Jami was excellent from our very first phone call. We had spoken with a few photographers but she was the first to ask us get to know you questions and questions about our vision for the day. We had already viewed her profile of work (which was documentary style and really captured the “life” of the event alongside of being beautiful) but our phone call sealed the deal. Jami also does a complimentary shoot just to get to know you and get you as a couple comfortable in front of the lens with her before being surrounded by 100s of people at your wedding! Jami shot our welcome party and our wedding day. We just received our “sneak peek” photos and they are absolutely stunning. Moved to tears by the memories her shots brought back to me. I cannot wait to see the rest of the album, as well as the videography. I have a huge family and Jami got through all of our family photos in a way that was somehow fun! She captured the joy, nervousness, excitement that both my husband and I felt during our first look. And she captured the space in a way that truly made it shine. I am so so grateful that I found Jami and that she was available to shoot our wedding. I recommend her 100/10 for any event that you have. Our day may be over but the emotion, feelings, and joy will live on forever because of her photos. -

Jami is INCREDIBLE! She is so easy to work with, responsive, and overall just a wonderful human being who set me and my partner at ease when photographing us. We had so many wedding guests come up to us after and say how great Jami is and we agree 10000%! Our engagement and wedding day photos are stunning - we’re obsessed with how Jami captured so many special candid moments and also how she gave us gentle direction when taking more structured pictures. Jami is a PHENOMENAL wedding photographer. We clicked instantly at our first meetup and she did the impossible of making me feel comfortable with a camera. Jami was able to feel out the vibe of our guests and match it, and eventually we forgot there was even a camera around. Her assistant was like a ninja, suddenly appearing anywhere a light was needed. We love our photos and highly recommend thee Fresh Studio to anyone looking for a fabulous photographer! -

We were a group with no idea what we were doing and her sage wisdom helped us even in the earliest stages. I genuinely could not recommend a more wonderful photographer! Jami made me calm and had me laughing all through my wedding day.
I'm someone who has never felt comfortable with people photographing me, let alone liked the outcome of the photos, and what she captured on our special day brought me to tears (in the best way). Jami's patience and expertise calmed a nervous groom, eased an anxious bride, and even coaxed a smile from a stubborn ring bearer.

Best Photographer Ever!
The photographer of Fresh Frame Foto, Jami, is beyond amazing! She was by far my favorite vendor on our wedding day, and I’m so happy I found her! Hiring a photographer wasn’t a top priority for me and my husband on our wedding day because we aren’t the biggest fans of taking photos, so we debated not even hiring a photographer, but we ultimately decided it would be a better decision to have a professional photographer capture our big day, and thank goodness we did!
We didn’t have the most traditional wedding that required a photographer to be there all night long, so it was important to find a photographer that was flexible with hours and price. Jami offered us a couple packages, both of which were very affordable compared to other packages I’ve seen other photographers offer, and both packages would provide enough coverage for what we needed for our wedding.
Our photography package also came with an engagement photoshoot. The photoshoot was super beneficial and allowed us to get to know Jami more and how she works. She was super helpful in getting us to feel comfortable in front of the camera, which really helped on our wedding day. Not only can me and my husband be awkward, but so can our family and friends. I found she helped put everyone at ease on our wedding and made sure people remembered to have fun!
We ultimately decided to go with Jami because we loved the style of her photos, and the photos we received did not disappoint! The photos she takes are wonderfully candid and natural, and she undoubtedly knows how to capture people of all walks of life beautifully. In my opinion, your photos won’t look like the average collection of wedding photos in the best way possible. The examples of her photos you see are what you will get. Jami was a blast, and I fully plan to hire her again for future special events because I’d love to work with her again! Thank you Jami!

The best photos I have ever seen...
If you're considering working with Jami... DO IT! From our first conversation with her, we knew it was a complete match. We went into this with very little idea of what we wanted for photos, but Jami asked all the right questions and helped guide us. We had a very simple micro ceremony (just us and our parents) and Jami fit right in and felt like one of our family members that day. Working with her was easy and she gave great direction. We love our photos and will cherish them forever. There is no better choice, truly. Thank you Jami! -

Want to feel comfortable? Want to laugh? Want to feel confident in your own skin? Then Jami is your go to! My husband and I felt so comfortable with Jami from the moment we went to take our engagement pictures to our wedding day! We received many compliments from our bridal party and family because they loved Jami’s energy as much as we did. She is very easy to communicate with. She made the whole process easy. She literally is full of so much positive energy which was extremely helpful on a day where your nerves are running high. From engagement pictures, wedding day, and to print out of our photos every step in this process was simple, easy, and amazing! She captured so many great moments that we will be able to enjoy for forever. -

Jami was our wedding photographer during a post-pandemic time when all wedding vendors are completely overwhelmed. And yet whenever I connected with Jami, I felt like I was receiving her full and direct attention. My husband and I are not the most natural in front of the camera, so it was very important to us to have someone that could make us feel comfortable and come out of our shells and Jami exceeded those expectations. Her vibes and energy are unmatched. Shooting with her and having her present on our big day was a blast and simultaneously the calming energy needed to re-center and focus on each other. I will without a doubt be recommending Jami to everyone I know, as well as continuing to use her for any future life milestones. Her style and talent are evident in her work, but SHE is what brings it out of people. 1000/10 recommend. -

I cannot recommend Fresh Frame Foto, Jami, enough! From the moment we met Jami we knew we had found our photographer. They were attentive to what we wanted, patiently answered all of our questions, and genuinely supportive every step of the way. I can genuinely say that Jami was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Their energy and light made the wedding day feel like so much fun and stress free. From posed to candid, we couldn't have asked for more beautiful photos or a more beautiful experience! Dear Wedding Couple Reading This,
Hire Jami Johnson and Fresh Frame Foto. Just do it. You won't have a single regret. We were drawn to Fresh Frame because we could tell from the first portfolio glance that Jami understands EXACTLY who her couples are. That's really the review in a nutshell, but I have to gush about this woman. My husband and I are silly, goofy, fun-loving people who threw a giant kegger wedding bash. We wanted someone to understand that we are huge goofballs, and capture our spirit in the photos. Jami did it! But we also hired her because she can capture beautiful, sweet, romantic moments as well. We didn't want ONLY silly photos - we wanted our romance and our love documented in beautiful ways as well. Her pictures are dreamy. They're bespoke. They're elevated. And they're also goofy and lighthearted, if that's your vibe. I've never met someone who could capture all of those different flavors like Jami can. And she's also a damn blast. She did our engagement shoot, and cracked us up the whole time. She helped me relax and feel confident having portraits taken, because I'm nervous about that sort of thing. She hung out and partied with us, and really kept the energy amazing for the entire day. We love her. She's not just a wedding vendor, she's a friend now.
ALSO, she referred us to one of her vendor partners, Ciani Champion-Carter, who became our day-of-coordinator. Ciani is a force to be reckoned with. And Jami also hooked us up with our awesome wedding videographer.

Jami (Fresh Frame Foto) was an amazing photographer and we are so thankful we found her for our big day. Jami is the perfect balance of highly professional but also chill and down to earth – something you definitely want with the chaos that a wedding day can bring! She has an amazing way of making people feel comfortable, calm and themselves when capturing photos – she reminds everyone to breathe, to relax, and to not overly “pose” – resulting in natural and beautiful photos. We enjoyed working with her leading up to the big day and she took the extra time to get to know us as people – our story, what we’re all about, our style – she definitely took care throughout the process to ensure that everything was “us.” The day of the wedding was fantastic and she was so helpful in easing our stress, scouting the perfect photo locations, and wrangling our large group of bridesmaids/groomsmen. She was so great in partnering with our videographers for certain shots, poses, landscapes, etc. to ensure the day and flow went smoothly (which we hadn’t thought about prior to the big day, but you definitely want that in a photographer!). We are so excited to see the final photos but already know they are going to be gorgeous. We couldn’t have picked a better photographer. She was absolutely incredible and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone. -

As the mother of the bride, I was hoping that the photographer would make us all feel comfortable and beautiful at the same time..not an easy task. Jami is a magnificent photographer but peri even more important she’s a fantastic human being who added to my daughter’s fall wedding with her high energy, compassionate presence throughout. We even got the horrible news that our beloved dog had died DURING the photo shoot and Jami managed that situation with professionalism and grace. The photos she took are like works of art. Highly recommend. -

You know how sometimes something is just meant to be? That was my wife and I with Fresh Frame Foto (Jami). We found her by chance and immediately were struck by the amazingly cool vibe she puts off. The choice to work with her on our wedding was a no brainer for us. What followed was the most painless process of getting to know each other better, and her bringing out the best in us on our best day! Even down to the little things like making sure we weren't just getting stuck making the same face over and over, it really added up to a great experience... and she makes it very fun! We met Jami Johnson and the crew of Fresh Frame Foto at a bridal convention. The fiancé and I had no idea what we were getting into, but figured it would be a good place to get ideas. There was one booth in particular that enticed us and we were happy to give them our contact information. Not long after the convention, we got an email from Jami with an offer we definitely couldn't refuse. I thought it was too good to be true at first and hesitated to respond, but am so glad I did. Jami's kind demeanor and stunning skills were exceptional from the very start. We knew we had to go for it!
We didn't know what the heck we were doing, of course, but Jami made us feel so comfortable. We had initially hired a friend to help with wedding photography, which turned out to be the wrong fit for us. Jami slid into the open position like a pro. We could feel the moment we met up for the engagement shoot that it was right. We hugged as if we were old friends, because that's how Jami makes everyone feel. The rest of the shoot was spent laughing and learning how to rock our look. And it sure showed when Jami delivered the photos only 2 weeks later, because we were absolutely blown away!!! The photos somehow captured our connection as a couple beyond what we could have expected. My fiancé and I had never seen ourselves in such stunning images before. Jami made us look and feel like royalty and I will always be grateful for that, because I don't think I'd ever looked so confident in a photo before. We proudly showed off the photos to everyone who would look at them and had a lot of friends asking for our photog's contact info for their own events.
Fast forward to the wedding day. Everything was figured out, so all we could do was hope all of our vendors would come through. Jami and the 2nd shooter showed up right on time with the biggest smiles on their faces, all the equipment they would ever need, and fully charged camera batteries. I don't think I saw those two sit down the whole day. They were running around herding the bridal party, giving excellent pointers, framing the perfect shots, and really owning the craziness of the day. You know they're working hard when everyone's heads are spinning and they're all so chill like nothing could bring them down. If they were panicked at all throughout the day, we sure couldn't tell!
Even my mom was impressed with the way they handled everything. And that's tough to do, because she's skeptical of everything all the time.
We got a sweet email from Jami the day after the wedding, which was such a nice surprise. It was as if our photog was just as excited and happy for us as our guests were! That's how you know they care. We fully expected the photos to take at least a few months to edit and receive back. Wrong again! We had a full gallery and even a digital wedding album mockup from Fresh Frame Foto in only FIVE weeks! That is literally unheard of in the wedding industry. And we got a TON of pictures back. All of them are amazing. My fiancé and I literally laughed and cried so hard while going through them together. It was like reliving the day all over again through their beautiful work. These images will be cherished for the rest of our lives.
I honestly wish I could give them 100 stars, because 5 just doesn't cut it. If you are considering using Fresh Frame Foto for any event, DO IT! You won't be disappointed even in the slightest. In fact, you'll be impressed every step of the way, just like we were! -

We booked Jami for engagement announcement photos. Jami was so much fun to work with! I was amazed with how well she tailored her photography to our personalities. During our initial consultation we disclosed to her that we weren’t the typical lovey dovey couple. She took everything into consideration and what resulted was an amazing batch of photos that captured exactly who we were as a couple! She also did a terrific job making my fiancé smile in his pics, which is a feat in and of itself! -

Phenomenal service!!
Jami is phenomenal!! She was so professional and executed our engagement photoshoot flawlessly. My fiancé and I had a great time exploring downtown LA while Jami snapped away. She had visited the different sites before our scheduled shoot day and mapped out the exact places that reflected who we were as a couple perfectly! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jami and Blue of Fresh Frame! From the moment I met Jami she was SO professional, so easy to talk to, and down to earth! The whole time leading up to the wedding, Jami consistently communicated with me about details and timelines, she even travelled to the location (which wasn't close) to familiarize herself with the grounds. The day of the wedding both Jami and Blue the videographer were a dream to work with. Having so many people around you while you're getting ready can be stressful, but Jami and her crew felt like family. Jami communicated with me all the way through the process. I cannot thank you both enough for helping to capture my most special day! The people of Fresh Frame Foto and Video are beyond talented individuals and just wonderful to work with! -
Jen Sent on 09/30/2018This venture started as a recommendation from a friend, but what a spectacular recommendation it was. We had a very tight time schedule and had long since abandoned any hope of professional photographic services. In just a few weeks (literally 2-3), Jami had scouted our location, and she'd given us a good sense of her vision and thoroughly relayed her understanding of what we wanted. This was a big load off in the run-up to our day, and that all important "one-less-thing" to worry about.
On the day, she came early to the reception venue and started getting pictures as the setup was finalizing (place settings and decorations) without all those pesky guests milling about. She captured the bridal party prep as well as a brief pre-ceremony session with family and friends. This was a lot to ask of a solo photog on a hectic day.
Once the official festivities kicked off, Jami was mostly invisible, but she was always available when there was a moment or subject to capture. She had proofs back to us within a couple weeks (if not sooner), and digital finals in less than a month.
It may seem like it's late to mention, but we were fantastically happy with how the photos turned out. It's the most important aspect in the end, and we are always appreciative of the fine photos she provided. The logistical smoothness she provided made the whole experience just that much better.

We absolutely love working with her! Our engagement photos found us all around downtown Los Angeles, in places we’d never been before but felt natural and authentic. It was the same for our wedding - beautiful and fun locations for the first look and absolutely gorgeous wedding photos. Jami has always made us feel comfortable. We trust her vision completely and have not been disappointed.
