Words can't express how incredibly grateful we are to have had Garden in the Pines as our florist for our wedding at the Bay Head Yacht Club.
From our very first call, I knew I had to work with Alyssa. She is incredibly sweet and knowledgable, she really helped form my tastes into a clear vision that she executed PERFECTLY on the wedding day. Every single detail was nailed - she is so responsive, kind, and most of all TALENTED. She knows what she is doing and I really believe hiring her for our wedding was one of - if not THE best decision we made.
My bridesmaids, guests, family, friends - everyone kept commenting on how gorgeous the flowers were. The full ballroom was transformed with her beautiful garland down the head table and centerpieces. There was such continuity across every part of the wedding - gosh I could go on and on!!!
All I will say is... I know how stressful as a bride it can be to choose the right vendors. I actually had put a deposit down with a florist that was pushy and then cancelled them because I wanted someone who would listen, make me feel comfortable, and that I could trust. I honestly can’t rate GITP any more highly. Your search for a florist should absolutely stop here, CHOOSE GARDEN IN THE PINES! -

Garden in the Pines did the flowers for my wedding and they came out great! Alyssa was always available during the entire process and on my wedding day they delivered the flowers to my hotel. It was a great experience and the flowers were really beautiful!

The absolute best!!
I’m so serious when I say this — stop stressing and just book them!!!! We got married in august at Park Loft in Oceanport NJ - Alyssa & the whole team at garden in the pines made the entire floral experience a dream from start to finish. We had a general idea of what we wanted and they took it and ran with it in the best way possible. The proposal they made included reference photos, descriptions, and all the pricing info laid out in such an organized way — this alone set them apart from other florists. If you have no idea what you want, or if you know exactly what you want, they will execute it better than you can imagine! They also incorporated all of our specific favorite flowers, which made everything feel even more personalized and special. Seeing the bouquets, ceremony florals, reception tables, boutonnières and seeing how they repurposed everything genuinely had my jaw dropped and gushing with my husband about everything. We are so thankful for you guys, thank you Alyssa & team!!! 💞🌼 -

We worked with Garden in the Pines for our 11/9/24 wedding at The Asbury Hotel, and could not recommend them more. From the initial consultation with Alyssa, I knew that I wanted Garden in the Pines to be the florist for our wedding. I came in knowing that I wanted my flowers to create a timeless, classic and romantic atmosphere - mainly white with a pop of fall color, and Alyssa ran with it. From curating a mood board and walking through different candles, greenery, etc. that would enhance the vision, she is so knowledgeable, and is a pleasure to work with!

Wedding floral of my dreams
everyone was talking about the florals alllllll night AND every day since!!!!
Alyssa, the ceremony set up was unreal. not only did you do everything I asked for, you did SO much more. the cocktail hour, the dance hall- it was all absolutely perfect. you exceeded my expectations. I can never thank you enough. MY FRIEND FOR LIFE NOW!! thank you thank you thank you thank you x a million!!!!! -

Alyssa from Garden in the Pines went above and beyond for our wedding. Not only did she set up a full presentation to get a feel for her offerings from the start, but she met with us multiple times throughout the planning process to be sure we were on the same page with the florals. Alyssa understood the vision we were going for and ran with it to create a unique and beautiful aesthetic that really helped capture the beachy vibe of our wedding in Avalon. To top it all off, she included preserving my bouquet to create ornaments for our relatives in the package. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, easy to work with, and extremely talented floral designer. -

Dreamy wedding flowers
Garden in the Pines absolutely nailed it for floral design for our wedding. Having a small budget for florals, we chose the a la carte option for bridal party florals and our ceremony decor only. Even before booking, Alyssa hopped on a phone call with us to chat details and walk us through the process. Immediately my husband and I were impressed by her professionalism and responsiveness. By the time wedding day rolled around she was able to capture my exact vision for my bridal bouquet and the other florals we asked for with the help of local floral vendors and her team of florists. Highly highly recommend, Garden in the Pines! -

With endless stressors that come along with planning a wedding, especially from out of state, I was beginning to feel like my florist would also be one of them. But during my search, what stood out to me about Garden in the Pines was the emphasis on communication and being available. From the first conversation with Alyssa, we just felt so at ease.. She listened to our needs and concerns, and was so warm, calming, and reassuring — Which was greatly needed! I really struggled with decisions and trying to figure out what I wanted, and she was fabulous at explaining details and giving options based around my preferences. Our “arch” (not sure if it’s still considered an arch if it’s a circle) came out GORGEOUS, the bouquets, the boutonnières, the centerpieces.. Alyssa clearly puts her whole entire heart into her work, and she was so thoughtful to surprise me with also wrapping some of the leftover ribbons made from my dress around my Mom’s memorial bouquet. Hands down, Alyssa was one of the easiest vendors to work with, and I would choose her again and again! -

The easiest part of wedding planning
Working with Garden in the Pines was such a pleasure and one of the easiest parts of planning our wedding. Communication was always timely and so friendly. The multiple planning and detail meetings helped me feel confident Garden in the Pines would bring my vision to life and they absolutely did. Everything was gorgeous and better than I could have imagined. Excellent vendor!
Alyssa & Garden in The Pines was my most FAVORITE vendor to work with while planning my wedding. Her timely responses, constant reassurance & ideas/knowledge made me more relaxed during my super stressful/hectic wedding planning! I would recommend Garden in the Pines to ANYONE! She created my bouquets almost exactly like I asked.. she created the most romantic setting for my reception like I asked with candelabras as center pieces and candles galore ! My sweetheart table had BEAUTIFUL large florals with the exact colors I wanted. She even gave me extra flowers for my cake! At the church she made beautiful smaller arrangements for the pews. I couldn’t say enough about Alyssa! She was a delight to work with! -

Alyssa was excellent throughout the entire process from suggesting beautiful florals based on our vision to executing exactly what we wanted for our special day! I am so incredibly thankful!
I am incredibly thankful I choose Garden in the Pines as my florist for my wedding day! I wanted my bouquet to look good in photos. But I wanted to include some sentimental flowers and was worried how they would look together. Alyssa brought my ideas to life beautifully! Her easy to navigate website, messaging system, mock ups and zoom meeting made the planning process easy and fun! Plus she was willing to make changes along the way and help suggest creative solutions. The flowers she provided were beautiful and the experience was amazing. She quickly became one of my favorite vendors and I fell in love with the bouquets she provided. I highly recommend.

I had been following Garden in the Pines' beautiful work on Instagram for many months before I was even in wedding planning stages. My husband and I were engaged just a few months before COVID hit. After over a year and a half engaged, we no longer wanted to wait. I reached out to Garden in the Pines and they were able to help make our 1920s/Great Gatsby wedding dreams come true with just a few months until the big day. They were incredibly responsive with an easy-to-navigate online system, complete with a detailed survey that inquires about wedding theme, color palate, etc. I was able to verbalize my wishes and Garden in the Pines brought those wishes to life after just one virtual consultation! My husband and I were able to achieve our micro-wedding on a budget with their reasonable prices and the arrangements were gorgeous. They even delivered my bridal bouquet, corsages, and boutonnieres right to my home the morning of our big day. They even offered casting some of these flowers in resin so that we could preserve these memories! Garden in the Pines offers a truly personalized and genuine experience. They are not only florists; they have become friends! -

Floral goals achieved!
Where to begin? From the first call I knew I didn’t have a single thing to worry about as far as my florals and the important role I wanted them to play in merging my vibe with my mismatched bridesmaids dresses and experience I wanted to create. Alyssa knows her stuff and she cares so deeply about what I wanted. She made my crazy idea into a beautiful moody and edgy space, everything I wanted. Oh and she kept surprising us along the way - she is fabulous! Highly recommend. She goes above and beyond - let’s just say when I wanted to add driftwood to my florals soon there was an Instagram post of her partner finding NJs finest driftwood! An amazing couple / so happy with everything and can’t wait to get to see how she preserved my beyond gorgeous wedding bouquet!!!! A+!! -

The best!!
There is no place around like Garden in the Pines! Alyssa worked my beach themed bridal shower. She’s the only person I know who can make center pieces and an arch of flowers look beachy! Her style is very unique and she caters to the specific details of every party or event. 10/10 would recommend for any floral needs you may have! -
