Creative, helpful and flexible

Lauren met with me to understand my vision and beyond exceeded my expectations. She was more than a florist and was so flexible with making my DIY wedding so beautiful. The communication was great and it was affordable! I would highly recommend!

So much more than a florist

I had 2 1/2 months to plan my wedding. As overwhelming as that seemed, I knew with the right vendors I could do it -- and one vendor, Garden Gate Florals, took it beyond just the possible and made it more than I could have imagined. Lauren at Garden Gate Florals met with me, listened to what I had in mind (with my limited knowledge of wedding florals!) and then filled in the blanks and dreamed the rest with me until it was perfect. She listened to my budget and didn't push me further than I could go. She used my budget to meet every need and exceeded it. In our first meeting, we walked through the whole ceremony, cocktail time, and reception to make sure nothing was missed. She has extensive knowledge to know what is needed and became far more than a florist. She dreamed out the whole day with me and made sure no stone was unturned. She asked valuable questions about things I didn't even know to think about. We then met a second time so that Lauren could show me the flowers she planned to use and vision for the bouquets, and to again go over the details. She was very responsive if questions arose and contacted me for my thoughts/opinions as she made decisions. I was getting a little stressed about the wedding by the time we met again, but she gave me great peace in our meeting and I knew that I had chosen the perfect person to be part of my wedding day. On the day of, Lauren provided THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS AND ARRANGEMENTS I had ever seen at a wedding -- and they were at MY WEDDING! They were so far beyond just the normal bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces. Her arrangements were so well thought out, perfectly put together with care and thoughtfulness. She was where she needed to be and had everything ready for me when I arrived. Lauren was that second set of eyes on everything for me. She even ended up being the person who held the door for me to walk down the aisle. There were plenty of mishaps that happened through the day -- as with any wedding -- but not one of them was with Lauren or the flowers, and every mishap became better because of Lauren's presence and care. Bonus: now I have the most beautiful flowers in all of my wedding pictures. I couldn't have asked for more. I have so much gratitude to Lauren and Garden Gate Florals for going above and beyond. I cannot recommend them enough.

Lauren at Garden Gate Florals designed several things for my wedding in July 2018, including the bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, two tall arrangements in pilsner vases, a sweetheart table garland, and cake flowers. They were all BEAUTIFUL! She truly knows her flowers and has a special eye for design. I was probably not the easiest person to consult with in the sense that I know nothing about flowers and didn't give her much to go off of... however, Lauren was still able to bring my vision to life and create pieces that were better than I could have ever envisioned myself. Plus, she is so kind and truly cares! Thanks for helping to make our day so special!!!

Everything about Garden Gate Florals was above and beyond all our expectations. I honestly have zero complaints. Lauren was amazing and so hard working, I had a beautiful giant flower arch and many center pieces and a few other things as well. She gave me the best price possible and everything was beautiful! I wanted some things that were complicated and not once did she says no, she stayed up late and worked hard to figure out how it could be done. I would definitely use Garden Gate Florals again without a question! I am still getting compliments on how beautiful the flowers were at my wedding! Overall I am super happy and thankful for everything they did for us!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Garden Gate Florals. Lauren was absolutely wonderful to work with from design ideas to execution on wedding day. I gave her my budget and color scheme, and she blew me (and all of our guests) away with exquisite beauty. I was so in love and am still swooning over every bouquet and arrangement she designed. Lauren will help make your visions become a reality. We met with her, with an idea of what our floral arrangements were going to look like and it all turned out better than we had hoped for! From my bouquet, the trellis piece and even the guys’ boutineers, it all flowed so well together and it was just the final touch we needed to make everything perfect on our wedding day.

We had specific color requirements and thoughts on flowers that we wanted. Lauren with Garden Gate Floral worked very closely with us to deliver exactly what we hoped for. She was very helpful throughout the process. On our wedding day, she arrived early to deliver the flowers. The bouquets and boutonnieres were exquisite and exactly what we had envisionioned. I wanted to do something different with my wedding. I wanted fall arrangements instead of the normal wedding colors. I was very specific about what I wanted and then she took my ideas even farther and made it more artistic than I could’ve imagined. It was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I’m so happy that I chose garden gate florals For my wedding!

I only had one inspiration picture for my wedding flowers. Lauren took the idea and my personal style and turned it into a beautiful reality. She was super reasonably priced and easy to work with. I would use her again and recommended her to friends.

Lauren was so great throughout the whole process. I know very little about flowers, but I didn't need to because Lauren knew just what I wanted after a brief meeting. It was great and every little detail was perfect! I would recommend Garden Gate Florals to anyone!

I had many referrals to Garden Gate Floral and now after working with Lauren, I know exactly why they were so pleased! Garden Gate was FANTASTIC and I would choose Lauren over and over again! She was super sweet, easy to work with and I would say the best aspect was her level of communication! She was consistent with her response timing and always available to ask questions, recommendations and any help I needed! As a bride, I was very particular in the image I wanted for my dream wedding and Lauren hit every idea I had right on the head!! Everything turned out beautifully and it was PERFECT!! Lauren is amazing. My family has used her for both my wedding, my sister's, as well as several friends, and she never disappoints. What I love most about Lauren is she is not afraid to share her opinion with you! Any questions you have about what may or may not look good or should I do this or that, Lauren will give you an honest opinion and I promise you that your wedding day will be the better for it! Lauren is amazing at what she does! I went into wedding flowers not knowing what I wanted at all. I first thought about calla lilies and nothing else. Lauren took me to a floral wholesaler so I could actually see what they would end up looking like. I didn't love them like I thought I would. She helped figure out a new plan. She even helped me by pinning flower/bouquet ideas to my Pinterest board. Lauren really understands flowers! The way the move, their attitudes, durability, complementary colors, etc. I found some inspiration for her that was full of fall colors and she more than delivered! They were unique, beautiful and exactly what I wanted! I had a hard time expressing what I wanted, but she figured me out quickly and I loved my flowers. My hair and makeup team said they had never seen bouquets like mine before! We were all so impressed. She will calm your fears, deliver exactly what you discuss, and help guide you through the process. I highly recommend Lauren and her team at Garden Gate Florals! -Nicole

We had a literary theme with vintage elements. Lauren's creativity allowed the floral to complement the centerpieces perfectly. I was very happy with the bouquets; I gave her very little direction but got just what I wanted.

Lauren made the flowers of my dreams within my budget. The only request I had was white and green for all my flowers and the extra details Lauren put into my bouquet and table arrangements were more then I could have imagined. I loved working with Lauren from Garden Gate Florals she was amazing. I went into my initial meeting with her knowing very little about flowers and what I wanted. She listened to what I told her I envisioned and delivered! She created the most beautiful bridal bouquet for me it was better than I could imagine! Lauren was an absolutely wonderful vendor to work with. My mother and I enjoyed our meetings with her and she was always open to our ideas and came up with ways to get my vision but also stay in my budget. We booked her early on in the wedding process and she was very open to any minor tweak I would want to make. She always made me feel so comfortable and I fully trusted her with the floral design for the wedding. I could not have been happier with the bouquets, boutonnieres, wristlets, and centerpieces. My bouquet was definitely my favorite piece and the stems were beautifully wrapped with a piece from my mother's wedding dress. Lauren has daughters who are married so she understood the dynamic between my mom and I and was so helpful! I could not recommend her more highly!

Lauren was such a blessing to work with! Her designs are BEAUTIFUL and I was blown away when she presented our bouquets the morning of the wedding. She is refreshingly honest about what flowers will be in season and works with you to create something that is gorgeous. She works with you by creating a Pinterest board to share ideas, encouraging you to pick flowers and then uses her experience and talent to put it all together. Don't waste your time searching for other florists, contact her today.

I loved my flowers. Loved them!! and honestly looking back I wished I had done more flowers. All of that was because of Lauren. I met with several florists and after meeting with Lauren and seeing her work I knew she was the one for me. She asked the right questions and made sure that I felt comfortable. On top of that her prices were fair. I met with one florist that wanted to charge twice as much for the same thing. She was on time, easy to reach and got back to me quickly. I can't thank her enough for making my wedding day pop with an array of beautiful flowers.

Oh my gosh--where do I start? Lauren did such an amazing job with our flowers and made our wedding day SO PERFECT. I knew next to nothing about flowers when I first met with Lauren--just that I wanted sunflowers and a rustic, wildflower look for the bouquets and centerpieces. She understood my vision immediately. After our initial meeting, she put together an online gallery of flowers so that I could sit down with my fiancé and figure out what we liked and didn't like, which made it really easy. When the wedding day arrived, I was completely blown away by her work! The bouquets were stunning, and she really went above and beyond to transform the WP Farmers Market on our rather limited budget. She truly is a talented artist and is so sweet to work with--I can't recommend her enough!

As out-of-state customers, we couldn’t have been happier with Lauren as our florist for our wedding. We were anxious about arranging flowers from afar, but Lauren was very personable and really took the time to understand our rather unique vision. She shared pictures with us online, discussed options in detail, gave her professional input, and met with us willingly when we were able to be in town. She consistently went above and beyond, even up to the final days before the wedding -- visiting the bridal shop to see the colors in person, and sending pictures of more options as they became available or that she recommended. Lauren was pleasant, highly professional and responsive. Perhaps best of all, wow! the flower arrangements exceeded our expectations – they were truly exquisite. Lauren is both the owner and designer for Garden Gate Florals and she is fantastic! Lauren did a really great job listening to my vision for our wedding flowers as well as communicating her own expertise. She was very personable and met with me several times throughout the process to ensure that I was comfortable with the flowers to be presented and to ensure that nothing had changed. When adjustments to the order were made she was extremely accommodating and made me feel at ease that everything would go off without a hitch! She even delivered the flowers to my door per my request!! I would definitely recommend her services :)

Lauren at Garden Gate Florals was a joy to work with! From our first meeting, she seemed to grasp my vision immediately! She asked my opinions and thoughts on what I wanted, but since I tend to be a bit indecisive, she quickly realized that we worked best together when she made specific suggestions and asked how I liked them. I was so grateful that she understood my needs so well! She was unbelievably flexible and willing to help us save money where we could. She even offered to let us paint some curly willow silver ourselves in order to save on labor costs. When I had to amend our contract slightly due to restrictions at the church, she offered several solutions and amended the contract without any issue.

While everything that Lauren did was beautiful, the highlights were definitely the tall centerpieces at the reception and the bouquets (mine plus 8 bridesmaids!). They were absolutely stunning - unique yet classic. I had a bit of a different color pallete (light pink, grey, silver, and ivory), and she tied everything together perfectly. The flowers were more beautiful than I ever imagined, and I already imagined that they would be amazing!

Lauren at Garden Gate Florals is a true artist. She takes such pride in her work, and that is evident from the very first consultation. I wholeheartedly recommend her.

For my wedding on January 4, 2014, I used Wedding Wire to research a florist. I met with Lauren from Garden Gate Florals and knew immediately that she was the right one to be my wedding florist. Lauren was very friendly and immediately made me feel at ease. I had worried about a florist being able to meet my budget but Lauren assured me that she would work within my budget without a problem. Lauren works out of her home which cuts down on overhead so she is able to work with you to get the best possible flowers for your budget. Lauren kept in contact with me by phone, email, and text and always responded the same day whenever I had a question. She was so nice and helpful and has an amazing eye for colors and flowers. I gave her some photos and she and I talked at length about all of the arrangements and bouquets. The finishing product was breathtaking. I cannot believe she was able to make everything so amazing and beautiful!!!! I received so many compliments from my guests and my vendors on the amazing flowers. The bouquets were amazing!!!! She matched the purples of my wedding party and brought out the depth of the purple while adding greens and differing shades of purple. The end result was perfection!!! I really feel so fortunate that I was able to find such a nice and sweet person who was so helpful and responsive who also designed such amazing bouquets and arrangements! I gave her some materials to cut down on costs and she was able to design this amazing arch for the ceremony with romantic curtains and lovely purple flowers. It was exactly what I was looking for! She was able to take the picture I had in my head and make it into a reality plus make it better than I could have imagined! I would recommend Lauren and Garden Gate Florals for any time I would need flowers. She completely understood the romantic look I wanted and made it happen so perfectly for my wedding. She is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Garden Gate Florals. The service was precise and outstanding! I specifically recall gazing out on all the tables during my wedding reception and thinking that all the centerpieces, floral arrangements, and other elements taken care of by Garden Gate Florals was even BETTER than I could've envisioned. Lauren was a pleasure to work with. She was very thorough and detailed, which allowed me to be confident that she knew exactly what I wanted and delivered no less than what we had discussed in our prior meetings together. Anytime I needed to contact or meet with Lauren or her staff, she was prompt in her responses and flexible to accommodate my schedule. Lastly but importantly, for brides on a budget, you will not find a better vendor than Garden Gate Florals! I worked on my floral budget with Lauren, and we revised my contract a few different times until it was the perfect balance of what I could afford while maintaining the design elements that I truly desired for my wedding. We used Garden Gate Florals for our wedding July 6th and everything was absolutely perfect! I had a particular vision in mind but didn't know how to articulate it, Lauren listened to me and worked with me to make my dream a reality and everything was even more beautiful than I could have imagined! We signed with Lauren after meeting with a few Orlando florists. She was the most down-to-earth, direct, flexible, and nice! She listened to dozens of e-mails as we worked out the best vision and was very flexible within our budget. She worked using custom DIY boxes from us. And despite all our very specific conversations, she managed to surprise me with a beautiful bouquet with all sorts of special blooms! Everything even held up great after the wedding so we were able to enjoy the boxes for over a week. She was incredibly patient with my unusual vision and I think we ended up with something perfect. I loved her work with The NotWedding but I think my wedding turned out even better!

Lauren's designs are incredible and she truly took the vision of our Bride and brought it to life. We had unique designs to go with our outdoor wedding and the flower arrangements in the boxes were beautiful and fragrant! Lauren also incorporated a huge amount of milk glass that the Bride collected and incorporated it into the Brides vision. Our bouquets, spray, and corsages were quite beautiful and unique too. She added touches of decor elements that we were also using in the wedding design into the florals. Details truly can make the beauty of a wedding and Lauren has an eye for these. Our Wedding was November 3rd, 2007 and Garden Gate Floral did our flowers. This was a second marriage for me and my husband Greg and we were in our late 40's and early 50's at the time. I didn't have a wedding to speak of in my first marriage and my husband wanted me to have my special day. We were blending two families, everything had to be perfect, simple, elegant, mature and most importantly full of hope for our blended families to love and grow as one.

It's amazing to me how the details can way you down. Lauren of Garden Gate Floral understood. It was her desire to serve my vision and uncomplicate my day. She was a professional with a big heart. My flowers were simple but very elegant. She knew just what to do to represent our vision and stage of life.

She is more than a fabulous floral designer, she LOVES what she does and it reflects in her work.
