Wedding Dream Come True
Meghan at Garibaldi and Bianca from Olde Pink House worked together to make all our destination wedding dreams come true. From the constant communication (oh so sweet and detailed) to planning out the layout, menu, and design of our gorgeous wedding, it was all dream worthy. Our guests could not stop gushing about the gorgeous looks and views of the large windows, decor, and aesthetic. Stunning and elegant, it felt like something out of a romantic Southern movie. The food was to die for, Mike was incredible and so supportive the night of, and the staff was bending over backwards from start to finish to help set up, serve, and break down all our wedding party elements. Garibaldi is the perfect location for a wedding. The upstairs ballroom offers such beauty by itself you barely need anymore wedding decor than just the beautiful bride and groom. We had the cocktail party downstairs which was a great environment to start the evening off. The wedding that the Garibaldi staff helped me achieve had a sense of Savannah elegance, southern romance, and sophisticated fun. Meghan, the event coordinator, was very helpful in the planning process and day of coordination. Everyone went out of their way to make the event the most beautiful day of our lives. If you are lucky enough to book Garibaldi as your wedding reception site I highly recommend booking them.Garibaldi is the perfect location for a wedding. Bianca with Garibaldi Cafe made the entire wedding planning process so great! She is beyond AMAZING! The service from the servers the night of the wedding was perfect and our guests loved the atmosphere! And of course the food was delicious!!! We had our reception at Garibaldi's and I don't know if it could have possibly gone any better. The staff was amazing, and Bianca was an absolute joy to work with. She is like a magic fairy - you tell her what you need and she gets it done with style! The waitstaff were amazing with our family and friends, and even busted a move or two on the dance floor when invited to! Our guests raved about their meals, with many of them coming up to us and telling us it was the best dinner they'd ever had.
The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous, and the decor is perfect for a moody, vintage wedding like we had. We absolutely loved celebrating our wedding at Garibaldi's, and will definitely make it back to Savannah each year to celebrate anniversaries with dinners there now, too!We had our reception at Garibaldi's and I don't know if it could have possibly gone any better. I can't say enough about how amazing Garibaldi was. The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous, the food was amazing, the bar was great, and the servers were professional and very responsive. Our guests loved everything and multiple people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Meghan was great to work with, and made planning super easy and fun, she was also very accommodating to any request we had big or small. We don't have enough good things to say about them, if I had to do it over again I would choose them every time. It was a dream wedding!!I can't say enough about how amazing Garibaldi was. A+ staff and venue. Elegant, delicious food, professional and super accommodating staff, we couldn't have been happier! I think all our guests were really impressed with how beautiful the place was and how great the food was (the flounder!!) We were from out of town so I especially appreciated that they let me ship some candles and other small things there ahead of time. We had all day to set up the room as well and that was really helpful. Overall the made the process stress free and totally nailed it. We were so so happy we had our wedding reception there. For everything we received, we felt like it was a steal!A+ staff and venue. Elegant, delicious food, professional and super accommodating staff, we couldn't have been happier! Meghan, and the staff at Garibaldi, is the best! I didn't have a wedding coordinator so I was a little worried about coordinating timelines and schedules for our reception, but Meghan completely took care of everything. She took all of our ideas and planned them, coordinated them and executed them to perfection. We received so many compliments about how attentive the staff was, I don't think a glass sat empty the entire night--which was important since none of our guests wanted to leave the dance floor! I can't say enough good things about Meghan and Garibaldi as a whole--I am so thrilled we chose them for our reception and would recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect venue in Savannah!Meghan, and the staff at Garibaldi, is the best! Meghan went above and beyond for our reception and every detail that we imagined was all setup exactly as we wanted! She is a true joy to work with and is very responsive. The room at Garibaldi is just beautiful and the lighting is perfect for pictures. Our guest could not stop talking about the Lobster Rabini! You cannot do any better than Garibaldi's. Period. Full stop. Megan is the best of the best. She is patient, knowledgeable, gracious, and damn good at what she does. She helped with anything related to the reception, recommending a florist, helping with the timing, crafting the menu, and making sure the evening was flawless--something that my wedding planners could not have been less interested in. I wish I could have hired her to plan the whole day! She was amazing. Her staff was attentive and professional and all very warm to my guests. And on top of all of that, the venue is breathtaking and the food IS AMAZING!!! Not to mention the prices were reasonable. I cannot laud them highly enough.You cannot do any better than Garibaldi's. When I started planning this wedding a decade ago I had no clue WHATT I was doing. Meghan at Garibaldi helped me through it allll. She was so glorious during the entire process. Garibaldi itself is stunning and delicious. The service was phenomenal. There were zero hiccups! I 100% recommend Garibaldi. We had our ceremony at Forsyth Park and our reception at Garibaldi's. We had searched several places for the reception, but they were either too big or too small. When we arrived at Garibaldi’s, it was mid afternoon and they were not open for dinner yet. Sean, the manager, was so kind to show us around anyway. When we walked up those stairs, words cannot express how impressed we were. The room was so beautiful and elegant! It was absolutely perfect!! So, we decided to eat dinner there just to try out the food before we committed. It was phenomenal!! We immediately booked Garibaldi's for our reception venue.
Since that day, over a year ago, everyone at Garibaldi's has far exceeded our expectations! Our wedding coordinator, Meghan Littlefield, was absolutely wonderful!!! This was a destination wedding for us as we live in Florida. I can’t tell you how many emails I sent asking for this or that and Meghan always got back to me in a timely manner, always accommodated my requests...no matter how small or elaborate they were. By the time the wedding rolled around, I knew everything would be perfect because we were in such good hands. Meghan even emailed me on a daily basis the week before giving me weather updates. She is AWESOME and the sweetest person!!! Love her!
Michael was the service manager the night of our wedding. Meghan made sure everything was set up perfectly and stayed until dinner was served. Michael took over from there. The food and service was wonderful! We had left our Champaign glasses that night and Michael “literally” ran three blocks to get them to us so we could celebrate after the reception. Truly unbelievable service!!!
We have eaten dinner at Garibaldi’s 6 times over the past year. Not only is the food excellent, but the staff is great and they always remember us. Savannah has a treasure with this restaurant!!! We will definitely be back soon!

Garibaldi is such a romantic atmosphere. Their ballroom upstairs takes your breath away, it's absolutely stunning. The service was so professional and so kind. The food is of course, incredible! Megan is the event coordinator and every time we spoke, she was so sweet and professional and made things so easy for us. Garibaldi is so flexible. They make set up and break down so easy for you. Megan helped to arrange our table decor, the staff took down everything and set it aside for us until the next day. They didn't charge extras for every little thing. While reminiscing this weekend about how much we loved our Labor Day 2016 wedding weekend in Savannah, I realized I had a very long overdue thank you to provide to Meghan and the rest of the staff at Garibaldi's. Andrew and I loved the ballroom as a venue for our 90 guests (about the right # if you want a large dance floor) and also were so thrilled with the food and service that were provided for our wedding. First, Meghan was so responsive to email after email and change after change that I obsessively labored over. I knew I was being crazy but would never have realized it from working with her - she was so patient and had great energy. She was so accommodating of all our little touches. The lavender twigs placed on the menu, the specific napkin fold so that we could tuck the menu in it...everything was perfect when we showed up for the reception. In addition, the staff that worked at the bar and the servers were so nice and hard working and attentive. Furthermore, the food was amazing. We had a mix of hors d oeuvres from the list Garibaldi's provided (get the raw bar) and also requested if we could have some Pinterest-inspired options. We were so impressed by the final product and also that the price was very reasonable and based on what the hors d oeuvres was, NOT that we wanted something special that wasn't on the list of suggested hors d oeuvres. The poached pear was the best salad I've ever had and the salmon, strip, and chicken were so good. So many people commented that it was not JUST some of the best wedding food they've had, but one of the best meals they've had. We were so happy with how the entire night went and would do it all over again with Garibaldi's if we got to! Garibaldi's Seafood on West Congress far surpassed our expectations. The ballroom is already beautiful, then they ensured that for our 100 person wedding we had a staff of 15, with 10 tables this meant that there were more than enough staff to tend to us and our guest. While we had a private bar, we never really saw it as the staff didn't miss a beat. We knew the food was good, but we were concerned about them serving such a large party, they knocked this one out of the ballpark. My family is from Texas and is still raving that the steak at our wedding was the best they ever had. We chose 3 menu options and they had menu's printed up. It was great that our guest could decide once they sat down to dinner what the would like to choose, from the soup or salad, to the New York Strip steak (which was about 12 oz.), to the Chicken au Pouvre to the Blue Crab stuffed shrimp. And although they couldn't take the dessert option out of the pricing they were very helpful in going with our request to instead of dessert bringing out appetizers later in the evening. This is a great venue to hold a wedding especially in historic Savannah, they were amazing during the entire process.Garibaldi's Seafood on West Congress far surpassed our expectations. It was great that our guest could decide once they sat down to dinner what the would like to choose, from the soup or salad, to the New York Strip steak (which was about 12 oz.), to the Chicken au Pouvre to the Blue Crab stuffed shrimp. And although they couldn't take the dessert option out of the pricing they were very helpful in going with our request to instead of dessert bringing out appetizers later in the evening. This is a great venue to hold a wedding especially in historic Savannah, they were amazing during the entire process. -

We rented the upstairs of the restaurant for our reception and it was beautiful. The room itself is gorgeous and the wait staff and management were very professional. We had 64 guests which was perfect for this room (the room itself can seat 120) as we still had enough space for a spacious dance floor. Garibaldi's has a menu choice for every budget and the food was amazing! We didn't have to worry about renting tables, chairs, etc and there was no room rental fee, we just had to spend at least $4000 before tax and tip. This is a fantastic restaurant, most of our guest left saying it was the best wedding they had been to. We had the reception for my daughter's wedding at Garibaldi's in Savannah. It was fantastic. The food was wonderful, the staff extremely professional and polite. Their banquet rooms is lovely, especially at night. We had a destination wedding in Savannah in July and held our reception for 75 people at Garibaldi's. Garibaldi's is a magnificant venue for a wedding reception. The building is beautiful and historic, everything we wanted out of Savannah. I was so excited when I walked into the building for the first time - it was stunning.
During the planning process, the coordinator we worked with at the restaurant was sometimes slow to respond and our wedding coordinator would have to step in and get some answers for us. However, we had no issues when we arrived in Savannah. The staff was very accommodating. The room was set up exactly as we requested. The wait staff was wonderful on the day of the wedding and the manager, Matt, was wonderful. Everything ran very smoothly.
The food was perfect. We had passed appetizers and a cheese and fruit table during our cocktail hour. The wait staff even made sure to save some of the appetizers for us when we joined the guests after our photography session. Guests ordered dinner and dessert from a prepared menu. Our guests could not stop talking about the Crispy Flounder and New York Strip.

We had a Catholic wedding ceremony at our local church that began at 7:30 pm so we needed a reception venue that could do a nice heavy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and dancing reception starting late in the evening (around 8:30pm). It was important to us that we have a good location downtown so guests could walk back to their hotels or take a short cab ride, and we also wanted good food, good alcohol, good music. Garibaldi delivered in all areas. The food was excellent (we had a "stations" menu with pasta station, meat carving station, salad station...but other options are available....as well as passed hors d'oeuvres upon arrival). The food was sufficient to make a meal for most appetites. The only disappointment was that they ran out of some of the select beers. We had the option of requesting certain beers be stocked for the event, but we didn't anticipate the need. We miscalculated that many of our guests would have beer palates similar to our own, so in retrospect we should have made some specific requests. This was our own fault, not that of Garibaldi.
We understand from our wedding planner that dealing with managment in getting things set up initially is a little bit difficult because they can be slow to respond at times; however, the end result is worth it. I am thankful we had a planner to handle that part. This was such a wonderful find! Both my ceremony and reception were held here and it was more than I could have hoped for! I think I was very naive when beginning to plan our wedding, I had no idea how far in advance people planned their event. We were trying to find a venue for our December wedding (finding an indoor venue is harder than one would think!) our date was firm due to my then fiancé' s vacation with the airline (he's a pilot). We came to Savannah from out of town and had plans to visit 3 venues, but by the time we arrived on Wednesday every was booked except Garibaldi's. I thought I was going to have to settle, but when I walked in I knew that was going to be the case. The upstairs was absolute beautiful. Bianca and Paige were wonderful. Although we only worked with them a short time due to the previous planner leaving, I felt like they had been there the whole time. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were! I've been to weddings that cost more than double of what we paid, that weren't even close to how wonderful it was!(I may be a little biased though)! Garabaldi's was beautiful and the food was good. Unfortunatley everything was ruined due to the eventy coordinater, Siri. They overcharged us 900 dollars. We specifically said we wanted the 6.50 drinks servedbut only but they served all higher priced drinks to run up our bar tab. We were told the babies would eat free but were charges 100 per baby. Also during our first dance they started moving the head table which was right in front of the dance floor and NO ONE could see us dance. Someone yelled at the waitor so they finally stopped moving it. The food came out all at different times. All and all HORRIBLE managment. HORRIBLE event planner.
