Beautiful music!!
We hired Gabriel's Horns for our ceremony music. Braden was our coordinator and was not only professional but provided excellent recommendations, was flexable and was very responsive. They coordinated with my brother to sing a couple songs and came early to practice with him before the ceremony. Very reasonably priced and we received MANY compliments!! -

Everything we wanted!
Gabriel's Horns helped to create a dream-like ambiance for our ceremony. From the moment we contacted them, they were nothing but prompt to reply. The selections they have available make creating your vision effortless. They are open to new ideas and any suggestions you might have. The day of the ceremony I could feel the excitement and passion they contributed to our special day. -

Incredible String Quartet!
We booked Gabriel’s Horns for the ceremony and a cocktail hour on our wedding day in September. Both of us and our guests were very happy with the music they provided and their service (which involved some travel to our venue) was prompt and professional. They worked with us ahead of the wedding to help select the type of classical, pop, and traditional wedding music from their repertoire, which was surprisingly deep and varied across genres. They also had very helpful samples of many songs on their website. I walked down the aisle to a Lana del Ray song; not the typical choice, but Gabriel’s Horns was able to make it sound like the most natural thing in the world. We won’t hesitate to give GH our most enthusiastic recommendation in the future! -

From start to finish I was impressed with Braden s knowledge, responsiveness and capabilities
After reviewing some quartets to provide before, processional and recessional music for my backyard wedding 7 24 21 I chose Gabriel's Horn. I went on their website to listen but only heard them play when I was walking up and down the isle. The feedback from our guests is simply amazing. Braden if you're reading my sister said you made her cry when you were playing falling in love with you. You're good because she doesn't cry in public. I recommend Gabriel's Horn wholeheartedly for a job well done and making this aspect of my wedding came through. Thank you so much. -

Beautiful and easy to work with
We hired Gabriel's Horns for our wedding in Madison and they were even more beautiful sounding in person than what was recored on the website. I was so impressed and so was my husband who played viola for many years. He even asked them to change the tempo in songs and they did.
I worked with Braden, who was quick to communicate and answer questions. Also, this quartet was so professional, every song (new or old) that we asked if they could play, they said yes. They can play anything. I would highly recommend them to anyone. -

Gabriel Horn's is absolutely amazing in every way!! Braden is so accommodating and easy to work with. The whole quartet is beyondddd talented. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding ceremony so special for us. They played all of the songs we wanted and it was perfect. Many guests complimented on how beautiful it was to have them apart of our ceremony. -

Gabriel’s Horns (string ensemble) did our wedding last week and they were amazing. The sounded great, were easy to work with, had a good repertoire of songs, and even took a last minute Metallica request! I absolutely would hire them again.

What a delight to work with! Braden was our main point of contact throughout the process and we hired a solo cellist who was willing to learn a specific piece that meant a lot to me from my childhood. He played prelude music as well as for the ceremony. Would highly recommend to anyone! -

Elegance, Class, Experienced, Talented, Professional
Gabriel's Horns set the tone of the ceremony. Their repertoire is huge and it was difficult to narrow down the selection. We decided to let them choose all the classical music other than the song, "At Last," when my daughter walked down the aisle. The feedback I heard was fantastic! I can't wait to watch the video so I can hear their music all over again. Don't waste time searching and pick Gabriel's Horns..you won't be disappointed. -

We hired Gabriels' Horns for our ceremony music - being the bride, of course I didn't get to hear most of what they played, but what I did hear was great! And what I heard from my guests was all good also. Points to them on being proactive to go find additional lighting last minute after realizing how dimly lit our room would be (intentionally dim for the ambiance) -

My husband and I selected Gabriels' Horns as our ceremony musicians for our wedding this past weekend. Jennifer was our point of contact and was in constant communication with us from the very beginning, up to the big day. We had a pianist and a violinist (Gina and Ann) who played beautifully, and even learned a new song for us. Gina came and visited me up in my dressing room on the wedding day and confirmed a few details, which helped me feel reassured things would go smoothly. My husband raved about their performance, and hearing their music before I walked out made me even more excited to walk down the aisle. Thank you Jennifer, Gina, and Ann for helping make my wedding day unforgettable and better than I imagined. You gals are amazing!!!! -

It had always been my dream to have a string quartet playing as I walked down the aisle at my wedding. With a tight budget, I didn't think that this would ever come true..then I found Gabriels' Horns! I know that sounds cheesy but it is true. Working with Jennifer via email, she was able to recommend a string duo that sounded amazing and was VERY reasonable. The quality of the music and the friendliness and flexibility of the musicians is unmatched. I plan to use Gabriels' horns in the future and have already recommended them to many friends. For a reasonable price, reliability, great communication, and friendly people, Gabriels' Horns is as good as it gets! -

My husband and I were very happy with every aspect of Gabriels Horns. We were looking for a harpist and flautist on somewhat short notice (a month prior to our wedding) and they were happy to accommodate. They were helpful with music suggestions. They responded quickly to emails and were easy to work with. The musicians were professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this company for any future event. -

There was a lot of music at our wedding and they were an important part to making everything over the top!
Also, they communicated with the people at the church that were helping also.

Our daughters wedding was an outdoor wedding on a very hot Saturday afternoon.
The guests were all seated but the groom & groomsman had not arrived yet.
They were a 1/2 late arriving but the music played on & the worst happened it started raining.
Without missing a beat the guests were ushered into Church & the music played on.
They were wonderful & never complained. We had so many wonderful comments on the music & how beautiful it was. I highly recomend Gabriel's Horns for any ocasion. -

I have been working with Gabriel's Horns for at least 7 years and I have never had a bad experience with jennifer and Gabriel's Horns. As a church musician who is responsible for the music for 40 weddings per year, this is quite an accomplishment. The musicians that Jennifer hires for me are always top notch; very competant and able to make last minute changes which is really important in church music. She always checks on me for repeat business and always accomodates any special needs that come up. I would highly recommend Gabriel's horns and Jennifer Atwater if you need musicians in the Milwaukee area! -

I desperately wanted a solo cellist for our ceremony and came to learn it was one of the hardest things to find despite living in a city with a large university music program and several orchestras. As I am not a musician I was unaware that cellist prefer to play in groups, which was confirmed twice after we had cellists lined up that we had personally sought out and contacted and both times they stopped returning our calls and emails before we could even negotiate music and payment. I contacted Jennifer at Gabriel's Horns about 3 weeks before our wedding, considering it my last ditch effort before resorting to a recording of Yo-Yo Ma's Bach Cello Suite No 1. Within 24 hours Jennifer found us a cellist and we sent our payment (which was based on the number of musicians contracted). About a week later the cellist we were supposed to have encountered a scheduling conflict and again within a matter of hours Jennifer found another cellist (Andy Johnson) for our event. He did an excellent job with correct timing despite not being present for the rehearsal (something I opted for). If we ever have an event where we need to hire live musicians I would definitely contract through Gabriel's horns again... they turned a stressful process into an easy one and I've been kicking myself for not finding them right away! -

Magnificent and so accommodating
We wanted our prelude to include a Mozart composition that was meaningful to us but not in Gabriel's Horns repertoire; Braden offered to have a clarinetist join their string quartet and the end result was elegant. Gabriel's Horns enhanced our Nuptial Mass with their outstanding talents, playing the Marian devotion, as well. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the music was and how lovely the musicians played; a real treat for all present.
Braden was our main point of contact and was always prompt in her responses. I would highly recommend Gabriel's Horns - first class. -

Gabriels' Horns ensured that the music on my wedding day was tailored to what I envisioned. They had all the musical pieces that i requested, were on time for the day of the wedding and set up ready to go! Gabriel's Horns was PERFECT for my wedding day. We got married at the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, WI, on May 28th, 2011, and I did not have to worry about a thing. They were set up and playing beautifully for our guests. I received several compliments from guests about the music during the ceremony. It was definitely worth the cost to have beautiful live music during our ceremony. -

Gabriel Horns (string trio) provided the ceremony music for our wedding. The music was beautiful and I didn't have any problems booking the group online. However, I found out later that there were significant issues with the trio setting up. Our ceremony coordinator told us later that they refused to move from the front center of ceremony site. Apparently, they moved their chairs right up where the groom and groomsmen were supposed to stand. It took a lot of convincing to have them move so they wouldn't be in the way of the groomsmen. I'm glad it all got worked out but it's not exactly how you want to hear one of your vendors behaved.
Again, it was easy to book the group, tell them what pieces to play and finalize details. And, the music was stunning. I would recommend providing the group with details about where they are supposed to set up so there aren't these issues. -

Unprofessional, Unethical, Unreliable
Twice I confirmed Braden would bring her amp & equipment to plug in so we would be able to hear the music on property (other reviews state they could not hear). She never did & music not heard. We were kind, gave them water, blocked driveway for them to park (they did not), provided a shaded area under a tree for them to play for a 13 minute ceremony.Braden arrived during photos & I had to leave photos because I she was yelling, throwing up her hands, and rearranging our chairs for the ceremony. I was embarrassed that our guests were seeing this. Braden took all 3 chairs & placed them IN the wedding aisle. I had to leave photos to speak with her & tell her to put them back, she was extremely rude & rearranged the chairs complaining they weren’t shaded. After the ceremony, my parents moved the chairs for them to a 10x20 tent that was staked down & weights on it. It took 15 mins for them to start playing. Then another break-even though it was more than 5 mins each hour. At 6:00 dinner began & the trio took yet another break, helping themselves to drinks at our bar-we gave them cold water bottles on multiple occasions, but never said help themselves to drinks. They started to play at 6:15 their first song after their break & my mom kindly stopped them & asked them to move to the larger tent w/sides so everyone could hear them. My mom moved the 3 chairs AGAIN & put in a semi-circle in front of the head table, the trio STOOD with their instruments, because it started to rain. They REFUSED to sit & play because of rain. It continued from 6:15-6:45. Finally at 6:45 my husband, parents and I asked them if we could just get a refund. Braden agreed and looked at both violinists, both agreed. They were refusing to play, just holding onto their CLOSED instruments, tents inside were completely dry, they were completely dry. After they agreed to refund us the 2 hours of unplayed time, I asked if they would like dinner. We fed them at 6:45, got them more drinks & offered to pull up their cars. I messaged her that night asking how the refund would work. No response. I messaged her the next day bringing up the refund again. Finally on Monday Braden responded stating multiple lies & taking back her verbal contract. She stated “This is also the first outdoor wedding I played that didn’t have a rain back up plan!” We had 3 waterproof tents with sides as our backup plan.Braden also stated that I told her we were not going inside-she never asked me this. Most the wedding was moving inside at 6:30-6:45 after eating. The trio would have been welcome to come as well. NO ONE told her she could not come inside. Guests were all eating during the rain (photos to show this), but the trio remained in the middle of the tent standing & refusing to play. They left at 7:15-by choice, refusing to play & verbally stating they would refund us 2 hours. We have documented photos & videos of you standing, refusing to play because of rain that never touched you. I highly recommend NOT booking them because they are dishonest (proof that they stated we would be getting refunded, then ghosted us, and as I persisted she took her verbal contract back). I had to find them sheet music/chords (proof in our email correspondence) If you are scared of rain- put that in your profile.
The booking agent MADE them refund us the money that Gabriel's Horns promised us after we opened a case, gave photo, video, email and message evidence and posted this same review. Just want others to be aware. -
