G Sharp Entertainment has it all!

G Sharp Entertainment was simply awesome! Super professional, always timely with questions, and you can really tell that they love what they do! Greg was awesome with helping us with all our music needs, and he really made us feel confident about our destination wedding. He went out of his way to make everything perfect from our money dance, to our traditional Filipino dance, and Disney mashups that we made, and he really kept the evening fun! The photobooth was a huge hit, and the up lighting they provided was stunning and perfect for our rainbow Disney wedding. Their online set-up was very user-friendly and made planning a breeze. The violinist music was gorgeous and Greg and G Sharp Entertainment really made our wedding and reception a night to remember! Would definitely recommend!

Professional, flexible DJ!

Greg was great since day 1. He was very professional and responsive to emails. He understood how to play music for two cultures (Latino and White) that made everyone hit the dance floor. We also got our photo booth through G Sharp Entertainment and they were awesome as well! At the end of the night, we had a last minute addition for an end of the night toast. Greg was wonderful with this last minute change and made it work without messing up the flow. Would highly recommend him as your DJ!

Words cannot express how pleased we were with Gregg! When I first contacted him, I made it very clear to him that we needed a DJ who was bilingual and could keep the party going for both cultures (my husband is Mexican and i am very white). While we never met with him in person, he knew EXACTLY what we wanted and did an amazing job mixing the music and keeping the party going. There was someone always on the dance floor! He provides very helpful planning tools that help guaranteed we got the songs we wanted for our first dance, entrance, etc. But we gave him very little information on the songs we wanted to play during the reception. He just did his thing and it was awesome! He had amazing energy throughout the entire reception! We had a mariachi band during our cocktail hour (which we didn't hire until about 5 days before the wedding!) but Gregg did a great job working with them and then taking over music duties as soon as the mariachi was over. My husband is very hard to please when it comes to DJs and he could not stop talking about how great Gregg did! Reasonable pricing and so flexible!

When planning the early stages of our wedding, we originally thought we’d go the self-DJ/iPod route to save some money. We quickly realized that wasn’t the best option, as we wanted some help in making sure all the parts of our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all went smoothly. We contacted Greg after reading some great reviews, and I’m happy to say that everything we’d read was true. He was very helpful and communicative in the time leading to our wedding day and was always responsive to any questions or concerns I had. On our wedding day, Greg played acoustic guitar for our ceremony beautifully and kept music playing during our cocktail hour. He spoke with our wedding party prior to the entrance to the reception to make sure he had pronunciation correct and to make everyone comfortable. Greg did a great job of helping us stick to our timeline, playing requests, and keeping the party going! We received many compliments on his professionalism and ability to read the room to play music that would appeal to our guests. We especially noticed that he was interactive with our guests and in making announcements, but in a way that wasn’t overbearing or showy. We could not have been happier with our decision to hire Greg for our wedding and are very grateful to him for helping to make it such an amazing day!

My husband and I are swing dancers, which means that we wanted music from the 1930's-40's for all of our swing dancing friends in attendance while also having music for those that don't do lindy hop. And one of my biggest fears going into the wedding was having an empty dance floor! But Greg was amazing!! He found the perfect balance of music to please everyone in attendance. And that dance floor was going all night! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. He also played the guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour, which was the perfect touch to the day. He learned the song "All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera for my walk down the aisle and it was absolutely perfect. I really couldn't have asked for a better day and my husband and I owe a lot of thanks to Greg for that!

We hired G Sharp Entertainment for DJ and music services at our wedding ceremony and reception and I am more than happy that we did! Greg was fantastic to work with, quick to communicate and address any questions or concerns that we had. G Sharp provided all of the music as well as microphone and speakers for our beach wedding without any problem. They even helped to set up our ceremony chairs when they were unexpectedly delivered late, which was so kind. Anil made our reception so much fun - a huge party scene which is exactly what we wanted. I would absolutely hire G Sharp again if I could and I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. Great DJ's, easy and fun to work with, and all at the best price you are going to find!

Greg truly made our wedding day so memorable. He played acoustic guitar during our ceremony as well as during cocktail hour and then was our DJ throughout the reception. I cannot count the amount of guests that complimented his talent (especially his guitar playing during cocktail hour) and we were totally blown away ourselves. He was so good at reading the crowd and played music that kept everyone on the dance floor. He even checked in with the people giving toasts right before to explain use of the mic and where it would be best to stand. Our main goal was for everyone to just have a good time which is pretty dependent on the DJ and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. I would recommend Greg to anyone and everyone!

Whatever your needs, you'll be in good hands with the G Sharp team! We had the pleasure of working with Gregg for our wedding. He is 100% the professional and very experienced.

We appreciated how organized he is --setting up times for phone calls, replying promptly to emails, the ability to quickly, concisely get all the information he needed. Too many vendors think that talking your ear off is what clients are looking for; Gregg was always willing and able to discuss as much as we wanted, but what we appreciate was that he was so efficient and respectful of our time.

Gregg even stopped by our venue on his own to check that he would have no problem setting up the day of --the mark of a true professional.

He performed beautifully the day of. He came prepared to tape down his extension cords for safety and even brought extra microphones for speeches.

Thank you Gregg and team for being a part of a wonderful day! And for making the planning a little less stressful!

These DJs were PRO's!! The online feature was awesome. The live music was beautiful. The DJ was incredibly flexible, and open to on-the-spot changes/requests. I had a great experience with G Sharp-- well worth the investment.

Greg was amazing!! We He was professional, responsive and his prices were fair and affordable. His online planning forum made picking music easy. At our wedding, Greg performed live music for cocktail hour and DJ'd for the ceremony and reception. While we didn't hear him during cocktail hour the guests said his performance was great! Our wedding started at 10am and he played music that kept people on the dance floor despite the early morning. Greg also provided us with a photobooth which was a huge hit. I would highly recommend Greg and G Sharp Entertainment. Thank you!!

Greg was amazing! We hired him to play our ceremony music and DJ our reception. Throughout the planning process, he was very responsive and helpful in answering my many questions. We got so many compliments on the music at the wedding - Greg played an awesome dance mix! And he was gracious in accepting song requests throughout the night. We also worked with his day-of coordinator Patricia. She was so helpful in managing all the day-of details so I didn't have to think about anything except for taking it all in. I highly recommend Greg and Patricia!

We hired Greg for our wedding 10/09/15 at Green Gables. He did a FANTASTIC job. He performs the ceremony live with his guitar and DJs the reception. You are able to pick instrumental or with singing because he sings too! He has a great voice and is very talented.

He has a easy to use website for the couple. On the website you do everything; enter must-play songs, do not play songs, what song you want played as your first dance, etc.
He is very accommodating and easy to work with.
Greg calls a few days before the wedding to finalize details.

Price is very very competitive especially for the quality of work and experience that Greg has. Everyone was on the dance floor and having a great time. I didn't have to micro-manage and pick a hundred songs for him to play. He knows what he is doing and played crowd pleasers. Greg would let us know what was coming up next throughout the night, which I thought was so considerate and professional. Thank you Greg.

Greg is incredible and saved our wedding in so many ways! When somehow both our planner and our venue failed to have a working audio system for our beach ceremony (so we had no sound after I walked down the aisle) it was GREG that somehow got audio working so everyone could hear the second part of the ceremony (which was not supposed to be his job at all).

He happily learned the song I wanted to walk down the aisle too and created THE BEST dance party for our wedding. No one ever stopped dancing. He took all my requests but also just knew how to make a great party. We never thought our wedding would be a non-stop dance party but because of Greg, it was. He played songs for the older crowd, remembered little details of what I wanted, but also did his own thing and that's what made the night so special.

If you don't use Greg at your wedding you are crazy. In fact, I wish I had used Patricia who works with Greg as a coordinator instead of who I used, because G Sharp just really knows what they are doing.

Thank you, Greg for being such a huge part of the best day of our lives!!!!

Greg knows what he is doing! From our initial meeting to the day of our wedding, he was so professional and friendly. All of our guests raved at how much they loved the music he was playing. Since he had worked at our venue before, there was no need for us to meet in person at the site. We talked over the phone a week before and went over our songs choices. There was a hiccup on the day of with some of our song choices BUT THAT WAS MY FAULT! I had forgotten to tell him we updated a few of our songs a couple days before the wedding. But since he is such a pro, he had no problem finding the songs we wanted and cueing them up at the right time...and this was all done probably 30 minutes before the ceremony was set to start! Greg really knows how to get a feel for the music your crowd will like, and was a crucial part in keeping the flow of the evening moving smoothly. Thank you so much Greg for helping to make our night perfect!

I highly recommend Greg for any function. He was so professional and his music was wonderful. He really keyed in on what we were looking for and delivered. He read the vibe of the crowd during moments we let him choose the music for both acoustic and DJ'ing and everyone loved him. His acoustic was very well done and he has an amazingly soothing singing voice so it worked out well for our beach cocktail hour. We were so happy we chose GSharp for our wedding. He also custom made a Gobo design for us and it looked great as well.

Greg was amazing! We met with him before and he helped us balance exactly what we were looking for. We could not afford a live band but Greg offered live acoustic music for our cocktail hour and for our first dance. Then he really kept the reception dancing and out on the dance floor for the entire night!
In addition, he works with a day of coordinator who was amazing! Patricia made it very easy not to worry about little details being addressed the day of. She helped set up the church and then went straight to the reception to make sure all was well. She worked with Greg to keep us on time with the timeline and everything worked out smoothly!
They were both amazing vendors to work with and we could not be more pleased with the end result!

Greg performed both his live music, as well as DJ services, for our wedding at the Bahia resort on 11/14/14. Erika and I couldn't have been happier. From his easy going nature, the planning tools he provided, the live music played during our ceremony and at our cocktail hour, to mc'ing the reception and keeping the party going with his music selection - everything was more than satisfactory it was GREAT! When we had some last minute changes to a few requests, he was able to make those changes and no one ever knew it wasn't the original plan. With guests having very different tastes, he was able to play enough variety to keep everyone happy and the party going which I never thought would have been possible. We were so glad we hired Greg for our wedding and would recommend others to do so... He was outstanding.

I can't say enough good things about G Sharp! Greg and Pat are the best! Greg was absolutely wonderful to work with in terms of booking and logistics for my wedding. Pat (who did live music for cocktail hour then DJ'd my wedding reception) was amazing! He is so easy to work with and kept the party so high energy everyone was on the dance floor!! I had countless guests tell me how good the music was! Pat did a great job of mixing in all my "must play" songs with other great party tunes. I would HIGHLY recommend to any couple planning a wedding to hire G Sharp!

Greg is an awesome guitarist. The only person I know who can fill hours of music from memory without looking at music. He's an awesome DJ: he's the least opinionated DJ I know, he likes your music as much as you do. Also, he's a brilliant MC. He keeps your wedding flowing without showing any ego, he just fits in the cracks right when it's needed.

Simply put, Greg is AMAZING! I first found out about Greg as we hired him for my company's holiday party. I then learned that my co-worker had also booked him for her wedding later this year. Because planning a wedding in San Diego from New Orleans made me a little apprehensive, considering I would probably never meet them in person prior to the big day, I jumped on the opportunity & hired him before I had even heard him perform. Greg made the long distance thing super easy! His comprehensive website provided the perfect portal for musically dis-inclined people like myself. You can manage your song lists, keep a do not play list & the most valuable part for me was access to hundreds of top wedding songs by category (i.e top grand entrance, top bouquet toss).
I could not have been more pleased with how the evening turned out. I have to apologize to Greg, as I was a slacker and made some last minute song changes the week of and my husband changed his mind & wanted to do a mother-son dance, so Greg selected that song & added it in on the fly the night of.
Greg was always quick to respond to any & all questions that I sent his way. I was also very appreciative of his advice on ceremony and reception timeline and his great advice on selecting an officiant.
Greg is amazingly talented, both as an acoustic musician and as a DJ and I promise you that this is one vendor that you will not be disappointed in.

Greg was fun and easy to work with! He learned songs for our ceremony and was a fabulous DJ during our reception. We still stalk Greg's fb page in order to hear him play live music! I would highly recommend using Greg for your wedding as a DJ or as a musician!

I was debating whether or not to go with another DJ service when I got an email from Greg. A DJ and a musician? I could have BOTH at my wedding??? That got my attention - as did his laid back style. No high pressure selling, just good music! Any hesitation I had about having live music was quickly put to rest when I heard him play at a local venue... good mainstream vibe with enough of a blues-y edge to keep it real.

We decided to have Greg play at the ceremony and during our cocktail hour, then switch to DJ'ing after dinner for dancing. It was the perfect mix and created just the right atmosphere for each part of our night. We also had Greg do a custom GOBO for our dance floor and uplighting, and the end result was amazing. He helped to create the perfect look for our night and our favorite picture wouldn't have been possible without his help. I highly recommend!!

Perfect. My (now) wife and I got married recently and Greg was the DJ and MC at our wedding. We first met Greg when we heard him playing Spanish guitar at South Coast Winery when we were driving around looking for venues in Temecula. He was getting pretty deep into the Mexican and Brazilian love songs, and my wife - who is from Mexico City - was loving his music so much that she made me go up and get his card. We talked briefly, and he shared that he was a DJ too. That sealed the deal.

We were concerned about our DJ (generally) because I am very white, my wife is very Mexican, and we have very different music tastes. We shared that we needed someone who could seamlessly incorporate both American music and Mexican music, so as not to alienate either crowd. We also needed someone who could speak in English and Spanish at the reception (as my wife's family speaks only limited English). Greg hit a home run.

As far as the guitar at the ceremony, it was straight out of a movie. Everyone was commenting about his guitar playing and his singing, and it fit perfectly with the vineyard we got married in. When you envision someone playing guitar at your ceremony, you are picturing Greg.

As far as the reception, it was apparent that Greg really listened to us when we told him what music we liked, and his playlist was customized. This wasn't your standard "Journey - Don't Stop Believin" playlist. We heard song-after-song that we had mentioned in passing, as well as other songs in genres we liked but hadn't specifically mentioned. He really listened to us and got to know us. The dance floor was PACKED the entire night, and that was ALL Greg.

Greg is the most professional organized Dj out there hands down. He is also extremely talented as a musician. I really was happy with our choice. He did an excellent job. You won't be disappointed if you use him! He is worth way more than he asks for.

Greg Shibley was the best! He was so nice to assist us on our wedding day! We booked Greg a year in advance and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice! Outstanding!!!! G-Sharp played guitar for the ceremony/cocktail hour & provided dj/lights for reception. The night was perfect & carefree! Ceremony guitar was amazing & our dance floor was always full. Thank you Greg!!!!!

I hired Greg for my wedding and at first I would like to hire him both as a DJ and Guitarist. However, since I need to revise my budget I decided to hire him as my DJ only and boy I was so glad to do so ! Greg knows what need to be done to make my wedding a lot of fun. I don't need to tell him or give him a long music list to make my reception so much alive ! He is professional, always on top of things and flexible. I am glad that I chose him as my DJ. I def would recommend Greg to anyone of my friends. Thank you Greg for making our wedding a special one !

Greg performed/worked at our wedding in June 2013 and we can't say enough good things about him. We wanted the opposite of a paint-by-numbers, cookie-cutter wedding ceremony, and Greg's services fit perfectly into our day.

He's professional in every manner. He's personable, punctual, communicative and responsive.
He's accommodating: He's what you need him to be: a classical guitarist, a wedding singer, a DJ, a lighting specialist. And we will make every effort to meet or talk with you on your schedule to help you plan prior to your event date.
He's meticulous: Since he had never performed/worked at the venue we had chosen, he requested that he conduct a walk-through about a month before the wedding date to map out the logistics - his attention to detail is a godsend as he will know how to prevent issues and solve any that do come up.
He's affordable (and he's worth every penny): We ordered his DJ/Musician package. His prices were cheaper than most other DJs and yet he provided more value than we could've expected. The sound was great all around - from the acoustic music during the ceremony, to the cocktail hour and dinner time background music, to the speeches, to the dancing music - the sound was always clear and audible to just about everyone at our outdoor venue. His personalized service was the icing on the already abundant cake. He learned an alt-country song that is dear to us and played it for our first dance. He played a beautiful rendition of the song and that dance stands out as the single-most memorable moment of our wedding day. We are eternally grateful to him for that performance alone.

His website is a great tool for organizing your wedding day timeline. Also, he's got a great online tool to search for music and set up the playlist you want him to spin.

We love Greg and we are so glad we found him. We would be happy to provide references for him.

We had the pleasure of having Greg Shibley provide live music for our wedding ceremony as well as DJ services for our reception. Just wanted to say that he did a wonderful job. Greg is a talented musician who plays the guitar beautifully. The live guitar music and vocals were such a great addition to our wedding. Plus it amazes me how he put everything together by himself, live music, sound system and DJ station and was still able to put things together professionally and smoothly. Greg is very friendly, geniune and professional at the same time.
One thing that really stood out to us is that he went above and beyond and allowed us to practice our ukulele/singing performance at one of his weekly gigs which helped to ease our performance anxiety. Because of this we were able to do really well performing on our wedding day. I would highly recommend this vendor to anyone planning a wedding who really appreciates classy/live music and would like the convenience of having both live music and DJ services combined.

Greg absolutely nailed our wedding. It was a pretty complicated affair....we had a medieval wedding and during the cocktail hour we had several games for our guests to play in preparation for an archery tournament between the groom and groomsmen at the reception. The tournament itself involved our entrance, each bridesmaid adorning each groomsman with a sash, the men walking down to the field, the actual competition, and crowning the victor. We wanted music basically for all of it - and even my husband (who was very vocal about not even wanting a DJ) commented on what an outstanding job Greg did. He played awesome and festive music at all the right times that totally set the mood and did a great job of fanfare music and trumpets sounding during the tournament.

His other musical selections were fantastic as well. After a discussion with him on some of the more specific music choices for the ceremony and other events I ended up letting him pick a lot of those songs himself. I am SO glad I did this - not only was it a huge relief not to worry about those small details but WOW he totally exceeded my expectations. The music he chose for the ceremony was breath taking.

Music selections aside, Greg deserves so much credit for making sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. He made sure everything happened at the right time. He provided microphones for the officiant and ceremony, the speeches, and the person who narrated our tournament - all of that went so smoothly because of his cues and preparation. He also took a trip to the venue with me beforehand in order to be fully prepared on the day of.

And even though we had so much going on during the reception (half of our guests were in line to use the bow and arrow and the other half were at the photo booth) he managed to keep people on the dance floor right up until the last minute.

Throughout the whole process he was professional and always responded quickly. I give him a glowing recommendation!

G Sharp is the best in the industry! Our first meeting we were assured he was responsive, energetic and full of passion in what he does! He assisted in guiding us into making sure our wedding day flowed! Made my life easier especially with us planning our special day from 500+ miles away! Excellent guitar skills too!! Added plus!

First of all, there isn't a category for cocktail hour musician but Greg did that too. (so I added "entertainer")
Anyway, we just had our amazing wedding in Ocean side and Greg provided ALL the music. From even before the ceremony all the way till the end of the night. We found him on pretty short notice, but we threw it all together and it went great. For one thing he always answered our calls and emails right away so that made us feel good from the beginning. :)
And of course the music was perfect.
We definitely recommend Greg and gsharp entertainment.

We got married at a vineyard near San Diego in Temecula, CA. Greg played acoustic guitar for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and it was amazing. He did an incredible job and went beyond our expectations by playing an original composition. Guests loved the song selection and commented on the impact of having live music. Greg was professional, on time, and willing to work on specific details of the event. I would book Greg again for any event!!!

We were having a modest ceremony and reception at a residence and we wanted to keep things simple but elegant. Greg understood the vibe we were going for and fit the bill perfectly.
He played some really nice guitar music and then transitioned over to the DJ thing. The whole thing, even from the planning stages, went way smoother than I thought it would.
We would definitely recommend Greg.

Greg was amazing! We loved that he was able to do both live and DJ services. People were stunned to find out that our ceremony music had been live. We got great compliments about his singing/playing during cocktail hour. He also played/sang our first dance song, that traditionally is a little too fast for a slow dance, so he was able to slow it down for us! Once the party started, he kept everyone on the dance floor and partying all night long. We gave him very general guidelines and I was extremely impressed at his professionalism and expertise at filling in the gaps. Greg even ran our "shoe game" as if he were a TV game host, and I was so extremely happy with him and his energy! You can't go wrong with G Sharp.

Overall, wonderful experience. Was disappointed that not all songs on “must play” were played. In addition, DJ did not look at start and stop times for the mother and father dance outlined in time line.

We absolutely LOVED the fact that we had a wonderful musician AND DJ for our wedding. Greg's client login allowed us to enter songs, think about specific music we would or would not like, and communicate easily with him during the time leading up to the wedding. We received so many raves about his performance for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and we couldn't be more thrilled!

Also, Greg went above and beyond to help me prepare a serenade for my husband during the reception. It was so much fun to practice and prepare, then pull off the surprise! The day was absolutely perfect to that point.

I will say that you should make very sure you communicate clearly about things you do not want, and make sure that anyone involved (i.e. planner/coordinator, family, future spouse) are on board. This is true for most things, but ESPECIALLY on your wedding day!

Overall, I would completely recommend G Sharp for anything requiring a DJ and/or musician. They are truly a class act!!
