Hi Kathy,
Thank you for your review. I want to address a few of your concerns about Gable Hill. We do not light the candle wall for you. It's a simple button behind where the bride and groom sit at the head table. We do show everyone where it is incase we are not on site to do so ourselves. If we light them when we open the barn at 10am, we fear the candles will not stay lit the entire night.

The troughs were not condensation, they were leaking and so was the cooler next to the bar which they ended up putting on the outside catering deck. I came in prior to ceremony and moped and squeegeed the floor so people did not slip. It did end up causing some water damage on the wall behind the bar which we did end up having to fix but I did not ding you for it nor make a big deal about it. I just simply asked the people working the bar if they could just make sure the water didn't get out of control.

We did everything we could to accommodate you on your big day which you seemed very happy at the conclusion of the night even rating us 5 stars on facebook then changing it because we did not post a picture of you and your husband on our facebook page in a timely fashion which at the time we had not received a professional photo of you two yet . We allowed you to make some visits to the barn to see it as well as answer all and every question you had leading up to your big day. I spoke to a family member who called and wanted to graciously make a payment towards your venue balance. I helped him out with a that emailing information and the payment form. I believe we did everything we could to help make your day great.

We pride ourselves in our customer service and communication and seeing that all brides and grooms are very happy with our services and enjoy their beautiful day at Gable Hill. Please feel free to email me with any additional concerns. Thank you

Your wedding got cancelled due to non payment. Your email to me explained that you were uncomfortable hosting your event this year and wanted to cancel. You sent me the cancellation email the evening on the day your payment was due. We worked with ALL couples to reschedule dates, even offered a contingent payment plan for those who wanted to pay a small portion of their final payment 4 months out. All emails send and contract explains that date changes must be made with contracts in good standing (meaning you don't lapse a payment). All other couples that moved their date did so with their contract in good standing and this was clearly explained to you. You did not make your payment so your date was cancelled.
