From the moment we met DJ Marcellus, we knew we were in great hands for our wedding! His energy and passion for music were evident right from our first consultation. He took the time to understand our vision, preferences, and the vibe we wanted for our special day.
On the big day, Marcellus and and his team truly exceeded all our expectations! He arrived early, set up seamlessly, and was incredibly professional throughout the entire event. His music selection was spot on, keeping everyone on the dance floor all night long! Guests of all ages were raving about how much fun they had, and Marcellus played a perfect mix of our favorite songs along with crowd-pleasers that brought everyone together.
What really stood out was his ability to read the room. He knew exactly when to pump up the energy and when to slow things down for those special moments. The dance floor was packed, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the music was.
Marcellus also brought along some fantastic lighting that transformed our venue into a magical space. It added an extra layer of ambiance that made our wedding truly unforgettable.
We couldn't be happier with our choice of DJ. They are hands down the BEST decision we made for our wedding. From start to finish, they created an experience that had everyone on the dance floor all night long. It truly felt like we were back in college, in the best way possible, just nonstop energy, fun, and unforgettable moments. DO NOT get me started on the enhancments!!
If you want your wedding to be more than just a reception and actually turn into an EPIC celebration, these are the people to hire. The music, the flow, the lighting, the vibes… everything was flawless.
Highly, highly recommend to anyone getting married, especially if you want a packed dance floor and memories that will last a lifetime!!! 🎉 -

We had Rick as our wedding DJ and could not have asked for a better DJ or experience! From start to finish, he was incredibly professional, timely, and super easy to communicate with. Their planning app made the planning process so streamlined and stress-free- we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. On the day of, Rick brought the BEST energy and kept the dance floor full the entire night. I cannot tell you how many guests commented after the wedding that Rick was the best DJ they've heard and that the dance floor was the most fun they've had a wedding! The Showout Experience was AMAZING!
My husband I celebrated our wedding on Sept. 6th, 2025 and had the pleasure of having DJ Showout (Jordan) provide us with an amazing experience. He was professional from start to end and communication was great throughout the entire planning process leading up tot he wedding. We asked him to bring lots of energy and give the reception a party vibe and he did just that. He had everyone out on the dance floor the entire night and our guest are still talking about how good of a DJ he was. We could not have asked for a better experience. 1000/10 experience for us! Thank DJ Showout for everything! Thank you Fusion Sound and Lighting for providing the extra lighting, microphone set ups, and monogram to add to our special day. Jordan “DJ Showout” was the perfect choice for our wedding reception!!! He absolutely nailed it! After meeting to discuss genres and songs we like, I knew we were in great hands. There was a crowd on the dance floor the entire evening. He literally had people on the dance floor an hour early! His song selections were on point and his transitions were seamless. DJs can make or break the party and Jordan absolutely made our night!!!! We wanted to set the tone for the night and he did just that! Highly recommend!! All our guests raved about Marcellus and the music. We made sure we wanted someone who would make sure it would be a great time and Marcellus did not disappointed! 10/1000000-- Brought the vibes and kept the dance floor moving! From booking through end of the wedding night, Rick and his team were a pleasure to work with. Their app made things easy and organized and kept me on track with planning without getting overwhelmed. We asked Rick to make a custom mash up for our first dance and he totally rocked it! Some of the things our guests said after the wedding was "I've never danced so much at a wedding before", "This was the most fun I've ever had at a wedding" "I'm so sweaty from dancing" and "Your DJ was incredible, where did you find him"? -- I would highly recommend this team to anyone who wants a packed dance floor all night and a professional team for all other aspects of the day/night. -

They were great to work with, i love the tools they give you during the planning process. The DJ was very quick to put on whatever song the bride requested! We got SO many compliments from friends and family. MY fiancé and I added some special touches to our wedding that was personal to us, the DJ was SO into these touches and encouraged guests to participate! Their energy was amazing, DJ Marcellus is a great DJ and did a fantastic job! -

I would 100% recommend fusion sound and lighting. Dj showout was mgt wedding dj and ABSOUTLEY showed out. People of all ages danced the entire night from the moment the dance floor opened until it closed. I continue to have people from my wedding day tell me he was the best DJ they have ever heard at a wedding! I cannot say enough great things about him and the company as a whole. They follow up with you and set meetings to make sure everyone is always on the same page. It is just great! -

As a photographer who works with so many different DJ's - I truly was blown away by the music that DJ Marcellus was mixing all night long. One of my favorite parts about photographing the wedding that we recently worked together was watching the bride/bridesmaids reaction every time a new song came on!! We had Rick Weber DJ at our wedding and he did such a fabulous job! He was so sweet, so fun and did an amazing job at feeding off of our guests' energy! The company in general was very organized, with a quick response time and they were always willing to work with us to fix/adjust anything. There was even a misunderstanding about speeches the night of the wedding (not at all due to Fusion) in which Rick came directly to us to check in and we REALLY appreciated that -- it was a great judgment call on his part. I couldn't recommend working with this company enough! -

We were super excited to have Showout/Jordan as our DJ at our wedding after seeing some clips of him on instagram, and he did not disappoint! He was very professional via our zoom calls for our prep conversations and followed thru with all of our requests on day-of! But most importantly, he knew how to work the crowd! Our older and younger guests have not stopped talking about him and how much fun our reception was as far as the music and vibe! Also, I surprised my now husband and guests with getting NC State’s mascots for the reception and had to communicate privately with Showout a few times and he made sure the surprise went off without a hitch!…biggest hit of the party! I would highly recommend him for any event where you want a fun time! -

Absolutely perfect!
We had Drake as our Dj and he was absolutely amazing!!! So friendly and great communication! We didn’t have much of a set reception list so he just went with the genera’s we liked and ran with it. At one point he even showed everyone how to do a line dance we didn’t know how to do, It felt like one huge party and that was mine and my now husband’s goal! I recommend fusion sound and lighting a thousand times to anyone needing a Dj and definitely recommend getting Drake as your Dj! Marcellus was absolutely amazing!!! Working with him as our wedding DJ felt like hosting a party with a friend. My husband and I had a lot of fun ideas for music and special moments for our wedding, and Marcellus did a fantastic job bringing them to life. He created a perfect custom remix for our grand entrance to the reception, and responded to every one of my (many) requests with a smile and can-do attitude. DJ Ralph and his assistant Keondre Griffin with Fusion Sound and Lighting did a phenomenal job DJ’ing our wedding! From start to finish everyone at the wedding was enjoying themselves and the music definitely helped to set the tone. DJ Ralph and Keondre did a great job blending in the songs we selected along with their own selections into one non stop cohesive soundtrack for our special night, everyone had a blast. DJ Rick and Fusion Sound and Lighting did an excellent job at my April 2022 wedding. Rick was professional and made the process super easy with the app he uses. He listened, offered guidance and was extremely responsive throughout the planning process.
As a DJ, Rick did an awesome job. He had guests running back to the dance floor from the bathrooms as not to miss his next song. We also used FSL for our ceremony audio and for uplighting. The audio was flawless including muting and unmuting mics as needed throughout the ceremony. Our venue actually offered uplighting and I am so glad we went with FSL for this. Highly recommend Fusion Sound and Lighting! From the beginning Rick was amazing and explained everything so well. Marcellus was our DJ and he was awesome!!! Amazing Team!
I absolutely am pleased with Fusion Sound & Light, Rick was very helpful and informative. We went with DJ Ralph, who is just awesome, he was on the ball with everything! We truly just danced the entire time, my husband and I are so happy we went with them! We had the BEST time with FSL for our wedding! Rick was very flexible about the “enhancements” for our purchased DJ package, he and our headline DJ (Ralph) were responsive and accommodating in communications leading up to the wedding, the planning app was easy to use, and - most importantly - DJ Ralph did an incredible job during our reception!
We told him that getting people onto the dance floor and keeping them having a good time was basically our #1 priority, and he made it happen! I literally lost track of how many guests that night told us what a great DJ he was. And for the next week after the wedding, everyone was still talking about just how FUN it was, which we largely credit to DJ Ralph for setting the mood and keeping people moving! I would definitely recommend FSL and DJ Ralph specifically; we couldn’t have asked for a better experience all-around!Fusion Sound and Lighting's reply:

FSL was amazing from day 1, from the planning process with Rick, creating a vision, to the actual execution! I was a little nervous because it’s a cultural wedding with a lot going on (live band, violin/viola duet), various inputs from family members, and also because I am not local. FSL exceeded my expectations with everything, especially the smooth transitions from songs/events/hosts was outstanding. I had Drake as my amazing DJ, and he was extremely flexibility, professional, and executed seamlessly during the reception. He helped with organization alongside my planner and the live band. The lighting services truly elevated the venue! The Photobooth was the Best! Everyone was truly impressed, especially with the cold sparks going off during the first dance. Ralph was amazing!
Ralph is the BEST. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE had the best time at our wedding! He was super fun, kept the dance floor upbeat, and just good vibes all around!! Using their wedding planning app was super helpful! Being able to import my Spotify lists and select the genres we wanted was super easy! Ralph did an amazing job matching the music we wanted! It’s been over two months since our wedding, and everyone is STILL talking about how much fun and how great Ralph was! Professional and rockin dance floor!
DJ Rick threw a great dance party for us! He was very communicative and professional before and during the wedding day and listened to our requests. The application he uses before is user-friendly and walks through every step. He also helped to live stream our ceremony for the many that were not able to attend in person, and we will treasure having the copy of that ceremony forever. Highly recommend! -

Rick was great to work with. From submitting an inquiry to designing our wedding, he was organized, well prepared, and left us with no doubt we'd have a great party at our wedding. His process is very professional.
We had TVs with a monogram and played a pre-ceremony video we made, up-lighting, ceremony audio, and cold sparks! Imagine huge sparklers that don’t produce heat, so we could use them indoors. It was all very beautiful; this company added elegance and a wow factor to our wedding.
They also help coordinate the wedding schedule the day of and keep everything on time....
If the overall design, a high-quality DJ and dance party, as well as your wedding staying on time is priority to you, this is your vendor. You will not be disappointed.
I speak from experience in hiring many DJs for corporate events. Rick and his team know what they are doing.
