Options on flavor combinations are plenty with Frost! Banana cake with peanut butter icing (aka Memphis Cream) and Carrot Cake were the Best flavors out of the three we went with for our 3 tier. The other flavor was vanilla cake with strawberry filling and frosting in the middle, was good but the sponge of cake wasn't quite as moist as the other two flavors...but it still tasted great! I have a chocolate allergy so we didn't have the chocolate frosting that typically goes with the Memphis cream but they are willing to satisfy every customer and wedding couples' requests. Gabby was professional and communicated so well with me. Cake was beautiful and looked exactly as the picture I provided. Get the Memphis Cream because it is truly delicious and unique to their business! Their Carrot cake is superb! -

WOW. Literally the best cake I've ever had. My guests were RAVING. We did a 3 tier (saved the top tier for 1 year anniversary) and the bottom 2 flavors were chocolate and carrot cake and they were both edible magic. Super affordable and you will not be disappointed in the taste. We had a pretty simple brushed wave design and added fresh flowers and it looked awesome. -

I heard so many compliments on the look of my cake and the various flavors of the cake tiers and mini cupcakes. We bought a bobble head set of my husband and me as hikers. We wanted some sort of outdoor theme. We had different ideas of exactly what we wanted. Laura did a wonderful job of designing something that mixed what each of us wanted. Then the bakers were able to add fondant replicas of our 2 cats and dog. I was so excited to see it. They did a fabulous job. -

First of all, Frost is amazing. Everything they make is delicious. So it should come as no surprise that their wedding cakes are not only beautiful, but taste just as good as they look. The staff there are so friendly and helpful. They are great to work with. They listen to what you want and make it happen. I’m not even a big strawberry fan, but their strawberry cake is to die for. Do yourself a favor a book a tasting ! You won’t regret it. -

Frost Bake Shop is by far the best cake my fiance and I have tasted here in Memphis! (Not to diminish or demean the other great cakes that we've tasted in any way). The flavors are wonderful, and their ability to keep the cake moist is extraordinary! Would definitely use them for anniversaries and birthdays! -

Laura with Frost was exceptionally wonderful to work with and that was a major factor in our decision to choose Frost Bake Shop as our wedding cake vendor. She delivered excellent customer service every step of the way which really helped us as newbies feel confident.
The cakes were delicious, though we did have an issue with the groom's cake falling apart at the back. I let Laura know about this issue and she swiftly issued me a refund and an apology and it was no big deal.
Would highly recommend! -

Frost cakes are the best tasting cakes in Memphis, hands down. They worked with us to give us the three-layer, fall flavored cake of our dreams. They ALSO completely nailed the look based off of the inspo pic we gave them! All I have right now is a phone pic, but I can post a professional one later. -

No leftovers from this cake
We loved our beautiful Frost cake! Frost was so great about meeting with us and looking at pictures we provided to really get an idea about what we wanted our cake to look like. They also gave us lots of yummy flavors to try. Our wedding cake was just what we wanted. The only downside was that it was so good the only piece we got was the sliver from when we cut the cake! We'll definitely be ordering another Frost cake for our first anniversary! So good! -

Rebecca Sent on 12/27/2014LOVE Frost bakeshop's cupcakes! Guests were very happy with all the flavors and we had the mini cupcakes so they could try as many flavors as they wanted! We used the regular sized cupcakes as wedding favors and they were a huge hit! The grooms cake was really well made- they are very creative and great at what they do. When I went in for my cake tasting, the lady that helped us was super friendly and clearly loves her job! We were very pleased with their service and happy to have left over cupcakes to snack on after the wedding :) -

They did my wedding cake, and from the moment we walked in their bakery in Bartlett, they were warm, welcoming, and did a fantastic job of making us feel special and fitting all of our needs. They're incredibly flexible and can do just about anything you can imagine with your cake!! Not to mention, they have a TON of flavors, not just white or yellow or chocolate like a lot of other stores... They can do all styles, sizes, and shapes, and they really worked with us to figure out what we wanted (because we had no idea when we walked in there!). The cake was delivered on time and was so beautiful. I had so many people comment on how gorgeous the cake was and how amazing it tasted. And I can vouch for that - when there is NO wedding cake left at the end of the night, you know it was delicious!!! (Seriously - there wasn't any cake left. I couldn't believe it!! Usually wedding cake is cardboard-y and dried out, but there was so much moisture in it!!) They're incredibly friendly, and the father-son duo that runs the bakery is incredibly skilled at what they do!! Hands down, I would recommend this vendor all day every day. -

I told the designer to free style the grooms cake and she did excellent. The taste of the cake was so awesome. My guest were so amazed on how great the cake taste and looked! -

I had the privilege of working with Frost Bake Shop for my wedding in April. I gave them a picture, and it turned out so beautifully- even better than the picture. They were so easy to work with. I never had to worry about the look of my cake, the taste, or it showing up on time. Everyone I spoke to was extremely professional and kind. The cake was absolutely beautiful and so delicious. Everyone enjoyed it! I would definitely work with them again in the future! They also rent cake stands if you need one! -

Kyra Sent on 02/16/2018I used to work for Frost and so when it came time to order my wedding cake, there was no question! Frost has the tastiest, most beautiful cakes in the city! Having been a cake decorator, my expectations were very high and I knew EXACTLY what I wanted, and I'll be honest, it was not a simple design by ANY stretch of the imagination - any other team of decorators in Memphis would have surely left me disappointed! But they took my design and made it even better than I imagined!! I was so happy with the result and people were absolutely raving!! We had white cake with raspberry filling for the top and the bottom tiers and frost's signature strawberry cake for the middle tier and I had people coming up to me at the wedding asking where they could get more of that amazing cake!!
