Our journey began with Mikayla, who is an absolute master of logistics and understanding client needs. She was a true partner in the process of securing the space, patiently walking us through every option, making sure the venue configuration perfectly matched our guest count and aesthetic goals. Mikayla’s clarity and professional demeanor gave us immense confidence from day one that we had found the perfect canvas for our celebration.

As the wedding approached, Mali stepped in and became our day-of execution wizard. Her talent for planning and organization is unparalleled. Mali ensured that every detail, from vendor load-in schedules to the final timeline for the ceremony and reception, was flawlessly managed. On the wedding day, she was the calm, competent force behind the scenes, allowing us to relax completely and simply enjoy every moment. Mali's communication and attentiveness throughout the planning phase made us feel prioritized and supported.

GATHER was the very first venue we toured + right away we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding reception! From start to finish, the entire experience was incredible.

We primarily worked with Parker, who went above + beyond for us every step of the way. Not only is the space itself beautiful + modern, but the location truly can't be beat with multiple hotels less than a 5-minute walk away, Fiserv Forum right next door + countless restaurants nearby. With so many of our guests traveling from out of town, GATHER gave them the perfect opportunity to experience Milwaukee, the city we love so much!

From the initial tour all the way through our reception day, Parker + Mali were amazing to work with. Mali was especially helpful in brainstorming ways to make our menu unique, which our guests absolutely loved. On the day of our wedding, the staff went above + beyond by answering questions, making sure everything ran smoothly + taking great care of our guests.

We could not have asked for a better venue or team. We'd recommend GATHER a thousand times over!

One of the most thoughtful touches was when they made sure my husband and I got to try all the appetizers and desserts by preparing special plates for us and placing them at our seats—something we’ll always remember.

Gather was the perfect wedding venue! Everyone was professional and very responsive! The venue was stunning and fit all 175 of our guests perfectly! The outside deck area was very popular during the reception for all our guests. We got so many compliments on the venue!

We had a wonderful experience working with Gather at Deer District & their team. As a wedding planner I am pretty particular about vendors in general, but my husband and I knew GATHER was our fit for a variety of reasons. Between the city views, Deer District Location, and "blank canvas" it provides we were able to celebrate our wedding in our style. The Bucks and Levy staff were always friendly, responsive, and helpful! They were also flexible in offering solutions for my various crazy ideas. My team (who did day of coordination) said everything ran super smoothly behind the scenes and it was of course fabulous for our guests as well! The location, food, staff, and venue were excellent. It was the best day of my life and the Gather team were a key piece to making the day happen.

Gather was an absolute dream venue and a dream to work with! It is a gorgeous space with industrial elements and gorgeous floor to ceiling windows. Malorie, Mikayla, Mali - everyone was so helpful and constantly answering my questions. I never had to wait more that a day for a response. The food was incredible and the day of service team was great! I couldn't recommend Gather enough.

Our wedding reception at Gather was absolutely perfect! The team there was so helpful and communication with them was seamless! We loved that we were able to customize our food and drink package and they were so accommodating with set up and drop off of reception items! We were one of the first couples to have a reception at Gather at the Deer District right after it became Gather. They were incredibly knowledgable and organized, making the transition from the previous ownership smooth. In fact, Sarah had more experience organizing large-scale events and made everything comfortable. The night of, our families and guests were incredibly pleased with how friendly and professional the staff was. The day-of coordinator even helped me when a speech went on for much too long and I asked for help :). The staff also boxed up our centerpieces at the end of the evening, which was not expected and a huge help. When talking to guests later on, they said it was some of the best wedding food they'd had (short ribs and chicken). We were incredibly satisfied and highly recommend Gather. The Deer District makes it even more awesome.

The GATHER venue and whole support team was top notch. We had the most amazing wedding experience from first contact until closing time.

GATHER allowed us to have the most perfect wedding at the most perfect price. We loved our day of coordinator Mali, and the wait staff the day of. They were all SO helpful and quickly got everyone’s meals. They also kept the place looking clean and spotless, without making the guest feel like they needed to quickly finish their food so they could take their plates. The space is absolutely stunning. We loved that we could customize it to however we wanted. The patio was absolutely perfect! We loved our catering package options. They were really reasonably priced for everything that we got. Our guests loved the past hors d’oeuvres (they even let us specifically request basketball skewers because my husband loves basketball’s and they were able to get those for us a part of our cocktail hour so it made it even more personalized), the main entrées, and the late night snack. We also love that we could bring our own desserts in, it made our day be more personalized.

Our only recommendation to future couples would be to ensure that you are checking your contract for the cost of beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages before your wedding, and then making sure your guests are actually being charged that price at the actual event. We had a situation where we were told beers and wines would range between eight to $12, and mixed drinks would be $12. On the actual wedding day guests were being charged $17-$18 for a mixed drink and $12 for beer. This was genuinely the only issue that we had with GATHER. Everything else went off without a hitch and we absolutely loved and adored our wedding because of them.

Just gonna reiterate that the staff on site with us was absolutely incredible. They were so helpful at the end of the night helping clean up, they also were so sweet and they asked to take a picture with me and just were telling us how great our wedding was. They were some of the best catering staff I had ever experienced!

I would highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Milwaukee area to consider GATHER!!!

Our wedding at Gather was everything we could've hoped for. Mikayla, Ashley, and Mali (our contact for catering) were all great to work with and professional throughout the whole planning process. The venue being a more all-inclusive (they have a caterer that you work through) venue made the planning process so much easier. They truly made everything seamless and helped create such an amazing experience for us and our guests. We received many compliments on how kind the staff was and how delicious the food was. Would definitely recommend for any couples looking at a Downtown Milwaukee venue.

Our wedding at GATHER was fantastic! The venue had a unique and modern feel that our guests loved. The best part was that the garage doors to the deck were open all night, so guests that weren't dancing were able to stand at cocktail tables and mingle.
