienced" and what a blast we all had dancing together. I can promise you, without a shadow of a doubt, that if you are looking for the perfect DJ, Caleb & Generation Y Entertainment are the way to go. 10000/10 would recommend!

Amazing Experience!

My husband and I got married in October of 2025 and the music at our wedding was one of the most important parts! We had high expectations for our big day, and Caleb went above and beyond! Everything was seamless from start to finish. We had a Dance Floor playlist that we created, and he played everything we asked. He was attentive to the crowd and kept the party going the whole time! Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and first dance songs were flawless as well (no mics issues the entire day either!). We would not have changed a thing and HIGHLY recommend the GYE team. My wedding

Caleb, is hands down the best DJ and EMCEE you can get for a wedding or event. He was professional, funny and detail orientated. He ensured every single detail no matter the size was fulfilled to your expectations. He coordinated everything with me and my wife well in advance, and the night before. he was on-time, provided what was requested and handled everything that was or could of been thrown at him.

Every single one of my guest that attended my wedding complimented Caleb on his work. Caleb is 10/10, his equipment 10/10, and your wedding or event DJ needs will be 10/10 if you get this guy!

Caleb was absolutely incredible!!! From the very beginning, he was a pleasure to work with—easygoing, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our night unforgettable. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and truly understood the vibe we were going for. Caleb was a huge help in crafting our timeline and offering song suggestions. Best Day Ever! Thank you, Caleb!

Caleb is an amazing DJ, and I would highly recommend him to everyone!

When I started the planning process for my daughter's wedding, the first thing I asked for was the best DJ in town. I know how important a DJ is to the overall wedding experience. Everyone I spoke with recommended Caleb and Generation Y Entertainment. From our first encounter to the actual wedding day, he was professional, thorough, detail-oriented and had great ideas and suggestions to help us plan the day. If we had questions or needed guidance with picking certain songs, he was always available and prompt with returning emails. The ceremony music, sound and microphones worked beautifully. During the reception, he was good at reading the room and kept everyone dancing all night. Everyone had a blast!

June at the Lightner

My wife and I used Caleb for our wedding in June and can’t recommend him enough. He was very thorough on what kind of music we wanted and how we wanted the flow of the night to go. He was very accommodating and ready and willing to change things on the fly. He is great at getting people dancing but in no ways overbearing. He does not try to make himself the center of the show and only interjects when need. He was perfect for a fun night and making it about us.

Best DJ In The United States!

Caleb was exceptional! Beyond exceptional. He absolutely shut the dance floor down at our wedding in the best way possible! He knows exactly how to move the crowd, get them up off the seats and on the dance floor! Not one person at our wedding was sitting down; they were all up dancing all night long. My guests raved about the music and Caleb all night. He also has the coolest and sleekest DJ set up I’ve ever seen. It’s so sleek, that he really can blend well in any reception environment! He threw the best wedding reception I’ve ever been to! Caleb is not only full of fun and has an extensive music knowledge base, he’s very kind, approachable, honest, high integrity and so accommodating! He took the time to get to know my husband and me and asked engaging and thoughtful questions. So as he MC’d through the night, he was able to speak from the heart and with genuine words and emotions about our family and marriage. He was excellent at keeping the night going, moving the crowd in the perfect direction, helping out the bridal party behind the scenes on where to stand and when to come up and make the speech or where to stand when they entered the reception. The night was flawless. The DJ is a HUGE part, if not the heart beat of the reception, and Caleb is the gentleman any bride and groom would want and be lucky to have for the job. His professionalism, kindness, genuine care for me and my husband and our guests is truly not like any other DJ you will find. He listened to our likes and dislikes and you can trust he will make your night magical. Caleb is so detailed and cares so much about how the reception is executed; you can really relax and trust he will go above and beyond to produce an incredible and unforgettable night. I cannot praise him enough. Thank you Caleb for all your hard work and for blessing us with the best party we’ve ever been to and memories to last a lifetime. We are so grateful for you! Best DJ Ever!

We hired generationy for our wedding last month and Caleb was the best!

He walked us through our timeline and perfectly matched our style!

We only had 65 guests but the dance floor was active all night long! Now that’s hard to do! He kept everything upbeat and even had some props for some of our must play songs.

Fantastic DJ

We loved working with Caleb! He bills himself as a non-cheesy DJ and definitely delivers on this. He is easy to communicate with leading up to the event, with an organized process to select songs for different parts of the event. During our reception, he kept the evening running smoothly and professionally, and the dance floor was going strong all night long. He did a great job understanding what we wanted (and didn't want!) played, while also playing off and responding to the crowd. Would definitely recommend!

The best in the business!

Caleb did an A++ job DJ'ing our Amelia Island wedding! The pre-wedding prep was easy, playlist was exactly what we envisioned, and he helped the dinner/dancing/speeches transition seamlessly. The dance floor was filled for the last two hours of the night, so of course we will be referring him to our friends and family every time someone asks. Thank you Caleb for being a part of our special day, we had the best time!

Must Hire GYE for your Wedding!

Generation Y Entertainment, specifically Caleb, made our wedding awesome!! They were extremely professional since day 1 and made us feel like we were in the best hands when it came to one of the most important elements of our big day- the music. GYE provided us with an information sheet well in advance to fill out with every single detail we possibly needed to think about for the wedding. It was a great system to use and helped a lot when it came to brainstorming our vibe and ironing out the details. Caleb’s setup was chic and low profile which matched the venue well. He came nicely dressed which we appreciated as well. He nailed our ceremony lighting, music, and sound system, transferred to a smooth cocktail hour, then helped keep our reception alive! He followed our wishes to a tee and was not a cheesy DJ 🙂 Having someone keep our timeline going and making it look easy was amazing. He also had a lot of suggestions for music if you did not know exactly what you were looking for. Would definitely have Caleb back if we had to do it all over again!

Incredible DJ!

I can't recommend Caleb enough. He was our DJ for our wedding this past November and I don't think I've ever been to a wedding where the dance floor was consistently as full as ours because of his music. Music can make or break the dance floor and we were thrilled with Caleb's delivery. From the intro meeting to the final meeting before the event, he was very professional, listened to all of our requests, and was very organized throughout the whole process. We had a couple of pretty broad but strict requests and he fulfilled every one of them. Definitely recommend!!

Amazing! Best entertainment

I have only amazing things to say about Generation Y! Caleb was so helpful from our first inquiry to the weeks leading up to our big day. Not only was he personable, but our dance floor was NEVER empty. We have had multiple friends and family members reach out over the last few weeks to compliment him and the atmosphere for the dance floor! Song after song he crushed it. Throughout the night he stayed in great communication with me and my planners, ensuring things went smoothly. I would 100% recommend Gen Y to anyone hosting a large event in the future!

Caleb came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. From the consultation to the event Caleb was professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He truly had an interest in making the music what we imagined. He took special note to specific songs and had some great suggestions. The most amazing experience!

Caleb was our DJ for our vow renewal and reception in October 2023 at The White Room and I cannot rave enough about how amazing he was!! From our initial consultation that we had before hiring him to the very last song he played at our reception he went above and beyond. We had him for the entirety of our day including the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and he was on point throughout the entire night. We have already received so many complements about how amazing he was and I am sure we will have many more of these complements to come!! Caleb was amazing at working with you on what your vision was for your wedding in regards to music selection and making that a reality. He had all of the guests on the dance floor the entire night and there was NEVER a dull moment or lapse. Even when it began to sprinkle a little bit he was amazing at ensuring they party continued while he and the white room coordinated if we could continue outside and even improvised by using covers over his equipment to ensure that the party went on. He was amazing at helping layout the flow of the night and ensuring all transitions went smoothly. I can honestly say that throughout the day I had no stress due to the amazing work of Caleb and all of my vendors!! THANK YOU CALEB!!

Caleb is a MUST if you want a fun wedding

Caleb is INCREDIBLE!!!! He fit in so well with all of our guests, and everyone couldn’t stop complimenting on how amazing he was! We had so much fun and Caleb was a huge part of that. I promise you, if you’re not looking for cheesy or boring, go with GYE. He brought in his vintage mic (which was a fun touch for pictures) for our speeches with uplighting, hidden mics for ceremony, literally anything you can think of. He helps you work through every detail, even the ones you wouldn’t have thought of. His response time is very quick, so he definitely eased a lot of stress. Not to mention his personality is so uplifting and he’s so easy to love!!! The majority of our guests were a younger crowd, but Caleb succeeded on getting everyone on the dance floor. He’s very personable and gets to know his couples more than any other vendor. Highly recommend for your special day!!

Caleb is not only a DJ. Caleb was the ring leader. Caleb was the icing on the cake. Caleb was part of the family...
From the start, the whole process was more than I can type in this review. I was very overwhelmed when it came to selecting vendors. When I first talked to Caleb on the phone he checked all my boxes and put all my fears behind me. I was able to work on a Google Doc with him throughout the whole engagement, selecting and reselecting songs and order of events. He really didn't need to be told what to do, but the type A bride I was, I gave him a very detailed explanation of when to stay what, and when to play each song and for how long.

Never once did I even THINK about this Google Doc the day of my wedding because Caleb was always 3 steps ahead of me. I felt like he was part of the wedding party, he was everywhere I needed him to be. I would go ask him to do something I had just thought of and before I could get back to my groom, it was already happening ! It was like magic, I don't know how to explain it.

Part of his service that really hooked me was the fact that everyone with speaking parts were going to be mic up. This was huge. How many weddings have you gone to and you couldn't hear anything? Not our wedding!

The compliments are still coming in about how well that night flowed so smoothly! Caleb, you will forever have our business and there will not be another DJ in town like you.

If you have made it this far, do yourself a favor and book with Caleb now. It will be the best dollars you spend on your special day, I promise you!

Professional and Easy Going

I knew I wanted to hire Generation Y after attending my friend's wedding back in 2016 and seeing how amazing their team was at getting everyone to dance and keeping the energy alive. Grayson from Generation Y Entertainment was so professional and easy going on our wedding day. He made sure to play all of our requested songs and was more than willing to take song requests from our guests. Their equipment including lighting was up to date and fit well with our decor and venue. Can't recommend Generation Y enough.

My husband and I recently had our wedding and we were so honored to have Caleb from GYE DJ for us. Music is very important to the both of us and after attending a lot of weddings we were definitely picky about our DJ. The 5 star reviews say it all. From the start Caleb was nothing but friendly, accommodating and open to all of our music interests. He had two facetime meetings with us which were so helpful and he helped to create our timeline for our wedding day. He was very organized and created a google doc so that we could keep track of our timeline and add our must play music for our day. My husband and I are very into pop punk and Caleb stepped up to the plate to give us the best punk concert yet! He was extremely professional and kind to all of our guests and we heard nothing but great things about him by our friends and family. I HIGHLY recommend GYE. Every Millennials Dream Dance Party

From the very first call we had with Caleb, we knew that we were going to have the best wedding entertainment if we booked GYE. He listened closely to what we wanted for our wedding which was a well coordinated timeline, funny and lighthearted MC’ing throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, and nonstop lip-sync worthy, head banging, fist-pumping songs that were a mix of throwback r&b, angsty punk, and EDM songs that were nostalgic for all of the young millennials in the room. From the first call to after the wedding was done and over with, we felt like he and his team truly CARED about us and everything we wanted for our big day. We had almost every single guest tell us that our DJ was amazing. This was evident when we looked around and saw everyone screaming the lyrics to Mr Brightside, followed by Caleb himself showing everyone how to hit the dougie. He was able to engage everyone on the dance floor without playing your typical wedding songs like the electric slide, the cha cha slide, or the Cupid shuffle (not that there’s anything wrong with that, we just personally wanted to hear songs that we grew up with and loved, and he curated a playlist that fit us and all of our wedding guest perfectly). Having an experienced and FUN, non-cheesy DJ is critical for your wedding day, and I cannot recommend him enough. If you’re a Gen Z / millennial who wants to have a memorable dance party, book Generation Y Entertainment NOW or you’ll regret it.

Spectacular Night

Caleb at Generation Y was a dream to work with. He was very professional and fun. He was super supportive in helping with the song playlist that coordinated with all the wedding events such as cutting the cake, first dance as well as the ceremony songs. Also the lighting was spectacular. Our guest had a blast dancing the night away.

This company is SECOND TO NONE!!! Like so many others, our wedding was rescheduled because of COVID. After some fantastic communication, they worked with me on a new date. I worried a little about how the reception would flow since we were now going to have fewer people but Caleb kept the party going till the last minute. He got EVERYONE out on the dance floor, everyone from 5 years old to 92 years old. He also may have incited a dance off, during which my new husband did "the worm". His expert direction avoided any awkward moments while people wondered what the next thing was... Our venue was fabulous, the vendors were amazing but Generation Y made this party the absolute best day ever.

Best dj in jacksonville

I cannot speak highly enough about GenerationY and their DJ services at my wedding. Grayson exceeded all expectations I had and went above and beyond putting a personal touch on his services during our wedding. The little details like playing a special song during our first look, to giving our parents MOH and best man a heads up about when they were up for dances or toasts, and to making sure we were having a good time and had a drink in our hands. My brother who used to be a DJ said he would never go that far out of the way giving a heads up to guests and would just make the announcement calling on the mic whoever was needed. My husband at first even thought he worked at the wedding venue from how much Grayson was involved and made an impact. Do yourself a favor and hire these people!

Best DJ in the area hands down!

Grayson was an awesome DJ! From the start this company has been on top of it and super organized. We met via FaceTime before even choosing Generation Y Entertainment and Grayson was so awesome with his details. Then, a month before our wedding we met again. Grayson had sent a GoogleDoc to fill out that had all the information needed for our ceremony and reception with ideas for songs as well. They were flexible when I did not think about timing and needed to add an hour. The day of Grayson was on time and dealt with the insane heat while setting up. Everyone said they could hear the ceremony so clear. Grayson was so awesome he even moved the dance floor to outside the barn because it was so hot in the barn. He was very professional but was also down to have a great time with us! I cannot recommend Generation Y Entertainment enough! If you are getting married in the St. Augustine area hire them-seriously you won’t regret it and they will give the best ceremony and reception!!!

Absolutely AMAZING!!

One month later and people are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding!! Everyone keeps telling us they want to do it all again! Best decision ever

I now understand when everyone says how important the music during wedding day to make or break the party. Grayson created a great energy in the room and had the dance floor packed from start to finish. He really listened to exactly what I wanted and created moments I will cherish forever (like a killer finish of Bohemian Rhapsody). The guests were loving the playlist and it was fun for all age groups. Grayson did an excellent job to not only bring the best music, but able to help the events of the evening flow very well. My feet were tired for days!

Grayson from GYE was amazing! We were worried that a smaller wedding due to Covid would mean that it would be boring. That was definitely not the case thanks to Grayson. All of our guests were on the dance floor most of the evening. I know that I didn't sit down once after the dancing started.

We met with him two times before the wedding, the first time to go over what they offer and the second to get a better feel for the music and general vibe for the evening. Grayson was so easy going and knowledgeable at the same time. GYE came highly recommended from all the other vendors we were using and I totally agree. They are a must have for any wedding!!

Awesome Experience with GYE!

I would highly recommend GYE! Throughout the wedding planning process they were our favorite vendor to work with - responsive, organized, friendly, and professional. I knew from go I wouldn't have to worry about music the day of the wedding, they had it handled! Even when Covid crashed our original date and we had to reschedule, they were flexible and prompt with getting back to us. We had a daytime wedding and worried people might not be interested in dancing but Grayson got people out on the dance floor - guests are still telling us what a great time they had! I would definitely use them again!

Are you ready to party?!

From the moment we met Caleb from Generation Y Entertainment, we just knew we had to have him as our DJ! My now hubby Michael has a huge appreciation for music and it was a top priority in picking the absolute best of the best for our entertainment vendor. It was honestly so impressive that Caleb met with us in person for our very first meeting to see if we were all the "right fit for each other". Now a days most vendors just do phone conversations, so it really helped us feel even more comfortable with him. As a very detail oriented and meticulous bride, Caleb definitely had patience when working with us. He literally executed all of the requests we had and worked with us to make sure the timing on each of our specialty songs was exactly what we were wanting prior to the event. Talk about flexibility, Caleb would even contact us after hours to help work with our schedule if we had various questions/concerns. He truly wanted to help make everything perfect for us. The day of the wedding was absolutely amazing. Our guests (175 people) had so much fun with the music selection and how Caleb seamlessly mixed different songs together. They did not want to stop dancing or for the night to be over. The bride's family was extremely happy that Caleb was able to incorporate "soca music" while interweaving it with today's top hits. Caleb truly can execute the vision you are wanting for your party. Generation Y Entertainment knows how to throw a classy yet fun wedding party. If you don't go with them, then you are truly missing out!

SO worth it!

I cannot recommend GYE highly enough. Caleb set ample time to speak with my husband and I to make sure we were all on the same page and that we were getting exactly what we wanted. He even created a mash-up of 3 songs that we were using for our first dance and sent it to me within 24 hours of my asking - and the quality was excellent! Our wedding day went off without a hitch, largely because of Caleb and Ariel's efforts.

Just Amazing

Generation Y, specifically Caleb, was everything we could hope for and more as a vendor for our wedding. I am type A and live for organization and Caleb and Charlee made everything so organized and seamless (from the Google doc you can fill out with all your specifics, songs, etc. to the appointment calendar for your pre-wedding/event phone call). Caleb was so great the day of the wedding keeping myself and Erik happy as well as making sure our guests were having a blast! Plus he suggested a really fun dinner game for guests to be able to play to be released for dinner. Could not say enough good things...just book them...you will not regret it!

On point!!

We loved Caleb and are very happy that we got to work with Generation Y for our wedding! Many of our guests complimented them and how "on-point" they were with the crowd. They got everyone out of their seats and dancing (obviously along with the help of the open bar). They also were really great with playing up our personalities and the little bit of silliness we were trying to add here and there. Caleb obviously takes a lot of pride in his company and will make sure that your wedding is great. It was easy to give them our trust and let them take the reigns. I would highly recommend GYE!

There was no doubt from our first interactions that we had found a DJ who could be serious and precise with every little detail to make sure the event flowed but was completely hilarious and the life of the party at our wedding! Seamless, professional, and worth the money

We were so glad we went with Generation Y Entertainment! Grayson and his assistant were the perfect addition to our wedding reception at The White Room in St. Augustine. They were a little bit more expensive than other local competitors, but it was apparent when working with them that you get what you pay for. They were responsive, knowledgeable about all questions we had related to the DJ/MC process, and were overall very professional throughout the entire experience. We would without a doubt recommend them to anyone planning their wedding!

Generation Y Entertainment (GYE) lives up to everything they promise!

They have an excellent team- we worked closest with Grayson. When it came to planning the day, they made it easy and personable by having a meeting over Skype/Facetime after we filled out a worksheet they sent with our music preferences. They gave us song recommendations for certain parts of the day when we couldn't think of one and had all the songs we wanted to hear as well. We had a brunch wedding and I was worried people wouldn't be up for dancing- that was no problem with Grayson DJ-ing! He kept the party going and worked with our venue and photographer to keep the day moving. Grayson and the GYE team are so friendly and fun (and not cheesy) and would be a great addition to any event!

GYE was amazing! They truly get a feel of what you are looking for and what your guests are enjoying. I received a lot of compliments on how fun my reception was, thanks to GYE! Best dj ever!

There was no doubt in our minds that Generation Y would be the best DJ for our wedding. Caleb absolutely killed it with the best music and entertainment. The whole planning process with Caleb was a perfect experience. We were able to fill out a sheet with songs we had to have and songs we didn't like so much. He gave us youtube links with examples for songs and the sheet also helped us plan out songs we didn't know we needed. We had facetime meetings and Caleb really helped us plan out the night and made sure everything would flow perfectly without pressuring us to do something a certain way. He also suggested fun things throughout the night such as hunger games, shoe game, garter relocated, and a last personal dance. Our wedding flowed so perfectly and everyone raved how awesome our DJ was. It was pretty chilly outside but everyone sure was warm from dancing so much! We could not have had a better experience! Thanks so much for a night to remember!

Last minute DJ saved the day!

Grayson did a great job saving the day for my sisters wedding! We met him last minute and he did an amazing job of getting everything coordinated so quickly. During the wedding he was so responsive to any changes my sister wanted to music and how excited people were on the dance floor. He did great with requests and what everyone wanted. I would recommend this DJ to anyone.
As Mother if the Bride, I can sincerely say Grayson is a responsive , respectful , wonderful DJ to guests of all ages and very easy to work with. I highly recommend him.

I knew from the beginning of the planning process that music was going to be a big part of me and my now husbands wedding day. I have been to plenty of weddings where the music was sub par at best...no one was on the dance and it was missing that element of fun and excitement. We really wanted a DJ that catered to our taste in music and understood the atmosphere we wanted to create for our guests. Charlee and Caleb Stoner were it!!! After doing some research and talking to my married girlfriends for recommendations I found Generation Y Entertainment. I was really impressed by their reviews and social media presence. After talking to them on the phone John and I booked them right away. Even though we actually never meant Charlee and Caleb until the day of the wedding (we spoke on the phone and had a facetime session to smooth out the final details and of course emails that they responded to quickly) ...it was like we had known them for years. They were a perfect team and really listened to what we wanted. Their services were top notch and no hidden fees or last minute charges...everything was included in one fee. They worked with our venue and wedding planner to make sure the day ran smoothly and were always checking in on us making sure we were happy and if we needed anything. I mean seriously they are the best and the nicest people you will ever meet! John and I were on the dance floor the whole night and our guests are still commenting on how great the music was at our wedding. Do yourself a favor and book Generation Y Entertainment now!

There’s plenty of reasons Generation Y is the top rated wedding entertainment company in the Jacksonville area. We saw many of them during our wedding ceremony and reception. They were super professional, arrived early, acted as MC to keep the ceremony going, fantastic sound came through their top line equipment. During our reception they flexed to our needs seemlessly and made the entire event go smoothly, therefore minimizing the stress on us. They built fantastic mash ups and playlists that kept our party lively without overdoing it. I looked at my watch expecting it to be about halfway through the reception and we only had 30 minutes left. My only complaint would be that it flew by too quickly. This is because Gen Y made our event so much fun! Grayson is a fantastic DJ and Caleb and Charlee are master planners. I would hire them again and would even pay more than we paid if I had to do it again. Highly recommend Generation Y for your wedding or other large event!

We are so happy we booked with Generation Y Entertainment for our wedding. Caleb and Charlee made sure that the night ran smoothly, and kept our crowd on the dance floor. They are extremely responsive to emails and go out of their way to do Face Time sessions to be sure everyone is on the same page before the event, always remaining very professional. We also made an extremely last minute change-up for the start of our wedding reception, and this was no problem at all. You will not be disappointed with GYE!

Every Jacksonville wedding needs Generation Y Entertainment. Far exceeded our expectations. Guests described the ceremony music as “giving them chills” and “angelic” and the reception music as having a “perfect playlist”. Charlee coordinates the day of with all of the vendors and creates a timeline of the reception. Caleb walks you through planning step by step with recommendations for songs if you get stuck.

We highly recommend Generation Y for the quality of their work, the value and service. The time and effort they put into getting to know their clients so they can truly customize their service is what makes them so special! They are extremely organized, professional and modern/fresh. We used Generation Y for our ceremony (music & mics), cocktail hour and reception – all sounded great and transition from one area to another was seamless. When it came to planning our wedding we were really unsure of what we wanted, not great at making decisions and terrible procrastinators but Caleb & Charlee made it as easy as possible. They were super patient & laid-back and gave great advice. The up-lighting they added to the reception area was beautiful and made such a difference. Caleb was an excellent MC that made the night lots of fun for everyone. What I valued the most was how easy and seemless they made the ceremony and reception. Caleb and Charlee gathered the information they needed and then just made it all happen. We didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding. Caleb did a perfect job checking-in throughout the night (always at the right time) and making sure things were going as we wanted – they always were.

Prior to our wedding, we attended other weddings with empty dance floors. We really wanted to make sure this didn’t happen and wanted for our family and friends to have a good time. Thanks to Charlee & Caleb – who suggested the perfect reception timeline and selected the right music to appeal to guests ranging in age from 5 – 90, we had a full dance floor the entire night. We had so much fun! We are very lucky to have stumbled across Generation Y!

Where to even begin with Caleb and Charlee. First of all, these two aren’t just your average wedding DJ. They are true entertainers and really know how to read the crowd! They planned with us for weeks in advance, to ensure our wedding entertainment was the epitome of our personalities. The dance floor wasn’t bare the ENTIRE night!! I'll start by saying that my husband and I were very concerned about finding a good DJ for our wedding. Too many wedding we attended were ruined by bad music and awkward MCs. We did a TON of research and when we came across Generation Y we were instantly impressed . Caleb and Charlee took the time to listen to our fears and immediately put us at ease. Before the wedding Caleb and Charlee spent HOURS with us discussing our vision for the ceremony and reception music. They recommended songs and took detailed notes on our wishes. They even reached out to our musicians and coordinated a time to do a sound check. On wedding day Caleb and Charlee were AMAZING and ran the show flawlessly. We did not have a wedding coordinator and Charlee directed the processional perfectly. I was so relieved to see her on my wedding day! Caleb fitted the groom and officiant with microphones so guests could hear everything despite an outdoor ceremony with lots of wind. I was so impressed with their equipment. During the wedding reception Generation Y was PHENOMINAL. Caleb and Charlee kept the wedding events flowing flawlessly and we had plenty of time to dance. Caleb was the BEST MC ever. The dance music was PERFECT and so much fun! The dance floor was constantly full! Guests did not want to stop dancing and everyone was so sad when the last song was announced (even though it was a Sunday wedding!). Generation Y was the best decision we made for our wedding. They were kind, professional, and dedicated to understanding our vision and delivering exactly that. They are experts in their field with the best technology in the industry. We could not believe how inexpensive they were for the quality and variety of services they offer! It was so nice to have everything included and not worry about extra fees. They are worth every penny. So many of our guests said it was “the best wedding ever” mainly because of Generation Y. Thank you so much Caleb and Charlee. We LOVE you guys!

If you are still looking for DJ, stop reading reviews and go book Generation Y Entertainment. Booking Caleb and Charlee for our wedding was easily the best decision I made (well besides marrying my husband). From the first time I emailed Charlee to the very last song, they were a dream to work with. They absolutely love what they do and it shows in every conversation and interaction. I was determined to find a wedding DJ that wasn't tacky and out of touch with current music - Caleb was exactly that and so much more. Aside from executing all of our music choices to perfection, he was a great MC and our guests loved him! He even came out on the dance floor and danced the Cha-Cha slide with us! Caleb and Charlee are an amazing team and work together flawlessly. WOW! Caleb and Charlee are out of this world! They provided us with an incredible experience during our wedding from beginning to end! We lived in Tampa when we first reached out to them and instead of driving across the state to visit them in Jacksonville, they FaceTimed us to introduce themselves. They asked so many questions about us and the friends and family who would be attending our wedding so they could get a better feel of how they would be setting up the music. Leading up to the wedding, we sent Caleb a song that we wanted to do for our first dance and he went out of his way to create a one of a kind mix to fit what we were looking for as our first dance song! On our wedding day, he set me and our officiant up with a mic to help project to our attendees. During that time, he talked and joked with me which helped ease my nerves a bit. The mic worked perfectly and did not have any problems at all during the ceremony. Our venue was a split floor plan with dinner being downstairs after the ceremony. They did an incredible job setting that up for music and our toasts. After that, we went back upstairs where we danced the rest of the night away. Caleb played a great selection of music throughout the night which everyone seemed to enjoy a lot! He even jumped down and threw out a few dance moves as well from what I saw! I can keep going on about how incredible our experience was but may run out of room! However, I will say when we looked through our guest book the next day, we were so happy to see their little note to us and how they wished us a happy future together! Little touches like that throughout the night sets them apart from the rest! I would recommend them to anyone looking for an incredible DJ!

GYE was one of our favorite vendors to work with for our wedding. Caleb and Charlee are so personable, and very good at what they do. We booked them after a Skype info session with them, and knew that they were going to be amazing after the call was over. Let me tell you, they exceeded our expectations for our wedding. They are so detail oriented, and let us pick any and all songs that we wanted played during the wedding. This was made even easier by having us fill out a Google Doc sheet with all this information, and we could edit it at any time. They are also so easy to get a hold of, and offered recommendations if we ever needed them. Caleb MC'd the wedding, and kept our guests engaged the whole time from cocktail hour until the sparkler exit. They also did our uplighting, and it looked so beautiful in our venue. GYE also offers their couples a "last dance" option where it's just the bride and groom alone dancing to one last song. I thought that was so special that they offered that, and my husband and I really enjoyed that part of the evening. We can't thank Caleb and Charlee enough for their excellent services and kindness throughout this process. They really made our wedding planning so easy, and were so great to work with. Thanks guys!

Charlee and Caleb are amazing! Planning the music and entertainment for our wedding with Generation Y was fun and easy. Living out of state, my husband and I were grateful for the opportunity to talk to them via skype. They were always friendly, professional and supportive of our ideas.

Then Hurricane Matthew arrived.

Days before the wedding, when so much was up in the air, Charlee and Caleb reached out to let us know they were thinking of us and that they would do everything they could to be at our wedding. It was so incredibly thoughtful and reassuring. It really meant a lot to us.

Plans A and B for our wedding fell through. More than half our guests were unable to make it. Our musicians for our ceremony could not make it in time to play for us. But Generation Y showed up that day and took care of the music and entertainment for the entire evening. They did an amazing job and my husband and I are so grateful. You should definitely hire them!

I could not say enough good things about Charlee and Caleb. My greatest fear in choosing vendors was getting an awkward DJ. I have witnessed a DJ put a damper on one too many weddings. Upon the recommendation of my wedding coordinator and another happy bride we went with GYE. From the first meeting with knew the would be awesome and they were! Caleb and Charlee were AMAZING at our wedding and throughout the whole process leading up to it! What stands out about them compared to any other DJ I have seen, is their interaction with the crowd and getting some of our older and more timid guests moving and having a great time - come rain, sun, or hot humid nights! We had 3 areas requiring a DJ/setup and they were able to accommodate everything from our beach wedding to outdoor cocktail hour to our indoor/outdoor reception. Not only did they keep the party going all night, but they allowed my husband and I to have a last song to ourselves without anyone around, while they kept everyone entertained outside for our exit. Their cooperation and responsiveness was greatly appreciated and recognized along with their creativity and guidance throughout the process to help me pull off some unique songs/mixes for our special day! If you're budget conscious like us, and trying to figure out where to splurge and where not to, this is it! No body will remember all of the little stuff, but they will remember having a good time!

The dream team, dynamic duo Charlee and Caleb is all that you need and could ever ask for in terms of your wedding entertainment. Music was my biggest concern as I come from a large Latin family and my husband is Jewish. How could we make sure to satisfy both groups of guests? Charlee and Caleb made it happen that's how! So thankful for their professionalism, attentiveness, flexibility, and understanding. They knew what we wanted from the beginning and delivered on our wedding day. These two are the real deal. Not a large DJ company with a ton of DJs, never knowing what you're going to get. They care about you as a bride and groom and the quality of service is beyond what could be imagined. Thank you to you both for a magical evening!

From the first meeting, Charlee and Caleb were professional, respectful, prepared and definitely awesome to be around! They carried through with everything they said and more! What a great team! Charlee and Caleb were so wonderful to work with!! We are so thankful we trusted them with the most important part of our reception; the entertainment! Everyone raved about how much fun they were and how they always kept guests informed of what was going on. They also had some GREAT ideas about things that I never would have thought of. They were so helpful in putting together our timeline for the evening and filling in detail gaps I never would have thought about. They are professionals and experts at what they do but are also extremely likeable and personable people. I am so thankful we went with them for our big day!

Lindsey and I want to thank you so much for being part of our special day. Everything was amazing. You kept the party upbeat and were quick to help us with any questions we had along the way. We really appreciated how flexible you were in meeting with us. Really felt like we were getting together with friends. While the music and personality was incredible, the up lighting you threw in for us completely blew us away. It looked like it had been matched with our color schemes from the very beginning. The equipment was professional, streamlined, and didn't look like a "zip tied" jungle. It was "high speed and low drag" to use a military term. Thank you both so much again for all your hard work.

I wish I could give Caleb and Charlee a higher rating. They absolutely rocked our wedding! The dance floor was packed the whole time. I think my three year old nephew is still dancing. Lol.

Their expertise goes well beyond just what music to play to keep people dancing. The flow of everything was exactly what we hoped for, and Caleb and Charlee dictated that. They really got a feel for who we are as a couple and the experience reflected that.

We used numerous ideas that they suggested to us, and I'm so glad we did. Things that we never would have thought of, worked so well to not only get the party going, but also to help my bride and I really take everything in.

One of the first things that Caleb told us over Skype (we couldn't meet in person because of my schedule) was that they strive to be the anti cornball DJ. I couldn't say it better myself. There was zero cornball factor.

With Generation Y, you get much more than a DJ service. Charlee really helped run the show and worked seamlessly with our venue's staff. They also provided uplighting which made the venue look great. Things like this are why it's worth spending a little extra money on Gen Y. Our pictures will look great, not just because everyone in them was dancing and having a blast, but because the uplighting made the venue look great.

I can't say enough good things about this wonderful couple. They work great together and really made our idea of our reception come to fruition.

Finding a DJ that I felt comfortable with was very important to me because they run the show and set the tone for the reception. From the moment I first spoke with Caleb and Charlee I knew they would be perfect. They worked together and ensured everything ran flawlessly from start to finish. They took the time to get to know my husband and I to figure out our personalities and what kind of music we like. They gave us tons of song recommendations and helped to make sure we picked music that fit our personalities, even if it took a while for some song choices. We never once had to tell them to change the song or do anything different because they kept everyone happy and on the dance floor the entire night! They are a young newlywed couple, so they have recently been through this process themselves. They work together as such a great team, and offered extremely reasonable pricing for the services they provided. I HIGHLY recommend them and am so grateful I found them for my big day!

Caleb and Charlee are absolute rockstars. They worked with us throughout the year to help us plan the evening and when the big night came around... we did not have to worry about a hing-they were on it. We were absolutely thrilled with the evening GYE Entertainment put on for us during our wedding night!

When we began planning our wedding, we were challenged in working remotely with our vendors. Living in New York City, we were very limited in the meeting and concept time with our vendors in Florida. Caleb and Charlee immediately understood our vision for the event. From their openness to try new things to their excellent track record – they gave us confidence in selecting them as our wedding DJ’s.

During the planning stages, their talent became apparent when they were able to customize a set list to our own personal style. They worked around our busy work schedules, and were available for Skype calls to come up with new, innovative ideas to enhance our vision.

During the wedding dinner and reception, Caleb and Charlee read the crowd wonderfully, enhancing the event to create a truly memorable night. They handled our on-the-fly music requests, while very respectfully balancing the craziness that is our friends and family!

Between the couple’s true passion to personalize our dinner and reception, their excellent communication throughout the planning process, and their overall ability to elevate the evening with tasteful crowd interactions, we are so glad we chose GYE Entertainment as our wedding DJ’s.

I write to recommend, without hesitation, the husband and wife team of Generation Y Entertainment. If you are in the market for a contemporary, non-cheesy, interactive, and professional wedding or event DJ, GYE will deliver the goods at a very reasonable price. I am a total audiophile and a snob when it comes to music, so my wife left the task of finding an acceptable wedding entertainment team to me. I wanted someone with a very open mind when it came to music selections (ours were not outrageous, just different and probably more “off the grid” than your standard wedding music fare). I also wanted a DJ with very good equipment, the ear to tune it to the room, and the know-how to get it set up in a discreet fashion. I went to meet with Caleb so we could discuss our collective vision for the wedding. He showed me his equipment set-up (which is no joke), we discussed different artists and styles and song choices, and then we just kicked back and listened to tunes for a while. After that, I hired him on the spot. Caleb and Charlee also provide incredible MC services. Both were professionally dressed, spoke eloquently and with comedy that hit the mark, arrived well ahead of schedule, and made suggestions that my wife and I both loved for different ways of getting the tables through the buffet line, breaking up the night/scheduling of the reception events (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc), and concluding with a private “last dance” that we will never forget (which included Caleb and Charlee personally and politely escorting everyone including the caterers outside so that we could have that moment to ourselves). The music choices were also on-point. They know how to get the party going, feel out the crowd, and keep up the pace with the room. Great variety, incredible sound quality, and no technical hiccups whatsoever. Caleb and Charlee just “get it” when it comes to working with a couple. Highly recommend these professionals.

Where do I begin with these two?! They went above and beyond anything we would have imagined. After multiple meetings, they managed to listen to every last thing we said to make our night perfect. We had the pleasure of working with Charlee and Caleb earlier this month. We hired them for our wedding and we were very pleased with everything! Charlee and Caleb met with us a few times to go over everything that we expected and wanted for our wedding and they delivered. For our wedding we did not use a wedding planner, but the both of them helped us keep everything going as planned. When it was time to dance they helped us learn the moves that we didn't know and it got people dancing. Jason, myself and Chloe want to thank you for an amazing day!!

We can't say enough about Caleb & Charlee! Their level of expertise and professionalism was matched only by their approachability and friendliness. We didn't realize the pivotal part played by the DJ in a wedding until talking with Caleb and Charlee. They made it possible to bring the perfect ambience to our venue. Caleb and Charlee absolutely exceeded every expectation we had and rocked our wedding so hard. To say my husband and I have opposite tastes in music would be an understatement, and they managed to make us both so happy with their selections. They took the time to meet with us, via Skype since we're in different states, and get to know us and what we'd like. Besides being very detail oriented, they're both prompt, professional and a lot of fun! You're missing out if you don't book them!

These two are so passionate about what they do. We really enjoyed getting to know them and working with them. They personalized everything and came up with some amazing ideas to fit our personalities. The uplighting was gorgeous!! They took care of every little detail in the schedule and made quick decisions to keep the wedding heading in the right direction. We were so much less stressed having them with us. looking for a DJ? then look no further!!

had the pleasure of working with Caleb and Charlee for our wedding. the whole process of finding people for our wedding was freaking us out since we were planning our wedding from california. after searching around i kept finding myself coming back to GYE. finally contacted them and did a skype meeting with them, automatically my fiance and I felt right at ease with them. they're only mission was to make sure our day went just the way we wanted. another worry we had was communicating back and forth since we had a 3 hr time difference and very busy daily schedules, NOT AT ALL they were more than willing to work around our schedules and set up times that worked for us(EVEN EMAILING BACK AND FORTH AT MIDNIGHT).

we finally met caleb and charlee the day of our wedding, they had already been working closely with our day of coordinator and everything went off without a hitch! there music selections were on point and perfectly timed for everything.

this was an absolute pleasure working with this couple and if ever you need a DJ for your event this is your Couple!!

Stop looking for your event DJ right now. Chances are you have other items to check off your list and let's face it, Generation Y Entertainment is the best there is - so make it easy for yourself. From the beginning, Caleb and Charlee were very easy to do business with. Caleb has deep rooted knowledge into the technology and industry that are critical in ensuring your guests are dancing and having a good time. Where do I even begin!?! Generation Y Entertainment was hands down the reason for the success of our wedding! Caleb and Charlee are the sweetest most caring couple and know exactly how to personalize your event to bring out the best in all of your guests, no matter the range in ages. From the very beginning I had full confidence in their abilities as they were extremely responsive to both emails and text messages, they always thought of things before I got around to worrying about them, and had them taken care of the second they came up. I loved that GYE provided military discount but also proved to be the most affordable option with EVERYTHING I wanted included. For less than their competitors, they provided excellent DJ/Emcee services, reception lighting, personal touches such as the song mashup for my dance with the bridesmaids, and truly became our friends through the process. As my husband and I drove off from our venue on the night of the wedding, our entire 30 minutes drive was spent discussing how amazing Caleb and Charlee were and how grateful we were to have found them and hired them for our wedding. We are from New Jersey and had our wedding in Florida. Caleb and Charlee of Gen Y Entertainment were a pleasure to have perform at our wedding! They worked with us in advance via phone and Skype to plan out our timeline of events. They were extremely accomodating and we even had a chance to meet in person a few months beforehand. Caleb is a true entertainer, and had our guests up and dancing the entire reception. I don't think I've ever seen a soul train last so long! At one point, Caleb even came out to motivate a few tables to join us on the dance floor. Our guests enjoyed watching the shoe game, and thought it was a highlight of the afternoon. There were no hiccups, and Caleb and Charlee went truly out of their way to make our reception special. I would highly recommend them to any future brides and grooms.

I can't even fully express how amazing Charlee and Caleb are as a business duo! Generation Y Entertainment truly went above and beyond to make my wedding spectacular and completely blew away my expectations! My husband and I are SO happy that we chose Generation Y Entertainment for our wedding entertainment. They (husband and wife team) were completely professional and also got to know us on a personal level so that they could truly represent us at our special occasion. Because we were having a destination wedding in Jekyll Island, GA and live in Atlanta, we weren't able to meet with them face to face until the day of the wedding, but they encouraged Skype/Facetime calls several times beforehand to introduce ourselves and discuss our vision for music and entertainment.

They went above and beyond! We had a small wedding (50 guests) and had some oddball song requests, and they didn't miss a beat, literally! They played well off the crowd and kept everyone dancing and singing. My family also loved that the DJs handed out microphones so we could do a karaoke of sorts!

Everyone had a blast, and we couldn't be happier with their services. We are so thankful to them for helping provide the music at our ceremony and at the reception. Charlee even offered to put together an itinerary for the wedding day; like I said, they went above and beyond.

We highly recommend Generation Y Entertainment and would use them again if we ever have an occasion to do so.

It's hard to capture in words the magnitude Charlee and Caleb had on our wedding. I strongly believe your entertainment can make or break a wedding, and because of them our wedding was perfect. They worked with us for months before the wedding planning every detail. I used their services for the ceremony as well as the reception and everything went so smoothly. They kept everything on time as well as fun and energetic! Our friends and family are still talking about how fun our wedding was. The biggest compliment was when the reception venue coordinator called to tell us how impressed she was with the Entertainment! The best decision I made for the wedding (besides the groom) was hiring Generation Y Entertainment! I highly recommend!

Where do I start? Caleb and Charlee are two amazing people and anyone who uses their services will be blown away with the dedication and quality they receive from these two. My wedding was planned in a 6 week timeframe and I was limited on time and cash. They were able to work me into their schedule and they made sure I stayed within my budget, which was very important. They took the time to listen to my vision for that night, and although some of my ideas were not recommended by them :) , they gave me the freedom to have it as I wanted and they delivered everything I asked for plus some. They kept the crowd entertained with fun games during the cocktail hour and when the reception began they did an awesome job engaging with everyone and keeping people on the dance floor. Days after my wedding I was receiving calls from family members raving about the DJ we had because they really did that great of a job! For any future events I plan, this will definitely be my DJ of choice!!!

Caleb and Charlee are great! Awesome couple, very humble, very professional, and a wonderful team to have on my wedding night as DJ! The music and lights were so much fun the whole night...very entertaining! The wedding guests were so impressed by Generation Y Entertainment as our DJ and said Caleb was so engaging the entire time...he served as not only our DJ, but basically the entire wedding coordinator and kept the wedding flowing from event to event (from cocktail hour events and entertainment, to food being served, all the way til the last dance). We are so grateful because he kept the wedding lively, entertaining, fun, and full of laughs. All of our guests said the DJ was amazing and did not leave any dull moments or long delays at any point! Caleb is a great judge of how the crowd is feeling and truly knows how to keep it moving and keep the energy levels up! Such a fun, professional, humble, and awesome couple. I would recommend to anyone of all ages.
