    Fresh Take Is Our Favorite Band

    We absolutely adored working with Fresh Take, both as a planner and having them out at Lakeside at Welch Estate! They rocked it out start to finish and from the MC moments (where they were able to adapt quickly and seamlessly to changes), to the great song selection (I don’t think I stopped moving once the music started), and SUPER quick load out at the end of the night (which is an amazing feat in and of itself). It was an absolute pleasure start to finish and I can’t wait to work with them again soon!

    Beyond our expectations!

    Fresh Take was so much fun and created amazing vibes for the whole night. The music was phenomenal and got everyone on the dance floor. They knew when to play what songs and helped accomplish a great flow for the whole night. Would 100% recommend!

    MVP of Our Wedding Day!

    Where do I even begin? Fresh Take was hands down the MVP of our wedding day. The second they started playing, the dance floor was flooded by our guests. They nailed every single song, from our romantic first dance to the bangers that had everyone screaming "ONE MORE SONG!" at the end of the night. Beyond being ridiculously talented, they were so easy to work with and made us feel like rock stars. If you want your wedding to feel like the best concert ever, hire these guys. Seriously, just do it. Your future self and your guests will thank you!

    Rocked the Party!!!

    We hired Fresh Take to play our wedding reception and they were the highlight of the night! My wife wanted a top 40's cover band and I wanted rock! Fresh Take provided the perfect songs to give us exactly what we wanted. Their songbook covers a wide range of tunes that everyone knows and loves. Our dancefloor stayed full all night long! Working with them was the easiest experience and Daniel (MC) made the night flow effortlessly. Lead vocals are killer, as well as all the musicians. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this band. If you're looking for a professional level cover band, you need to consider this band! Thank you Fresh Take!!

    Beyond Phenomenal!

    I cannot say enough wonderful things about this incredible band! From the moment we reached out to them, their communication was seamless, warm, and accommodating. They were also very organized and professional, even our coordinator remarked how easy it was to work with them. On the day of our wedding, they absolutely blew us away! Their performance was beyond phenomenal. Every song was played with such energy and precision, helping to keep to the dance floor full the entire time. They played a wide variety of top 40 hits from all generations. Our guests keep commenting on how much fun this band was--it's been the number one compliment we've received since the wedding. If you're looking for a band that will elevate your wedding to an unforgettable experience, this is the one. Thank you for making our day so special!

    Made the Wedding!

    Fresh Take made my daughters wedding unforgettable. They didn't just play music; they created a soundtrack for one of the most important days of her life. Every song was performed with energy and passion, and they had all the guests on their feet all night long. The band learned my daughter and son-in-laws favorite song for their first dance. There wasn't a dry eye in the room and vocals were outstanding! If you are looking for a wedding band that can play it all, look no further.     As the father of the bride, I can't thank this incredible band enough for making my daughter's wedding unforgettable. From the moment they started playing, they brought such warmth, energy, and pure joy to the night.     The BEST Wedding Band!

    My husband and I hired Fresh Take to play the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music at our April 2024 wedding, and we are SO glad we did.
    From start to finish, they were true professionals and such a joy to work with. We so appreciate the time Daniel took in the weeks before the wedding to get to know us and help select the perfect music. Day-of, the ceremony music was absolutely gorgeous, the cocktail hour tunes kept everyone smiling, and the reception music was UNREAL. The range of their repertoire is seriously impressive, and their energy is contagious in the absolute best way. Guests RAVED about them during and after the wedding. Without a doubt in the world, Fresh Take is the band you want to play your wedding!

    Best.Band.Ever.

    As the mother of the bride, I had just a few requests for my daughter's wedding that I lobbied for very hard. One was that we hire a band for the reception rather than using a DJ. I knew that a good band would set the tone for the entire evening, and provide our guests with a truly memorable, exuberant, and celebratory experience. Fresh Take was AMAZING! From the first note to the last, they played beautifully and sang a wide range of popular hits that got everyone on the dance floor. Daniel was a wonderful emcee, and the vocalist (Anita - she's incredible) and remaining musicians are all talented pros. The keyboardist played during the ceremony, and acoustic guitarist during the cocktail hour. The dance floor was full all night long and our guests of all ages raved about this band. Go with a band! Go with THIS band! You'll be so glad you did.

    Hire this band!

    We were blown away with Fresh Take's professionalism. Their band leader, Daniel, was incredibly organized and they were a pleasure to work with. Not only did they do all the very important, behind the scenes things right (logistics, communication, SOUND QUALITY, etc.) - their music was top notch. Our dance floor was FULL all night long, and they we were showered by compliments from our guests on our great band. They were also quite flexible - learning requested songs and even allowing a family friend to be a guest singer for our first dance. 10/10 recommend hiring this band!

    Bottom line: amazing!

    Fresh Take far exceeded our expectations on our wedding day! We knew they would be awesome from the tracks we had previewed and by how lovely and responsive they were leading up to the big day. Corresponding was easy, quick and honestly their enthusiasm in their responses made me more excited for the event. To be frank, they made our wedding! They played all night, no breaks and manged to mesh my tastes (pop, top 40) with my husbands (classic rock). They kept all of the generations entertained. Lastly, they were not simply a great cover band - they are all seriously talented artist. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that they were the best wedding band I've ever seen and I am so grateful they played on our big day!!

    Rocked the House!

    Fresh Take was fabulous and a great addition to our company’s 25 year anniversary party. I told them afterward I will need another excuse for a party to hire them again. I highly recommend their talent!

    Great experience with Fresh Take!

    We had a great experience with Fresh Take! Anita has an amazing voice, and Daniel was very easy to work with before the wedding. They learned a new song for our first dance and that was much appreciated. Although our wedding was on the smaller side, the band got everyone dancing until the very end. Many guests complimented the band in the days following the wedding.

    So much fun!

    Fresh Take was the perfect band for our wedding reception! They were so much fun and their talent and sound quality were top notch. Great song selection and even willing to learn a new song for our party. Daniel, the band leader, is so easy to work with and was so much help in coordinating the flow of our reception.

    Best band ever!

    From the pre-wedding planning to jammin out the entire night of our wedding, Fresh Take Band was the absolute best! If you're looking for a band that is organized, energetic, talented, and personable, look not further. We had Fresh Take perform at my wedding with the addition of 2 horns & they were truly exceptional! Daniel, head of Fresh Take, was amazing during our planning process and the band was absolutely phenomenal during our wedding! We had seen this in a previous review so we asked the band to have the horns lead everyone outside to our cake cutting & had surprise fireworks. The 2 horns played a melody leading my husband and I, and our other guests outside. I will never forget the look on everyone's faces as the horns played - amazing! At the end of the night the trumpist and saxophonist also guided our guests out to the sparkler exit. It was the perfect extra touch to really - WOW- our guests! They even included some personal touches with our first song- learning the lyrics to "Love like crazy" and changing a few words making it increasingly intimate! Throughout the night and in the days after our wedding, it was a consistent theme that everyone LOVED our band - obviously my husband and I did too! I cannot thank Fresh Take Band enough for bringing the energy & intimacy on the most magical day of our life!

    Best Band Ever!

    WOW, Fresh Take was incredible! We hired Fresh Take for our September wedding at the Inn at Little Washington. I feel like we were SO lucky to have discovered them! Finding a wedding band took me hours and hours. I just couldn't decide! I was worried the band would sound good on their website and that I'd be disappointed in person. I listened to many bands that were OK, but when I listened to Fresh Take, I was immediately excited about their sound, energy, and talent-- but I still worried that they might not be that great on the day. They absolutely EXCEEDED our expectations. Fresh Take is so professional. They were easy to get in touch with, they have a great repertoire, and they kept everyone dancing all night! This band KNOWS what they are doing! They did a phenomenal job MCing during the reception. Our friends kept asking where we found them! Fresh Take was a major reason our wedding was so fun- I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding and looking for a wedding band!

    The perfect wedding band option!

    Fresh Take was the perfect choice for us. They were able to curate the perfect cocktail hour DJ-style music and then absolutely killed the reception live band time. The initial booking and planning was great, and as we got closer to the wedding, Daniel ensured we had all the details ironed out. You get a great song list to choose from, across multiple genres and decades. They don't include many country songs, which was perfectly fine for us but might be a surprise to others. We did add a brass player for an addition cost and it really was the icing on the cake. You could add two if you'd like. They include a sound engineer which keeps balance and adds another level of professionalism. They are one of Virginia's best wedding bands for a reason. You will not be disappointed.

    Amazing band

    Fresh Take was so great to work with. They knocked the reception out of the park. We had numerous guests tell us after the wedding how great our band was. 10/10 recommend them for your next event!

    Incredible experience

    Fresh Take was everything we'd hoped for and more. I could tell from the videos that they were talented and versatile performers, but I was even more impressed in person. My guests were blown away by the talent of the vocals, the wide repertoire of genres, and their ability to keep the dance floor active even with a small reception size. Daniel (the band leader) was extremely communicative, professional, and easy to work with. They learned a special song for us, which is very near and dear to my heart, and pulled it off perfectly. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a crowd-pleasing musical experience!

    Very fun and professional band

    Fresh take just played my wife and I's new years wedding reception re-do that was originally cancelled due to COVID-19. They were great. They learned two songs for us, and played a great collection of funk, classic rock, and modern favorites. Some of the songs they played were: shout, mr. brightside, shut up and dance, uptown funk, etc. All of which were crowd pleasers and had everyone on the dance floor. If you book them, be sure to spend the extra money to add the horns section! It was totally worth it. Daniel is the band leader and he was very responsive and amenable to our needs. Highly recommend.

    Fresh Take is Exceptional

    First of all, Anita's voice is beyond words. As a bride, every brief moment I snagged during my ceremony or during our reception to just pause and enjoy was filled with the best music. With every memory made, Fresh Take was there. As crazy as wedding planning can be, working with Daniel in the months before our event were some of the most grounded planning sessions we had. These guys know what they are doing, have such a creative spirit and helped me pull off a great processional. My new husband didn't stand a chance! All tears even before our ring bearer walked. With Dan as our emcee he steered the evening in all the right directions. As a business person, I can safely say, hiring Fresh Take was one of the best purchases I have made in 10 years.

    Fresh Take was great every step of the way!

    Band or DJ? It wasn't the first question to come up between me and my then-fiancé, but it was one of the first. I would have been fine with a DJ. My bride, however, spent her graduate school years in Nashville, where live music plays every day of the week. She wouldn't budge, and I'm glad she didn't.
    Fresh Take was such an amazing addition to our wedding. They really were an integral part, and helped keep the energy high all night. The band rocked it musically, but were also flexible with our schedule and getting our guests where they needed to be. Our first interaction with Daniel, the band leader, was via email. We asked if they could learn Lean On Me, a song that was an important closing moment at the summer camp where I met my bride. They enthusiastically agreed. Our next meeting with Daniel was on Zoom, where we just chatted about music. We said we didn't have a ton of song preferences, and that we wanted them to guide the feeling of the night. But we wanted it high energy and the dance floor rocking. He agreed, and then on the day of, the whole band delivered. They even took it upon themselves to learn an additional 80's song when I said that was my favorite.
    One final anecdote I think is worth mentioning. We watched the promo video, and the lead vocalist Anita really impressed both of us. On the night of the wedding, the band was doing slower songs during dinner. I was facing the band and many other guests who had their back to the band. At one point, the band started playing Etta James' "At Last," and I saw a see of faces stop eating and turn their faces as Anita sang the first note. The rocking energy was a blast, and those slow moments were just icing on an already great cake. If you're still shopping around, stop, and book this band!

    This band is extremely talented, energetic, and really puts in the effort to make your night as fun as possible

    They were amazing. The tunes went perfectly with the flow of the night. They listened to our suggestions and followed the vibe of the crowd. The lead singer was just awesome. And they were all nice as can be. Daniel was amazing as our emcee and was so careful to make sure the night went just as we wanted it to go. It was so fun to have Fresh Take as our wedding band - they really took the event up several notches and made our reception so much fun. We got tons of compliments from our friends and family! We'd recommend them to anyone who wants a fun wedding.

    Fresh take rocks

    Fresh Take FAR AND AWAY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! Dan and the rest of the band were absolutely phenomenal, communicating regularly with us to plan out our song list, learning our first dance song and playing it beautifully, and BLOWING OUR GUESTS AWAY the entire night at our reception! They had such good energy and stage presence. We opted to add one trumpet and were extremely happy with how much it rounded out the sound and experience. While they sound great on the videos posted to the Fresh Take website, my wife and I cannot tell you HOW MUCH BETTER they were in person. We could not have been happier with their performance! Thank you for an amazing night, we highly recommend Fresh Take!
