Marc & Gia was wonderful to work with! We did our wedding in the mountains of Lake Tahoe and they perfectly picked the best spots where the light shined. They were easy to communicate with before the day of and throughout the process. Their work is truly art, it’s absolutely stunning and they did not disappoint with our photos and videos. Marc & Gia can read each other’s mind and they are great at directing and posing us and they made it feel so natural. I cannot recommend them enough, though their work speaks for itself! -

Marc and Gia were so professional throughout the process. We were originally getting married in 2021 but rescheduled to 2022 due to Covid and they were able to accommodate the new date.
We hired Gala for both wedding photography and videography. We reached out to several different vendors but decided on Gala due to the quality photos and videos they shared from past weddings.
They were very easy to work with, providing good direction for posting to us and our bridal party. We had a great variety of amazing shots and the videos were amazing!
Prior to and during the wedding day they also had great suggestions as far as the wedding timeline to help things keep flowing, it was highly appreciated.
Unfortunately, we did not get getting ready photos/video as they were in a car accident on their way to our getting ready location, but that was totally out of their control and I do not hold that against them. They were actually heading to the location early to scope out the site for good shots. I’m grateful that they were ok, and despite being in a scary accident they carried on and shot the rest of they day like nothing happened. Additionally, they refunded us for the time they were not able to shoot.
If you are looking for great quality photos and videos, professionalism and experience, I highly recommend Gala. -

We were so glad to book Gala Photo and Film for our wedding. Marc & Gia were extremely kind, friendly, professional, and responsive from the start. I was super impressed. From my initial call, I could tell they were my top choice for vendors. Their experience working with a multicultural (persian/american) weddings made me feel confident that they could capture all of our needs. Our final video and highlight is so beautifully put together. From all the different shots, music, and audio were all so perfectly blended. Marc & Gia arrived on time, made sure to film all of the special moments, and worked extremely well with our other vendors. My husband kept saying how comfortable he felt with them both filming us the entire day. We can't thank Marc & Gia enough! They truly were the best and most professional vendors that I worked with for our wedding. So thankful for them to be a part of it all. -

Gala Photo and Films exceeds what would be expected of a wedding photographer. This dynamic duo, husband-wife team, will quickly grow to be your favorite wedding vendor as their passion and genuineness shines through each call, email, and of course - every photo - that they take.
My husband and I had the opportunity to work closely with Gia for our engagement shoot and wedding day and we could not be more grateful for how comfortable she made us feel. We’re both a bit awkward in front of a camera but Gia’s kindness and professionalism made us feel like naturals!
Gala Photo specializes in bright, natural photography which really made them stand out to me during a time where ‘moody’ and ‘burnt’ photography was trendy. After receiving our sneak peeks, it became evident to me that these photos will stand the test of time, far past any trend, and that Marc and Gia go above and beyond to make sure each and every photo is perfect.
Aside from photography, Gia (and our second shooter for the day, Luis) were excellent in navigating the chaos that a wedding day can bring! From helping to coordinate schedules that didn’t involve photography, gathering large groups of friends and family members for photos, and even to Gia giving me a ride to my wedding venue due to a last minute hiccup - they quickly became my pillar of calmness!
If we had to do it over again, we would choose Gala! The quality of their photos and their eagerness to work with couples make them an obvious, and the best, choice! -

If you made it through our first review of Marc (Gia & GALA Photo and Films), it's been two years since and an even greater love affair for this photographer and their business. Like many 2019 couples, we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19, and Marc could not have been more accomodating and understanding. Leading up to the big day, Gia sent us reminders as well as worksheets to get us organized for photo requests timeline and family portraits. When our wedding day came, Marc and Gia were incredible in getting the group energized as well as relaxed. They scoped out all the spots for the first look, family photos, wedding party photos - everything was done, they just told us where and how to get it done.
Marc's photos speak for themselves. What we can tell you is they are not just incredibly organized and professional wedding photographer, but they also add to the party. They're friendly, fun and easygoing. Our family and friends loved them. And finally, Marc and Gia delivers. They had sneak peek photos for us by the time we were home from the wedding (and feeling the post-wedding blues), and they had our entire album sent to us before the deadline. Could not be more emphatic about hiring GALA Photo and Films for your wedding, next event, any photography needs in general! -

Absolute Dream!
Got married 5/21 after pushing back our date 3x due to Covid. Marc and Gia were an absolute dream to work with. We did our engagement shoot back in July and instantly knew we made the right choice. Our photos came out lovely, the energy throughout the shoot was wonderful and we were so excited to be moving forward. Throughout the whole rescheduling process we never had to worry about communication which was a life savor. We ended up moving our wedding from California to North Carolina and Marc came out with a local team. Our sneak peeks look stunning; the day went smoothly and we just overall cannot thank them enough. Biggest compliment to them taking photos of the party without getting in the way or being pushy which we’ve def experienced as guests before . So sad the day is over now 😭😭😭highly recommend!! -

Marc & Gia documented our wedding day so beautifully! Their professional and organized approach, easy-going attitude, and artistic eye made them great to work with.
They were very professional and organized throughout our time working together, making sure that we knew that our day was their priority. Marc put us at ease during our calls, and always communicated clearly about what he needed from us and what we could expect from him. He met us at our wedding venue to scout out good photo locations and to familiarize with the space. The day of, they made sure we got all of the photos we wanted (and more!), all while being on top of timing and directing us and our families in a pleasant way so we were on track and having fun.
They are a joy to work with because Marc & Gia are good conversationalist, and has an easy-going and positive attitude. We felt like we got to know them at our engagement shoot and then at our wedding , and that was great because we enjoyed spending time with them and made us so much more comfortable for our photos. They had a way of making us laugh, and making us feel at easy in front of the camera. We loved how they showed us a few photos as they were going, just so we could be assured that they were coming out beautifully!

My husband and I booked Gala Photo and Films for our November 2019 wedding and they were absolutely WONDERFUL to work with! Their photography and videography skills are abundantly evident in their work and I was immediately drawn in by the naturalness of their photos and use of light. You can definitely feel the joy and love in the couples they photograph. From the beginning, it felt like a clear and confident decision to work with them and I'm SO GLAD we did! Our engagement and wedding photos came out beautifully. Marc and Gia always made us feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera and were always open to any ideas or requests. On our wedding day, they helped with the flow of our day and respectfully took charge when needed, which I completely appreciated! They kept us on track and never pressured me. When there was a mix-up on seating at our venue, I headed over to help resolve the issue but was intercepted by Marc and Gia who assured me they could handle it and redirected me to our table so my new husband and I could enjoy our dinner. Marc told me that I shouldn't need to stress and reminded me to enjoy the night! I felt SO well taken care of and trusted that they would take care of anything else that might happen. WHICH THEY DID! The staff at our venue ended up cutting our wedding cake despite us telling them not to. Marc and Gia STOPPED them before they cut MORE of the cake and gracefully pulled my husband and me aside to let us know what had happened. They made the best of an unfortunate situation, corrected the cake as much as they could and our photos still turned out great. You couldn't even tell anything was wrong. They made any edits to our photos or video we requested and even when it became quite a project. They handled EVERYTHING with such professionalism which is something I really value. I would be GLAD to work with them again and HIGHLY recommend them. If you're looking for an event photographer or videographer, look no further because your search stops wit Gala Photo and Films. I hired Gala to photograph my wedding on VERY short short notice and he came through for me! I had a pretty traditional Desi (Indian) wedding and they knew exactly what to do. Marc and Gia, worked with me and my husband to get the best shots we could, which was not easy because we were INDOORS, in not the best lighting. Luckily, they had all of the necessary gear to light up the room for our portraits and we even borrowed on of their lights for our makeshift photo booth my sister made for us. They were very attentive to detail and captured some amazing shots of me and my husband before the ceremony. Marc was respectful of my requests and asked me beforehand what shots I wanted to get and definitely delivered. They were good to ask about when it would and wouldn't be appropriate for photos. Also they were very friendly with all the guests who were all very happy to be in the pictures. The turnaround time was pretty quick, I got my photos back before the promised time and they were kind enough to give me some preview shots that were edited right after the wedding to show my family overseas who couldn't make it. I would definitely recommend the Gala team for any upcoming events you may have! I had a great time working with them and can’t wait to have them shoot my sisters wedding. -

We are so glad we chose GALA Photo and Films as our wedding photographers. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and beautiful photos made it so easy to work with them and they captured such amazing memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We had a wonderful engagement shoot with Marc, who helped us look natural and have fun throughout, and our happiness shines through in our photos. For our wedding day, we had Marc & Gia as our photographers and Paul & Nicole as our videographers and they were all just amazing. Gia stuck to me throughout the day and did a great job capturing the candid joy and moments of the day. Marc took artistic shots, helped coordinate our poses and also helped coordinating to make sure we are on time. Their approach was great and they played with light, angles and the different areas throughout our venue to create a holistic album of photos and video footage. Overall, the GALA team was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would recommend them and their talent for any bride! -

I couldn't be happier with the experience and quality we received from GALA! We spoke with Marc back in March (2019) and was very happy with our first call. I was very picky on the team that would photograph and film our wedding and after meeting Marc, I knew that he would be the photographer that'll capture our wedding as I imagined. He was very thorough and upfront which makes it easy, especially when I don't know nothing about photography. I worked directly with Gia most of the time via email or phone - and she fit right in with me and my bridesmaids. She was creative, accommodating and brought so much great energy! She helped us out a lot with the timeline and also gave me a bunch of creative ideas for our engagement photo shoot.
We had a total of 4 team members on our wedding day and I can't thank them enough. They went above and beyond and made us feel very comfortable. We could feel how passionate they were about their work and how knowledgeable they were about the venue and the best areas to shoot in the best light. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! -

Marc & Gia shot both our engagement and wedding photos, and they looked absolutely stunning!!! They captured natural lights, and turned photos (first sneak peeks) around very quickly! They are very easy to work with, and they will confirm to make sure there aren't other places or photos you want to take / capture for either your engagement or wedding day.They are also open to suggestions if you want to see your photos edited more or less. I recommend Marc & Gia if you are looking for a photographer to capture your big day! We look at our wedding photos at least once a week! -

We first worked with Gia and Marc last March for our engagement photo. We had so much fun! We wanted something natural and simple; that's why we chose them. After a week, they already sent us a preview of our session! Our wedding was this past January 2020 and again, we received a sneak peak within 2 weeks later and our finalized photos after a month! Our video was done within 6 weeks as stated per contract.We were impressed! I've heard horrible stories from friends about their photos not being available to them right away. We are just so lucky to have worked with such an amazing team! -

We couldn't ask for a better photography team. We found Marc & Gia through a referral. They're excellent to work with and are super responsive. We loved the pictures so we reached out to them. They were great because they were able to cater a special wedding package for us because of our small 20 person wedding.
But the most impressive thing about them is their excellent pictures, the attention to detail, and the ease that they have with the camera. They provided us excellent engagement photos and beautiful wedding photos. They are one rare team that sends you your images so incredibly quickly (days after the wedding and they actually sent us our engagement photos within hours of the shoot).
My husband could not stop raving about them. We enjoyed their company so much that we grabbed dinner with them after the engagement shoot! They are fun, super laid back, extremely responsive and quick getting us our photos! We could not have asked for a better photographer! Even my husband's super picky parents said Marc & Gia's work was phenomenal!!! -

Marc & Gia made my wedding day memorable and captured all the beautiful moments. We had a bit of a stressful time with our venue and Marc stepped in and made everything worth it. He coordinated and even put in my veil! My guest loved him and said he was very nice and patient. When I received my previews the next day I cried. I never thought I could look so beautiful in a photo. My husband and I loved the photos and cannot wait to frame the photos and hang them up! I would say he isn't just a photographer he is an artist and has an eye for detail and beauty. He is highly recommended. -

Gala team was one of the best vendors we had at our wedding. My husband and I cannot be more pleased with their quality services. we hired them for photo & video purposes. Initially we were trying to get only photographer but we ended up getting video package as well. We shopped around almost a month before we decided to hire the Gala team. Their prices are unbeatable as well as the quality of the photos & videos. They also give you documentary edit which includes the full ceremony, speeches, dances and getting ready. We had such a wonderful experience with Marc and Gia as our wedding photographers from the planning stages to the day-of events and to receiving our photos in a timely manner. They were so flexible and attentive to what we wanted and needed for our wedding - even helping us plan our wedding timeline when we had no clue what we were doing. They captured so many beautiful photos, I can't even describe. From the bridal party shots, to the group family photos, and even making sure friends / family who wanted to take photos on their phones also got a chance to capture what they wanted. They got great candid moments too. They are efficient and for me in my heels, they kept it quick and got the shots quickly. From the moment we first had contact with Marc we knew he would be the perfect photographer for our big day. We had researched his work online and after seeing his Instagram and website pictures, we completely fell in love with his natural style of photography and ability to capture the beauty in a moment.
On the day of our wedding, he even showed up earlier than planned so that he could snap some getting ready photos which turned out to be some of our favourite pictures from the day! Its hard to put in to words how blown away we were by his work on our big day. There were so many incredible and special moments that he managed to capture so perfectly, and so naturally, which is just what we were looking for.
We lost count of all the guests who commented on how amazing he was. He was able to direct the group photos without being intrusive or overbearing and throughout the day he blended in to the scene perfectly. He used every lighting opportunity he could find to capture a range of photos, and was constantly on the look out to use the scenery and grounds of the venue to the fullest. His passion and enthusiasm to capture every moment shone all throughout, and he absolutely blew us away with his talent We couldn’t have wished for anything more and we would recommend Marc 100 times over! I spent a long time researching wedding photographers in my area and was hit hard by their work, they automatically went to the top of my list and we are so happy that they could shoot our wedding. After having the opportunity to meet, it was clear how their personality and passion matched their talent, these guys are a force!
On our big day Gia and Marc were focused, professional and attentive behind the lens and so much fun during all the bits in between. Group shots were super smooth and efficient, then individual shots with my wife were just a blast. Through out the course of day Gia and Marc continued to bring a thirst and enthusiasm for capturing our wedding and what made that day so special for us, I know those images will be personal and we cant wait to see them.
Photography was a big part of the day for us and having the talent and personality of Gia and Marc entrusted with that responsibility was a dream.

I cannot begin to express how wonderful our experience was with Marc and Gia. Not only were the photos beautiful, but they were such a joy to work with from our engagement shoot to the wedding and even afterwards. They took time to get to know us as people, not just as clients. We felt cared about, prioritized, and part of the photography process. In preparation for our engagement shoot, Gia asked if we had any special ideas of what we’d like to do for the shoot. She gave a few ideas but emphasized that it should be something reflective of who we are as a couple. We ended up doing a really exciting shoot at the beach and it was so much fun! Marc is great at helping people loosen up and have fun in front of the camera! My husband and I joke about our engagement shoot - Marc coaching us on how to relax a bit…we had a great laugh and Marc actually snuck in a shot of this happening! He quickly became well-known by our wedding party as the gumby-legged photographer who would get into any ninja position to get the best shot. One of the most special aspects of Marc’s photography is that it doesn’t just capture the moments from your wedding day. It also captures the feelings in those moments. When my husband and I were looking at photographers’ portfolios, what stood out to us with Marc’s was that he didn’t just take hundreds of pictures of the bride and groom. He caught the little moments, things that probably nobody else noticed. Gia captured all the fun and non posed moments. We love candids and she not only took candids but moments that still bring me to tears. My dad doing a little funky dance by himself, my husband’s best friend whispering something in his ear, my sister spraying medicine in my throat (since I lost my voice that morning). Silly little details that don’t seem significant at all, but in looking back helps remember how special that day felt. We have stunning portrait photos from the wedding, but more importantly we also have hundreds of photos of our family and friends. I didn’t realize until it happened, but your wedding day is surreal, because there’s no other time when all of the most important people in your life are in the same place at the same time. I am so glad we had Marc and Gia with us, because they knew how important it was to us to capture that and preserve it forever. 100 stars. Everything we could’ve hoped for. Thanks guys! -

Galaphotoandfilms was hands down the best decision we ever made for our wedding amongst our other vendors. From booking them a year and a half ago, they have treated us like family. Every question I had, every anxiety I had leading up to the wedding, they were there to calm me down. It was amazing that they also handled the events we had for our wedding. We never had to worry about time of events. They easily accommodated to our needs that day.
On a personal note, Marc and his team came through last minute to document my best friends’ wedding as she didn’t have that much longer left to live. He was patient with the family as he was with ours. He and his team did everything to ensure they captured the best shots.
The team was even picky about taking particular photos too. Please, whatever you do, feel free to contact me if you still have questions. We are so happy that we booked them as our vendors. I’ll even send you photos of us to show you their work. -

Marc is a wonderful wedding photographer. He is friendly and easy to work with on our wedding day. He happened to be out of the country a few months before our wedding. We wish he could get back to us as quickly as we wanted to prior to our wedding. However, his service was awesome. His team and him arrived on time on our wedding day and gave us tips on how to post for photos. Our wedding day happened to be on a rainy day, he went back to the venue after few days to shot with his drome. We appreciate that a lot! He sent us our highlight video and wedding documentary 2 months after our wedding. I understand it takes time to edit videos, wish we could at least receive the highlight earlier. I dont know why we waited until last minute to hire our photographer and videographer. That being said, I also do not know how I got extremely lucky to find them!
I requested a quote and received an answer like after 15 mins. We spoke with Marc and he was very patient with all the questions we had. We got the package which offered complementary engagement photoshoot. The price was very reasonable and there were no hidden fees.
In the wedding day, Marc brought his team and they did a fantastic job and our family loved how professional they were.
We got our sneak peek photos like after 2 days and we were thrilled with super epic photos.
They are not just professional photographers, they also care about your big day and they want to make sure your wedding day goes as smooth as possible.
Trust me you will be in safe hands, if you hire Marc and his team.

Marc and his team were amazing! They took great photos, were professional and on time, they even pleased my family (a very hard feat), and went above and beyond to make sure they captured everything that made our wedding special. I cannot recommend Gala Photo enough! -

We don't live in San Francisco . . so I looked hard and long for a well-reviewed photographer. I narrowed it down to Gala and set everything up through emails.
We were nervous because it was our wedding and we only had one shot. If Gala didn't show up or work out then (well you know).
Gala (Marc and his colleague) were right on time. They explained everything, put us at ease and were with us for the entire City Hall wedding journey. They guided and prompted us just how to pose, where to shoot and made it fun.
They even drove us to a beautiful nearby cafe for additional photos. They were sooooo enthusiastic.
We have beautiful memories of our wedding thanks to Marc and recommend them for anyone that requires not only professional photography - but also a personalized and happy experience! -

If you're looking for a wedding photographer, Marc should definitely be one of your top choices, if not the choice. I found him on yelp 7 months before my wedding, and was stunned by the amazing reviews he got. Let me just say he deserves all of those 5-star reviews. He replied immediately when I reached out to him on yelp, and quoted me an incredible price for an 8-hour package. When I asked if he could customize the package to an 10-hour one, he came up with one fast. We had a chat over the phone, and his attitude was just so thorough and kind. My husband and I knew right from that phone call that we wanted him as our photographer. Fast forward to two months before the wedding. We wanted to take pre-ceremony pictures at San Francisco's city hall, but our ceremony was being held in Gilroy, so doing both in the same day would be incredibly stressful, if not impossible. In a panic, we emailed him and asked if there was any way we could split our pre-ceremony pictures to a different day (3 hours one day, 7 hours the other), and to our surprise and gratefulness, Marc made it happen! With no extra charge or anything! This is during a time where I know he must be busy, because our wedding was smack in the middle of Christmas and New Years. Throughout the pre-ceremony and day of wedding picture taking, he was just so flexible, and got along with all of our guests (even my hard to please parents). He was respectful, but at the same time made sure that my husband's and my wishes were met first (I didn't want too many phone photographers taking up too much time, and he managed to convey that perfectly to them so that I didn't have to be such a bridezilla). He and Gia were perfect for our wedding. They sent us our preview photos within 2 days! I was not expecting that at all, but was so grateful. I cannot recommend Gala photos enough. If you want flexible, charismatic, and skilled photographers at your wedding, don't hesitate to book Marc and Gia. -

If I could give Marc & his team 10 stars, I would! Marc went above and beyond his responsibilities to actually function as my unofficial event coordinator, and ensured that everything ran like clockwork at my Anniversary Celebration! I would never consider using any other company for photography after the superlative experience I had with Marc & team! Thank you guys for making me feel like you were my family! -

Amazing is all I have to say.. You need someone who genuinely cares about your big day as much as you do.. Meet Marc! I have nothing but great things to say about him.. reason being he really values your time your day.. works hard to capture the best moments.. make sure not only to take pictures but capture memories. We had everyone raving about how amazing he was... I had hired his team for my photo and video but it felt more like they were my wedding coordinators.. that's how much hard work they put into their project!! I am so thankful to have met this team!! I wish I could get married over and over again just to have photos shoots with them lol!! I did get glimpses of the photos and video and they look amazing even without edits so can't wait for the final product! Thank you to this awesome team!! They really made us feel at ease and like we were working with friends and family!

Incredibly amazing service and the best photographers! The quality of my wedding photos were beyond crispy and sharp! Marc gave us extra edited photos as well. I didn't have an event planner but luckily Marc and his team helped me and my husband throughout the night for making sure everything goes well and smooth. We also got the photos way before the agreed date. We got way more edited photos than original agreement.
Thanks One Production Haus. They will also be at my sisters wedding in 2019.
