  Amazing during covid!!

  Nick was hands down the BEST vendor we had! We booked Gene Davis and sons over two years before our wedding date. Yes, I was THAT bride! Nick was so laid back and easy going and did not make me feel like a complete lunatic ! We changed our wedding from their location to an outdoor location and everything was so easy to change with them. The food was amazing (the pierogis - omg get them!), and the drinks were flowing! I honestly cannot say enough good things. Nick was in contact with all the mandates due to covid and was even attempting to find us a new location that could accommodate our guest list. He answered every email I sent professionally and efficiently. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to see Nick as one of the bartenders at our wedding. He was absolutely wonderful. I’m so grateful he was so patient and kind with me. He really made all the hoops we had to jump through not seem so daunting! We will be singing his praises to anyone who will listen. Gene Davis has a top notch employee right there!

  We had our wedding reception at Gene Davis Banquet Hall and they catered it as well. We were so happy with our choice. Nick was super friendly, his communication was great, and he was so helpful. He welcomed any questions that we had throughout the entire process. We had SO many compliments from our guests that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding reception before. We were very impressed with the prices and how everything turned out. We were even able to decorate the night before the wedding which saved me from a lot of stress. I would recommend them to anyone!!

  The food is well worth 5 stars, but the other things that happened that night make me rate it 3 stars. Our dance floor was falling apart when we were dancing. Chunks of the floor were actually falling out. Another reception was at the same time as ours, with alcohol being served you pay for security. Well security wasn't stopping drunk guests from coming out of the other reception into our. Drunk people with selfie sticks saying how much "better" the other one is. If it was so much better they wouldn't have tried to keep coming over to ours. Then the cleaning crew threw away a large portion of our wedding cake. Disappointing because one it was expensive, two we had planned to take it on our honeymoon.
