As a wedding coordinator, I can confidently say that Dawn and the Gaslamp Floral team have gone above and beyond at every single event I have booked them for: weddings, bridal showers, celebrations of life, bridal shows, photoshoots, etc. Dawn is incredibly talented and brings a creative vision to life like no other florist I have worked with! Not only does she deliver arrangements that are even better than I could've ever expected, but she also takes the time to embellish small details around the venue with extra blooms- free of charge! She embellishes the guest book, welcome table, signs, photos, etc. Honestly, walking around the events is like a special hunt for places where Dawn has left her creative mark! She goes above-and-beyond for every single client. I fully trust Gaslamp Floral and wholeheartedly recommend her to every client (and even trust her to do my sister and my own wedding!) If you're reading this- you're in the right place! You will LOVE Dawn and working with Gaslamp Floral. -

Dawn Steele with Gaslamp floral and production is an amazing woman. She was able to take my ideas for my wedding flowers and turn it into the wedding of my dreams! She created Pinterest dream wedding floral arrangements. She was very communicative, honest, and worked well with my budget. I gave Dawn flexibility to create beauty in the reception space and she did not disappoint. There were flowers EVERYWHERE! I would highly recommend her and her team for your wedding. -

Gaslamp Floral did all the flowers for my September 2021 wedding. The flowers were absolutely stunning! Dawn was easy to work with and made our floral visions come true. They did all the floral set-up and the take-down and we didn't have to do a thing. If I ever get married again, I would totally have Gaslamp Flora do my flowers lol. -

Wow! Where to start! I can't say enough great things about Dawn and her team! When I saw the floral arrangements for the first time my jaw dropped in amazement. I’ve never seen such a pretty table arrangement! I honestly think these arrangements need to be the first search on Pinterest and all things wedding inspiration because they were truly breathtaking. She was so responsive to every email, she even came to me in San Diego to pick up some vases I wanted for the wedding. Additionally, I kept changing my mind about what I wanted and Dawn was so patient. Everything she did at the wedding was exactly what I wanted. She took my inspiration and made it come to life in ways I couldn’t even imagine for my wedding. If you chose Dawn as your florist you will NOT be disappointed :) Not only is Dawn an amazing florist, she is also a wedding coordinator! She is so amazing she even stayed the ENTIRE wedding to help out alongside my coordinator! She truly is everything you’d want and need on your wedding day. It was so easy and a joy working with this sweet, talented florist. Thank you for helping make my wedding day beautiful and special!

The ultimate package deal - I hired Dawn to do both my florals & my day of coordination. My flowers were absolutely breathtaking - they were exactly what I wanted. In addition, she was able to get both peonies & anemones for me even when they were out of season! As my day of coordinator she took over 2 weeks prior to the wedding, was there for the rehearsal dinner, and was my absolute go to day of. She handled absolutely everything, and never called me once! She made sure everything ran incredibly well on the day of. She also went above and beyond providing extra candles & decorations for the reception that she felt would really make my vision come to life - and they made all the difference. Florist, coordinator, or both, she is just amazing! -

Amazing and Sweet
Dawn is so incredibly sweet! We ended up having to cancel our reception due to COVID restrictions, and Dawn was so accommodating and understanding of our last minute changes. She kept in contact with me throughout the whole process to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. She truly goes above and beyond your expectations to make your day memorable. She surprised us with rose petals and extra floral pieces for the ceremony because she wanted our ceremony to be extra special since our reception was cancelled. It was so beautiful and I'm so grateful for her kind heart to do that for us! Dawn is fantastic at what she does and you won't regret hiring her. -

I worked with Dawn and her business, Gaslamp Floral, for my wedding. My theme was California Wildflowers and the reception is in a wine garden. I asked Dawn to make the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, as well as do the floral decor for the reception venue. The bridal bouquet was all I could ever hope for and more. Dawn used such unique blooms. It was gorgeous! She is very creative and talented. Dawn first met me at a coffee shop to discuss my ideas and to make sure she really understood what I was looking for. She also told me that every flower I purchased was mine so that she would find ways to use every extra cutting to help decorate the reception venue. She held to her word and everything at the reception venue looked like a dream. The different blooms on all the tables was perfect. You can't beat the quality, personal touch and price!!! I highly recommend working with Dawn and Gaslamp Floral. -

Dawn and Gaslamp Floral made my flower dreams come true!
I am obsessed with flowers and so is my mom and other friends attending the wedding. I have grown and sold flowers and knew the style and color of what I wanted for my wedding but also encouraged creativity from Dawn at Gaslamp Floral. And wow did she deliver! The flowers were better than I could have imagined. Dawn was so awesome to work with and really took my vision and ran with it. People were amazed by them, I think they must have been the most unique flowers most guests had seen at a wedding. Thank you Dawn for making my flower dream come true for my wedding! -

Dawn did a fantastic job coordinating our wedding and providing floral service. Her presence was very calming and put both my fiance and I at ease. We had the best time and everything was prefect, from the flowers, table set up, coordinating the wedding party, and making sure the reception went off without a hitch! ...and helping pick up. Florals & Coordination in sync!
Dawn was fantastic to work with! She not only did our stunning wedding flowers, she also was our day of coordinator. As a bride, I did not want to worry about anything the day of and Dawn made that happen. Everything went smoothly, and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding day. As an out of town bride, Dawn was so responsive to emails and texts leading up to the wedding. Her florals were stunning and captured the perfect blend of my romantic vision and my now husbands more tropical vision. You will not go wrong hiring Dawn for your florals and/or coordination! -

Where do I start!? Dawn was incredible! From the very start - where we sat down and chatted like old friends and went over my vision, budget and dreams, to the very end - where I ugly cried to her and gushed over how beautiful everything turned out the day of our wedding. There were countless emails, photos, and Pinterest inspos back and forth that led up to everything turning out SIMPLY PERFECT! She was honest with me when I told her my budget (Who knew florals were so expensive?!) and we worked through everything as she helped me make the decisions that mattered most to us (i.e. which flowers would give us the same look for less cost).
I would recommend Dawn and her team in a heartbeat! I wish I could get married again just to use her services one more time! Book her! She's simply the best!! -

We hired Dawn for our wedding florals and she did an amazing job! The vision that I had for the florals (pink, white, dusty rose) came together beautifully. We worked mostly through emails (because I'm based in San Francisco), and it was amazing that I showed her a couple of pictures, and she was able to make it turn into reality. The bouquet of the flowers were larger than expected! The florals made the entire wedding reception area so elegant! Also, she was reasonably price and was able to work within our tight budget! She also has connections to other parts of the wedding industry. So if you need wedding planning services, or lights, etc, you can go through her. We got lighting and chair sashes through her without having to worry about anther vendor.
What also makes Dawn and her floral services so awesome is that she took extra florals and decorated other areas of the wedding (welcome table, sweetheart table, reception table). She doesn't let florals go to waste! -
Jc Sent on 08/16/2018Gaslamp Floral knocked it out of the park for our wedding. We had our wedding in the event suite on the top floor of the San Diego library and as such, had a modern, urban venue. We wanted the floral arrangements to fit in with that. Dawn was amazing from beginning to end. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, so when she first met with us and asked the right questions to get an idea of what we were looking for, it was one less thing to worry about. As she honed in on what we wanted, there was a very easy dialogue between us and she was very receptive to our wants while still providing her expert opinion.
On the day of the wedding we went to the venue shortly before the wedding started and were blown away with the centerpieces and the wedding arch. We couldn't have imagined a better turnout. We got many compliments from our guests on the centerpieces. I would highly recommend Gaslamp Floral. It is well worth the money you will spend. -

Jori Sent on 05/03/2018Dawn was amazing to work with! She was super detail oriented which I appreciated so much--it gave me peace of mind. The bouquets she made were unbelievable (photos attached). I didn't get any photos of the boutonnieres but they were beautiful as well. She went above and beyond to create a center piece for our dinner at a local restaurant (we got married at the courthouse in an elopement-style civil ceremony) that just topped off our whole day. I am still getting compliments on my bouquet from anyone who looks at the photos. -

I had a pretty specific idea, and in talking with Dawn she was enthusiastic and assured me it was doable. She was very knowledgeable about the flowers and what would be in season, and didn’t try to talk me out of one flower to be replaced with another, as other florists had done.
I could not believe what I saw the day of my wedding. Dawn NAILED it, more than I ever could have imagined. The flowers were beautiful and healthy, and there were so many more decorating the venue than I had expected. We got so many compliments on our flowers, and I couldn’t have been happier. Thank you so much for all your work, Dawn; it was gorgeous!! -

Miriam Sent on 08/24/2017Moment we get our engagement ring we start thinking of all the details for our big day. We pin a million and one center pieces and look at all the Instagram wedding post. Somewhere along the way, we lose focus of what we really want and what will fit well in the venue we have picked. Dawn helped me make all those pinned and Instagram ideas into a reality. She looked at a ton of pictures and listened to what we wanted our wedding day to feel like. She captured every detail that we wanted, always keeping in mind that we had a tight budget. Dawn was honest about ways to keep cost down without compromising the vision we had. The center pieces, flower arrangements and wedding party flowers were just perfect. With her vision, she created a huge reception hall into the most romantic and warm setting. Five months after our wedding people are still talking about how beautiful our flowers were. We will forever be grateful for Dawn and her team. There is no doubt that I will be calling her for future events.

Dawn was so wonderful to work with, especially during such a stressful 18 months and rescheduling. At our first meet, we explained our vision for the wedding, including colors, types of flowers, decor, etc. When she sent us the quote, she included pictures that perfectly epitomized what we were looking for. On our wedding day, she created beautiful bouquets and decor for us. She did a great job reusing our decor throughout the day as well. -

Beautiful work
Dawn made both of our bridal bouquets, bridal party bouquets, boutonnières, centerpieces and accents for around our venue. There is no question that she is a talented florist! I mean wow, our flowers were absolutely stunning and even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Dawn was so sweet and so willing to work with us, she truly brought our vision to life. All the touches around the venue truly made it look amazing and the table runners were spectacular. We had so many compliments on our bouquets. It was pretty remarkable that we received such beautiful flowers and great service while being able to stay well within our budget. We have recommended her to many and will continue to do so!
