Working with Gary for our multicultural Wedding Tea Ceremony Banquet was truly a delightful experience. From our initial meeting, his professionalism and understanding of our vision were evident.
Our engagement shoot showcased Gary's skill and attention to detail. He proactively familiarized himself with our preferences well ahead of the shoot, ensuring each frame was thoughtfully composed, leveraging the natural environment and ambient lighting to its fullest. His pre-shoot guidance was instrumental in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience, resulting in photos that not only met but surpassed our expectations, beautifully encapsulating our personalities and generating excitement for our wedding day.
On the wedding day, Gary's adaptability and discerning eye shone through. We worked with Gary for our September wedding, and he was AMAZING.
Wedding photography is so important, and we 100% recommend Gary! He is an extremely organized, experienced, timely, and warm person.
In the months leading up to the wedding, he met with us multiple times (virtually, as we live out of state) to get an idea of who we are as a couple and what types of photos we wanted. He also had us complete detailed questionnaires, which helped us think through the important elements of the day. About a month before the wedding, he walked us through the photography timeline. He even suggested things to make the day go more smoothly. And checked in on us the days leading up!
On the day of, he arrived early and was very kind to our wedding party and guests. Our 5-year-old nephew followed Gary around all day trying to be an assistant photographer (LOL!), so we thank him for being extra accommodating.
Gary helped pose our wedding party to capture gorgeous photos. For the rest of the evening, he was there to capture many of our candid moments.
We received preview photos the day after the wedding (SO FAST!), and they were stunning. We're so happy we got him as our wedding photographer.
Gary is a true professional. He was more than just our photographer, he was our hype man! :) We would definitely work with him again! -

Gary is a FANTASTIC photographer. He captured our personality and knew where and when to get the lighting and angles just right. We didn’t know what we were doing, and he was very helpful in guiding us how to pose and move. He is very personable and the pictures turned out better than I could have imagined. He captured everything perfectly and I can’t stop looking at the pictures! I highly recommend him and we are so glad we chose Gary as our photographer for our best day ever! -

I highly recommend Gary for anyone looking for a wedding or engagement photographer. As a photographer he is extremely skilled, and my wife and I are so pleased with all of his work.
However, Gary also helped keep us organized and on point. He scheduled multiple check-in calls with us to ensure everything was appropriately planned. He created an itinerary that we consulted frequently during our wedding planning.
On wedding day he was happy to assist with anything else my wife and I needed, and he was extremely communicative throughout. He is an absolute professional and we feel extremely fortunate to have been able to use him as our photographer. -

Gary Lun is an excellent photographer. My husband is a photographer himself - and as you might guess from a fellow professional - very picky about other photographers that he likes. Gary was on a short list of just 3 wedding photographers that my husband liked their portfolios.
Working with Gary was great - before, during, and after! He told us up front what to expect, gave us some "homework" which helped him ensure that he got the shots we wanted. Gary is a kind, easy going man - which made it easy to work with him the day of the wedding. Post wedding, Gary posted "preview" photos on Facebook - and finished processing the rest of the photos by his stated delivery date.
My husband and I were thrilled at the quality of photos that we got on our wedding day. Gary is worth every penny!
Bonus tip: make sure you like Gary's Facebook page - that's where he posted our wedding preview photos!

Gary's a really great guy! He's extremely responsive and communicated with us before, during and after our engagement session. This was our first professional photoshoot together and the pictures were beautiful! I love the light and natural editing. Not to mention he surprised us with our photos ahead of the timeframe originally given. We can't wait to have him at our wedding next summer! -

One of our engagement photos from a photo session with Gary WON the International Wedding Photography Award! Congratulations on winning Gary! We were absolutely amazed and extremely thankful that he allowed us to pick two locations (Minnehaha Falls and Kaya Vineyards) for an engagement photo session that we won.
He is extremely friendly, very easy going and an amazingly skilled photographer! We received our photos in 2 weeks and we absolutely loved all of the photos! -

Working with Gary was an absolutely wonderful experience! He’s incredibly knowledgeable with his art and very creative. He’s very kind and was happy to take any ideas. I wanted a sparkler exit picture but couldn’t have them at our venue, he made sure my dream came true on our wedding day by just walking Across the street, I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. Without a doubt for any other events or photography needs Gary will always be our first choice. -
