    Beautiful venue, incredible service

The entire hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The venues are beautiful and require little to no additional decoration. The staff is outstanding. Celebrity services and our event manager was always just a phone call away and immediately took care of any issue that arose and anything else we needed for our entire stay, no matter how big or small. They made us feel so special and made everything so seamless. We would absolutely recommend this venue. It costs a little more, but the services they provide and the way they make you feel is absolutely worth it.

    Great service, beautiful hair!

This is my regular salon here in Nashville, so when we decided to host our wedding at Opryland Resort, the salon was an easy pick. My hair looked amazing, and they got us in and out in an hour! (Free mimosas are always a plus!!)

The team at Opryland was amazing to work with. Masel and Nelson were great! They also have a company 'Sweetwater' that did the set up and take down which was awesome! It was a destination wedding so everything was done via email/phone. They went above and beyond making sure I was happy with everything. And it's a breathtaking venue!! :)

The wedding planning staff were incredibly helpful, especially given that we were planning our wedding from several states away and moved twice over the course of our engagement. The Celebrity Services (private concierge) staff were also amazing, providing everything we asked for (including "emergency" cranberry juice for the flower girl) with little or no notice.

I planned the wedding of my brother and sister-in-law. They turned everything over to me and just asked that I make their day beautiful. The staff at Opryland Hotel made the process so easy. Attention was paid to every detail of the event. The bride and groom were beyond happy with the results and we were all able to just relax and enjoy the special day.

My husband and I just got married on July 14, 2014. It was positively a dream come true! Maureen and Valerie were always available for any questions I had leading up to the wedding, and they quickly responded. We got married at the Lion's Head Fountain within the Garden Conservatory. It was perfect for our small ceremony. (We only had 12 guests). Maureen suggested that we have our reception at Ravello, and it was AMAZING! Everyone at our reception was talking about how excellent the food and service was. They had even closed the restaurant for us so that we were the only focus. They created personalized wedding menus that we got to keep.
Maureen also made sure that we had a suite so that I could get ready on one side and the guys could get ready on the other side. We were VIP guests the whole time we stayed, and they treated us like royalty. I would recommend Opryland to anyone who is getting married. It's a perfect venue if you want the feeling of an indoor/outdoor wedding. :) Absolutely incredible!

Planning a wedding is always a little hectic, however, Maureen and her crew did a wonderful job. The events were top notch! Maureen was a trouble shooter, it seems nothing was too much to ask of her. My hats off! Our guests are still talking about what a fabulous time they had!

We were very impressed with the final outcome of our experience with the Gaylord Opyland Resort. In the beginning we had a problem, but once we reported it, they immediately worked towards resolving it, and they did. They far exceeded our expectations in the end and I would highly recommend them, as my "dream wedding" was awesome and everyone was so pleased with the overall treatment they received while at the Resort.

Gaylord Springs was wonderful! We had a ceremony and reception combined and everything was great from the food to the florist! Our wedding was perfect and they provide a "day of" planner...she was great too! They have nice areas for photo opportunities and were very easy to communcate with.

My wedding and reception was just beautiful... the magnolia ballroom is really the ideal reception site - mirrors on walls reflecting candlelight, pastel colors, good size for 100 - 150 guests. Ceremonies at the hotel do have 'onlookers' because of the nature of the hotel, but this didn't bother me at all. I didn't have to worry about anything... the details were all taken care of before my big day thanks to the meticulous planning of the wedding coordinator at Opryland. THe wait staff at the reception was GREAT - extremely attentive. 2 complaints would be - Just prior to the ceremony things were a little confusing - I was told to 'hide', and then my wedding planner couldn't find me! A little more direction/communication would have been good.... also, the main dinner buffet had 'dessert' plates, and the cake table had 'dinner' plates. Oh well - everything else was perfect!

    Fantastic wedding experience

Our wedding was an absolutely dream! We couldn’t have done it without the help of Taylor Evon. She was so easy to work with and helped keep everything organized from start to finish of planning our event. Yes, Opryland is pricey. However, everyone was so professional and made our day easy enough that it was worth it! We still stayed on par with the average cost of a wedding, maybe just a little bit more. I would highly recommend the resort for a wedding. Having everything in one location made things so easy, and the hotel is absolutely beautiful which makes for great photos! You won’t have do a lot of extra decorating.

Expensive, but you absolutely get what you pay for

Getting married at Opryland has been a lofty dream of mine ever since seeing the Crystal Gazebo set up for a reception a few years ago. I didn't think it was a realistic option when my now-husband proposed, but some friends encouraged me to inquire anyways. The food and beverage minimum for a reception (15k) was way too much for our modest wedding size and budget, but the venue rates for a ceremony by itself were far more feasible (5k for our particular venue, time and date after the taxes and fees), so we opted to do the ceremony here and the reception at the sister hotel across the street. I couldn't be happier with that decision!
The Crystal Gazebo in the Garden Conservatory wing was absolutely gorgeous with barely any decor, the venue provided the AV team (who graciously put up with my detailed instructions and mid-ceremony cues), and we were even able to arrange below-market shuttle transportation between the venues in-house, but more importantly our venue coordinator Celisse Shute was an absolute MVP! She was brand new to the property when we began to plan together but you'd never guess it. Every step of the way she went above and beyond to answer my questions, oversee details as minute as what time the streetlamps would turn on, and responded to every single one of my 10,000 emails with grace and promptness. Planning with her was both fun and reassuring.
When it came down to the week of the wedding Celisse became an actual superhero: my MoH had a seizure while we were walking together in the parking lot on the way to the rehearsal, and when I called Celisse in a panic she sent over security to help us while she called an ambulance from the nearest hospital (just 5 minutes up the road). She arranged things with my now-husband and Day-Of Coordinator to keep the rehearsal running smoothly in our absence, and then joined me waiting for the ambulance. I could not be more grateful for her help that day.
When it came to the wedding (which fell at the same time as a major convention) the resort provided a ton of signs and staff to ensure there were no disruptions to the ceremony (we did have onlookers on the catwalk above, but they were all very polite and quiet!) After our reception that evening, my husband(!!!) and I came back to the Gaylord for a complimentary night's stay with champagne and a serene nighttime view of the Cascades atrium. To top it all off, I found out afterwards that actual MVP Celisse also took a million stealthy pics of the ceremony and our couple shoot afterwards, so I now have a ton of adorable candids (3 attached) to hold me over while I wait for the professional photos to come back!

Everything about our night was perfect! The event coordinator was amazing and wanted to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it! What I loved the most about having it at the golf course - was it was only us! We had the whole upstairs to ourselves so we didn't have to run into other people! It is beautiful!

We had a great wedding at the Bridal Path Wedding Chapel. The chapel was beautiful and the staff was very organized and professional. We used our own minister, but their minister conducted the rehearsal and he was very nice. We also used their videographer, he did a great job as well.

The Gaylord Springs golf course provided the perfect background for our outside wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous as it was blooming in spring, and it made for beautiful pictures! We had our reception inside and everything was highest quality. I heard many comments about how wonderful the food tasted, and we got "to go" boxes to take with us to our room that night. The only negative about the Gaylord is that it is pricey, and since you are buying all beverages and food through them, they have you cornered on the price of items (e.g. $50 for a gallon of coffee or tea). But overall, I was extremely happy with the venue and food/drinks.

The venue was perfect especially considering we had family flying in from across the world and dates weren't flexible. A wedding in July but yet with the feel of being surrounded by nature is a tall order and this venue made it not only possible but magical too! The fee is relatively high, but you do get sound and wedding coordinator assistance included. This saved me much heart ache and stress. So budget for it, it is well worth it! I could concentrate on enjoying the day. I love the fact that we had free reign of taking photographs anywhere at the Resort, so we had an adventure with our photographer with varying scenery. I highly recommend this place! All my guests marveled at its beauty. The people I had to communicate with at the resort were warm and welcoming, professional and accommodating. They have become a lovely part of our wedding day memory too!
