Impressive Ceremony
I feel Jim does not charge enough for what he provides. He gave us a wonderful private ceremony in Cades Cove. He was very responsive and handled everything. I really loved the prayer. We could not be any happier. I’ve been to many weddings and I’m proud to say the best one I’ve ever attended was our own. Jim is a genuine man that cares.

Pastor Eastin officiated our wedding at an Airbnb cabin in Pigeon Forge. Communication with him was always prompt. He responded to all of our questions. On the wedding day he brought his photography equipment and took excellent photos during and after the wedding. He was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable. He never made us feel rushed and he took the time to take all of our pictures. He gave us excellent advice for our marriage, and he was very genuine about it!
He had our pics ready super-fast, he gave us a CD, which I turned into a flash drive at Walgreens. Pastor Eastin made our wedding a very special moment. 200% recommend for your special day.

Jim was a perfect fit for us and something about him just made me feel so relaxed. I knew I just wanted something short and sweet. It indeed was but without leaving the good stuff out. Exceptional, thoughtful service
Pastor Jim was considerate and responsive when we booked him to officiate our ceremony. A week before when we re-confirmed the appointment he recommended we contact the venue as he had been there recently and the road was closed. Despite the Park Service’s hard work we learned later in the week we needed to find another wedding location. Pastor Jim readily agreed to marry us at a different location and was flexible with his time that Saturday.
Upon arrival, he was well dressed, easy going and wonderfully prepared. He spoke eloquently and beautifully during the ceremony and we felt fortunate and blessed he solemnly presided over our wedding. His graciousness and easy manner helped allay nerves and he was personable, engaging and interactive. It was a joy to meet Pastor Jim and we wouldn’t change a thing about the wonderful service he constructed and presented for us. Thank you very much.

A wonderful experience.

Even though Jim did not know us personally, he made the space and the ceremony feel very intimate and genuine. We had about 60 guests and everyone thought Jim was one of the best officiants they have witnessed. We couldn't have asked for a better ceremony. Thank you, Jim!

Greatest Wedding Ever!!
We recently got married at Titanic Pigeon Forge. Pastor Jim was our amazing “Captain” who guided us through the seas of marriage. We loved how he threw nautical references into his words during our ceremony on the grand staircase to make it feel as if we were really on board the luxury ship. We also loved that our ceremony included a scripture reading as my husband’s grandmother who passed recently was worried about this not being included being married at a venue outside of church. He really put a lot of care and effort into making our special day memorable. He also really cares about the couples he marries and takes time to email his 10 keys to a better marriage and his phone number just in case. We love how thorough he is in the list and already it has tremendously helped in the beginning of our marriage. We would just like to send a huge thank you!!

Wouldn’t have wanted it any other way
This was literally the perfect wedding! It was small and the day all together was completely stress free. We had a beautiful view and we’re able to record the whole thing on our iPhones and got some amazing pictures. Jim was very kind and accommodating and even came and married us at our Airbnb! He made it very easy and the ceremony was more than we ever imagined. He asked us only a few questions and made it very personable and made it fit our personalities very well. He even followed it up with an email on tips for a long-lasting marriage! I would recommend having Jim do your wedding to any and everybody! We cannot thank him enough for everything and hope to see him in 10 years!

Travel Changes
We had planned to marry in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee in August 2022. Due to time and monetary restrictions, we decided to change our plans and marry in our home state of Virginia.
I wish that Jim could travel here to perform our ceremony! We hired him in the fall of 2021 for our date, and have had nothing but a positive experience. He explained every bit the process of our planned elopement ceremony and put us so at ease.
Even in requesting cancellation, he was quick to respond, understanding and more than congratulatory on our upcoming ceremony.
I’d hire Jim again in a heartbeat. He’s made every step of the process professional and caring!

We had no idea what to expect when working on planning a wedding with someone that lives 7 hours away from you and that you have never met before but pastor Jim was the absolute best!! He made sure we had everything we needed to make our day as perfect as could be!! Everyone in our family bragged on him all afternoon after the wedding and kept asking us where we found him!! He didn’t know us from Adam but treated us like he’s known us our whole lives!! He was the absolute best and if you are planning a destination wedding in the Gatlinburg area we 10/10 recommend you get Pastor Jim to help you with everything!!

Our original plans fell through, which caused me to need to contact a new officiant last minute. The courthouse gave me Pastor Eastin's info and I reached out to him.
