Just WOW!!

Garuda Blue blew it out of the water. This band is on a next level! If you are a purveyor of good music and are looking for something other than your typical wedding band, well this is the band for you. You can tell that these guys are real jazz musicians that have been playing with each other for a long time. I heard nothing but great music, sick solos, and plenty of praises from our friends and family. Jazz, R&B, Soul, Funk, Top 40s, you name it, and they will nail it.

If you are looking for the BEST look no further! Thank you, Garuda Blue!!

Just WOW!!

Garuda Blue was the absolute BEST band we could have asked for. These guys are professional jazz musicians that happen to do weddings and not the cookie cutter wedding bands that happen to do some jazz. Their communication leading up to the wedding was prompt, professional, and concise, which put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. On the day of, their performance was nothing short of exceptional - they played incredible jazz solos and during the dance party they got everyone dancing to top 40 hits. As top-tier jazz musicians with their own original arrangements, they truly elevated our wedding reception and made it a night to remember. We highly recommend Garuda Blue to any couple looking for the best in live music and entertainment for their special day.

Best jazz wedding band in bay!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Garuda Blue for our wedding, and they were simply outstanding from start to finish. Their versatility, professionalism, and responsiveness made the entire process so smooth and stress-free. They learned three special song requests for us, and I had the honor of singing with them. The instrumental versions they played were nearly identical to the originals, making it easy for me to follow along and enjoy the performance.

During the rehearsals, all the band members were so easy to get along with. They patiently guided me to fit into their instrumentals, and even the rehearsal footage itself was so nice to watch afterward. Their proficiency and expertise really shone through—they were able to effortlessly play songs from various genres and even modulate to different keys to accommodate my vocal range.

Communication with them was effortless—they provided all the detailed information I needed and really helped calm my nerves. The rehearsals gave me so much reassurance and confidence for the big day.

On the day of the wedding, they arrived early to set everything up, and the show they put on was nothing short of magnificent. Their soft, romantic jazz during dinner set the perfect mood. Later, during the party dance time, their hit pop songs were vibing so much that even the shyest guests hopped onto the dance floor! The entire crowd was energized, and we all had an unforgettable time.

If you’re looking for a band that goes above and beyond to deliver a perfect, unforgettable performance, I cannot recommend Garuda Blue highly enough!

Amazing Band!!

Garuda Blue is fantastic!! We hired them for our wedding and they didn’t disappoint! Everyone was dancing and having a wonderful time. All of the guys were very nice and excited with all of our excitement in having them. My husband and I are big music people and love live concerts. It felt like having VIP tickets to a show! Not only was the music wonderful but they were very communicative through the whole process. Truly wonderful people who are very talented. Thank you Garuda Blue for being a part of our special day! Perfect Band!

Garuda Blue was the perfect band for my daughter's wedding. Everyone enjoyed the music, both the sophisticated jazz during cocktails and dinner, and then especially the dance pop later in the evening as things heated up. The players were all excellent musicians, and they looked sharp, too. The communication leading up to the event was good, and the band was extremely professional at all times. This is a quality organization. My daughter and her new husband were very happy with Garuda Blue, and many of the wedding guests made a point of telling me how much they enjoyed the band. I highly recommend them.

Wedding Bliss

Garuda Blue was the perfect choice for our son's wedding. He picked the band based on his own years as a musician and playing in bands. Talking with Abe, the band's leader, our son knew immediately that his choice of music, number of band members, length of sets, etc. would be respected. And, indeed honored they were. The band pleased all ages at the reception and provided the perfect tone for the entire party. If you need a band, stop here. Book them! They are in high demand. We feel lucky to have secured a top-notch, professional, and exceptionally talented group of musicians.

Garuda Blue is a great band

The Garuda Blue Band made our reception really fun. They are excellent musicians and know how to make events seem to flow naturally. They earned enthusiastic praise from the musicians and non-musicians, young and old, dancers and non-dancers among our guests. They were incredibly easy to work with as well. Great sound and musical range

Garuda Blue played at my 60th birthday party at the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley. They played light jazz outside on the patio, a jazz set on stage and then several hours of dance music ranging from the 60s to contemporary. I'm a singer and half of the audience were musicians. My wife and I sang a duet accompanied by them, as did two friends who had brought jazz arrangements to them to practice a few months before the event. Everyone loved the band. Abe and the group were a joy to work with. I can highly recommend Garuda Blue for your event.

Highly recommend Garuda Blue!

Garuda Blue is made up of a group of very talented musicians, as a result their music is incredible! I am a wedding planner who has worked with Garuda Blue for over 4 years on many events together. We are always excited when we get to partner up on events, it's also a huge bonus to be able to enjoy their music too!

Not only do they have a great jazz repertoire, they also do many modern and party hits that are sure to get the dance floor going. This is a common question we get a lot - whether or not a jazz party band works for the dancing portion of the evening. For Garuda Blue it's a big hands down yes!

They can also help with ceremony and cocktail hour ambiance music by doing a smaller ensemble (like a duo or trio). Overall they are very communicative and easy to work with (so important with all the details and stress that comes with event planning). Everyone in this group is kind, hardworking, and passionate about what they do, which are important traits in this industry because it shows in the energy and music that is played.

Played for wedding reception - 100% recommend

We had Garuda Blue play for our wedding and are 100% satisfied with the band and would highly recommend anyone have them play for their wedding or event. They made our wedding reception so much better, and assisted in making our reception run smoothly, as they emceed for it. They learned and played two additional songs upon request for two special dances, and played them beautifully. The band was very professional, easy to communicate with, and performed lovely music! No complaints at all!

Top knotch!!

Stop thinking - just book!!

My husband is a jazz pianist, and I minored in violin performance. We know music, and we can vouch that this band plays well - very well.

They changed the vibe of our wedding completely. Our wedding would have been empty with you guys!!! I was really hesitant because it was a pricey factor in a wedding budget, but this was one of the best wedding vendor purchase we made.

We went all out and had the full band, and it blew us away. Just do it!

Could not recommend more!

Abe and the whole band were beyond great, both in their actual performance at our wedding reception but also what it was like to deal with them in the lead-up. Highly, highly recommended. Highlights: (1) They respond to emails promptly and efficiently and reasonably. Unlike many wedding vendors, they will not cause you stress. (2) They will learn (a limited number of) new songs for you if you give them a heads-up. (3) They are real professionals and were able to adapt to some minor snafus on the day without it even becoming an issue. (4) These guys are incredible musicians -- they did a wonderful job playing background music during the dinner with a smaller combo and then dance music with vocals after dinner. Everybody loved them -- kids, old people, everybody in between. They kept playing hard until the venue shut us out even with like 2 people remaining on the dance floor! Bottom line, would absolutely hire again and could not recommend more strongly.

Best wedding band ever

Garuda Blue was definitely a highlight of our wedding reception. They played an acoustic jazz set during our cocktail hour, a full band jazz set during dinner, and then a soul/hits set while we danced the night away. All three sets were absolutely stunning. My husband and I are huge jazz fans and appreciated the incredible craftsmanship each member brought to the band.

Prior to the day, the band manager Abe was incredibly easy to work with: very responsive, accommodating, and organized. Even when one of the band members had an emergency and was unable to perform, Garuda Blue quickly found an EXCELLENT replacement. Our reception wouldn't have been the same without them!

Abe & team not only produced a prodigious evening for my bride, family, and guests, but they were able to drape the evening with profound class!

Professional, sharp, and talented, doesn’t begin to describe how this band presented. Comments from our friends and family included “the band at your wedding made this the best wedding I have ever been to” and “where did you find these guys” came in droves. The music was timeless, fun, and diverse.

Looking back at our evening, Garuda Blue really gave us an amazing gift, absolute preeminence, bar none.

The best in the business

We hired Garuda Blue for our wedding, and they were absolutely phenomenal. They are beyond communicative, extremely professional and flexible, and they are incredible musicians who will make your wedding truly memorable. I’m a trained jazz musician myself, and these guys truly know their stuff. They played all the hits and had the crowd dancing nonstop.

We had guests begging the band to play more songs — honestly, book Garuda Blue. You will not regret it, and you’ll have a blast. They are worth every penny and more.

A musician's band

Wow, Garuda Blue blew it out of the park at our wedding. This is no ordinary band; it is a musician's band. All the members of Garuda Blue are top notch jazz musicians and it shows in their playing. I never thought that a wedding band can be this good since I always assume that musicians of their caliber are too artsy and advanced to do weddings. Well, I was wrong! Garuda Blue is a HIDDEN GEM; you won't find anyone better out there. No need to look anywhere else, just book them already!

Abe and his crew are terrific!

We hired them for dance music at the end of an auction event. Dinner service was slow after the presentation finished, so we asked them to play easy back-ground music that we had not originally asked for. They were able to easily go with the flow and come up with several numbers that fit the mood perfectly, before switching over to dance music.

They made the party!

We got so lucky with hiring them! The band is so classy and was exactly the vibe that we wanted, and they did an amazing job. They knew exactly how to direct the flow of the party, and they made it an absolutely amazing night. They were many people's favorite parts of the wedding, and they really just set the scene for the entire night. They were amazing and I would highly recommend them! Exceptional band all around!

Garuda Blue played our wedding and they were absolutely exceptional. The band is made up of truly excellent musicians - we had other jazz musicians in the audience singing their praises - and they did a phenomenal job adjusting their sound to the mood of the room (people at the wedding asked if they could go to a Garuda Blue concert separately because they were so good). They were also incredibly helpful and flexible, from delaying a year due to the pandemic to setting up a sound system for toasts to playing different styles for different stages of the wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc). And above all else, they are incredibly kind people. I cannot recommend a band more highly!

Garuda Blue provided an absolutely phenomenal service on my wedding day.

Going for the full package with Garuda Blue was the best vendor choice for my wedding! From communicating with Abe regarding specific song selections to the cleanup after the event, Garuda Blue was a pleasure to work with. The enthusiasm for the music, their outfits despite the 105F weather, the transitions between songs throughout the event, AND THE EMCEEING was fantastic. Great talent, flexible band

We used half of the Garuda Blue Band, opting for a chill, jazzy vibe during our small wedding of 30. They were very flexible, moving to several different locations throughout the wedding. They were always on time and had a positive attitude. They provided everything we needed in terms of a high quality sound system and microphones -- we used their mics during the ceremony and for toasting during dinner.
They provided emceeing services as a part of their contract. They also cleaned up great! We felt like they were part of the community of our guests. Highly recommended!

Amazing Musicians, Amazing Experiences!

We first saw Garuda Blue play at my husband's company holiday party and I immediately knew I wanted them to play at our wedding! They really know how to get a party started - my husband said he couldn't believe they got a bunch of Silicon Valley techies on the dance floor! We most recently had Abe (pianist) and Patrick (vocals) perform at our Catholic wedding ceremony and it was absolutely beautiful! They are extremely talented and are very knowledgeable when it comes to Catholic ceremonies. We cannot wait to have them perform at our larger reception post-COVID! I have no doubt they are going to be a hit. If you are deciding between a DJ or band, go with a band and go with Garuda Blue!

Garuda Blue knocked it out of the park!

We hired Garuda Blue to perform out our wedding, during the ceremony, dinner and reception. Every part of their involvement was fantastic. Abe was so easy to work with and very professional. My husband is a huge music snob and was very impressed with the talent and range of the entire band. All the guests (including us) were dancing the night away and Garuda definitely kept the party going. If you are looking for an A+ live band for your event, you won't be disappointed.

Top-notch professionals, magical night

We hired Garuda Blue for a wedding of around 100 guests at the St Francis Yacht Club. They played a cocktail hour from 5-6pm and then a set from 6-9pm, with a break in the middle for speeches. Overall, we had a magical night due in no small part to the incredible atmosphere that the live band created.

Garuda Blue is incredibly talented and the level of musicianship is very high. All their numbers are extremely tight and well-rehearsed, creating a magical experience for all our guests. Multiple guests later told me that the band was the highlight of the night.

They played a range of jazzy numbers for the sunset cocktail hour and then transitioned into swing for our first dances, after which they started mixing in some recognizable pop covers. The music was so good that the dance floor was packed from the moment the dancing started until the end of the night. They were also accommodating of a couple of pre-arranged song requests from us.

Their price was very reasonable: for the 4 hours of playing we paid $3900 (structured as $1000 deposit upfront, the remaining $2900 after the night). With wedding-related purchases you often feel like you're paying 3x more just because it's for a wedding, but with Garuda Blue I felt like we got much more than our money's worth, and I would hire absolutely them again for other large events.

If you're on the fence about getting a live band, just go for it. For $4K you'll get a magical atmosphere, very happy guests and an unforgettable night. Scrimp on decorations or desserts if you have to, because no other wedding spending will give you this much bang for your buck! And, if you're going to go for a live band, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better outfit than Garuda Blue.

Amazing band, very much recommend!!!

Garuda Blue Band was great and the perfect band for our wedding. We got married at Carmel Valley Ranch and had a number of custom requests that the band helped us with and made sure went off perfectly. Whether it was jazz or pop, these guys did an excellent job keeping the crowd engaged. They even learned two songs and accompanied my father during our reception which was a very special requests on our part.
These guys are simply amazing!

The best wedding band ever

Seriously, if you’re looking to book a band then look no further. These guys were absolutely amazing! Both my father-in-law and I are musicians so we naturally had some high expectations, and Garuda Blue exceeded them all. Incredibly talented and they nailed all of our special requests expertly. The rest of their set was flawless. They performed at the ceremony, through dinner and of course after for the remainder of the night, and their selections, arrangements and execution were perfect. Their covers of Bowie and Stevie Wonder were among my favorites, and they even pulled off a beautiful Hamilton instrumental for my wife’s entrancement. Their range and precision were incredible.

Performance aside, they were professional and responsive throughout the entire process, had the best attitudes the day of, and were a pleasure to work with. They were quick and efficient, and knew exactly how to work the venue for the best possible sound and placement. Making an awesome night even more awesome!

Garuda Blue was absolutely awesome!!! They played at our wedding last weekend and were super accommodating and worked to customize the program/night exactly how I imagined, but even better!!! The music was awesome, the service personal and real, and the mix of music spot on. My only regret was having such a busy night (what they say is true - the day is a blur and you don’t remember anything!) that I didn’t get to fully enjoy the band’s music ourselves (but at least our guests did!). If you’re trying to toss up between hiring a DJ or a band for your wedding/event, I would 10000% recommend getting a band. Specifically, this band! Thanks guys for making our night an amazing one! Wouldn’t have been the same without your music :) no regrets ever!

One of the best choices we made

Garuda is an absolute gem of a band. They provided the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and the first half of our dancing. At everystep they overdelivered on what was expected of them. They lean hard on jazz standards but took on temporary music and requests beautifully. I feel very lucky to have had them at our wedding.

LOVE this band

This band is seriously awesome. They played our wedding down in Palm Springs and we could not have been happier. These guys are clearly VERY talented musicians, but beyond that they had everybody at the wedding dancing the entire night. We, as well as all of our guests, had such a blast. They are young guys and super energetic - it felt like they were just as excited to be at the wedding as we were. 10/10 would highly recommend these guys if you are in need of a band for a wedding or any other big event!

Unadulterated Talent

Not a mediocre wedding band, these boys nailed the Jazz and met the crowd’s energy flawlessly! They were our most timely and effective vendor to communicate with. They received our low key and somewhat disorganized style the day of with grace and ease. These men are true musicians-buy your flowers from Costco, starve people, cancel the cheesy favors- whatever you have to do to get Garuda Blue to your wedding. I promise it’s worth it. Although be prepared for them to outshine the bride, they’re that good.

Absolutely amazing

Garuda Blue is an exceptional band. They are extremely talented musicians and are super versatile - making them a perfect wedding/party band. We had the pleasure of having them at our wedding (in Lake Tahoe) and they absolutely rocked it! From the beautiful ceremony music to the formal cocktail hour to the dance floor - everything was perfect and on point. They are classy, but know how to get the party going! They were SO pleasant to work with and even let us request 6 songs that weren’t on their already massive playlist! Meaning they had to learn and perform these songs and did so just for us! We highly recommend this band and wish we could give them more than 5 stars.

Incredible Performance at Company Event!

We hired Garuda for our team cocktail event for 250 people following a two day strategy session. They played perfectly to the atmosphere and were only too happy to stay on longer than I had originally asked as the team didn't want it to end. The start was great jazz music that suited the event and by the end, they had the entire group up dancing. Thank you so much!

We loved working with Abe - he was incredibly responsive and professional. Garuda Blue delivered an absolutely fantastic performance for our reception - beginning with perfectly selected jazz standards during cocktail hour and dinner, then kicking it up a notch for dancing later on in the evening. The song they performed for our first dance together (and learned at our request) was one of the loveliest renderings we've ever heard (Stevie Wonder's "Overjoyed"). Their performance really made our reception unique and special, and our guests couldn't say enough great things about them. We also really appreciated their willingness to drive to a relatively remote venue and play outside!

Garuda Blue played at our wedding and they were a fantastic addition to an amazing day! Abe was excellent at communicating promptly regarding logistics prior to the wedding. The band showed up on time looking sharp and set up smoothly. Their renditions of our requested songs were great and they even facilitated a surprise musical number my parents planned and performed. Guests across generations and cultures were dancing and the jazz music during dinner really added to the atmosphere. They really helped the party feel special and kept the energy going. I received multiple compliments from guests about the band. I would highly recommend them!

Garuda Band is by far the best decision I made for my wedding. Abe and the band are such great people!! I will definitely hire them again for more parties to come! Garuda Blue was a phenomenal band for our wedding! They are fantastic musicians in their own right, masters of tunes across many genres, with a knack for reading the crowd. They played throughout our evening outdoors, from jazz to funk to other tunes that got our guests grooving. They were incredibly easy to communicate and plan with in advance and even during the night of, they stayed late when the crowd wanted more. We could not more highly recommend Garuda Blue!

I’m so happy with Garuda Blue! Words can’t express it. They’re such a great band and overall just a great group of guys to hang with. Our guests loved them and everyone gravitated towards the band. We’re so happy we decided to hire these guys over another band that we considered during our planning stages. If you’re a jazz fan like I am, I wouldn’t even consider hiring anyone else in the business. These dudes are actual hardcore jazz musicians, monsters on their instruments. They have their own arrangements of jazz classics that are way too good. These guys must have been playing together for a long time to have the kind of synergy that they have, very rare nowadays. Garuda Blue rocked! Our wedding was exceptional because of these guys. My wife and I are so glad that we decided to hire them. We had them from ceremony until midnight and they covered all the bases that we needed for the day. Their playing and music were phenomenal. They were super talented jazz musicians and it showed in their performance. We loved every moment of it. They mixed in vocal jazz alongside instrumental jazz classics and they made the evening extra special. Afterwards, they went beast mode with the party music. Had the whole party dancing on the floor. My husband and I are completely thrilled and happy with Garuda Blue. They were the perfect band for us. Our wedding would not have been the same without them. I’ve lost count on the amount of compliments we’ve gotten for the band. We are jazz lovers and we could not have found a better band. These guys were so good. They are real jazz musicians; their playing is completely beyond their age. What was very evident was their love for what they do. Our wedding was not simply a job for them but a real opportunity to play music and entertain people. Lastly, they really listened and felt the crowd. We hired them for jazz but when they felt that the crowd wanted to dance more, they immediately switched to dance music on the spot and got everybody on the dance floor. We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to hire Garuda Blue.

Hiring Garuda Blue was the best thing we could have done for our wedding. We were thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and musicality. This band is NOT your typical wedding band. When working with this band, you don’t work with an agency. You work DIRECTLY with Abe (he’s the piano player and band leader) & his team. This band is a tight-knit group of PRO level young musicians and these are all the same guys you see in their videos.

When we were browsing through different bands, we discovered that most wedding bands are agency based and when you hire them, they call up different musicians and they’ll assemble a band for your wedding. That just didn’t cut it for us. We wanted an actual band that has its own personality and chemistry, not just some hastily arranged band by an agency to perform at your wedding.

Garuda Blue is exactly the opposite of these agency bands. Working with Abe was awesome. From day one we knew exactly what we were getting. Firstly, these guys are PRO Jazz musicians and they play their asses off. Secondly, you can tell from the first note that they played that these guys know each other really well and it really translates into their music. Their arrangements were killing and they went off without a single glitch, from cocktail hour to the dance party. They read each other’s minds and there were so many spontaneous moments without missing a beat – things that happen only when a band is super tight. They interacted with our guests so well and got everyone to the dance floor singing along the whole night. Our guests only had the best things to say about the band.

We’d hire them again in a heartbeat when we have another event. This band will trash the agency bands any day. They were so worth the money we spent.

We had the best experience with Garuda Blue. Having a band at our wedding was definitely a must have for us and we’re glad we picked Garuda Blue. Abe is the epitome of professionalism. From the start of our inquiry until the wedding day Abe was hands on and was clearly knowledgeable about the business. He’s a great communicator and is very prompt in his responses throughout the process. He gave suggestions of songs for our special dances and when we decided on a song that we wanted that was outside of their repertoire he was very accommodating and assured us that the band will perform it authentically. And they really delivered on their promise. Our wedding was extra special because of these guys. They were ultra-talented, super musicians. Well worth the money we spent. My wife and I are super happy that we hired Garuda Blue for our wedding. We were incredibly impressed by their professionalism and above all by their music. So many awesome comments from our guests. They are HANDS DOWN super talented & a tight group of musicians. The only drawback was that we totally miscalculated and didn’t hire them long enough. DON’T hire a DJ when you have this band. They will put any DJs to shame. They played high class jazz for our cocktail hour and dinner, and a little bit of dance music afterwards. Then it was their time to go and our DJ to take over. Bad mistake. The DJ couldn’t keep up with the energy that they had. I wish we would have hired them until midnight. They were so personable and interacted with our guests in ways that a DJ could never do. The quick dance set that they played brought way more guests to the dance floor than the DJ the rest of the night. You can’t ever go wrong with this band. Seriously.

Garuda Blue took my wedding to the next level. They were so worth the investment. Firstly, this band is not your typical wedding band. These guys don’t just play your typical go to wedding songs for a “feel” good, cheesy wedding vibe. I wanted a band that is high-energy, cool and hip with musicians that can really play their music. Also, if you are a jazz fan, you will know what I’m talking about. This band plays jazz like nobody’s business. I got distracted more than once because I would hear these killing solos from the guys in the band. Their playing is beyond their age. That would never happen with your typical feel good wedding band. To top it off, the dudes in this band are seriously down to earth and overall just a nice group of guys to chill with. Garuda Blue was the perfect choice for my parents' anniversary party. They are outstanding musicians and very professional. Many of my guests came up to me raving about how amazing the band was. As the party was a surprise, the timeline of events was somewhat up in the air, but the band was very flexible and accommodating. Garuda Blue was top notch. We couldn’t have picked a better band to work with. We like to go out and catch live shows and this band definitely stood out when Abe invited us to their jam session at Savanna Jazz. These guys got chemistry that other bands lack. They read each other’s minds and their music stood out because of it. I could have listened to them all night. We hired them ASAP for our wedding.

At the wedding, they delivered. Our guests loved them. They were a good hang and just an all-around great group of guys that can really play their music. Working with them was a breeze. They were so professional and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Answered any questions I had and played all the music that I requested for the special dances.

They were so worth the money we spent. This band is a RARE find among wedding bands nowadays. There are plenty of typical, cookie cutter wedding bands out there. If you want something that stands out, this band is definitely it.

Hiring Garuda Blue was the best decision that I could have made for my wedding. I am a musician and when it comes to selecting my wedding band, musicality is the most important aspect for me. These guys are not just your typical jazz/wedding band. They KNOW how good music works and play them to perfection. The band members all have virtuosic technique on their instruments. They will beat their competitors easily.

We hired the band for the whole evening. It was so worth the investment. They seamlessly moved through the different events of the evening, starting the with cocktail hour & dinner. The band was sensitive to the crowd and played the right music. Oh, and did I already mention their musicality? I’m gonna say it again. These guys play jazz like no other. It’s very hard to impress me musically but even I was floored at just how good their playing was. When they switched to dance music, they REALLY got the party started.

Working with Abe was awesome. He was always ready to answer any questions and he worked to make sure all of our requests were fulfilled. They were professionals to the tee and obviously know the ins and outs of the wedding business. They were on time, looked good and sharp, and obviously sounded awesome.

Garuda Blue was fantastic! They are all incredible musicians and were accommodating to all our requests, namely the fact that our venue had a no-amplification requirement, which is not an easy feat. Their playlist was a lot of fun and got people dancing, even tho it was strictly a selection of jazz or jazz arrangements. Had we not had the restriction, we would've loved to have amped them up for some more pop/dance songs, which is easily in their repertoire. I would strongly recommend Garuda Blue again. They were a great goup of talented musicians, had a great repertoire, were easy to communicate with, worked within our budget, and were a lot of fun!

Garuda Blue played for a very high profile event my law firm hosted recently. Abe responded to my request for availability within 30 min and we had a call the following Saturday to discuss the details. I booked and paid them through this site (so easy!) and they showed up early looking sharp. They are total pros - super talented musicians, polished, friendly. I had a million things to do for this event and was so grateful to have hired a great band that totally delivered in every aspect. The Garuda Blue guys were very accommodating in playing the music selections of our choice as well as having an impressive list of their own selections covering a range of jazz, swing, R&B danceable tunes. We communicated by email regularly to be sure all plans were on track. They were on time, dressed appropriately and many guests commented on their excellent performance. Nearly all guests was up dancing, making it a wonderfully fun event. We really enjoyed working with Abe to prepare for our upcoming wedding. He was open to special requests, and was easygoing throughout the whole process! Having them play jazz during dinner was a huge success, our guests loved the added ambiance. I also loved that during the reception, they were able to play a variety of pop and other dance songs to suit the vibe at any given moment on the dance floor. The guys were wonderful. Arrived early to get set up, professional, able to make fluid mid-set adjustments/requests during the reception. Smooth sailing, easy to work with, great repertoire. Everyone enjoyed the music and with their professionalism, we wouldn't hesitate to book them for our next event that needs great music.

Garuda Blue delivered! We couldn't have asked for a better band for our wedding! My husband and I were so thrilled to hear all the wonderful comments from our guests about the music.They created such a wonderful atmosphere for our reception. Everyone's toes were tapping. After each song, they got a round of applause from us as well as our guests; that shows how good they were. If we had any questions, Abe was very good about answering all our questions and in such a timely manner. He was very easy to work with and they played all the songs we requested. We would HIGHLY recommend Garuda Blue for any event. 10 stars across the board!

These guys were amazing! All of our wedding guests could not stop talking about how good the music was at the wedding. Garuda Blue was great to work with and was very accommodating to our requests. We were very lucky to have such talented musicians play at our wedding! Thanks a million guys!
