We got married back in October at Funky Buddha and I will say it was the best experience ever. Jessenia was absolutely amazing, super knowledgeable and provided so many wonderful tips/suggestions.
The food was amazing, beers were phenomenal, staff was superb and address everything.
We had no issues at any point and would most definitely host another event at the venue. -

We had our wedding reception at FBB this April, and it was a dream. Food was excellent, very tasty and well thought out, beer and wine selection kept everyone happy during the hours of celebration. We are very grateful to Jessenia for helping us, and to the rest of the team, of course. Can not recommend enough. -

The team at Funky Buddha delivered the best wedding we could have ever imagined – hands down. Phil Colp was our lead contact and incredible to work with. He and Katie Menter were excellent communicators and went above and beyond to make our wedding planning process as easy, and actually quite enjoyable, as possible. Phil and Katie were extremely responsive to emails and calls, frequently getting back to us within the hour. My husband and I were wedding planning from out of state but thanks to the Funky Buddha team it never felt like we were over 1,000 miles away. They were helpful in making suggestions about details large and small, and put the decisions behind every single detail in our hands. We held our 120 person wedding ceremony and reception at Funky Buddha and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the entire experience. The venue is unique and beautiful, the food is phenomenal, and of course the beers are incredible. The banquet leader (Jacob), chef (PJ), and service point of contact (Aaron) were available, thoughtful, and a pleasure to be around on the day of the event. We would pick the Funky Buddha again and again for our wedding!

As a wedding planner and someone who was also in the wedding party, Katie and her team made me feel so relaxed and confident that I could sit back and enjoy my time at the wedding. They had everything covered & also accepted when I stepped in to assist! They went above and beyond to ensure the couple felt like a King & Queen as well as made every guest feel special. I would HIGHLY recommend to couples that are looking for a unique venue to check out Funky Buddha Brewery. From the attentive staff to the delicious food and brews, Funky Buddha is a hidden gem in South Florida! -

We had our wedding reception at Funky Buddha on 03/28/2019 with 50 guests at the private banquet room and the barrel room.
First of all, planning was a breeze with Katie and Phil. Both of these individuals provided excellent service before and during our event. The day of staff was also amazing, always making sure that we were happy and everything was up to our expectations.
The room was amazing and the provided tablescapes that were loaned to us by the venue added to the beautiful overall look of our event.
Our guests were beyond impressed and have been talking about that night ever since it occurred a few weeks ago.
We had the first half hour as a cocktail reception in the barrel room, and oh what a lovely place to hold a reception.
After that we moved into the main banquet room, and the service was top notch. We had a buffet set up and an open wine and beer bar. Funky Buddha provided a champagne toast, lemonade, iced tea, coffee/tea, and more. Our choices included Brisket, Blueberry BBQ Salmon and chicken, all of which the guests have been raving about. Desserts included brownies and peach cobbler. They even assisted us with things we brought in including donuts, for which they provided the trays and assistance in setup of those.
Truly everything was accommodated including vegetarian meals. Our guests loved the venue, the food/beverage and everything about the evening. I would highly recommend Funky Buddha and can't wait to come back here to celebrate on future anniversaries. -

This place is a gem, and you'll love the minute you see it - it easily can be transformed from luxury to rustic. More than just the location is the incredible people that work to make your day special. I cannot express it enough how important to work with people always smiling and their helpfulness exceeded all expectations. We had a surprise wedding and they did everything to help this surprise be monumental. Their food and beers are hands down delicious. I am most definitely returning for another event here. Go see it! Phil, Katie, Jacob, Aaron you are forever apart of our wedding story. Thank you so very much from the bottom of our hearts! -

One thing my husband and I quickly realized about planning a small wedding in Miami is that it was going to be ridiculously expensive and way out of our budget, even if we tried to keep it simple. I started researching breweries as potential locations outside of Miami, and I had remembered Funky Buddha from a brewery tour 6 or 7 years ago. When I started looking into their banquet room rental and catering menus, I immediately became interested in finding out more. Between their detailed website, 360-degree online tour, and a speedy response film Phil Colp (Director of Catering), we were on our way to narrowing down our location! Once we got there and saw the beautiful banquet room in person (rustic with a funky modern twist), we were sold! And then came the surprise unplanned food and beer tasting... 😮 As if we weren't already convinced, the food was amazing! (Statler chicken, goat cheese pasta, roasted veggies, and their to-die-for bread pudding were our final selections after this tasting!) We were so excited and decided on the spot that this would be the place, even without seeing any other locations. Phil, Katie (Assistant Catering Manager & Banquet Event Coordinator), and the entire banquet staff were incredible! We met one more time in person to smooth out the planning details, and we were able to plan everything else via email. Communication was easy and straightforward, which we appreciated since we didn't want to make the 45 min drive to Oakland Park too many times before the wedding. (Although we actually ended up taking our engagement photos there as well! We highly recommend pics in the brewery, barrel room, bar, and outside near the train tracks. 😍) We decided to do both our ceremony and reception in the same location, and with a bit of creativity and a ton of help from the banquet team, everything went as planned without any issues! Our guests told me on multiple occasions how nice, helpful, and accommodating the entire team was. They also kept my husband and I in mind, checking in with us periodically and making sure we had food and drinks in the midst of everything. We couldn't be more thankful for such an amazing team! I can't say enough good things about having our reception at Funky Buddha Brewery! Everyone involved went way above and beyond expectations to make our day special. Katie was our event coordinator and Phil was head of catering. The two of them worked with us to make every detail perfect. The menu options were wonderful! and Delicious! not your typical 'wedding' food. Part of the reason we chose not to go with a traditional wedding banquet hall was we wanted our guest to actually enjoy the food and weeks later we are still getting compliments on how great the food was and how much fun the vibe was by having out reception at the brewery. it was laid back, but classy. everyone had a great time. The event space is amazing! A large main room which we split into two different areas. They have really cool seating available so we had one area a fun lounge/dance area and the other side with tables for dinner seating. There is a large bar, off to one side and a smaller room on each side of the bar. We had football playing on the tv's in these smaller rooms along with Giant Jenga and corn hole set up for guests to enjoy. One end of the space has large windows that let you see into the actual brewery! The room also has their own bathrooms available. One of the very unique experiences we got to take advantage of was having the photographer take some photos of us in the back with all the funky buddha brewery barrels and brewery equipment. (Very Noir!)
The room was equipped with Amazing A/V capabilities too. We brought in our own computer and had a photo montage projected on two of the walls, as well has had our own music playing. They gave us access to a microphone so people could make speeches as well. if you're looking for something different and truly memorable for you and your guests this is the place to check out! the pricing was very reasonable & the service was impeccable. The funky buddha staff made this part of the wedding planning process extremely easy! And a special nod to Jacob and Aaron who also went above and beyond to help set everything up and make sure our lighting, music, video and other A/V needs were met. Other things to mention: Parking is amazing! Huge parking lot to accommodate big groups, the food is restaurant quality! not the basic wedding hall meals. Great variety of meal and hors d'oeuvre options. 12 beers on tap (You get choose which ones you'd like to have available) plus a variety of red and white wines as well. Also, there is a side entrance so the bride and groom can make their big entrance. The staff really went out of their way to make everything run smoothly. I would undoubtedly hold another event here!
