I really can't recommend Gabe enough! I am a wedding coordinator so I met him while working a wedding together and immediately felt a connection. When my boyfriend and I decided to have photos taken for our anniversary, I knew I wanted to work with Gabe. Not only is he the friendliest person you have ever met, he also makes you feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera - which is huge for all of our significant others out there who aren't the biggest fans of taking pictures! Not to mention, the style of his photos are TO DIE FOR and is able to capture candid/natural moments. He sent us sneak peaks the same night of our shoot and sent the rest of the gallery in a very timely manner. Now we have SO many photos to cherish for the years to come. Thank you so much Gabe!! -

Ah! Where can I start?
Gabriel is not only the most talented photographer ever but was the absolute best support and personality you could have on your side. Although his work really speaks for itself his personality and passion for his works is just another reason to have be part of your special day. Gabriel is so knowledgeable about all the details about your day and really takes charge to help you plan out your day and make you feel so special. I can’t tell you how many people still talk about my wedding or engagement photos. Not only do you fall in love with Gabe’s work but you fall in love with his personality and professionalism! We can’t imagine having anyone else take our future family photos, we are lifers!! -

Gabe is extraordinary in everything he does!! His work is so beautiful and he is able to capture every emotion in his photos! He truly has a gift. Gabe was our photographer for our wedding this September and we had an even better experience than we could have ever imagined!! He is not only an amazing photographer, but has the kindest heart and positive energy that fills the room! He has a way of making everyone feel at ease which comes across in all of the photos. Every one of our guests commented on how awesome he was!!! He was even part of the dance party and truly was the life of the party!! He sent us our preview photos within one week of our wedding and each and every one was so beautiful!! We are so thankful to have these memories for a lifetime. Hiring Gabe as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made and we cannot thank him enough for being a part of our day and making it so special!! -

Gabe was an amazing photographer! My husband and I knew we were going to use him as our wedding photographer the first time we met up. He has a great personality and is always so happy! He also did a great job of keeping me calm on our wedding day. He was very helpful and made sure the whole day ran smoothly. Our family and friends loved him as well! -

Hiring Gabe as your wedding photographer is hands down the best decision you can make! We recently had our engagement photo shoot with him in Joshua Tree and he made us feel so special and like beautiful people! He immediately greeted us as if we’ve known each other for years. His personality is infectious in a great way because he makes you feel so at ease. He’s hands down just a cool photographer and an immediate friend!
When he got to our shoot location he looked around and just knew he had an eye for where to shoot. His brain was brewing art. He took the time to get to know us and asked about how we first met. There was never a dull moment and the photos show that. We can’t wait to have him shoot our big day! Gabe is truly a beautiful person and is gifted with capturing special moments for others. -

We first met Gabe at our best friend's wedding. He was their photographer and the minute we saw their wedding photos, we knew he had to be ours too. We just wrapped up our engagement shoot and couldn't be more in love with the photos he gave us. Not to mention the whole experience was SO fun. He's the kind of person who makes you feel like you've known him forever and that's super important when you don't have much modeling experience under your belt. He made us feel so comfortable and the photos speak for themselves. They're fun, laidback, natural and totally capture us as a couple. We can't wait for him to shoot our big day. If you're looking for a photographer, you need this guy in your life! We promise you won't be disappointed. -

My fiancé and I are getting married out of town and wanted engagement photos in our hometown. We found Gabe through Instagram and instantly fell in love with his style of photography. He was very accommodating with finding a time that worked with my work and my fiancé’s school schedule. During the photo shoot he always kept us calm and laughing when I was sure I’d be nervous and stilted. He knew how to guide us into poses without making it overly formal or forced. He even showed pictures during the shoot to reassure me that we looked good. He was so wonderful to work with! We got sneak peaks back after a couple days and the whole set after 2 weeks. So fast! I highly recommend him! -

Amazing!!!
Beyond impressed with our experience with Gabe as our wedding photographer! We have only just started our wedding journey, but I am already beaming with excitement because of this incredible artist. We were initially interested in Gabriel Conover because of his photos on instagram. We, then, booked our engagement photo shoot, and from the moment of contact with him, it just felt like the perfect fit. He took time to learn about my fiancé and I, as a couple, prior to meeting with us; which made our first time meeting feel like a reunion with a long lost friend! He has an infectious laugh and a vibrant personality that made our engagement shoot so natural and fun! We received our photos and could not be more in love with them. He captured us in some of the most vulnerable ways, as well as, in our most silly and natural ways. I can’t imagine a better choice for a photographer than Gabriel Conover! Simply amazing!! -

Just like having a best friend who just happens to be a great photographer
This is a review for my significant other and our Engagement Session, I will leave another post for our wedding at a later date:
I'll start from the beginning, what I love is that Gabe really took the time to get to know Cody and I. To figure out our story and who we are as a couple. From the beginning, you feel as if you've known him forever, and when you first meet him it's as if you're just catching up with an old friend and you're just catching up on all the best and worst moments of life.
I never, and I mean never really liked beach photoshoots, I felt that they are cheesy and overdone. A cliche I wanted to avoid at all costs. We've all seen it the cheesy, horribly staged photos you find of couples on the beach. But my fiance wanted to do a shoot in the water, so I reluctantly obliged. Upon Gabe's suggestion, we met to do our Engagement shoot at Torrey Pines. I had never been to this particular part of San Diego before, and although it was breathtakingly beautiful, it was absolutely packed with tourists and locals alike. Amidst all of this, Gabe managed to bring out the most genuine parts of our relationship, the jokes, the laughter, the ugly truly happy smiles you have when you're one hundred percent comfortable.
We ended our shoot with him happier than when we arrived, leaving was like saying goodbye to a friend who you couldn't wait to see again.
Having promised us photos in two weeks, I was patient but so ecstatic to find out they were ready early! And he did not disappoint. Our photos truly capture us as a couple, our love, and everything in between. The photos are AMAZING and it looks like we were the only ones on a beautiful sunny day (remember I mentioned that beach was PACKED).
Gabe's laughter and personality is infectious and If what you want is someone who has a genuine passion and impeccable eye for capturing love, then you want Gabe. He will not disappoint. He is not your average photographer by any means and we cannot wait to have him share our wedding day with us!

Cassie Sent on 09/07/2018I'm going to try hard to keep this short because I could go on and on about Gabe forever! Gabe was hands down the most important wedding vendor we had! From the initial meeting to engagement photos up in Julian, Gabe knows how to make people feel comfortable leading to photos that showcased our personalities and love for each other. Gabe was born to do this! He has the eye for amazing shots, is extremely personable, delivers hundreds of breathtaking photos, and makes everyone from MOB to groomsmen laugh! Our engagement and wedding photos will be our most treasured photos for the rest of our life! Do yourself a favor and invest in Gabe's services! That decision you will be grateful for years and years to come!

There's a reason Gabriel is on SO many venue and vendor preferred lists, he's THE BEST to work with and produces an amazing product for his couples! As a wedding planner, I've worked with an abundance of photographers. This is a person you'll be spending your entire day with, so you want someone that will help you stay relaxed and is a total pleasure to be around. The only downside is he books quickly, so don't wait! -

Having the most perfect wedding day is the end goal and I don't think individuals realize sometimes how important it is to have vendors you love and can trust. Gabriel Conover simply made every photo we took during a day not a chore but the best time ever with every moment laughing and smiling so effortlessly you don't even feel your jaw starting to tighten up.
I'll start the day from the beginning:
Gabe came in and immediately started reviewing the space and scoping out potential photos, while I was getting hair and makeup done he took the opportunity to take photos of the dress and small details like jewelry, for me this turns out to be even more important as in the midst of the crazy my grandmother's necklace has gone missing and now those photos are what I will have of it as she passed away earlier the year before and that was my way of keeping her with me. These are details that are important that we ourselves may forget about but Gabe makes sure to capture them for us. From the beginning Gabe kept me laughing and smiling with his genuine sincerity and love for what he does, his energy is infectious and cannot be ignored that everybody picked up on it.
He understood the importance of capturing family portraits and in my family's case (multiple of the same picture and pose) and did it without complain or irritation but with the biggest laugh ever!
I didn't have to worry that he was capturing the best candid moments while still making sure to get all the best and/or important part of the wedding.
Simply put he and his team are amazing and extremely professional, my husband and I got sneak peaks of our wedding only two days later! So I have a whole mini album to gush over until we get the rest of the pictures. And we already know that we will be printing out all of them to put in frames and albums that we will cherish forever.
Truly we hit the jackpot with Gabe and intent to hire him again in the future for anniversary shots or in home sessions!
Thank you for being so great at what you do! You truly were a big part of making our big day the most best day ever! -
