Wonderful experience!
My daughter’s late August wedding was just a week ago, and I can’t say enough about Florals by Adena and the absolutely gorgeous florals Adena designed and delivered for my daughter’s special day. Engage this woman and her team: You will be thrilled with the result! I found Adena online when a meeting with another floral designer was disappointing as the proposal was pretty “cookie cutter”. My daughter had a vision of a “gardenesque” wedding – lots of greenery with a sort of classic English garden vibe but didn’t have a lot of specifics in mind. We met with Adena and she just “got” the bride immediately. Her proposal was detailed and professional, and she struck the right balance between coaxing out my daughter’s vision while providing her own professional opinions and suggestions. Adena focuses on the natural. She has a sustainable approach and uses flowers that are in season. She even grows many of her own. Since the bride and groom are environmentally conscious, this approach was just icing on the cake. The entire process from proposal to contract to communication throughout my daughter’s engagement was seamless and top notch.
On the day of the wedding, I couldn’t believe how enchanting everything was. The bridesmaid bouquets were hand-tied and looked like someone wandered around and picked the most beautiful seasonal flowers you could find in a top-notch cutting garden. Same with the gorgeous bridal bouquet, corsages, and the boutonnieres. At the outdoor ceremony, in addition to lovely aisle pieces, Adena individually tied flowers and greenery to a wooden structure in such a way that they looked like they were growing there. The reception centerpieces looked almost like they were growing out of the center of the table with different roses and wildflowers and greenery presented in a fanciful way. Each was unique. Nothing but oohs and ahs from all the guests on the flowers, which were scattered throughout the venue, on the cake, etc.
Finally, Adena and her team delivered the flowers promptly on the wedding day, and the design set-up all ran incredibly smoothly. I didn’t worry about anything because Adena is such a consummate professional and engenders the utmost confidence. When she swept in with the personal flowers she was all smiles and so energetic! You could just feel she was genuinely happy for the bride.
I highly, highly recommend Adena and her team if you are looking for something just a little different but with a natural, “as far as you can get from artificial”, feel. What a wonderful experience! Worth every penny.

Absolutely stunning. A must!
I knew hiring Adena to create our floral arrangements for our wedding celebration was the right call, however I was still completely blown away by the attention to detail and creativity she put into each and every arrangement. The colors were spot on. It was whimsical, bright, and perfect for our special day. I gave her just a few ideas of what we wanted and told her I trusted her art completely. She nailed it!
I would absolutely recommend working with Adena for any event you may have approaching. She is easy to work with, so down to earth, and totally prioritizes making your floral dreams come to life! -

Florals by Adena was by far the best investment during our wedding planning process. Adena knew how to turn our ideas into a proper vision, and consulted with us every step of the way. She delivered BEYOND our expectations. Friends and family who attended, as well as acquaintances who have seen pictures cannot stop commenting on how stunning our florals were. The florals Adena provided for us on our wedding day were not only stunning, but will forever be remembered by us. -

Amazing work!!
I can’t say more amazing things about Adena!!! She is patient, talented and so creative. Wedding florals were a big deal to me because I wanted to bring in color to our venue and Adena did just that. She was patient with me when I changed my color scheme 5 times and put together a detailed proposal showing me my vision with inspiration photos each time I change my mind to confirm we were on the same page. Also, my guests were raving about the table scapes, she brought to much dimension to the room.
After my wedding I had no intention of preserving my bridal bouquet but after seeing it the day of my wedding, I changed my mind because it was so beautiful I wanted to have it forever!! If you have an opportunity to work with Adena I would highly recommend.

Coming into the wedding planning process, I felt a little lost. I didn’t have a clear vision of what I wanted especially for florals. I spoke with a few florist but Adena’s proposal blew me away. Throughout the whole process, she made it so easy. It was a joy to work with her and have our vision come to life. For my wedding day, she was able to create a whimsical, garden party of my dreams. She even made our dog, Theo, a floral collar for photos. I lost track of how many comments I received on the florals. Her style is truly unique and STUNNING. I will absolutely be working with Adena again for any of my floral needs! -

Can't recommend Adena enough!! I feel so lucky to have found her! She truly made my vision come to life. I honestly had no idea where to start and felt so overwhelmed by the process. She made it so easy from our first consultation. She tried to work within my budget and kept it in mind, always offering suggestions on where we could scale back if needed. It was so appreciated! Multiple guests came up to me at my wedding just to comment on how gorgeous the flowers were. I have not been able to find any florist around here that matches her aesthetic plus she tries to support local growers and buys as much as she can locally. Love that! -

11/10 I am truly blown away!! Adena has such an eye for design. Everything came out more beautiful than I my Pinterest board. Adena truly made our wedding day unforgettable, she captured my vision to a T. From my stunning bridal bouquet to the centerpieces, every detail was perfection. She went above and beyond to bring our vision to life, and her professionalism and expertise made the entire process seamless. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the beautiful blooms. Thank you, Adena, for adding such beauty and romance to our special day. We couldn't have asked for anything more! -

The best experience!
If you’ve come across Adena, no need to look any further, you’ve found your florist! My husband and I had the opportunity to work with Adena for our July 2023 wedding and we strongly recommend Adena for your floral needs without reservations! Not only did our wedding florals turn out to be even more magical than we could have ever imagined, the process of working with Adena was seamless and we really felt heard and taken care of.
Adena listened to what we envisioned, and helped us articulate it further by providing visuals in her proposal, asking questions at our consultation meetings, and listening to our reactions during the mock up! On the wedding day, it seemed as if she had pulled the wedding flowers I had always dreamed of straight out of my imagination! We obviously were obsessed with our florals, AND we received so many compliments from our guests about the beauty and uniqueness of the ceremony statement pieces, the bouquets, and the reception table florals!
Practically speaking, she was a dream to work with. She was responsive and prompt, shared different options and helped us think through how each would work with our budget and overall vision, and was proactive and collaborated well with other vendors to help ensure that her team could be prepared to execute on the wedding day. This all gave me a lot of peace of mind.
Lastly, after the mock up and the wedding day, Adena had put together floral arrangements for us to bring home. It was truly a special touch and a beautiful reminder of our special day for the days to follow.
All to say, we strongly recommend Adena to help you bring your floral needs to life! Couldn’t recommend her more! -

Florals by Adena was the perfect florist vendor for my husband and I. We stumbled upon Adena through a recommendation from a florist we first reached out to who already had a wedding scheduled for our date, and we couldn't be happier with how it all unfolded. Adena was nothing short of professional, calm, and creative throughout the entire wedding planning process, and made the big day simply magical while taking away any possibility of stress related to the florals. She is a truly kind, thoughtful individual who was a pleasure to work with.
It can be daunting to know what you're looking for when setting out to find wedding vendors unless you've worked in event planning yourself. Adena helped my husband and I articulate our vision with ease, and made herself available for Zoom consultations, along with providing us with a full vision board and table with ideas for each arrangement. This went above and beyond the majority of the other florists we had consultations with, and truly satisfied my type A personality. Adena understood our desire to use in-season flowers, and was wonderful about asking clarifying questions along the way to ensure we got what we wanted (and didn't see flowers we didn't want!). She even assisted us in sourcing tapered candles that pulled our tables cape together, and found the exact candleholders that I wanted when I was hesitant about the style of the ones she already had herself.
I still remember the pure joy I felt when she popped into the bridal suite to show me my bouquet--it was one of the highlights of my wedding morning. I would highly recommend Florals by Adena to anyone who is getting married in the Bay Area or Napa Valley. She will bring your big day to life! -

Working with Adena was fabulous. I was looking for a florist to bring my vision for my wedding to life and I found Adena on Instagram and loved the arrangements she made. After meeting with her for a consultation I knew she was the florist to bring my flower dreams to life. Adena was so patient and responsive throughout the entire process and worked closely with my mom and I to decide what arrangements made sense for our Persian wedding. She worked so hard to get us the flowers we wanted in our color palette (despite there being a shortage of flowers on the market!) and she created the most stunning arrangements and centerpieces for our wedding. I was such a joy working with Adena and I know I'll be hiring her again the future for any events. She's a pro, so sweet, and really listens to her clients and does what she can for them!!! -

Adena was a joy to work with - incredibly responsive, flexible as my needs changed, and extremely reliable. She was recommended by our photographer and they worked well together. She curated florals for my bridal shower as well as my wedding ceremony. Very professional: Even though she had traveled to both locations, she was early and prepared, even sticking around after the shower to bundle flowers up for guests to take home. She provided fresh blooms and beautifully added them to our single-tier wedding cake and came prepared with extra florals to aid the photographers in their photos. The arrangements were fresh, whimsical, and beautifully balanced - exactly what I was looking for and so much more! I can’t wait to have a reason to work with Adena in the future! Adena is such a sweet heart and has a true creative eye for floral arrangements. She was super kind and accommodating from the very first interaction and made sure that she completely understood the colors and theme we were going for.
I even had a little moment where I was concerned one of the flower colors was off but she was very quick to show me example arrangements and photos of the actual arrangements as she was creating them and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. Too be honest it turned out to be way more stunning than I could imagine and my guests are STILL talking about how beautiful they were. We had take home bud arrangements for the guests to take home off the table as a guest gift and there wasn’t a single one left on the tables at the end of the evening. Truly magical. -

Adena did the flowers for our December COVID wedding: a bridal bouquet, boutonnière, and two arrangements for our table. They were so beautiful (see pictures!) and really made the day feel special and memorable. Our photographer liked them so much she asked to us to connect her to Adena so she can recommend her in future. We especially appreciated that she asked us for inspiration (and translated one photo from Pinterest into something just right for the occasion) and that she delivered the flowers exactly on time (driving out of her way to a second location to deliver to bride and groom separately). We highly recommend working with Adena if you need personal, beautiful flowers. -

Incredible
Let me tell you… having a wedding during a global pandemic wasn’t easy… I had to change a lot of things! I came across Adena through Instagram. I wasn’t really crazy about planning my micro wedding because I was so busy at work, but Adena was so helpful. I sent her 2-3 inspo pictures during our first email meeting and she took care of the rest and exceeded my expectation! -
