Beautiful Bouquets, Professional Service

We absolutely loved our bouquets and the rest of the floral personals that Sarah created! She did a phenomenal job bringing our requests to life and coordinating delivery to Breckenridge. The greenery for our centerpieces was gorgeous and worked so well. We would highly recommend From the Ground Up!

Exquisite florals and great value

Sarah was super easy to work with and made us the most EXQUISITE florals for our wedding. She is super responsive and professional, and the flowers honestly took my breath away. I had a few parameters for Sarah-- I really wanted natural looking florals with purple tones to match my grandmother's jewelry I was planning to wear. She ran with it and put together my dream arrangements, for a do-able price. They were so pretty and I tried to keep them alive for a week after because I couldn't let go haha. I would highly, highly recommend Sarah and From the Ground Up!

Still dreaming of the flowers!

Sarah and team were absolutely incredible to work with. I am amazed at her ability to take a few pictures from a Pinterest board and create something out of a fairytale, beyond my wildest dreams. I nearly cried when I realized my bouquet would not last forever, it truly was the most beautiful arrangement. I had so many changes that she kept straight, along with nailing the details that were important to me. We had a 'non-traditional' ceremony arch that was executed to perfection, along with some beautiful arches for the tent. The flowers for the tables were stunning -- it was obvious the flowers were carefully and lovingly placed into their vases, completing the overall vision. Finally, the flowers selected for our cake were beautiful and kept to our overall wedding style. I highly recommend From the Ground Up for all of your floral needs, I am so thankful for all that they did to make our day so beautiful.

BarBell WedFest/August 2019

From the moment our Family walked into From The Ground Up, to meet with Sarah, we knew we didn't want anyone else to provide "everything floral", and more, for our WedFest event!
Although we had a few specific ideas about what we wanted to create, Sarah provided such compassionate, caring, and expertise guidance.
The result was beyond anything we could have hoped for visually. Sarah and her Team created the most beautiful space....with every arrangement, every bouquet, every floral detail, at the Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding.

Sarah's knowledge and vision of how to use local, organic selections of greenery, flowers, containers, candles, design, and space, was magic.
As far as Customer Care, let's just say we consider Sarah "like family"....
Sarah listened with such genuine, thoughtful care to what we wanted to try and create, and helped make our dream a reality.

Sarah and her Team also prepared, delivered, and set up EVERYTHING....as asked for and decided upon together, and at a tremendous value!
When we walked into the space of the Reception, we were all so moved...it was THAT beautiful.....everywhere we looked!
I can't imagine working with anyone else, to make our Daughter and Son in Law's once in a lifetime day more memorable, than with Sarah, and From The Ground Up!

Dream bouquet!!!

Our florals for the day could not have been more perfect and gorgeous! Every time I contacted Sarah, she was the sweetest and so willing to answer questions or hear out my ideas. Most beautiful floral designs

High Quality Beautiful Flowers

I am so glad to have picked this flower vendor to provide me flowers for my wedding. Sarah was very attentive to my needs and she did the job well done! I had fresh greenery eucalyptus on my 9 dining tables, bouquets, boutonnières, and flower combs as well.

Easy and amazing!

It was such a pleasure to work with Sarah on my wedding flowers! She is responsive and makes the whole process easy and worry-free. She is incredibly talented and came up with beautiful, unique designs based on the colors and flowers I liked. Her shop is super cute and with all of the flowers and vases it's easy to get inspiration (the shop pups are great too!). My bouquet was a show stopper and I received numerous comments on the table flowers and ceremony grasses.

Bride - exceptional, patient and kind!

Sarah was incredible through my entire experience. She was extremely patient, accommodating and professional from the first phone call. I had made another inquiry but was sold with our first contact. She went out of her way, more than once, to make sure I was at ease and helped with decisions throughout. Our caterer, after our event, said she was the best florist and well known in the community, but I already knew that! I loved our flowers! Thank you, Sarah!

Sarah and her team exceeded my expectations! Planning from out of town, she was great at communication and ensuring my questions were answered in a timely and clear fashion. Sarah captured my vision for fern garlands and created lush table scapes at our reception dinner. Without much guidance from me, she also made beautiful, textural florals come to life. The bouquet was gorgeous and I loved the addition of an airplant and ferns to match the rest of the event details. Sarah is fun, friendly, and super flexible to work with. Her shop is an awesome source of inspiration and I really appreciated all her attention to detail and willingness to take on different ideas. High five From the Ground Up!

We live out of state so all our pre wedding conversations were via email and over the phone. Sarah did a wonderful job of creating the vision we had. All the flower arrangements far exceeded our expectations!!!

Sarah does gorgeous flower arrangements. I used her for my wedding and she designed pretty centerpieces and arrangements. She is also nice to work with; she works hard to stay in budget while offering her lovely design. Would recommend stopping in her shop when in CB to see the cool odds and ends and pretty flowers.

I would highly recommend working with Sarah and her team at From the Ground Up! She was amazing from start to finish. She will work with any budget, and helped create beautiful flower arrangements that brought my vision to life and were within my budget constraints. She was so easy to work with, which was super helpful when planning a wedding. I never had to worry about anything with Sarah, and the day of, she provided the most beautiful arrangements and bouquets!!!!

We had such a great experience with From the Ground UP for our wedding ceremony and reception flowers. The flowers and other accents (like eucalyptus and lavender) were of the highest quality and the colors were so vibrant. Sarah was an amazing consultant and helped us pick an assortment of flowers that would pair well with our rustic theme and wedding colors. We had compliments all night long on our bouquets and table centerpieces and we truly feel that From the Ground UP brought a level of elegance and sophistication to our wedding. I cannot say enough about the service, the quality, the professionalism, and the talent that comes from Sarah at From the Ground Up. We planned our little ceremony from a distance, and took a recommendation from our photographer and were very pleased. Sarah has speedy and professional follow up, asks questions about what you want, and was able to reproduce a bouquet from a picture that I sent her from Pinterest. She delivered my flowers, set up the flowers on our cake, and pinned on my husband's boutonniere with plenty of time to spare. I am so happy we chose Sarah! The quality and freshness of the flowers used in the bouquet were amazing. Just stunning. Without a doubt, Sarah is THE ONE.

From The Ground Up was amazing to work with. Sarah not only arranged beautiful bouquets for our wedding, but did so despite our special day being during "Snowmageddon," the biggest blizzard Crested Butte has seen in over 30 years. Sarah with From the Ground Up was exceptional! She helped create our ideas into a reality. Though prices overall were on the higher end of our budget, every piece, from the dog of honor's flower wreath to the ring bearers boutonnièr, to my most perfect bride bouquet, was beyond worth it. During planning, Sarah was very attentive to what we wanted and could afford, organized, professional, flexible with our unique requests, easy to reach, and come day of her team helped make our unique venue into the most beautiful scene for our wedding. Sarah was great to work with for my wedding flowers. She responded quickly and met every expectation. Oh my gosh, you have to book Sarah. Her work is absolutely amazing. She takes flowers to an entirely new level! You will be amazed.

She is extremely patient... as all brides do... I changed my mind about 25 times and she was so responsive and so encouraging and entertained every idea I had. Thank you, Sarah!

My flowers at my wedding were my absolute favorite part about the day! Her prices are super reasonable and she will work with you to achieve any dream idea you want! On my wedding day... not the night before, but on the actual day- I asked if she would put a lavender spring on every plate... without hesitation she said she had just the guy from a nearby local organic farm. There were lavender springs on the plates like no big deal! Love From the Ground Up!

Sarah was so great to work with and she made everything so easy for our long-distance wedding. She was always quick to respond to questions and when I made changes--which was more than once or twice--she immediately sent me a new contract with the new changes so I always knew where we were in the process! She showed up on time to the wedding site and the venue location to set everything up and it looked fabulous when we got there. To top it off, the flowers were absolutely gorgeous and very high quality. I'd say the flowers made the wedding very special!!

Sarah was a dream to work with, not only because she was extremely professional, but because her work product is amazing. During the months preceding the wedding, Sarah spent copious amounts of time giving me detailed flower choices, from types of flower, to specific colors of each flower, so we could nail what I was envisioning. When Peonies weren't available in August because of the time of year, she found replacements that I ended up liking even more. I asked for pedestals with large vases and large arrangements, and Sarah not only bought them for her inventory, but painted them so they would truly fit our day. On the day of the ceremony, Sarah was awesome- from set up to moving flowers from the ceremony to reception so they could be fully utilized- she did it all.

Overall the flowers were absolutely beautiful. She nailed my vision and her flowers received SO many compliments. Sarah was one of my favorite vendors I worked with and I highly recommend using her!

I was unbelievably impressed by Sarah and From the Ground Up Flowers. She matched the look I was going for perfectly. She was so fun, kind, and flexible. I added a few things a week before the wedding and she got it done no problem. I would 100% recommend From the Ground Up as wedding florist in CB. She was the best!

We received so many compliments on our wedding flowers! Sarah was SO easy to work with. My mom and I must have changed the floral plan 10 times and Sarah was so accommodating with everything. We even had some last minute additions that she was able to work into the contract the week before the wedding. Before finding Sarah, I had talked to some florists in Denver and their prices were outrageous. Sarah was able to do everything we wanted while working with our budget. I loved loved loved the flowers Sarah created for our wedding day. I came to Sarah with a pretty clear vision of the kinds of flowers, colors, and shapes I wanted, and Sarah fulfilled that vision to a T! In fact, the bouquet, boutonnieres, and table arrangements exceeded what I could envision on my own: Sarah took my dream, and made it a beautiful reality, with far more attention to detail than I could have ever articulated. I loved my bouquet most of all. I couldn't stop staring at it: so many unique pieces of it that were so beautiful separately, but together even more stunning. Beyond the flowers, Sarah’s service was impeccable: she communicated clearly and promptly, offered many options, helped us problem solve the transport of the flowers to our venue (a yurt in the woods!), and even skied out to the yurt herself to make sure they made it safely. I couldn’t be any happier, and just wish we had another event so I could hire Sarah again.

Sarah did a truly amazing job on the flowers for our wedding--I absolutely could not have been happier. The bouquet was absolutely the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen. The boutonnieres were creative and chic. Sarah has a really great eye and came up with beautiful and interesting ideas for the decor that I would never have thought of. I cannot begin to say enough about how much we appreciated having Sarah and From the Ground Up be part of our wedding day. Sarah was incredibly patient and flexible and made my plannig from out of state feel comfortable. She was a great help in guiding flower choices. And the flowers on the day were truly breathtaking. I could never have imagined such gorgeous arrangements that fit so perfectly. Everyone there and everyone looking at photos has commented at how amazing the flowers were. Sarah was so great about emailing me to keep in touch with ideas and payments. I gave her a few ideas and she took it to the next level. The bouquets she created were simply stunning, I was very happy.

From the Ground Up was amazing ! They did the flowers at our wedding in July . Sarah Schmitz has very high expectations for her work, which was great!! She did a beautiful job! We got many compliments on the bridal bouquet , bridesmaids bouquets , and the flowers at the reception! It was lovely!

The flowers that From the Ground Up provided for our wedding were amazing! They were absolutely gorgeous and they were exactly what we were looking for. The bouquets and boutonnieres were just perfect, and Sarah was so great to work with. I would highly recommend this vendor!

Sarah did an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding! She made this awesome curly willow arch for the ceremony that was absolutely stunning. She was really flexible with last minute changes I needed to make with a hair piece too, which I appreciated. We ended up having her make arrangements for a bridal brunch too. I definitely recommend her!

Sarah was so helpful throughout the whole process and communicated with us on every detail. The flowers were gorgeous and fresh which made my day extra special. Everything was reasonably priced and there were no surprises. She worked with us to fit the budget that we set. I would highly recommend From the Ground Up for any event!

The flowers were amazingly beautiful! Many guests have made comments about how gorgeous the flowers were. The overall price was really high though.
