Just had my son's wedding here yesterday. The ceremony site was beyond beautiful. The biggest thing I can say is that Karman and her staff were amazing, Very professional, organized, easy to work with. We could not have pulled it off without them.

My wife and I got married here yesterday. Karman and Kim and the other staff at the Gauntlet were a dream. I could not imagine better people to help us out on our wedding day. Even when things didn't go to plan, they were so good at easing our nerves and making us feel better. I could not recommend the Gauntlet more, and no words can describe just how amazing the crew is. Whatever credit Karman gets, it's still not enough. We will always look back on our day with the utmost amount of fondness and a lot of that is because of the care we received. If I could leave more than 5 stars, I absolutely would.

My wife and I just had our wedding reception at the Gauntlet Golf Club and it turned out great! Kayla, Jessica & and her staff did an excellent job during the planning process and the during our reception! Food and drinks were great and our family and friends had a very fun time. Thanks again to the Gauntlet staff for making our wedding day special! Would recommend this venue for weddings or any other events.

We had our wedding here on April 8th, and it was amazing!!! I want to say a big thank you to Kayla because she went above and beyond for us. She made everything so easy from the very beginning, and I never had to worry about anything for the venue. The food was great, the staff was great, and I never felt like an inconvenience. I cannot thank Kayla and the staff enough for everything that they did to make our day so special.

Our first date was by the water & we were engaged in Hawaii, so we wanted to get married by the water as well. We wanted a small, sweet & simple ceremony with our very closest family & friends & were shocked at the prices of other vendors just to have the ceremony. So, we were especially happy to have met Mike Byrd from the Gauntlet. He offered a wedding on a tee by the water & golf carts & attendants to get our guests to the site. The night was gorgeous & so peaceful geese flew by & deer came near! We decorated the wedding site, two tables going into the reception & the tables inside. We paid for table linens, chair covers & bows, wine, beer, dinner for 60 people & it cost about the same as the lowest price of any other vendor just to have the ceremony! Dinner was absolutely delicious. The staff was not only professional & friendly, but genuinely happy for us & celebrated with us at our 4 hour long reception. Thanks, in part, to old & new friends at the Gauntlet, our wedding was one of the happiest days of our lives!

First of all, I want to thank the Gauntlet Golf Club, especially the most amazing Manager Byrd and his team. Mr. Byrd helped us survive the stressful times. He made sure that our event was special. He went extra miles just to make sure we had what we needed right from the start. I had an impression that signing the event contract was not just a simple piece of payment arrangement. It was a contract of new friendship and service. Our wedding day was very frustrating. We were supposed to have an outside wedding. We had everything planned and rehearsed. However, the weather did not cooperate on our wedding day. It rained and rained like heck. I was frustrated, stressed, and teary. Luckily, with the Gauntlet Golf Club’s support led by Mr. Byrd we survived with flying colors at the end of the dark tunnel. They had the venue ready in order for us to have the ceremony indoors. Please share my deepest gratitude to Mr. Byrd and the rest of the staff during our event. They were fantastic. They went above and beyond supportive. They helped us make it through and helped us enjoy what could have been a disaster. After all, wedding is just the beginning of a wonderful years of marriage.

The Gauntlet was a perfect choice for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and wedding reception. The course made for great photo ops and the reception room worked perfect for our party. The food is to die for and the whole package is a great value. They had all the right answers to the numerous questions that we had and made us feel very confident in their ability to make this a seemless process. Thank you, Gauntlet Golf Club!

The Gauntlet Golf Club was an excellent choice for my wedding ceremony and reception. It was very affordable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Virginia (Ginne) did a great job and was pleasant to work with. All of my guests commented on how nice the facility was decorated and how good the food was. I would definitely recommend this venue to celebrate any special event.

I was thoroughly pleased with the Gauntlet Golf Club as a venue-- their personnel is friendly, quick to respond, and very accommodating. In addition, the facilities are beautiful and easy to dress up for the ceremony and reception. The food was also delicious-- all of our guests were telling us how yummy the meal was. I was completely satisfied with every aspect of the Gauntlet as a venue-- I would recommend the facilities to anyone looking for a pretty venue for their wedding.

I loved working with the Gauntlet, they had a shoecase event that was fun and helpful. I loved all the linens they provided. The staff was very friendly and Ginny is great to work with. The prices were very affordable and we got so many compliments on how delicious the food was, we were even able to tell the chef that we wanted the food seasoned more than it was at the showcase. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is that the banquet room should be expanded to widen it to allow for more room for tables. If you are looking for a beautiful and affordable place to have your reception I would recommed The Gauntlet!

Ginnie was very easy to work with, very knowledgeable about the venue, and very quick to respond to any questions I had. She worked with us on the layout and was flexible in adapting to last minute changes. The space, patio, and banquet dinner were all exactly what we wanted! I would recommend the Gauntlet Golf Club to anyone for a wedding reception!

The Gauntlet was a beautiful and affordable place to hold our wedding reception. There are lots of great spots for beautiful pictures, the food was great, and the staff was excellent. Ginne, who supervised all the reception details for our wedding, was very sweet and always quick to respond to my many emails full of questions. I loved The Gauntlet and wouldn't change a thing!

Our reception at The Gauntlet was truly great. Virginia Giles, the event coordinator there, went out of her way to respond to phone calls and emails and answer tons of questions that we had. They worked with us to get navy blue linens for our tables and didn't charge us extra for them. We were able to come in the day before the wedding at 7 AM to decorate, and the tables were already done up with linens and napkins, and it was painless. Even the head chef, Rodney, came out to introduce himself to me and my bridesmaids and my mom who was helping decorate. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful and we truly appreciate it. On top of that, we were able to have 120 guests and have a delicious dinner and beer and wine for our guests and we didn't over-extend ourselves on our budget. Without a doubt, The Gauntlet was the best vendor decision we made.

My wedding was amazing. The staff at the Gauntlet was wonderful. They were very helpful and just a pleasure to work with. The food was wonderful. All of my guest had a great time and I really think that it had a lot to do with how great the Gauntlet's staff was.

We recieved wonderful service, Giny and the ladies who worked at our reception were wonderful. The food was delicious, the room was beautiful and the guests had a great time. Everything better than I had imagined it should be.

My wedding couldn't have been better. Ginnie was fabulous from beginning to end. We were very pleased with our decision to use the Gauntlet for our ceremony and reception. I highly recommend it.

Highly recommend Gauntlet for wedding/reception, for the 5 above reasons.. Quality of Service, responsiveness, professionalism, value and they were flexible and willing to work to provide us exactly the wedding we desired. The bride has stated she got her perfect wedding.

Had a great time at the Gauntlet celebrating a friend's retirement...was able to decorate the room as we wished, the food was delicious, and the wait staff were extremely helpful and friendly ~ would definitely eat there again!

Everything went really well. We were very happy with how it all turned out. The food was great and everything was done to our specifications.

The food was wonderful especially for the price. They had a cheaper price for children that were attending my wedding. The reception looked beautiful and they had everything set up just the way I wanted it. They were nice, helpful and didn't hide anything in their efforts to obtain my business. I would definitely recommend the Gauntlet to other brides.

I held my wedding of about 80 people at the Gauntlet for my February 8, 2014 wedding. It was so wonderful and I had such a great wedding. I owe it all to the Gauntlet and Tiffany-rae for making my wedding so beautiful. It looked amazing, and even though we had to bring the wedding inside at the last minute, they made it look wonderful.

The only disappointment I had was the quality of some of the food. When I went to the openhouse, the coconut shrimp was out of this world. What we got on our wedding day was not even remotely close. Some of the wings were burnt and overcooked. I expected the same quality and was disappointed.

The staff was awesome and helpful. The day was wonderful and I would continue to recommend the Gauntlet to my friends. Also, I think a dsiscount or a free item should be given when a friend books a party by referral. The Chriastiansens have booked their daughters wedding becuase of my recommendation. Just a thought.

We were so pleased with how everything turned out. The entire staff was helpful and Ginny the wedding coordinator was more than wonderful. Ginny helped me with every question and concern I had which helped make planning the wedding so much easier. I would definitely recommend any bride to check out the Gauntlet Golf Club because it is a beautiful venue, coast efficient, and easy to work with.

Overall we were happy with our wedding at the Gauntlet.

It really was cheaper than any other venue in the area if you compare what you are getting for your money.

We had a few issues such as the bar closing early, and vegetarian dishes not being provided as asked but in the grand scheme of things nothing major.

I will say that they did make up for their mistakes and refunded me some money for the mistakes.

Service from the bar staff and banquet crew was great!

Ginnie was wonderful to work with. She was quick to answering all the e-mails I sent her with all my concerns and questions. When we met the couple of times to discuss colors, and the other details she was amazing. She really took the time to sit down and help me figure out what to do next. The thing that really upset me though was the rehearsal, and then the day of the wedding. She didn't really step up to tell us who was to go at this point and that point. She just wrote down on a piece of paper the order. Then the day of the wedding I wish she would have been more involved like letting us know that we had 10 more minutes before showtime or what have you. Well we ended up starting late, which that then put us behind in our pictures, then we were told to hurry up and finish our pictures so we could go in and eat. But she was still wonderful, and a sweet person. We as the bride and groom along with our guests were completely happy with our food. It was amazing. The seafood alfredo was a hit! Everything was going fine until after we cut the cake and the staff came running up to me and my husband every 5 minutes asking us if we had a box to put the cake in...I mean come on..do they seriously think I brought a box to put my cake in?
