Davren was an unbelievable DJ for our wedding and we highly recommend him!

Our guests said how Davren was the best DJ they’ve ever heard! He was so accommodating and flexible and knew how to keep everyone on the dance floor. He made our wedding so special and we highly recommend for anyone looking for a DJ who is thoughtful, talented and know how to get a party going!

Best night of our lives

In going through the process of finding a DJ, it was important to us that we found someone who was down to earth and flexible to work with our asks around some culturally specific music. Davren was attentive and open to making sure we had everything we needed right down the the minute. He provided the music for our ceremony and then kept the dance floor packed all night. People are still telling us how much they enjoyed the music and how much fun they had.

Blown away!

Davren is the person you don’t just want on your wedding day, but you NEED. His calming presence made the day go so smoothly, and despite all the obstacles that got thrown in front of us during the day, Davren handled them with ease, professionalism, and with a smile on his face the entire time! Everyone at our wedding has talked about how awesome the music was and how great Davren facilitated everything. We never really write reviews unless we are blown away by someone, and he blew it out of the park!! We are so happy and lucky to have had him on our big day! Davren - you are amazing! We are so thankful for you! We recommend him to anyone looking for a great, seamless DJ experience!

Exceeded expectations

From start to finish working with Davren was seamless and he made the process very easy. All of his song choices were exactly what we wanted and we truly felt we had the best dance party we had ever been to!! We had multiple guests ask for playlist and for Davren’s information. Would highly recommend Davren to anyone looking for a DJ.

Best wedding DJ experience!!

Davren was the DJ for our 10/8/22 wedding and did an incredible job. The communication process leading up to the wedding was seamless. He allowed us to choose a handful of must play songs ahead of time but was also flexible with a few last minute changes. He thought of every detail, even things we had not even considered (like making sure he had the proper pronunciation for each member of the bridal party), to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. Although we had a decent amount of must play songs, he did a great job also feeling the energy of our guests and adding in some unexpected songs that everyone enjoyed. Our dance floor was never empty and he was a huge part of making our wedding night so much fun!!

Amazing wedding entertainment!!

Amazing DJ for our wedding!

Davren was a great choice for our wedding! He created a special mix for a parent dance and kept the dance floor going all night. He is extremely responsive, professional, and organized. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or any other event! His excel spreadsheet helped us determine what information we needed and was able to meet for a quick phone call to sort out all the details. We cannot thank him enough for making our wedding day fabulous!

Great Experience!

Davren was the DJ at our wedding on 8/13/22. Davren was simply awesome to work with. He was quick to respond to all our communications and he made planning the flow of the evening and our song list very easy. We had to change the start time of our wedding due to a local ordinance change, but Davren was flexible and this was not an issue. He totally understood the vibe we were going for and created a perfect playlist. We really appreciated that he was able to both keep the schedule moving and read the crowd really well. Overall, Davren was a pleasure to work with and he really helped to make our day perfect.

Exceeded our expectations!!

Amazing!! Davren exceeded our expectations. He did a beautiful job during the ceremony and cocktail/dinner hour. He got the party going immediately and there wasn’t a single person there who wasn’t on the dance floor. Absolutely lit it up! Not only that, but he was extremely responsive, organized and helpful during the planning and prep process. Couldn’t have asked for a better and more fun dj. We did not use WeddingWire, we found Davren because he was on the preferred list from our Wedding Venue, Plimoth Patuxet(formerly Plimoth Plantation)

Darven was amazing to work with. He is a great guy and he sure knows what he is doing. He kept in contact with us, made the experience very personal and checked and rechecked to be sure were were happy. He was also open to suggestions during the wedding and was very flexible. Highly recommended.

Amazing DJ

Davren was great, though the entire wedding planning process and wedding day. Due to covid we had to move our reception off by a year, he was so accommodating and easy to reschedule with. There are a lot of song choices needed to made and he was there to offer suggestions and help choose the right ones. During the ceremony his communication with the wedding coordinator was on point and the music was perfect. Through the rest of the night he had everyone dancing and having a great time! I would 100% recommended hiring Davren for your wedding, you will be so happy you did!

Davren was amazing to work with!! With COVID, our original plans changed, and Dav was with us every step of the way. We (and our guests) danced all night! By the end, everyone was still wanting more and a “one more song!” chant broke out. We would 10/10 recommend him!

Dav is seriously the BEST! His playlist had everyone of all ages on the dance floor all night. He was very organized and made sure our night flowed exactly as planned. From the ceremony music to the extra encore song everything was fanastic. Our music was EXACTLY what we envisioned for our big day. Great mc and dj!

Davren was a dream to work with. I had quite the playlist suggestions but trusted him fully to use his judgement on when and if to play certain songs. Everything from the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception when so smoothly. HIGHLY recommend Davren! Great MC, very professional and very reliable. I had some particular wording I needed said during family introductions and he paid attention to every detail and made me feel confident in his work. Everyone danced the night away :)

Davren was so great to work with. He made the whole process easy and stress free. He gave lots of suggestions that worked really well. On the big day, I didn’t have to worry about anything. Everything flowed smoothly and all our guests LOVED the music choices. We left a lot of the choices in songs up to Davren. We were not let down! Awesome DJ - amazing experience!

We had such an amazing experience working with Fresh Sounds! Dav is one of a kind, and really knows how to get the guests up and dancing (people literally danced from beginning to end). Hire Davren now - You'll be so glad you did!!

Davren totally exceeded our expectations, which were already high after speaking with him and seeing how organized, knowledgeable, and supportive he was in the weeks leading up to our wedding.

I have had so many people tell me that they've never been to a wedding where the dance floor was so consistently full the whole night. Our friends (as I guess is true for most folks nowadays) are constantly on their phones; after the wedding, I realized we had almost no photos other than the ones taken by our photographer. This is actually a great thing in our eyes, because it means that Davren kept people dancing so much that they actually forgot about instagramming it and just enjoyed the party! 😂 What an accomplishment! It was really wonderful to not have to worry for one minute about managing things, requesting songs, or anything else, knowing that Davren had everything 100% covered.

We can't recommend him highly enough - if you hire him, it will be one less thing that you won't have to think about before and during your wedding, and he'll truly make it a party!

Davren was awesome -very professional throughout; thorough and helpful with suggestions, etc. during the planning process. The music on the day of the wedding was perfect - understated and in the background during the ceremony and just what we wanted during the reception to get everyone on the dance floor!

While we were planning our wedding, and looking for a DJ, My wife and I noticed that Davren was recommended by our Venue ( Plimouth Plantation), so I reached out to him. From our very first interaction, and all the way through our process, Davren was polite, courteous, and professional, and was extremely attentive to what we wanted for our Wedding day. He was completely accommodating , as my wife was very particular about the music selections for both the wedding and the reception, and worked with us to customize the music, and create a soundtrack that was exactly what we wanted, through the entirety of our magical day. He reviewed with us, in complete detail , the timeline for the day, and how it would proceed, as well as the songs that would be played, including special requests that we wanted. Davren made us feel completely assured and confident in how the night would progress, and came through 100% on our wedding day. He was also completely flexible with unexpected surprises that we came up with , at the last minute ( we hired a Piper to play before the ceremony ) and worked it in seamlessly to his production. He backs up all of his music and his equipment, so your peace of mind is guaranteed. When you hire Davren, you can be confident that the music for your wedding day will be well thought out, planned and played for you and your guests to all enjoy !

Our entire experience with Dav was spectacular. He was super responsive and thoughtful about our wedding through the entire planning process. DJ Dav was AMAZING!! Everyone said how great he was, you could here all the announcements clearly, he quickly learned the vibe of us & our guests & no one sat down the whole night!! Communication was always very fast. we had a phone conversation a couple weeks before to go over all the songs & the overall day- which was great. The day of I felt very at ease with our decision to go with Fresh Sounds, knowing he was going to be professional, FUN, & had the party going all night long! Working with Dav was the easiest part of the wedding! I had previously been to a wedding where he was the DJ and we did not leave the dance floor the entire night, exactly what I was looking for and exactly what he gave us.
Leading up to the big day Dav and I spoke on the phone and went over how the day would go (he did my ceremony as well at a separate location). I gave him free reign to pick what would be the best songs to play during the reception (with a few absolutely do not plays and songs I would love to hear). He asked our taste in music and was open to any suggestions. He was able to find the exact renditions of songs that I had requested.
I was very happy with Dav and would highly recommend him for your event!

Why my wife and I loved having Davren as our DJ:
-My best man said he had never seen so many people on a dance floor at a wedding.
-Davren is clearly a good person and knew exactly how to genuinely and gracefully announce the wedding party without trying to draw attention to himself.
-He was professional, organized, accommodating to our vision, and really easy to get along with
-He let us choose as many songs as we wanted and had some great additions of his own.
-All generations made it on the dance floor and there wasn't a moment where we felt like the music was more for our parents
-Choosing Davren is one less thing you have to worry about when planning your wedding

I cannot recommend Dav enough! He has done several family weddings, so I knew from a guest perspective that he was fantastic at getting people out on the dance floor, but when it was my turn to work with him for my own wedding I was blown away. He is super professional, extremely easy to work with, very detail-oriented, responsive and happy to accommodate any and all requests. He answered all of our questions and made sure that we felt completely at ease with every step of the day - he DJ'ed both the ceremony and reception and it was perfect. He did a fantastic job as the MC of the night, and was able to appeal to all ages at the wedding to keep the dance party going all night! His pricing is also incredibly reasonable, especially considering what a great job he does. Thank you Dav!

Dav was more than fantastic for our wedding in September. We had so many last minute changes that went off like they have been planned for months. I don't think anyone wanted the music to stop even Dav himself who still had a 3 hour drive home!

Davren is an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband (!!) and I are very particular about music, and Davren was willing to take our music requests and mix them in such a way that our ENTIRE wedding was on the dance floor almost the whole night. About a month before the wedding, we asked that he also play our ceremony music, and he was more than willing to accommodate that request. He is professional, friendly and extremely talented. We have been to a wedding DJ'd by Fresh Sounds so we weren't that worried about hiring him for ours. He exceeded our expectations. He met with us before the event to go over what to play/announce. It was really nice to have an outline of the night and he had so many great ideas, but wasn't the least bit pushy with anything. True professional. The music during the ceremony, dinner, and rest of the night was perfect for each occasion. We had about 3 hours of dancing and the dance floor was never empty. If you're looking for the best DJ, you found him.

Davren was AMAZING! The music at the event was the perfect combination. He had the task of accommodating 500 attendees that included kids ages 5-16 and parents. Not an easy job, but Davren created the perfect mix of holiday music, current pop songs and music loved by all ages. He was also energetic, poised and extremely accommodating when it came to the technical portion of it. He went above and beyond to help us (non-tech) people with a slideshow that could be seen by all. I highly recommend Davren for any event!

We found Dav as one of the suggested vendors of the venue we were married at (Plimoth Plantation). I emailed him about being interested for hiring him. His email was thorough, answered all of my questions, and was professional. We met in person and after talking for a bit, we knew this was the DJ for us. Dav was extremely easy to work with and fit all of our needs. Dav helps you with your music selections and the flow of the wedding to make the experience seamless and wonderful.

At the actual event, Dav was even better than expected. We expected him to be awesome, but he was even better than awesome. I don't think a word exists for that yet. One of the biggest compliments we received from guests was how great the DJ was. I've never been to a wedding where the dance floor was non-stop from start to finish and constantly filled with people dancing their heads off. I wouldn't worry about which generation he appeals to because he appeals all. We were receiving compliments from our younger guests as well as our older guests. Dav is a professional at mixing music and a amazing MC. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without him. Anyone thinking of hiring him shouldn't second guess themselves and contact him immediately.

Dav was the perfect DJ for our wedding. First, he did an unbelievable job cutting/editing our first dance song. It's a 6 minute song and we gave him an idea of how we wanted it cut and he did it perfectly, with seamless transitions between the parts that were cut out. He was easy to contact and meet up with ahead of our big day and went over every detail and carried it out to a T! I was very happy, but most importantly MY WIFE WAS HAPPY, and our guests had a blast too!

I met Davren at a wedding show in Plymouth, MA. He was professional and pleasant right from the beginning. What really impressed me was how organized and efficient he is. He provided accurate quotes of his services immediately once he determined our needs (which were very reasonable), he had a spreadsheet for the run of the day for us to fill in our music, with a sample sheet to help us out (I am an Excel nerd), AND he was very responsive and helped keep us on track with his e-mail correspondence. He even went out of his way to meet with us for an extra hour to make sure he understood the run of the wedding, everyone's name pronunciation, and provided excellent music suggestions.

At the wedding, he was a perfect MC. His timing and equipment is spot-on, and the music sounded perfect outdoors for our wedding ceremony, and inside for the cocktail hour and reception. He even provided several microphone options for the ceremony. The lighting he provides is super fun, and really gets the dance going! Many of my guests expressed how thoroughly impressed they were, too. Thanks for making our day so great, Dav!

Best DJ Ever! He did an amazing job and helped make our wedding day special. He was professional, flexible, and was actually more organized than our wedding planner! He played all of our favorite songs we requested and did not play the songs we did not want to hear. We had a unique wedding outside on the beach and we had a unique wedding entrance with multiple songs and he was more than wiling to help adapt to this request. Fresh Sounds DJ Services is what other DJ's should be compared to. Davren was professional, easily accessible, and made our reception a blast! Months later, our family is still talking about how well he played to the mixed crowd.

Dj Dav takes the time to sit down and organize all of your wedding music and audio needs from the ceremony to the final song, and was willing to accommodate our wishes as well as always being open to making a great suggestion when we had trouble making up our minds. His music selections had everyone on the dance floor from the newest pop remixes to classic songs and any special requests in between. I wish I could give 10 stars. Davren was the DJ at my cousins wedding last year and I had to have him for mine! He is wonderful. He was attentive, quick to respond and so easy to work with...not to mention he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. We received so many compliments on our music choices, but when all was said and done, after all the songs we asked for, and he played, it was not enough for the time we chose. It looks like so much more on a spreadsheet! The songs he chose on his own were picked out based on the songs we asked for! Completely tailored and just a wicked good time, Definitely recommend.

We couldn't have been happier with the services provided by Fresh Sound DJ Services. Prior to our wedding, Davren sat down with us and helped us pick the perfect songs for every step of the way. We had a unique ceremony on the beach, where only our family and bridal party were front and center. Davren was able to set up the sound system using wireless microphones and speakers so that all of the guests on the sea wall above were able to hear every part of the ceremony. My absolute favorite thing about this DJ was that he was able to read our crowd and play the most perfect songs to keep everyone on the dance floor all night. It was an outdoor reception and was incredibly humid, but he kept all our guests dancing from start to finish. So easy to work with, incredibly professional, and so much fun. I would recommend Fresh Sound without a hesitation for your wedding!

Dav was very professional and good to work with. He kept my wife and I on track with deadlines and reminder emails. My family has been using Dav for family events for over five years so when it came time to choose a DJ for our wedding there wasn't a question on who we would use. As he has always been in the past, Dav was extremely helpful and professional from the start. He was able to get a contract out to us very shortly after speaking with him to secure our date. Throughout the planning process he was very easy to stay in touch with regarding all of our music needs and very responsive to all emails and questions. He contacted us the week before the wedding to go over all of our music choices and made great suggestions on some of the songs we chose that were longer. The day of the wedding his set up was very prompt, quiet, and discrete. All of the music went off perfectly and people were on the dance floor the entire night. He kept all of our wants and do not plays in mind while still accommodating peoples requests throughout the night. After the wedding people had such great things to say about the music and how much fun the wedding was. I would absolutely recommend Dav to anyone looking for a great DJ for any event. We will definitely be calling him for future events in our family!

Working with Davren was one of the easiest bridal decisions I made. From start to finish he was organized and helpful. I never had to take extra time trying to get a hold of him or wait for questions to be answered. He was so in tune to what my husband and I wanted the feel of each part of the wedding to be like and transitioned from our ceremony site to reception with out a problem ! Dav was referred to us by a family member and we are so happy he was able to DJ our wedding reception! Selecting music vendors was stressful, as many bands and DJ's charge high premiums to offer their services on New Year's Eve. Dav's price was reasonable and the value was phenomenal. He was very organized right from the start, which is a MUST with wedding planning. He had a template ready to go when we signed our contract to help with the music selection process. Since we had this for a few months before the wedding, we were able to fill in as we went along and found music we loved and he added in his own suggestions to help us out. He even accommodated our nerdy side by cutting the Game of Thrones theme song for our reception entrance. Even more, he was able to help us work online streaming of the ball dropping in Times Square with a countdown to midnight, so all of our guests were able to celebrate the new year. We received a ton of compliments later on and I've already recommended him to a few of my newly engaged friends. Davren from Fresh Sound DJ Services was a exceptional addition to our wedding day! His organization and responsiveness was a huge help in planning the musical flow of our day. He took the time to answer any e-mails or phone calls in a timely manner. His use of an excel document helped immensely when picking songs from introductions to last dance. Dav also had a great arsenal of recommendations for us and had good "ear" when it came to understanding what we wanted. He took the time to set up 2 separate locations for us - cocktail hour and reception. Dav kept all the wedding guests dancing for hours! I would recommend him to ANYONE in search of a top notch DJ that's professional, organized, and talented at what he does!

Davren was the best possible DJ for our wedding. So professional, but simultaneously easy-going, fun, and flexible with our ever-changing plans! Davren Chartier is the BEST--he made our 4/25/15 wedding a night to remember! He met with us before the event, helped with the format of the evening, and gave valuable input. Awesome DJ!

Davren is awesome! He was incredibly thoughtful, responsive and helpful when it came to planning the details of our day. Davren helps with much more than music. He made sure all the timing of the day was correct, everything ran on-time and the best parts of our day were heard by all. Of course, he killed it with the music. Our dance floor was packed all night and our friends and family danced the night away. Davren is fantastic and we'd highly recommend him to anyone!

DJ Dav was AMAZING to work with. He was very knowledgeable on the layout of the night, songs to play and when, and his professionalism and flexibility was amazing. I highly recommend for any event!
