Perfect Ceremony!

I cannot say enough good things about Donna & Gina!! My husband and I are not the type of people who love attention or comfortably speak in front of crowds, so we wanted to keep our ceremony short & sweet. From initially speaking with Donna, we were completely comfortable with her and and knew she had a ton of experience. We met to go over our vows, marriage license, etc. and everything was so perfectly written! It hit all the marks we wanted - had the perfect mix of emotion, laughter, and love.
Gina ended up officiating our big day & she was absolutely amazing!! She helped calm our nerves before walking down the aisle, as well as standing in front of everyone reciting our vows! When I tell you EVERYONE came up to us raving about Gina and her delivery of the ceremony, I truly mean almost every single one of our guests. We love looking back on our video and how absolutely beautiful & perfect our ceremony was thanks to Donna & Gina!

Donna is the best of the best!

Donna is the best of the best! Flexible, professional, and clearly demonstrates years of experience. She consulted with us to ensure she would be a good fit, asked us questions to customize our ceremony, let us review and edit the ceremony script before finalizing (hello, type A here!), and truly delivered the BEST ceremony we could have asked for. She made sure we knew all the logistics of filing paperwork, etc.

10/10 recommend. What are you waiting for? Hire her!

Donna is fantastic!

Donna is amazing! She helped make our vows perfect how we wanted them. She revised them until we were satisfied and happy. I also want to give a huge thanks to her for calming my nerves before my walk down the aisle. I was a nervous wreck and she gave me sweet advice and immediately made me feel at ease. She is wonderful and we are so blessed that we had her for our wedding.

A beautiful personalized ceremony!

My husband and I are so happy that we hired Donna to write and perform our wedding ceremony! One of the best wedding decisions I made was to hire Donna Mount and her assistant, Shannon!!! I decided I couldn’t rely on myself to handle all the details on the day of the wedding and gave myself the gift of Donna. She is a pure magician... running all the details of the wedding day like the exceptional pro that she is. Her ability to take charge in her pleasant manner was definitely welcomed by the bride, groom, bridal party and all of us. Shannon and Donna solved problems like a flutist who didn’t show up, shuttle buses arriving early and late, and a photographer who needed extra help. And that’s just a fraction of what they did and the help they provided throughout the evening. They were also personal assistants to the bride who needed dressing and gown adjustments to the bustle throughout the night. They kept our time schedule going and moving. You just don’t realize how many details need tending on that day.!! We all said Donna was our best decision in helping us enjoy our special day.

We were attempting to plan a very unique ceremony, but we found ourselves lost. We reached out to Donna because we wanted her help choreographing our run of show. Donna helped script out the entire ceremony. She fit in two song performances, two readings, a second officiant and a unity ceremony. It felt so great going into the wedding ceremony knowing that Donna had everything under control.

Donna also served as our first officiant. She is a great public speaker and brings the perfect amount of levity and sincerity. I highly recommend!!

I had found Donna on a buy sell wedding site online. From the first time we talked I knew she was going to be someone we used. She was so friendly and made everything so clear as to calm any wedding day jitters we might have had. Communication was clear and there was never any confusion. Donna made our wedding day about us. We absolutely loved this because it wasn’t a routine. It was personalized to just us. Our guests laughed, cried, and enjoyed every second of our ceremony. We are still having our guests ask about Donna and they all say how great she was. I would recommend From This Day Forward to all of my friends and family getting married.

Donna officiated our wedding in Mt. Laurel and we could not be happier.

She was extremely prepared, knew every aspect of New Jersey marriage law (she was a former Mayor) and was always responsive.

Donna is absolutely amazing at what she does! She was so helpful in my wedding planning and figuring out my ceremony- I had no idea what I wanted or where to start but she had the most perfect ideas and recommendations to make my ceremony beautiful and unique! We hired Donna for both of our daughter's wedding, which were only 2 months apart, and totally different. Without Donna and her assistant Shannon neither wedding would have been as beautiful and fun. Knowing that you can give them a list of things to be done and then walking away was such a huge help. Their vision for decorating is spot on, their attention to detail is awesome and their attitudes are wonderful. Our venue coordinators in both cases were just a little bit difficult, but Donna handled everything with grace. Donna was also the Officiant at one of the wedding. Her services was beautiful. She tailored everything to be just what my daughter wanted. Thank You Donna for everything you did for both of my daughters.

My fiancé and I had a long engagement while we planned our wedding from Las Vegas, but luckily Donna helped us every step of the way. Donna met with us when we were back east and took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple. Donna was extremely professional and quick to respond when we had questions regarding the ceremony and marriage license process. The ceremony was short and sweet and gave everyone a glimpse of the love my husband and I share for one another. Donna was amazing to work with, and we loved the ceremony that she put together for us! She was always professional, upbeat, and easy to get in touch with, and she gave us some great ideas for the ceremony (including a quote that I ended up having engraved on my husband’s ring!). Donna was incredibly helpful and efficient at our rehearsal, and for our wedding day she was very patient and understanding with the rain delay. She gave us some options to work around the weather, and in the end we decided to go through with the entire ceremony outside. Even though it started raining in the middle of our ceremony, Donna stayed positive and kept going as planned; she even helped everyone with the umbrellas. And then because of the delay, she stuck around later than anticipated to give the blessing at dinner. We’re so thankful that Donna was a part of our day!

From the second we met Donna, we knew she was going to be the "one" to marry us!! As soon as we decided to use her as our officiant at our first meeting, she was absolutely AMAZING! Any time I had a question, she answered so fast and was there for us every step of the way! The ceremony, WOW! I can't say enough good things about it and just how amazing the ceremony she performed was!! It was absolutely PERFECT!!! She was so professional but so friendly and caring at the same time! You could tell she was genuinely happy for us! During our reception (and even almost now 2 weeks after our wedding) we have gotten so many compliments on how great the ceremony was and "who was your officiant?!"! Donnna was an amazing officiant! From the first meeting we knew we found the right person. She listened to our ideas and got to know us personally. There are honestly no words to describe how amazing Donna was as our officiant. We had a last minute dilemma ( like 7 days before the wedding) where we were left looking for a new officiant. Donna quickly answered us and helped us. She was able to free her schedule and move some things around to be present for our wedding and rehearsal. She had an entire ceremony , which was extremely personalized, back to us within 2 days of booking. Our Dj had a mishap with our mic and you would have never known the way Donna handled it during the ceremony. She also did an amazing job for my sisters wedding ( she officiated and was the coordinator. And my sisters day could have been ruined if it wasn't for Donna and her team) Not only is she extremely professional, not only does she get back to you as soon as possible, but she goes above and beyond for you and is an all around amazing person to work with! I highly recommend her to her anyway looking for an officiant. Thank you again Donna :)

From the first time I met Donna at a bridal show, I knew I wanted her to be our officiant. My sister and mother-in-law loved her right away too. When my husband met her for the first time to go over our ceremony detail she immediately put us both at ease and
gave us great suggestions. We even booked our fabulous photographer based on her recommendation. She took care of every detail for our ceremony and her professionalism and her relationship with our venue allowed us to relax during what would normally be a stressful time. When we couldn't decide on a second reading, she even provided us with pages of choices. Our ceremony was moved indoors due to bad weather but Donna took everything in stride and made such a smooth transition. She filed our marriage license for us so all I had to do was pick it up from the township. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a wedding officiant. I can't wait until my youngest sister gets engaged so that we can book Donna for her wedding too!

Donna was one of the single best investments we made into our wedding.
We hired her to be our officiant and day-of coordinator, and I couldn't imagine trying to do it without her!

We met in person to discuss everything multiple times, and she gave us great recommendations for other vendors, as well as gave us general guidance on certain things in our planning stages.

On the day of the wedding she and her team were rockstars. Every small hiccup that came about was taken care of expediently and largely without the bride and groom even knowing about it. Honestly it was the best money we could have ever spent on our wedding. I couldn't imagine doing it without Donna and her team.

My husband and I found a few officiants from Wedding Wire to speak to about performing our secular, nondenominational ceremony. From the first phone conversation, we felt confident in Donna as our wedding officiant. She came across as a very experienced officiant and one that we could really trust for our ceremony. She also had experience at our particular venue, which was a big plus, so she knew exactly how/when/where to file our license.

Donna is very down-to-earth, professional and easy to work with. We feel like she gave us as much attention as we wanted and was very responsive. In preparation for the big day, we spoke by phone a few times, had some email correspondence and met once in person. She also came to our wedding rehearsal and ran that very smoothly. On the day, she was on time and performed the ceremony flawlessly. We are thrilled to have lucked out with such a wonderful officiant and would highly recommend Donna for her services.

Thank you Donna, from the bottom of our hearts, because you helped us make our day just beautiful, loving, intimate and wonderful.

Donna first met with us at home and we were so nervous, but she managed to put us at ease and was so easy to talk with, and created a warm, and kind atmosphere, and with her questions really helped to plan the ceremony and what should happen. It was a civil wedding at our home, for close family spread out over 3 continents, and few friends, and most of the guests never met each other. We are at a mature age, so it was so important that this day be wonderful and special, and Donna helped us make it like that.
When she arrived on at the day, she quickly took charge and organized everyone, so we were ready to start.
Her speech was very personal and had all the elements we talked about and wanted.
It was very very moving and not an eye was dry. Everyone told us that this was the most beautiful and romantic wedding they ever have been to, and most personal.

We booked Donna for our wedding and she kept in constant contact with me through email & telephone calls. She was great to talk with and helped us with things we really weren't too sure about. The day before our wedding Donna had an issue with babysitting with her twins, so she had another backup officiant on call "Jennifer" who came on such short notice and did a fantastic job. I was very nervous as i never spoke to Jennifer up until right before I walked down the aisle but it turned out beautifully and I wouldn't change it any other way. All in all we were truly satisfied with the whole experience even with a bit of a hiccup the day before. I highly recommend Donna. Thank you again!

Finding an officiant for our wedding was something I had been stressing about for some time, then I met Donna at a Bridal Expo and all my stress was gone. She answered all of our questions and concerns throughout the process of planning our ceremony. She had helpful suggestions and listened to our ideas as well, and the result was the most beautiful ceremony we could ever dream of. It's been almost a month and our guests are still complimenting us on one of the best wedding ceremonies they have ever seen. Donna was my officiant for my June wedding. She was very informative and a major help with questions that I had and suggestions. She created a very personalized wedding that really portrayed my husband and I as a couple. We even did a unique sand ceremony that allowed us to honor our mothers too. We used Donna Mount From This Day Forward for our outdoor ceremony. Donna was very responsive, professional, and accommodating. Donna customizes all of her ceremonies to each couple and adds personal touches. She also took over an hour with us for our initial meeting to help walk us through the process and build our ceremony. She had a draft to us within the following week. She also attended our rehearsal which put me more at ease than just having a wedding coordinator there. Our parents were upset that we weren't getting married in a church but Donna helped us incorporate an opening prayer and a special part of the ceremony that recognized our moms. Our moms were so touched they won't stop talking about it and I think they completely forgot that we didn't get married in a church. The ceremony was quick and beautiful!

Donna was my officiant and day of planner. She was awesome to work with. I even recommend her to some friends before she even held my ceremony, that's how great she is! She is easy to speak to and always there to answer your emails. The ceremony was beautiful and my guests are still talking about it. I would definitely say use her for your day of services. Donna Mount of From This Day Forward was absolutely wonderful for our wedding. We are both in our 60's and I was a recent widow, so I was concerned that the ceremony be respectful yet upbeat. Donna called soon after I emailed and met with us for over an hour to plan the ceremony. Donna knew all about the hand fasting tradition that we wanted included and said it would not be a problem. She asked all the right questions and almost immediately sent us a draft ceremony that was perfect--warm, humorous, light and inclusive. She suggested some meaningful passages and streamlined the vows for me to repeat because my memory is not the best! Donna came early and stayed through the luncheon that followed. We felt like she was a part of the family. Donna promptly filed the paperwork, and we could not have been happier with our officiant. We had great feedback from friends, and we can recommend her most highly.

Donna & Gina made our day as smooth as possible. We knew we wouldn't have to worry about any details. They helped with giving us water bottles as we took pictures on a very muggy May afternoon to getting one of our guests aspirin when he wanted to leave early because he had a headache! We used From This Day Forward and had Donna Mount as our officiant, and she was absolutely amazing! The ceremony was the one thing I never had to worry about – I knew everything was under control and that Donna would handle any issues that came up so I could relax. The personalization of our ceremony made it really feel like Donna had known us our whole lives, and it was truly about us. We got tons of compliments about how beautiful everything was, I couldn’t have asked for more. Donna Mount is a gem, she did an amazing job with out ceremony, we did alot of special things and she helped make them all go smoothly, from the bagpiper doing a tribute to my mother and my husbands father, the sand ceremony with my children, the gifts for the readers presented by my children after the readings and special flower arrangements presented to our moms. She handles everything so wonderfully. Her and her assistant Gina were also my day of wedding services providers, they handled and coordinated all of my venders, scheduled everyting seamlessly and at the end of the night made sure all of our belonging were packed up in the bus, they helped set up all of the special touches we wanted for the ceremony and reception. I couldn't have asked for better help.

Donna Mount was there for me before my day, and on my day. Not only did she help me with my ceremony she made sure we were ready with everything. If we needed something or someone she had a name an number to recommend. She did much more than what her title says. My wedding vendors commented how professional she was, and more with it than other officiants that come through there. Donna truly made my day great, and STRESS FREE!!!!! I can not thank her enough for all she did for my husband an I on our wedding day. Donna Mount was absolutely wonderful and made our wedding incredibly special. From beginning to end, she was responsive, professional and always made sure to remind us that it was our day and she was there to make it perfect. She provided us with a great ceremony template that we were able to customize. She offered suggestions throughout, but was never pushy. She made sure that the ceremony reflected our personalities.

She was a huge help during the rehearsal, making sure everyone knew what they were supposed to be doing. It took a lot of weight off of our shoulders. On the day of the wedding, she arrived to the venue early to make sure everything was in its place and she performed the ceremony perfectly. Every guest commented on how beautiful it was and how much it reflected who we were as a couple. Donna was awesome.

Donna was a fantastic officiant, she went beyond just meeting with us and performing our ceremony! She gave us great ideas for additions to our ceremony to make it unique and personal and when we sat to meet with her to make a ceremony draft she didn't make us feel rushed, she genuinely was interested and wanted to get to know us. We had a butterfly release (Donna's idea) which we absolutely loved and she took care of setting it up and even had it delivered to her house the evening before the wedding so we wouldn't have to worry about a thing! Our officiant for our wedding was Donna Mount. We were so lucky to have her as a part of our day. From the initial meeting, the emails about how our vowels would read, the rehearsal and the day of our wedding everything ran smoothly and it was like having a friend officiate our wedding. Donna Mount was great. I met her at a bridal show and I knew that she should be the officiant at our wedding. She was so easy to work with and answered any questions we had. Donna Mount was our officiant and she was great. From the first time we met her we loved her. She wrote us a beautiful ceremony with exactly what we wanted or more specifically nothing we didn't want included. She added a hand-fasting ceremony which we loved and many people commented on. She made us feel comfortable and I had no worries walking down the aisle. Thanks Donna!

Donna was absolutely AMAZING to work with! First off, we live in different states about an hour or so away from each other. I have to say working just over email was a blessing! We did not have to meet in person until the rehearsal day!! Donna was extremely helpful especially to a young couple who had no idea what they were doing or what to expect haha!! Donna also had a great scence of humor which made my now husband less nervous for the big day as well as myself! Needless to say I would recommend Donna to anyone and everyone who is planning their wedding! Thank you soo sooo much. You made our special day one to remember and I could not stress it enough! Everything was so comfortable and perfect we would not have it any other way!

I highly recommend Donna Mount as an officiant! I met Donna at a bridal show at my venue. She was very personable and had a great sense of humor, which means a lot to me. I ended up contacting Donna to meet in person with my finance. She was super friendly and knowledgeable and helped ease our stress about the wedding. She even helped make our ceremony more special by suggesting doing a wine box unity ceremony, which was one of our favorite parts of the ceremony. She was very professional and followed through with all of her commitments. She did an amazing job on the day of. So much so that several guests came up to me and said it was “the best ceremony they have ever been to”. It was short and sweet but very personal and romantic. It was everything I could’ve hoped for and more. Thank you, Donna, for making our day so special.

My husband and I had a DIY wedding at a family members farm on 9/24/16. We did mostly everything ourselves from centerpieces and signs to renting the tent and bathroom trailer. With my type A personality, there wasn't much I was comfortable leaving to others but I didn't want to worry about day of things like timelines, parking, lining people up for the ceremony, gathering people for pictures, fixing decorations when the wind knocked them over, lighting candles after dark, etc. I wanted me and my husband and our families to enjoy our wedding day, not have to work and run the wedding. I was still back and forth on the idea since it was an extra expense, but after meeting with Donna and Gina the deal was sealed. We hired Donna as our officiant/same day coordinator and her assistant Gina. Donna was great to work with through the planning process and always responded promptly. She is very detail oriented and on time, which are both important to me. My husband and I and our families were extremely busy the days before setting up so it was very helpful to have Donna confirm times, etc. with the vendors. The day of was perfect. Everything flowed smoothly and was on time. It was great to see all of our hard work and time finally pay off and come together into a beautiful wedding. What made it even better was getting to enjoy it. We had not a worry in the world that day and complete trust that any issues that arose would be handled. Our ceremony was beautiful with the personal touches Donna added in and the reception was exactly what we envisioned. We couldn't be happier with our choice. We highly recommend Donna. Our wedding was an absolute dream come true! Truly the best day of our lives!

I spoke with Donna who i believe is the owner of this company. She was very nice and I figured that I would be dealing with her on the wedding day. I was wrong I was instead given Shannon who was very nice but I had not spoken to her before the rehearsal which was a little annoying. However Shannon was great she made sure that it was what we wanted and made sure that the bridal party was actually listening and understanding what needed to happen.

The officiant offered comprehensive services, including attending my rehearsal to help coordinate the ceremony. However, 3 days out she told me she would not be available to attend and refused to work with me to schedule time beforehand to walk through the ceremony. On the day of, she was professional and the event went well. However, I booked her with the impression that she would be present at my rehearsal and she seemed to believe it was acceptable to cancel the week of, almost immediately after receiving the final payment, and not offer to work with me or refund any of the money. If I were to do this again, I would not pay $400 for 30 minutes worth of work.

It is my one-year wedding anniversary today and my husband and I were taking some time to re-live one of the best days. You can imagine our surprise when we came across a review from a bride from OUR WEDDING DAY. A few months before the wedding, we confirmed our rehearsal date and time with Donna. Days before the rehearsal, she let me know that her assistant, Gina, would be there in her place, but not to worry. I couldn't believe that our own officiant wouldn't be at our wedding rehearsal, but there was no time to find a new officiant so I let it slide. Our wedding day arrived and it was beautiful. Everything was falling into place. Our ceremony was scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm. At 5pm, my soon to be husband rushes into my bridal room to let me know that Donna had an emergency and had to leave. I looked at him in disbelief. Luckily, her assistant Gina was ordained and was able to complete the ceremony. When Donna showed back up at the venue at 7:30pm I knew something wasn't right. What type of emergency would arise that would cause you to leave my wedding, only to return 2 hours later. Well, it wasn't an emergency. It was another wedding that she went to officiate. I hope the other bride, had a beautiful ceremony while my husband and I were left at the alter, literally, by Donna, on what was supposed to be a perfect day. Donna had no problem receiving payment in full for her services - by check or cash only of course so you can't dispute the charge after she bows out of the services she contractually agreed to. The only saving grace of the day was that Gina was amazing. She was well spoken and, quite frankly, was a blessing to us. If you must use From this Day Forward, I highly recommend Gina.

Horrible experience

If it was possible I would give zero stars. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Do not waist your time or money, not only were they extremely over priced and they make up fake reasons and manipulate her wording why they can not refund your money (mind you I was told I was receiving a refund check for rehearsal which it's been over 2weeks no refund). This company wasn't even my officiant day of my wedding!! And they are NOT refunding my money so I can actually pay the officiant who was there! As soon as we paid in full communication dropped to nothing until I HOUNDED for two weeks straight during the month before our wedding. A total of 2 times the officiant bailed on us. First time was the original officiant 2 weeks before our wedding, stating she was giving "ample notification" (I'll save the ridiculous reason that "snuck up" on her) Second time being our wedding day 3 hours before the ceremony (yes this was her assistant the second time and a health emergency came up which I understand) but they are still keeping our money, and not paying it forward to the actual officiant who conducted the ceremony. Mind you, the officiant who conducted our wedding explained to us this wasnt the first time FromThisDayForward did this to her and called on short notice and kept if not most but all the money and would pay her next to nothing.
